Sorry about the delay again guys but I wanted to make sure that this last chapter was going to be as non-cheesy as possible. Thank you so much for reading this far! When I have the time, I'll be nitpicking and looking through each chapter from the VERY beginning to fix other cheesy areas in the story and grammar problems.

"Holy shit what happened to your guy's arms?!"

The group just stared at Mika as if she were crazy.

"You just now noticed that, Mika?" Naruto asked her and Mika just proceeded to stare at Naruto's missing limb.

Sakura sighed, "Don't worry, Mika. When we get back to Konoha, I'll be able to create a prosthetic for them that will work just the same as any other hand."

Mika just forced herself to stand up, grunting in pain and smirked at her brother, "Hey stumpy"

Naruto's eyes went wide with anger, "Hey!"

Sasuke just shook his head at the twins antics, "Hey are we going to release everyone from that dream world or what?"

Sakura gasped, "Oh that's right! We better hurry!"

Mika nodded and tried walk forward only to stumble but a large white fur covered body stopped her from falling, "You're still too weak Mika. You just came back from the dead. Just relax and let me carry you, alright?"

She rolled her eyes but allowed Okami to kneel for her to hop up on his back, "Alright. Ya big softy"

It was a long walk but no one seemed to find too much. They were all too tired as they walked, Imako just couldn't stop staring at Mika as if she were going to fall over dead again. Finally Mika stared back.

"It's alright Imako. I'm not dying again any time soon"

The black wolf growled, "You better not pup"

"What's going to happen to you and Okami now since you guys don't have Jinchuriki's anymore?"

Okami chuckled and the others quietly listened in on the conversation, "Who said I don't have a Jinchuriki? You'll always be my Jinchuriki Mika. If you still want to be that is"

Mika laughed and pet Okami's cheek fur, "Of course Okami! But of course this means we'll have to learn how to detach like Imako and Kenshin used to! It's just not fair that she gets to be out and you don't"

Imako rolled her eyes, "He couldn't learn that if he tried for a million years"

"Oh yeah?" Okami grinned, "I'll bet I could learn it in under a month!"

"You're on" his sister twitched her tail.

Mika laughed at them, "Like true brother and sister"

Naruto chuckled, "You got that right"

Sasuke hummed towards Imako, "You didn't say what you were going to do now"

Imako stopped walking and stared around as if she were lost, "I don't know"

Mika sat up on Okami's back, "You can come back to Konoha with us!"

Okami laughed, "Or to Suna if Mika chooses to live there from now on"

"What!?" Naruto shouted as if the world was ending, "Why to Suna?!"

Mika just glared at him and Sakura shook her head. Kakashi ruffled his hair, "Don't you remember? Gaara?"

Naruto flashed a grin, "Oh yeah! I bet you just can't wait to see him again! If he's staying the night at our apartment I'm leaving for the night. I don't want to hear nasty noises"

Mika bared her teeth and a fist, "Why you!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Will you two shut up? We're here"

Mika closed her eyes, trying to find Gaara through all of the cocoons. Naruto smiled at Mika and looked over to Sasuke, "You ready?"

Sasuke nodded and came forward by Naruto while Mika jumped off of Okami, still in pain mind you and ran towards where she was sensing him. She made it to his cocoon and waited for Naruto and Sasuke to end the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Okami ran up by her but Imako stayed by Sakura and Kakashi, wanting to watch the scene more so from a distance.

Sasuke and Naruto's hands came together in a hand sign and breathed out a sigh, signaling the end of the war at last.

Mika waited and watched as finally Gaara's cocoon broke away and she saw his hand move to brush away the white Zetsu's vinery remains. He blinked his eyes.

Mika bounded forward and hugged him tight, "Gaara! You're okay!"

The Kazekage grunted at the sudden hug but wrapped his arms around the familiar grip just as well, "Mika? What happened?" he rasped out as he noticed others emerging from the cocoons, "Where's the enemy?"

Mika smiled, "It's over. The war's over."

Gaara let a smile cross his features and lifted her up, only making her grimace. He set her down in confusion, "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

Naruto came running over with Sasuke at his side, "Hurt? That's not the only thing!"

Mika slapped her hand over his mouth, "I'm fine! Nothing to worry about!"

Imako, Sakura and Kakashi came near as did the other Konoha eleven and Kage. Sakura huffed, "Fine?! You just came back to life after being dead for twenty four hours!"

Gaara's gaze immediately snapped to Mika, "What?!"

Mika slapped his shoulder, "Don't worry about it! I'm fine!"

Okami let out a chuckle and Gaara suddenly noticed the giant white wolf's presence, "Is that?"

"Oh!" Mika rubbed the back of her head, "Yeah this is Okami. You've met him before remember? During the Chunin Exams what was it, four years ago?"

Gaara nodded to the wolf in brief greeting before snapping towards Mika, "You lost your demon?! You died?! What the hell Mika?! What did you do that caused that to happen?!"

Naruto laughed and Mika looked away with a blush, "Well it's a long story. Hehe"

Tsunade finally made herself known, "Well we can talk about it later. Right now there are Shinobi here on the battle field that need help. We should all go back to our own villages for now to heal and rest"

They all nodded and Tsunade glared at Sasuke, "I presume you're coming to Konoha?"

