Four tries to comfort me but I push him away
"Lets just get this over with" I say too harshly
we walk to Fours house and get a car to drive so we don't have to walk clear a crossed town. It silent till we get to Tori's house, for rubs my knee telling me it will be alright, I shake my head no, sigh deeply and get out of the car. I force myself to smile as Four pushes his way into Tori's house.
I follow him nervously, Tori yells from the kitchen I presume. She wipes her hands off and hugs us, exactly like a mother would do when she is cooking diner for her kids that are all grown up and they walk into her house she stops everything and hugs them. The house feels lived in not like clean and feels like you are talking a tour through a model home.
"Hey Tori" Four says
"Hey Four, Tris" Tori says
"Hey Tori" I finish
"Where is bud?" Four asks
Looking around, like he expects him to walk in the room
"The geezer, had to run to the store we are trying to sell it" Tori says
"You're kidding?!" Four says grabbing my hand
"Nope, it's too much for Me and Bud to handle as a second job" she says looking down at our interlocked hands
"Tori you can't!" Four looks like he is a kid that they took his favorite ice cream off the menu.
"Sorry Tris you must have no idea what we are rambling on about, your face says it" Tori says obviously holding back a laugh
Then I can't hold back "I really don't, but if It's anything I could help with I would be more than happy to help" I say
"no, we are…" Tori trails off, into a deeper thought It appears
"Uh Tori, we are still here" Four says jokingly shaking a hand In front of her face
Tori shoves it away "actually I was just thinking, Tris do you have a job?"
Four appears to have the same revelation Tori did a second ago, he squeezes my hand
"No I don't I have been looking since I moved here, I almost got a job at a book store" I say unsure
"You are really good at art, we will have to see how you are with a pen and ink, I didn't want to sell the shop anyway" Tori says tapping her chin and cocking her hip out
"Tori we are selling the shop" Someone yells walking in the back door
"Did you even hear me?" Tori yells walking into the kitchen Four following and pulling me with him.
"Nope, not sure I want to" He kisses Tori on the cheek and shakes Four's hand
"nice to see you again Four, annnnnddd…." I assume is Bud
he holds his hand out for me and I loosely shake his hand
"Tris" I say
"OH! Nice to finally see you Tris, We have heard a lot about you honey" he lets go of my hand and wraps it around Tori's waste
"Tori do you need any help with the food?" Four says
"no I was waiting for you, let me take the desert hopefully its ok" she says and I open it and check finally becoming aware of the contents in my hands again
"little melted but ok" I hand it to her.
"Common sit down time to eat" Tori says
Me and Bud sit down while Tori and Four lay dishes on the table, Hamburgers, with a lot of condiments and toppings.
"You're famous Hamburgers! Awesome" Bud says and Four sits down with a giant smirk on his face.
We dish up our food quietly, Four and I moan in delightment and we all laugh.
"So Tris, how is school going, we know how it is for him" Bud says winking
"It's going well good grades, and enjoying my classes" I say, mainly just because I'm so used to these question by adults.
"that's good, and Tris is in a few of my classes, Creative Writing, Art, Choir, and Photography" Tori says overly happy.
"So that's what you want" Bud laughs and Four and Tori's eyes widen as well as their smiles
"we will have to see how she is with a pen, and wait a few months see if we get any outstanding offers, have you even told the girl she looks as if we are talking about a foreign land" Bud says
"Oh we haven't have we!" Four speaks ups taking a giant bite out of his hamburger.
"Tris, Bud and I own a tattoo parlor, he bought it for me when we got married, but we couldn't keep up with it, being we are the only ones close by and our main jobs, so if all goes well would you like to take care of the place, Bud can do piercings, and You, Bud and I will be able to run the store together" Tori says clapping her hands together
I agree. The rest of the night goes by quickly. We finish dinner and we play games for a little while before we have desert mainly talking about Four's and I's relationship, by the end of the night I feel like a part of the family. Finally it's getting late so me and Four leave. I graciously thank Tori and Bud for even considering hiring me as a tattoo artist before leaving.
