The Shelby and the Saleen

Author's Note: Hello again! It's OtakuGirl/GirlWhoLovesAnime! Black Dragon asked me to write this chapter for her. But due to me having personal problems and of course moving I haven't had the time to write this. But Now I do so I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

The Shelby and the Raptor

It's been a month since the wild party at the Mystic Stars Night Club. Almost everyone was laughing as they watched the video of KITT dancing while drunk with three femmes. KITT still couldn't remember all that he did that night and didn't want to remember. Ratchet called him in the Medbay afterwards for a checkup and realized that the A.I wasn't a little sparkling anymore. Seeing as how photos of him and the three femmes on a berth showed up in his office, and they looked like they weren't playing kiddie games either. The young A.I felt so embarrassed that he just wanted to hide. He asked Ratchet if him sleeping with those femmes got them pregnant in a way. To quell his fears Ratchet explained the Cybertronian version of the Birds and the Bees to him. Needless to say, KITT was shocked but glad nothing happened to result in a sparkling. When he got back to FLAG Michael gave him a note that was from the three femmes Stinger, Viper, and Starlight. It was an electronic note and played when he pressed a button.

"Dear KITT,

Thank you for hanging out with us and for giving us a wonderful time that we'll never forget. We hope to have some fun again soon!

Stinger, Viper and Starlight.

Everyone in FLAG either giggled, blushed, or downright laughed. Katie and Lisa snickered at the fun time he must've gotten. It was this day KITT decided to never go to clubs again.

Right now the members of FLAG, the Autobots, and some of the NEST personnel were outside of Nevada waiting on an incoming Cybertronian Signal. It was supposed to land in this exact spot they were on. KITT wondered who was arriving and asked Optimus.

"Who is supposed to be showing up again?"

"That I don't know, the transmission I received was full of static. All I know is that his name is Dinobot."

"Dinobot? So there's another of the Dinobots around?" asked Michael.

"No, his name IS Dinobot. I don't know if he's an Autobot or Decepticon but we'll find out soon." Said Optimus.

A few minutes later a metallic meteorite fell to Earth and slammed into the ground a few yards away from where everyone was standing. After the smoke cleared it started to unravel itself and stand on two hind legs. When everyone saw what it was it looked like a Velociraptor, almost as tall as Ironhide. It chirped and snarled at them, thinking they were a threat until Optimus calmed it down.

"It's alright, we're not going to hurt you. Are you Dinobot?"

It blinked and tilted its head, then nodded. Will took a good look at it and raised an eyebrow. "I don't get it, its name is Dinobot. But it's one of the Dinobots?"

"Okay, this is confusing..." said Michael. "Maybe we can just call it Dino for short?"

"Everyone? I don't think that's a Dinobot." Sarah pointed to an unusual marking on its chest, it looked like a saber tooth cat but mixed with some kind of primitive animal. The others looked and saw the marking also. "I don't remember Grimlock and the others having that kind of mark."

Wheeljack pulled out a data pad and did a quick search on the mark. What he found was surprising. "Oh my Primus! That's a Maximal! I thought they were Extinct!"

"What's a Maximal?" asked Ironhide. As if on cue it snarled again and transformed into its bipedal form. It spoke with a British accent. "As you can see, I am not extinct. My name is Dinobot and I am a Maximal. I was a former Predacon but I did not like how the Predacon King did things, so I switched sides."

Wheeljack was even more amazed that he could speak. He walked closer to him. "Amazing... I didn't know Maximals could speak! This is unreal!"

"I'm a little confused here, what exactly are Maximals?" asked Will.

"And what are Predacons?" asked Zoe.

Wheeljack started explaining what they were. "Maximals are special Mechanimals that are able to transform and use certain powers. Their beast forms somewhat resembled Earth's animals at the time. Mostly the mammals. Predacons however resembled reptilian or insect-like animals. The most famous Predacons were the ones that resembled the Mythological Dragons. There's not much history on them but apparently they were in a war for land and reserves. Most of the species either fled from battle or became extinct. Cybertron's various fauna are closely related to the two species, you could say they were cousins."