Sasuke nodded, "Yeah"

Mika grinned at Naruto's look of jubilation and let Gaara hook his arm around her waist and kiss her, "I'll see you in a few weeks. I have to tend to my people alright?"

Mika nodded, "I understand."

"And we'll talk about what happened then, got it?"

Mika nodded and sighed, "I got it. I love you Gaara"

Gaara kissed her again, "I love you too. Now go home and get some rest. You'll need it if you really did just come back to life"

Everyone waved and shouted their good-byes for the time being to all of their new friends. The Kage regrouped their shinobi and everyone was taken back to their own respectful villages to heal and rest. Even Okami and Imako and all of the other Tailed Beasts.

Three weeks later

"Hey Naruto! Wake your ass up!"

Her brother fell off of the bed with a short scream and rubbed his head, "What the hell sis? What's going on?"

She rolled her eyes, "Come on! Today is the day of the picnic at the training grounds! Our whole Team is gonna be there!"

Naruto grumbled.

"Even Sasuke" She smirked and Naruto suddenly jumped up to go take a shower.

'Works every time'

Mika threw on one of her black shirts with a wolf kanji stitched into it and black shorts for the hot day arriving. She yawned as she pulled on her red boots and tied on her headband around her neck and waited for her brother.

When Naruto was finished, the two twins left their apartment to venture out to the training grounds. Naruto and Sasuke still hadn't gotten their prosthetic arms but Sakura was confident that she'd be able to finish them soon.

Speaking of Sasuke, the broody Uchiha had gotten off pretty easily from his crimes all thanks to Naruto and Kakashi. Tsunade hated to admit it but she did owe him for helping to save the world. Now Sasuke was living at his old apartment being bombarded everyday by Naruto and his fan-girls to make sure he hadn't left again.

'I swear they're crushing on each other and they don't even know it!'

The two finally reached the grounds and Naruto swept off towards where Sasuke was sitting by a tree in the shade with his eyes closed.

"Hey Sasuke!" Naruto shouted with glee.

Mika bust out laughing as Sasuke growled, "Go away"

Sakura came over to Mika with a grin, "Hey, how are you feeling today?"

The red-head rolled her eyes, "You ask me that every day and the answer is still the same! I'm fine Sakura! Stop worrying!"

Her friend scoffed, "Well excuse me but it's not every day someone is just magically brought back to life after being dead for a whole day!"

Kakashi came over to break up the argument, "Ladies, calm down. Let's just enjoy today, please?"

"Yeah yeah yeah" Mika huffed, "Hey have you guys seen Imako anywhere? Haven't seen her for a few days"

Sasuke yawned, "She's staying with Kurenai. She said something about a special bond or something"

Sai appeared out of nowhere, "Hey mutt, have you-" but his voice was suddenly silenced by Yamato's hand covering his mouth.

Yamato whispered to him, "Do you want to die?!"

Sasuke watched the little commotion with interest as Mika's hands lit up with a few sparks, "What did you say Sai?"

Naruto ran over and pushed Sai and Yamato out of the way of Mika's targeting, "Hey sis has Okami learnt how to pop out of you yet?"

Mika's rage was dampened and she smirked, "Not yet but he's trying. He just won't give up just like a certain shinobi I know."

Sasuke finally walked over to them, "But he's only got one more week"

Mika shrugged, "Eh, We'll figure it out. But hey let's start this picnic, huh?!"

The team agreed and everyone sat down in a circle passing around food such as meat and vegetables to put on the small grill and rice balls, fish cakes and sushi for finger foods. For once, Sasuke enjoyed the time they were spending together. Or was it just because he got to sit by Naruto?

'I just don't know what it is.' He thought, 'He's risked everything for me just to come home again but why? Because I'm his friend? Would he really have done the same for Sakura, Kiba or Neji?'

Sasuke just stared at Naruto trying to see an answer when suddenly Naruto noticed the deep gaze and he turned to him, "Uh . . . Sasuke why are you staring at me like that?"

Sasuke suddenly jumped out of his thoughts with a hint of surprise and whipped his eyes somewhere else.

Bad move.

His eyes met Mika's who was smirking at him as if she knew what was going on.

'It's not what it looks like dammit!' he wanted to shout but knew he could never do so. That would cause too much commotion. Instead he looked back at Naruto with his signature 'I don't care' look but with his Sharingan mixed with it.

"What's wrong, loser? Afraid I'll find something you won't want me to see?" Sasuke couldn't actually read minds but Naruto didn't know that.

"What?! Hey Sasuke! That's not fair! Don't look into my head!"

Mika laughed, "Naruto calm down! The only one who can see into people's heads here is me, remember? The mind link jutsu?"

Naruto titled his head in a cute manner that made Sasuke almost threw a fit. Naruto nodded, "Oh yeah! I almost forgot Mika! Hey! Hey! What am I thinking of right now!?"

Mika wanted to slap him but then again she didn't want to ruin such a good day, "Fine. . ." she closed her eyes and linked with her brother just as she had done with Sasuke a few moments ago without him knowing.

"You're thinking about Ramen, Naruto! Honestly! Come on! That's what everyone would expect from you!"

Sai popped up, "What about me?"

Mika raised her eye brow and shrugged, "Alright, I guess I could try it with you." She concentrated again and almost screamed and yelled at the secret perverted ex-Anbu. Instead, she spoke calmly, "You're thinking about a certain shinobi we know naked and spreading his legs for you"

Sai blushed red and everyone around him giggled, even Kakashi, except for Sasuke. He just stared at Sai as if he were a target to destroy.

