Prompt: Charmed, Demeter!Piper, Piper didn't stop when her sisters begged her to.
She can hear the cries of the earth, of all the once-lush places falling into ruin and despair, of the creatures choking on dirty air and polluted water, of the species nearly lost forever, and she opens herself up to the rage and the grief, because it is better to lose herself in someone else's pain than feel her own.
Piper is a sister and a mother, has always thought herself a guardian—who better to guard the entire world? She must protect her son and her little sisters, and how better than to remake the world as it should have been?
She can feel all life crying out for a protector, and she opens herself up to the power, and then she opens her eyes, ready to fix everything that has been broken. Her family will be safe, and so will all children (whatever their species), but it is obvious that the world's problems begin and end with one species alone.
("Oh no, oh fuck no," Chris mutters, while his aunts shout at each other. The Elders are panicking, demons are going to ground, and Wyatt is wailing in Chris' arms. He feels his powers shifting, and he wonders distantly if the future he left even exists anymore.
"We'll be okay," he whispers to his older baby brother, and he hunkers down to wait.)