Everyone took a moment to let that sink in. KITT walked closer to Dinobot and looked at him, he may look like one of the Dinobots but on closer inspection he was clearly a Predacon, as his Maximal marking hid traces of the Predacon mark. "You are clearly a Predacon, so why switch sides when Predacons are a species, and not of a faction?"

Dinobot sighed and lightly shook his helm. "I didn't agree with what Predaking was doing at the time, so I became a Maximal and fought against him. True I am a Predacon at spark but I feel more at home with the Maximals. Which is why I have my current marking."

"Well that makes more sense." said Ironhide. "Are there any others with you?"

"Sadly, no. Most of my friends were offlined eons ago. There are very few of us Maximals and Predacons left. I highly doubt even Predaking is no longer existing..."

"Wait hold up, Wheeljack said that some Predacons resembled Dragons. So can they breathe fire?" asked Michael.

Dinobot looked down at the human and nodded. "Yes, that is correct. Some members of my former kind can breathe fire. But it's mostly the draconic Predacons that are able to do so. I for one cannot."

Billy crossed his arms and looked up at Optimus. "Then how do you explain Grimlock being able to breathe fire? He's not a Predacon, is he?"

Optimus thought for a moment and lightly shook his helm. "No, he isn't a Predacon. But I believe he might be a descendant of them. Wheeljack didn't Dinobots emerge a few eons ago after the Maximals and Predacons disappeared?"

"Yeah, they did. Along with other Mechanimals." The Mech shrugged as his sidebars changed different colors. "Maybe Grimlock is descended from one of them that was able to breathe fire. I don't have much records of the event."

Dinobot looked at Wheeljack. "Dinobots? Are they Predacons also?"

"Nope! Completely different! Would you like to meet them?" he asked.

"Sure. But first, what planet am I on? Everything seems so organic."

Zoe clapped her hands and grinned up at Dinobot. "You're on Earth! Home of all kinds of Organic stuff, like us humans!"

Dinobot raised an eyebrow ridge and looked around, frowning a little. "Not that impressive for a planet..." He walked past everyone and transformed into his Velociraptor forme again, sniffing around at his new surroundings. Sarah narrowed her eyes at him, not liking that tone he used to describe Earth. "What's up with him?"

Michael shrugged. "Maybe he doesn't like organic things?"

"Well, hopefully he'll get along with the Dinobots... Alright men, back to NEST Base!" Will and the others walked back to the huge plane they arrived in, with the Autobots transforming and driving up the plane. Optimus led Dinobot to the plane so he could get on board, albeit with a little snarling at the other humans that tried to tie him down, for safety of course. KITT transformed into his Mustang form and let everyone inside before driving off, deciding to meet the rest of the NEST crew there.

KITT and the members of FLAG made it to NEST just as the plane was landing. Letting out his passengers and transforming, KITT and the others watched as Dinobot surveyed his surroundings, sometimes sniffing at something that made him curious. Will and Epps walked up to them as they kept watch over their new arrival. "Think he likes it here?" asked Epps.

"Doubt it. He kept snapping at us when we tried tying him down with the safety belts." said Will.

"Well, here comes the Dinobots. Since they're distant cousins maybe he'll like them." said Billy.

Optimus called the Dinobots to meet their new arrival. Grimlock, Strife, Swoop, Snarl, Slag and Sludge came out of the building in their Dino forms and greeted Dinobot. Grimlock transformed and held out a clawed servo. "Me Grimlock! Leader of Dinobots! What's your name?"

Dinobot transformed and looked at them closely. He saw the T-Rex's outstretched servo and took it, but didn't shake it. "I am called Dinobot, Dino for short."

Grimlock shook his servo a little roughly and laughed. "HAHA! You have same name as us! Grimlock find that funny!"