Then he heard something whispering in his head, 'And we both know you're thinking of the same shinobi, Sasuke!'

'Mika?!' he whirled to look at the girl who was sitting across from him and she smirked and raised her brow up and down suggestively and kept nodding towards Naruto.

Sasuke gaped at her, 'She read my mind?!'

'Don't worry Sasuke. I won't tell anyone you were thinking of my brother again. I'll leave that for you to do yourself. You know . . . that certain shinobi likes you too'

Sasuke couldn't help but to look down at Naruto who was still a tad shorter than him after all these years. Naruto was still giggling about Mika's words to Sai with Sakura who found it even funnier because she actually knew beforehand that Sai was gay and Naruto didn't.

When the picnic was over, the seven shinobi just talked and basked in the sun just as Shikamaru would do. Naruto laid by Sasuke with Mika on the other side of Naruto and Sakura on the other side of Sasuke. Captain Yamato and Kakashi were by Mika and Sai was by Sakura. The day went by pretty smoothly and all of them wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Sakura spoke out in the group, "You guys ready for the festival next week?"

Mika lit up like a firework, "Oh yeah! I can't wait to see Gaara!"

Sasuke huffed, "Don't you remember you still have to tell him what really happened to you at the end of the war?"

Mika's excitement deflated, "Shut up Sasuke"

Naruto laughed, "I can't wait for the festival! There'll be ramen and games and prizes and tournaments and oh! There'll be people to ask us for our autographs too!"

Sasuke blinked and turned to look at him, "Autographs? What for?"

Naruto grinned at him, "Well since the original Team Seven saved the world-"

"Eh-hem" Yamato and Sai glared at Naruto and the blonde rubbed the back of his head.

"I mean all of team seven . . . since all of team seven saved the world there'll be tons of people asking us for autographs and pictures with us!"

Mika snarled, "Sounds stupid"

Sakura laughed, "Oh come on Mika! It'll be fun"

Sasuke glared at the sky with distaste, "I agree with Mika on this one"

Naruto puffed his cheeks, "Well you guys are no fun. And not only will just Konoha people be there but other villagers from different lands will be there too! Like the Kages and Octo-pops and his students and oh! Mika! Your friends form that one village will be there too! What were their names again!?"

Mika rolled her eyes, "Nao, Kenta and Takeshi"

Sasuke blinked, "Why haven't I met them if they were in the war?"

Mika sighed, "Because they were with a different group and didn't end up too involved."

"Ah" everyone nodded their heads, accepting Mika's words.

"I think they're probably bringing some others with them from their village too. . . . I wonder if Isamu is going to come? I haven't seen him since before I joined in the war. He must hate it that Kenshin died . . . I feel like crap now. If I hadn't merged with Imako then-"

Naruto jolted up clumsily and wacked her on the head, "Will you quite feeling sorry for yourself!? It's not your fault Kenshin died! Imako said he knew it was coming and he was ready!"

Mika stood up with anger and the team saw her anger immediately, "Don't you think I know that!? I know what Kenshin thought! He was my teacher and my friend and he was one of the only reasons besides Imako that Sasuke didn't die that day he appeared in the mountains!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "You wouldn't have killed me anyway"

Mika sparked at her feet, "Oh yeah!? Well do you want to test me now, pretty boy?!"

Sasuke stood up gracefully and smirked, "Challenge accepted."

Everyone gaped at them as if they were idiots.

Sakura hopped up and slapped both of them on the back of their heads, "You dolts! You're both still recovering! Don't you dare fight!"

Mika rubbed her sore head and glared at Sakura while Sasuke just scoffed. Mika stuck her tongue out at Sakura, "Oh come on! It'll be fine! I'll go easy on the little bitch"

Sasuke muttered, "I was just about to say the same thing"

Mika lunged at him, "Alright! That's it! Let's go!"

"Geez, you're worse than Naruto when it comes to starting fights"

Naruto showed his hands defensively, "I don't pick fights!"

Sai chuckled and spoke with sarcasm, "Yeah and I don't have a penis"

Mika closed her eyes and tried to forget Sai even said anything like that, "Look Sasuke." She hung her arm around his shoulders, "You want to make this more interesting?"

Sasuke grunted, "Don't you have a boyfriend?"

Mika whopped him upside the head and whispered in his ear, "If I win then you have to tell Naruto how you really feel about him."

Sasuke gulped, "And if I win then you have to admit verbally that I am better than you in every possible way"

Mika snarled but nodded, "Agreed"

Sasuke stood in front of Naruto with a bruise on his face and dried blood on his nose, electricity still faintly zapping off him from Mika's attack. Mika stood behind him with a smirk. It was obvious that she had won and Sasuke really just couldn't believe it. Frankly, Naruto was expecting Sasuke to lose against Mika but didn't know what they made their deal over. Apparently everyone else did though and he was left sweating and looking fearful about what the hell Mika told Sasuke to do.

Sasuke sighed and came forward, "Naruto"

The blonde looked up at Sasuke with wide Blue eyes, "Yeah?"

Sasuke smiled and placed his hand on Naruto's head, "You're my best friend and I love you"

Naruto grinned, "Aw! You're my best friend too Sasuke!"