"Bye Tori, and Bud we will have to get together again!" I exclaim
"Yes definitely, don't feel shy, you are part of the family Tris" I get teary eyed
"thank you, so much" Finally Four and I leave.
We drive to the chasm, as close as we can drive at least. We sit on the ground in silence till Four breaks the silence
"I had a good time did you?"
"Yes I had a great time" I kiss his cheek.
We sit there talking about anything and everything. I tell him about Robert, and how he wants to be friends again, I tell him about anything that comes to my mind. I finish with a confession, I have told him everything about me and I know nothing about him and that is what has been bugging me for days.
He holds me, takes a deep breath then he tells me about Robert while I was gone, how he felt uneasy since Robert showed up, and even talking to Ryan, then talking to Zeke, and Ryan, that night I woke up and overheard them. Then he talks about his father, he closes his eyes, and his talking turns into mumbling.
I climb on top of him so I'm straddling him, and I grab his face his face in my hands "Four… Four!... FOUR!" he finally shakes out of his mumblings "I'm here for you now" I say and I kiss him, he stops shaking.
"I love you Tris" Four says
"I love you Four" I say staring him in his deep blue eyes
"My name… Is… Tobias" he says "It will be nice to hear my name again, when we are alone" I smile and kiss him he holds me in his arms
"Tobias" I say testing it out
He tenses at his name then calms down immediately
"What is the matter?" I ask
"After my mother died my father is the only one who calls me as Tobias, when he would beat me" He says
that is horrible who would beat their children?!
"You said I may or may not know, why? Who else would know?" I ask
"Do you know Marcus Eaton?" He sighs
"Sounds familiar but I can't recall" I say tapping my chin trying to think
"I have told you everything I can, It's no longer my place to tell you" He says
"Just tell me, I'm not a child you don't need to protect me!" I shout at him
"I can't I'm sorry" Four gets up and walks away
I just stay quiet, I'm not angry at Four, I'm furious. I sit on the grass for a little longer, before I calm down. I walk home.
I walk into my house and I don't see anybody, I walk straight to Caleb's room
He will hopefully tell me something. It's not fair to be called a whore, and feel worthless and not know why someone does these things.
I open Caleb's door and him and Susan are making out again on his bed the pull apart when they notice me. I don't move
"Hey sorry to interrupt but I would like to talk to Caleb" I say
Susan climbs off Caleb and fixes her grey dress, but it doesn't make a difference the dress is too big and hides any skin showing from her neck to her wrists then and her shoes cover her feet.
She walks out and Caleb still lays on his bed.
"Who is Marcus Eaton?" I say
"What do you mean?" he says
"You know what I mean Caleb, you know who he is" I say firmly
"How do you even know that name?" He says he is confused but he knows
"We are not playing that game, who is he" I say firmer
Caleb gets up off the bed walks to his door, I stop him before he walks out
"No" I say clenching my fist
He gives me a look that says Its ok, so I let him pass he goes to Percy's room Percy is asleep, it is 11. Caleb wakes him.
"what?" he says groggily and annoyed
"Marcus Eaton" Caleb says
Percy becomes fully aware in a matter of seconds
"I told you no, how did you even become aware of that name?" he says looking Caleb then at me as he talks about the name.
"Just tell me" I demand
"Percy if you don't I will, I don't know as much as you do but she isn't a child, she has a right to know" Caleb says
"Fine" Percy gives up he rolls over and sits on the edge of his bed as I sit at the foot of his bed

so just to let you know it is going to be harder for me to write, and if i can't write as much i can't update regularly, I will try as hard as i can to do it, but i just moved to my cousin's house for any where between a month and a half and three months, i am going to be getting a job but i realize it will be difficult being the purpose i am temporarily living here, is too baby sit.