Dinobot resisted the urge to roll his optics. "Yes, it's something isn't it...?"

Sludge grinned and patted his shoulder. "Me Sludge! Sludge happy to meet fellow Dinobot!"

"That is where you're mistaken... Sludge. I am a Maximal, former Predacon. I am in no way a Dinobot."

Sludge tilted his helm, a little confused. "Um... Dinobot not a Dinobot but Dinobot's name is Dinobot? Sludge confused."

"He's Maximal. Not Dinobot." said Strife.

"But that's Dinobot's name! How can Dinobot be a Dinobot if Dinobot isn't a Dinobot?"

Snarl folded his arms and frowned, not getting what Sludge was saying. "So Dinobot's name isn't Dinobot but he is a Dinobot? Snarl don't get it."

"Wait, Dinobot's name is Maximal?" asked Slag.

Swoop held her head and groaned. "Ugh! Now Swoop's head hurts!"

The Dinobots seemed confused on the Maximal's name. So he carefully explained it to them. "Listen, My name is Dinobot BUT I am not a species of Dinobot. I am a Maximal. I was born a Predacon but switched sides eons ago. I may look like one of you but I'm not. You all following me?"

The Dinobots took a moment to process that information and they all nodded, finally understanding. "So Dinobot not Dinobot but Maximal. Right?" asked Sludge. Dinobot nodded and pointed to his chest, where the Maximal symbol was. The Dinobots looked at it and stored the image in their processors so they can remember it. Grimlock lightly punched Dinobot, almost causing him to fall over. "Me Grimlock understands now! Welcome to Earth Dino!"

Dinobot chuckled. Just from speaking with them did he realize that their intelligence level wasn't as advanced as his, but as long as they knew what he was it didn't matter. "Thank you Grimlock. Care to show me around base?"

"Sure! Follow Grimlock!" Dinobot followed them as they showed him around NEST Base. Everyone there had dumb struck looks on their faces. Ironhide rubbed his helm and closed his optics. "Now my helm hurts from Sludge's confusion..."

"Mine too... But at least he's friends with them." said Wheeljack.

"Maybe he can keep them in line, seeing as how he's the most sophisticated Dinobot here." said Optimus.

"You mean Maximal." said KITT.

"Uh, right. What did I say?"

"You said Dinobot."

Optimus facepalmed and headed in the other direction. "Now I'm getting confused..."

...

For the next hour Grimlock showed their new friend Dinobot around the base. From the Rec Room to the Training area specialty built for the Dinobots. Dino liked the Training area; it was huge and spacious for them to run around in. Plus he felt the need to just let his wild side loose. He transformed into his Maximal form and started running around and thrashing the place. The other Dinobots decided to join in on the fun and also transformed, trashing up everything as they either wrestled each other or caused unnecessary damage. Dino even went as far as to slash up the walls and destroy the training equipment, to which the Dinobots happily followed suit. Some of the Autobots weren't happy when they did that, and they had to clean up their mess.

Dino was still feeling wild so he and Grimlock decided to chase some of the human solders around. He liked the fact that they were terrified of him and kept up the chase, until Optimus put a stop to their behavior and reminded the Maximal of their rules. One of them is not chasing/harming the humans. Dino didn't get why he couldn't chase them, but the look in the Autobot leader's face told him that he shouldn't do it again.

Dino then decided to mess with KITT by nipping his rear end. The poor A.I had to run and hide when Dino, joined by Slag, chased him around the base. Of course they had to run themselves when Slag accidently nipped the wrong bot's rear, which was Ratchet's, and they had to hide from an angry wrench-throwing Mech.