Mika gaped at them, "What?! Naruto he just said he loves you!"

Naruto laughed, "As a friend Mika! Geez! What's it going to take to make you believe Sasuke and I aren't gay?!"

Mika glared at them, "I will get you guys to admit it one day, mark my words"

The two boys sighed and rolled their eyes.

The gang's rest of the day went pretty smoothly and Sakura had healed Sasuke from Mika's attack, still pretty angry that they even fought at all. At the end of the day the group was all at peace again and even Sasuke displayed a smile.

One week later

There was suddenly a knock at the door and Mika went to go answer it to see that it was Sasuke himself standing at the doorway with Sakura. Sakura grinned, "Hey are you guys ready to come help set things up for the festival?"

Mika laughed, "Yeah Naruto's just cleaning himself up and we'll be ready." She sent a sly look at Sasuke, "Hey you two going out?!"

Sakura jumped away from Sasuke, "Mika! No way! I mean well it's not that I don't like you Sasuke but-"

"I know Sakura. You like someone else. It's alright"

Mika blushed and gripped Sakura's shoulders, "Oh crap! Who is it?! Who?! I must know!"

Sakura blushed red and looked away, "No! I'm not telling! Let go!'

"Never!"

Naruto appeared at the door, "What are you guys talking about?"

Mika and Sakura broke away, "Nothing!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes at Naruto, "They're just being girls. Come on. You ready?"

Naruto bust out in a grin, "You bet! Let's go!"

The team set off together into a run before someone else decided to join them, "hey everyone!" Sai waved as he ran beside Naruto.

Naruto grinned, "Hey Sai!"

Sakura politely waved but Mika just smirked, "Who are you again?"

Sai just stared at her, "You know who I am Mika"

Sasuke spoke out, "I honestly forgot"

Naruto gently prodded Sasuke with his one working arm, "Knock it off, Bastard"

Sasuke smirked, "Make me loser"

As Team Seven made it to the Festival grounds in the forest clearing, they noticed most of the people were already there. Tsunade chose to have the festival in a more wide open area instead of in Konoha because of all of the extra people and Shinobi they would be expecting, which explained why the festival needed so many shinobi to set up in such a small amount of time.

Choji, Shikamaru and Ino were setting up tables. Kiba, Akamaru, Hinata and Shino were setting up the bands for the music. Kakashi, Iruka, Tsunade, Kurenai and Shizune were getting the platform ready for the tournament, Guy, Lee and Tenten were getting the other entertainment ready and the others like Ebisu, Anko, Ibiki, Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon were getting the food ready.

Mika even noticed that Imako was out and about helping and watching Kurenai so she wouldn't fall or anything since she was pregnant.

Naruto grabbed Sasuke's one arm and dragged him over to their friends. There was some protest from the Uchiha but it was clearly ignored. Mika chuckled and watched as Ino waved over to Sai in a flirty manner and the poor kid blushed and walked over to her with a small smile.

Then it was just Mika and Sakura and the Uzumaki was about to ask her who she had a crush on until Sakura spoke first, "So how are you doing today?"

"Same I guess. Eh" Mika shrugged only to grunt a little when the white wolf bulldozed out of her like a crazy squirrel, "Uhn! Geez Okami! Be careful! I almost threw up!"

The white wolf bounded around and barked happily, even venturing over to his sister to gloat at how good he had gotten at his little trick.

"Oh leave me alone you big oaf! And stop bouncing around like an idiot! You'll make Kurenai fall!"

Okami stilled and Kurenai laughed, "Don't worry Imako. I'm not going to get hurt. You worry too much"

Imako whined, "But you're due any day now!"

Okami rolled his eyes, "Oh leave her alone you fun killer!"

"What did you call me?!" everyone watched in amusement as the two wolves ran around chasing each other.

"Hahahaahah!" Mika laughed at them, "Run Okami! Run!"

Someone behind her suddenly grabbed her shoulder, "I think it's you who really should be running"

Mika whipped around, "Gaara! Hey Coon boy!"

Gaara growled, "Don't you 'Coon boy' me! Naruto finally told me what happened! How could you be so reckless Mika!? You swore you'd never get yourself killed!"

Mika wrapped her arms around her Kazekage's neck, "Hey. I'm alive now though alright? Stop being so dramatic and kiss me"

He just stared at her for the longest time before finally relenting and leaning in for a kiss. Gaara breathed in her scent and hummed, "Hmmmm. I'm dramatic am I?"

Mika laughed, "A little"

Naruto shouted at them, "Hey get a room you two!"

"Maybe we will!" she shouted back and Naruto made a disgusted face.

Sasuke just smirked at the scene but his sights were taken away when he saw Kankuro leading Sakura away from the crowd of people. He kept an eye on them and watched as they disappeared in the brush and trees. He sighed and looked back over at Naruto who was chatting up a storm with Hinata, Temari was standing away from everyone with Shikamaru and even Anko was starting to flirt dangerously with Iruka and Kakashi. Hell even Lee and Tenten were starting to get closer!

Sasuke just didn't feel as if he was 'back'. Not even any of his fan-girls bothered him anymore except for Karin and that bitch was going to die soon if she kept trying to steal his clothes and sniff him in public. It was just getting too weird.

Mika noticed Sasuke's depression but just smirked and turned back to Gaara who appreciated it, "I'm glad you're here coon-boy"

Gaara pecked her lips, "So am I. Now let's go have some fun today. I only have a couple of days before I have to go back to Suna. Baki is in charge of Suna while Temari, Kankuro and I are away."

"Speaking of Kankuro, where is he?"

Gaara shrugged, "Come on" he pulled her arm with a smile, "Let's go have some fun"

The day went by smoothly and people danced, ate and played games but at night was where the real fun began and most of the village appeared to join in as well in celebration.

Mika was bouncing around with Gaara at her side going through all of the stands as if she'd never been to a festival before. She was about to bite on a grilled squid when she heard someone call her name. She whipped around to see old friends and Gaara grinned almost unnoticeably, "Men. It's good to see you."

Mika's jaw dropped, "Nao, Kenta, Takeshi! Isamu!"

She bounded over but stopped when she saw Isamu's face. Absolutely heartbroken and sad. Mika edged over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, "I'm so sorry Isamu. I shouldn't have let Imako do it."

Isamu just look at her and wiped a stray tear from his face, "Don't worry about it. Kenshin told me everything. It had to be done. You have nothing to be guilty for, Mika"

Mika looked away, "I wish I felt that way. Kenshin was my friend and teacher. You brother. I can never feel NOT guilty for what happened, Isamu."

The little brother of Kenshin pulled her into a hug and pat her back, "It's not your fault." He pulled away and smiled, "The last thing he said to me was that he loved me. I've been waiting for him to let all of his feelings go since you brought me back to him, Mika. I couldn't've asked for more. Thank you Mika Uzumaki"

Mika closed her eyes and nodded, ignoring the tears that trailed down her face, "Okay"

Nao, Kenta and Takeshi grinned at them foolishly.

So the afternoon went on in peaceful happiness and everyone had a wonderful time with food, games and conversation. Even Imako was giving children rides on her back.

Tsunade stood on the platform in the middle of the grounds and shouted in a microphone, "Now is the time for the tournament! Second and third prize winners get a free Ichiraku coupon for ten free bowls of ramen and the first prize winner gets one hundred and twenty thousand ryos! So come up any and all for the opportunity to win!"

The crowd cheered and immediately Tsunade's offer rose the top Shinobi to compete. Kiba, Tenten, Lee, Choji, Sakura, Kakashi, Guy, Temari and even Naruto and Sasuke rose to the challenge. That's when Mika cracked her knuckles and nudged Gaara, "Hey let's get in on the fight, eh?"

Gaara smirked, "You realize that if we end up fighting each other I won't go easy on you, right?"

Mika dragged a finger down his neck and chest, "Oooh You know I love it when you're rough with me"

Without another word, she ran up to the platform, not waiting for a blushing Gaara who was right behind her.

Tsunade let out a laugh, "Alright! Here's how this is going to work! The contestants may only use one jutsu of their choosing and none other! Other than that you may only use Taijutsu and no weapons and if you are thrown off the platform, you lose! This is only for fun! Are you ready?!"

The contestants nodded and Naruto shouted, "Ready!"

Shizune revealed who would be facing who by random and the audience was thrilled. The first round would be Choji vs Temari, Kakashi vs Konohamaru, Kiba vs Mika, Gaara vs Guy, Sasuke vs Sai, Sakura vs Lee, Tenten vs Naruto and Anko vs Iruka.

The first match, however, went by pretty fast, though as all Temari had to do was use her Wind Scythe Jutsu, without her fan mind you, and in the second match, Kakashi used his Chidori against the spirited Genin before he had the chance to use 'that' jutsu. Then it was up to Mika and Kiba.

"Hey Kiba, I'll try not win too fast alright?"

The dog-boy grinned, "Oh yeah? Trying to be all tough like Naruto are ya? That's what he said too in the last Chunin Exams, remember? I ended up kicking his ass before he-"

Suddenly Mika appeared behind Kiba using her Teleportation jutsu and hit him directly behind his neck effectively knocking him out.

Naruto gulped, "I hope I don't have to face her"

Sasuke smirked, "Why? You chicken to fight your sister?"

"And you're not afraid of her?!"

Sasuke didn't have anything to say after that as the next match began with Gaara and Guy and of course Gaara won since Guy had a bit too much to drink. Then it was Sasuke and Sai's turn but since Ino cheered so loud for Sai to win, the poor boy lost his concentration in the middle and got knocked out by Sasuke's one fist. 'Hn' he thought, 'My replacement my ass'

Next up it was Sakura vs Lee but the youthful opponent just couldn't hurt his friend so Lee ended up giving up. Next up was Naruto vs Tenten and boy was that a waste of time. Without Tenten's weapons, she was sure to lose against the hero of Konoha with only Taijutsu to use. And then next was Anko vs Iruka but Mika stopped paying attention to flirt with Gaara. Apparently Iruka won. Good for him.

The next round began with Temari vs Kakashi. The battle was tough as Kakashi found it hard to maneuver around when Temari used her Wind Scythe but Team Seven's sensei managed to evade and attack using his Chidori to shock and knock her out. Next was Mika vs Gaara and the crowd was going wild to see the match between lovers.