Grimlock and the rest of the Dinobots showed him where they stayed at. It was a huge room that they hung out in and had 6 other rooms that the Dinobots go in to recharge. Since there were no other private rooms available, Grimlock suggested that the Maximal room in with him. Dino in all honestly didn't want to room with the Dinobot leader, his room was big enough yes but it was too messy for him. Dino asked if he could room with Swoop, since her room was a nice size for both of them to share. (And wasn't messy) Swoop was happy to except for Strife. Her brother is overprotective of his sister and didn't want the Maximal near her. Dino remarked that she can take care of herself and didn't need a babysitter. That got him a punch to the face and suddenly the two started fighting. Swoop broke it up and told her brother that she didn't need protecting all the time and allowed Dino into her room. Sludge, Snarl, Slag and Grimlock snickered at how Strife was acting, with the Dinobot leader telling him to relax. And that he can keep an optic on her.

Right now they were playing video games on the huge TV they had in their room. Thanks to Epps, Sam, Miles, Michael, and Billy teaching them how to play. Grimlock and Dino were playing Street Fighter V, with Grimlock playing as Ryu and Dino as Ken. The Maximal never hearing of Video games before got the gist of it when Slag explained it to him. And now he was beating up Grimlock's character, badly. The game ended when Ken KO'ed Ryu with an Uppercut, causing Grimlock to lose and Dino to win. The Dinobot leader threw his controller on the ground and cursed.

"Shit... Me Grimlock loose..."

"5th win for me. Hehe, nice game Grimlock."

Grimlock grinned and patted Dino's shoulder. "This one of Grimlock's favorite games! Dino like it too?"

Dino nodded. "I have to say I really do like this game. What's it called again?"

"Street Fighter V! Epps got it for us to play!"

"Hm, this game is good for studying combat techniques. Don't you think so?"

Grimlock looked back at the screen and tilted his head. "Grimlock never thought about it like that... Me like that!" He grinned at Dino, who smiled back at him. Sludge then came in and sat on the big couch with a remote in his hand. "Sludge wanna watch Jurassic Park, Grimlock and Dino done with game?"

"OOH! Me Grimlock love that movie!" He turned off the PS4 and sat on the couch with the other Dinobots that came in. Dino tilted his head and stood up walking over and sitting down. "Tell me, what is this 'Jurassic Park'?"

"A Dinosaur movie!" exclaimed Swoop. "Organic Dinosaurs chase humans and trash up everything! Fun to watch too!"

"Dinosaurs look like us Dinobots." said Strife, who was sitting between his sister and Dino.

"Hm... I'll watch it then. Sounds interesting." said Dino.

Sludge tuned to the station that was movie was playing on. As they watched the movie Dino couldn't help but notice how the Velociraptors were acting. They hunted the humans and other dinosaurs in packs but didn't have coordinated teamwork. They just attacked anything willy nilly without much planning and thought. As a Velociraptor himself this bothered him and he voiced his opinion on it.

"Why didn't the Velociraptors plan ahead? If they did they wouldn't have been outsmarted by the human scientists. It seems like they're just attacking anything and everything without consequence."

Slag shrugged and kept watching. "Slag don't know. Me Slag thinks those Velociraptors glitched."

"They must be. I mean, look at that poor teamwork! Sparklings could do better than that! If they don't be careful something bad could happen to them."

Grimlock chuckled and pointed to the TV. "Me Grimlock thinks Dino should watch this part closely."

Dino focused his attention back to the movie. As he watched the Velociraptors chase and corner the human sparklings along with another scientist he watched in shock as a huge Tyrannosaurus Rex smashed through the wall and grabbed one of the raptors, effortlessly chomping and swallowing it whole then going after the others, which gave the humans time to escape the Island. When the movie was over Sludge and Snarl cheered, except for Dino who looked disappointed. Snarl got up and grinned at the Maximal.

"Dino like movie?"

Dino shook his helm. "It was interesting, but I didn't like how the Velociraptors acted throughout the movie. As one of them I have keen senses and would've sensed the T-Rex coming and dodged the incoming attack." He sighed and crossed his arms. "I think they were born with some sort of Glitch."

The other Dinobots looked at each other. Then Swoop patted his shoulder and smiled. "As long as Dino enjoyed movie then Dino like it right?"