Gaara crossed his arms and smirked, "Remember I said I wouldn't go easy on you"

Mika crouched, "I was hoping you wouldn't." she rushed in to attack but Gaara quickly dodged and the two smiled as they attacked and evaded each other. The crowd watched the harmonious fight. It didn't even seem like a fight at all. More like a dance and Naruto smiled at them, "They really do love each other, don't they?"

Sasuke, being the only one listening to Naruto smiled and nodded, "Yeah. They do" and this only seemed to depress Sasuke even further than before.

But suddenly Mika had the upper hand as she drove in to Gaara for a kiss and the Kazekage was doomed to lose after that as Mika lightly pushed him off the platform and giggled, "Oops"

Gaara just smiled, "That's alright. I'll win later tonight"

Mika just blushed and went over to stand by her brother and Sasuke who shook their heads mentally.

Then next match belonged to Sasuke and Sakura. It was a difficult one for sure as Sasuke did all he could just to dodge the feisty kunoichi's chakra filled punches but he managed to get his footing in the end and knock her out fast by whacking the back of her neck. It seemed that a lot of shinobi were doing that today just to end their battles quickly and efficiently.

Then the last match of round two belonged to Naruto and Iruka but the Chunin politely declined to fight and only wished to say just how proud he was of Naruto. The boy almost lit up in tears but with a crowd around he only grinned with his eyes closed, afraid he just might cry anyway.

Round three had to be the most exciting so far as Mika and Kakashi were pit together first but try as he might, Kakashi knew he wasn't a match for his old student and he lost with dignity.

Then the match of Naruto vs Sasuke came and the crowd went wild, wanting to see the match as if it would be the last of the night. Naruto and Sasuke stood before each other and Naruto grinned, "You ready Sasuke!?"

Sasuke smirked, "Yeah whatever loser."

Naruto bolted at him but did something the crowd would never had expected.

"Sexy Jutsu!"

He suddenly transformed into his female form of a beautiful naked blonde woman with huge breasts and adorable voice, "Hey Sasuke! You wanna play?"

Immediately most of the men in the crowd blushed red, some fainted and a lot sported bloody noses from their own pervertedness.

But Sasuke merely stood there are stared as if it wasn't anything special. He walked over to 'her' and whispered, "You know that won't work loser. I have more control than that."

The effect Sasuke's words had on the blonde was immediate and he transformed back to male and shrieked, "What!?" no male has ever got past his Sexy Jutsu before!

The Uchiha merely kicked him and sent him flying off the platform with a groan. Mika had her hands to her mouth in shock, 'Whoa. Wait is Sasuke really gay?! Is that why that wouldn't work on him!?'

But she only shook her head and bolted back up onto the stage to Sasuke, "Hey Sasuke" she came closer to him and whispered so only he could hear her while the crowd was preparing for the last match of the night between none other than Mika and Sasuke, "Do you have a crush on my brother? Tell the truth this time"

Sasuke sported just a slight blush that only Mika could sense and that was all Mika needed to see to know. Sasuke, however, just scoffed at her, "No way! Are you insane?!"

Mika grinned at him and backed off to ready herself to fight.

"Ready Uchiha? Have you healed from last time?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes and began to brood, "It's not like anyone cares. Everyone's rooting for you to win anyway"

Mika stared into Sasuke's cold black eyes and saw his emotions like rain on the coldest and darkest day. Sasuke really thought that no one cared about him anymore and that people in the village still wanted him dead for the things he's done. Mika smiled and stood tall, "Sasuke. You've grown a lot in these last few years. You've come out of darkness just a few weeks ago and already you've repented for so much."

Sasuke looked away and shook his head, "You're wrong. I haven't repented for everything. In fact I still need to repent for so many others that I've hurt. Like you Mika. I should have done this the minute you came back to life"

Everyone was shocked as the proud Uchiha got down on his knees and bowed to her, "I'm sorry Mika Uzumaki for everything I've done to you and your family. Please forgive me one day"

Even Naruto was speechless at Sasuke's plea, 'Sasuke'

Mika and everyone stared at him but he didn't budge. The girl bent down and placed a hand on his shoulder, "I forgave you the day you helped to save my life and came back to Konoha Sasuke."

He looked up at her and she grinned a Naruto smile, "Let's not fight today. Perhaps you'll beat me some other time. You're depressing everyone" She turned to the crowd and gripped Sasuke's one hand to pull him up, "I forfeit the match! Sasuke Uchiha wins first place!"

The crowd was silent for a few moments before everyone started clapping and cheering and everyone suddenly got excited and rowdy again, happy for the end of the tournament's winner. Sasuke looked out to everyone with shock, 'I thought they'd hate it if I won. But perhaps it's because Mika said it was okay?'

Tsunade came forth and offered him the prize money which he gratefully received and thanked the Hokage for. He had been needing the money to start restoring the Uchiha district. Naruto in the end was just happy enough to get a free coupon to Ichiraku's and see his best friend smile.

Tsunade was about to announce the fireworks to start when a voice suddenly rang throughout the grounds, "Wait!"

Everyone stared as Gaara made his way back up to the platform and up to Mika, "I have something to say. Something I've been wanting to say for a very long time"

Tsunade grinned as did the other Kage and Gaara's siblings and Naruto nodded to Gaara who was waiting for his okay.

Mika narrowed her eyes, "Gaara what's going on?"

Sasuke walked over to stand by Naruto, "Let me guess. He asked your permission finally?"

Naruto nodded, "Earlier today when Mika was busy pulling Okami and Akamaru off each other from fighting over a toy"

Gaara gazed at Mika and cupped her cheek with his hand, "We've been through so much together Mika. From the day we first met I knew then and there that you were special. I had no idea how special until you finally opened my eyes from the darkness. And then you came back from training in the Land of Snow and that feeling I had for you only grew. I recognized it finally to be love."

Mika stared and hung onto Gaara's every word.

"When I came back to life that feeling came back a thousand times stronger and I only had one thing on my mind I've wanted to ask you since then but knew I didn't have the strength to yet for the fear that you wouldn't be ready"

Mika gasped as Gaara kneeled on one knee and brought out a ring, "I've loved you for so long Mika and I will always love you no matter what. Will you marry me?"

The whole crowd in the grounds was silent as they all awaited Mika's answer. Mika covered her mouth with her hands and stared at Gaara with tear filled eyes.

In the crowd Temari and Kankuro and Kakashi, Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto and even Sai and the rest of the Konoha eleven waited for the emotional answer as Mika fell onto her knees and pounced onto Gaara with a cry of pure joy, "YES! I'll marry you Gaara! Yes! I love you so much!"

Gaara smiled with a tear falling from his eyes with happiness as the crowd cheered for them loud, Naruto being the loudest along with Okami and Imako's howls.

Mika pulled away and kissed Gaara full on the lips not caring if everyone was watching and if the fireworks were finally going off in the sky behind them. Gaara kissed her back with fierce passion and lifted her up in his arms carrying her off the platform. Temari rushed over to them with Shikamaru at her side, "Oh my god! I can't believe it! You're gonna be my new step-sister! Yay!"

Mika grinned and just held onto Gaara tighter, "This is the happiest day of my life"

Gaara smirked, "Just wait until our wedding day"

Temari cackled, "And the honeymoon"

Mika laughed but then thought of something, "Hey. Where'd Kankuro go? I thought he was over here a while ago"

Temari moved away for them to see Kankuro behind them a ways away making out with Sakura underneath the fireworks away from prying eyes. Except for Mika, Gaara and Temari's that is. Mika laughed but had Gaara put his attention back at her, "Hey. Let's go to my apartment huh?"

"But what about Naruto?"

Mika looked over to where Sasuke was standing by Naruto with his arm around his shoulders, "I think he'll be just fine"

With that Gaara and Mika left the scene as quick as a flash of lightning, leaving the night behind them.

The next morning Mika woke up in the arms of her new fiancé. She cuddled into his warm body and laid her head on his naked chest watching him breathe as he slept, his chest moving up and down slowly signaling he surely was still asleep. Mika smiled at him and gazed at the ring Gaara had given her, 'It's so beautiful'

She stretched out on him and got up as silently as possible, sure not to wake him up, 'I can't believe Sakura actually hooked up with Kankuro last night' she grinned, 'I knew they'd make a good couple'

She walked over to the bathroom and got showered and dressed only to come out and see Gaara was still sleeping, 'Well I don't want to wake him. I'll take a walk and come back to wake him up'

With that she left a note by the bed saying what she was doing and left the apartment.

'I wonder where Okami and Imako went off to last night? I didn't mean to just leave them like that but I just got so caught up in the emotions!'

Suddenly as she went by the bridge, she caught a scent and turned to see Sasuke hanging his head over the side of the bridge as if he were thinking. She was curious and walked over to him, "Hey Sasuke!"

The Uchiha snapped to look at her, surprised at her presence and nodded to her, "Hey. Congratulations"

Mika raised an eyebrow, "Well that was half-hearted. What's wrong, Uchiha? By the way where's my brother? He didn't come home last night"

Sasuke left out a small laugh, "I invited him, Okami and Imako to spend the night with me last night since you and Gaara took up your apartment last night with weird 'activities'"

Mika blushed, "Hey now! Gaara and I don't have sex ALL the time!"

Sasuke held his hand over his ear, "hey! I don't want to hear it!"

Mika rolled her eyes, "Yeah like you've never had sex before!"

Sasuke just stared away from her and Mika suddenly felt bad, "Shit. You haven't have you?"

He just shook his head, "And going to that party last night only made everything worse. Seeing everyone with their significant other. It just reminded me of how lonely I am"

Mika placed a hand on his shoulder, "You're not alone Sasuke. So many people are happy you're back. Especially Naruto"

Sasuke looked away sharply and Mika smiled at his childish attitude.

"I know you're in love with my brother, Sasuke"

The Uchiha growled at her, "You don't understand! All my life up until I saw Naruto again at Orochimaru's hideout in the land of grass I thought I had always been in love with you! I'm so confused. I don't know what to think of Naruto. He's always been there for me. Naruto's my best friend but I can't help but to feel love for him. Not romantic love but just . . . love. Is that weird?"

Mika shook her head and leaned on the bridge rail with him.

"If you feel that way then just tell him. He's not going to kill you!"

"Do you even know you're brother?"

Sasuke scoffed at her, "He'll freak out as soon as I tell him and avoid me for the rest of our lives."

Mika sighed, "Look. You're just hurting yourself by keeping your feelings locked up inside like you! You need to just tell him! He'll understand. I promise. And trust me. Naruto feels the same. But you know how he is with emotions. You're both just stubborn idiots."