Dino smiled at her. "Yes, I liked it. Other than how those raptors irked me I enjoyed the movie."

They all grinned and started yawning. Grimlock stretched and headed to his room. "Me Grimlock sleepy now… Night Dinobots! Night Dino!"

"Goodnight Grimlock." Said Dino.

"Night Boss!" said the Dinobots.

The others headed into their rooms to sleep. Dino was walking into Swoop's room when Strife blocked his way. He stared at the Maximal for a few minutes before speaking. "If Strife find out Dino did naughty things with Swoop,-" He extended his claws and growled at him. "Strife show no mercy to Dino."

Dino only looked at him and shrugged. "I promise I won't do a thing to your sister. I have manners and respect you know."

Strife only huffed and stomped to his room. Dino rolled his optics and felt himself being pulled by Swoop towards her room. Once inside he found out that she made a homemade berth for him to recharge in. "This Dino's berth! Swoop made it all by herself!"

"Thank you Swoop, you shouldn't had done that." Dino smiled at her and she blushed a little.

"Swoop thinks that Dino is nice and awesome~ Hehe..." She crawled in her berth and let out a big yawn while stretching. Dino got a chance to look at her carefully, for a Dinobot she was pretty to look at. And he wouldn't have minded to share a berth with her, but he had morals and so chose to sleep in his own berth.

"Goodnight Swoop."

"G'night Dino! Sweet dreams!"

...

The next day Dino felt something rubbing on his arm. As he slowly woke up from recharge he noticed that his arm was caught on something. Turning his helm he saw Swoop hugging his arm and snuggling up against him sound asleep. He chuckled and nuzzled her gently to wake her.

"Had a good sleep there?" he asked. Swoop yawned and rubbed her optics in a sleepy way. "Swoop wanted to recharge with Dino... Sorry if Swoop woke up Dino."

The Maximal shook his head. "It's alright dear. How come you didn't ask though? I'm just curious."

"Um… Swoop don't know." Swoop blushed a little and hid her face in his arm, which made him laugh. "I'm guessing you're shy around new Mechs. Unless… it's just me you're shy around?" Dino leaned in close to her face and smirked at her. Swoop's face turned even darker as she started giggling and hiding her face. She punched his arm that she was holding on to. "Dino a tease! Haha!"

"Hehe, I'm sorry. Couldn't help but tease you."

Swoop snuggled closer to Dino and shut her optics, then being bold, decided to nuzzle his face. Dino nuzzled her back and sighed a little. She reminded him of his fellow Maximals who offlined eons ago. After a battle they would all huddle up together and either groom each other or sleep. That thought caused him to hug her close to him for comfort. Swoop didn't mind the extra affection and kept nuzzling him. They were so focused on each other that the Dinobot and Maximal didn't notice someone come in only for them to stutter in shock and accidently knock over something. Both of them looked up to see the blushing face of KITT, who quickly looked away and struggled to speak.

"U-u-ummm…. S-sorry to d-disturb you t-two but… Grimlock w-wanted me to-to wake you two up…. Um… I'M SORRY FOR INTERRUPTING! I DIDN'T SEE A THING!"

KITT quickly ran out of the room, blushing all the way. Dino and Swoop looked at his retreating form and looked at each other with confused looks on their faces.

"Why was he acting like that?" asked Dino.

Swoop only shrugged. "Me Swoop thinks KITT weird."

"I have to agree on that… Oh well, shall we go get breakfast?"

"Yeah! Swoop starving!"

Dino and Swoop got up and stretched, then headed towards the Rec Room for some meat-flavored energon. KITT meanwhile was sitting outside under a tree with a shocked/embarressed look on his face. Ironhide was walking by when he saw him and also saw that his armor was red. "Hey KITT, you alright?"

He lightly shook his helm and buried his face in his hands. "...I will be... Once I get the image of Dino and Swoop out of my memory banks..."

Ironhide decided not to comment on that and continued on his way, a light blush on his own face.