With that before Sasuke could retort, Mika slapped him on the back, "But look I better go. Gaara's probably awake by now. I'm gonna go on back home. When you see and talk to Naruto tell him he can come back home now"

Sasuke only nodded and sighed as he started to leave the bridge only to see Naruto himself running over from the opposite end, "Hey guys! How's it going?!"

He got up to them and grinned at Mika, "Hey congrats sis! I knew you and Gaara would tie the knot soon!"

Mika laughed and smile, "yeah well listen Naruto. Sasuke's got something to say to you. I gotta get back to the apartment to see Gaara. Have fun you two! See ya later!" and with that she vanished with a flash of lightning.

Sasuke growled and glared at the spot she disappeared from and Naruto only seemed confused, "What was all that about? Sasuke? What did you want to talk about?"

Mika hid on top of a nearby roof watching as Naruto and Sasuke began speaking to one another. She used her great hearing to listen in on them. She knew it was wrong but she just couldn't help herself.

Sasuke rubbed the back of his head with his hand, "Uh. Look Naruto. This is really hard for me to say."

Naruto seemed confused, "Well what is it? What's wrong Sasuke? Is everything alright?"

Sasuke cleared his throat, "Uh yeah! Everything's fine it's just . . ."

Naruto stared at him and Sasuke was losing his will to say anything at all, 'What if he hates me if I tell him?! I can't go through with that! Mika's insane!'

He clenched his eyes shut and shook his head, looking away, looking as if he gave up.

Naruto narrowed his eyes at him, "Sasuke. Just tell me alright?"

"I can't!"

"Why not?! What's so important that it's making you act like this?! Is it because of Sakura getting together with Kankuro last night? Look I know you like her and all but-"

Sasuke gave up. He just gave up and went for it.

Mika almost squealed as Sasuke grabbed Naruto by his shirt and pulled him in to a hug. Naruto's eyes shot open wide and he stilled in surprise. Sasuke suddenly shot away from him and let out a breath he hadn't known he had been holding. He looked away from Naruto who still held that surprised look on his face.

Naruto trembled, 'Sasuke. . He just hugged me! He's never hugged me before'

Sasuke's thoughts were pretty much the same, 'I hugged Naruto! Dammit he's going to hate me!'

Sasuke was deterred from Naruto's silence and looked away, clenching his teeth, "Look. Naruto I'm sorry. It's just that I don't know how to express my feelings all that well. I love you like a brother. I'm sorry. I'll understand if you don't want to be around me anymore-"

Naruto grabbed Sasuke by the back of his neck and pulled him in to hug him again. Sasuke gasped but hugged back in full force.

They broke apart and Mika just wanted to scream, 'Dammit!'

Naruto grinned, "You're like a brother to me too, bastard. Why did you think I risked so much to get you back home?"

Sasuke stared at him and smiled before hugging Naruto again, "I love you Naruto"

Naruto just hugged him back, "I . . . I love you too Sasuke"

Mika waved her fists like crazy and ran back to her apartment in sheer disappointment and anger. When she opened the door to the apartment she nearly fell over and fainted at the scene before her. Gaara stood with his arms crossed against his naked chest (with pants on) and stared at her, "Mika. Where exactly have you been? I woke up to the door closing and read your note. You've been gone for over two hours."

Mika sighed, "Oh I just went out for a walk. Saw Sasuke and got him and Naruto to make up. How's your morning been?"

Gaara smirked, "Lonely without my little fiancé around. Why don't you come in here and I'll show you just how lonely I've been?"

Mika blushed, "Okay"

Ten years later . . .

Things had changed dramatically.

For starters, Mika finally came to the resolve that her brother and Sasuke weren't gay when Naruto married Hinata and had two children, Boruto and Himawari.

It took a while but Sasuke finally found feelings for Sakura and they married and had a daughter, Sarada. Sakura and Kankuro had had a fling for a while but realized that they weren't for each other. So Kankuro got together with Matsuri, Gaara's old student. Together they had a son named Gankona.

Temari had married Shikamaru and had a son, Shikadai who is always forced to do as his mother says but is spoiled rotten by his uncles.

Imako had chosen to stay with Kurenai and her now grown up daughter to guard her at all times and become her Ninja Wolf to protect her in missions. Okami on the other hand, had decided that he would stay with Mika and her pups.

That's right. A few months after Gaara and Mika married, they found out they were having children. Their son, Minato is now nine years old while their daughter, Karura is now seven. They live in Suna and every weekend they all go to Konoha to visit family. Mika loves her niece and nephew, although her nephew can be a bit of a troublemaker like his father. Sarada, however, seems to keep him in line. It's all too funny.

Mika's kids, Minato and Karura look just like their parents. Minato has deep red hair like his father and blue eyes while Karura has wild lighter red hair like her mother's and turquoise eyes like her father. She couldn't love them more. Neither could Okami.

Naruto had finally become Hokage and Sasuke had left as soon as Sarada was born for a very long mission that required only his attention. Only Mika knew everything that Sasuke was up to since she met up with him from time to time to give him the newest pictures and news of his wife and daughter.

Sasuke would always smile and thank her for all that she's done for him. Ever since the end of the war, everything as finally at peace. There were no battles, arguments or anger between the five great nations anymore.

But things weren't about to stay so peaceful for long.
