A/N: Okay, so this had to be posted during the week because: I had to work on an English paper and I also have to get ready for my birthday party, which is coming up soon :D So basically I'm saying that these updates are starting to get irregular…and I have been seriously considering posting a third story (like I need another story to worry about!) Okay, anyways, on with the story!
"I already told you, I'm fine. I just have this annoying ringing in my ear." The Doctor said again. He was getting more annoyed about the League than the ringing in his ears. And neither appeared to be going away anytime soon.
"You should've told us the truth." Batman fumed. When Batman finally got back he was ready to beat the Doctor to a bloody pulp.
"Oh yes, because telling you all the reason why it should've gone wrong would have done a world of good!" The Doctor said sarcastically. "And speaking of a world of good, have I mentioned how wonderful it is to have a world filled with superheroes? Certainly makes my job a lot easier."
"And what of the Master? How do we defeat him and the Daleks?" J'onn asked.
"Ah, yes! Good, J'onn! Finally getting back on track!" The Doctor exclaimed.
"If you stopped rambling for five minutes we could have a plan figured out by now!" Flash said, a little peeved.
"Well, things with the Master can get tricky, and normally I'd suggest some investigating through time and space, but the TARDIS really shouldn't do that. So, the best thing to do right now is let him make the first move." The Doctor explained.
"So we do nothing." Batman stated.
"For now, yes. We don't have much of a choice."
***With The Master***
God, were these people boring.
Luthor could at least hold up a decent conversation, but the Master could only take so much of the human. The Injustice League was currently waiting the Master for the Joker and the Daleks, but so far it seemed the Joker wasn't going to show.
From what the Master had learned of the villains, they would be useful in some ways as far as what the Master had planned. He certainly understood why the Daleks kept these pawns around. Of course, if the Master was able to get the Daleks off his back, then the Injustice Leaguers would be his pawns.
He just needed the Daleks to hurry up so he could get started! But it wouldn't be that easy, even for him, because these superpowered freaks weren't all that stupid. If he wasn't careful, the Doctor would have no trouble turning it against him. And then there was the Justice League giving some much needed muscle to the Doctor…
Well, at least things wouldn't be boring.
A beeping, loud and annoying, pierced through the room, signaling the Master's return. Finally, the fun could begin!
"Looks like I finally get to leave! And don't forget to tell the Joker about the plans, whenever he shows up. Though I'd love to meet him in person. I have a feeling we'd get along very well…" No one bothered to say anything as he left. The just wanted the stupid alien gone.
"Tel-e-por-ta-tion off-line." A Dalek announced.
"Great to be back." He said sarcastically. "Now that I'm done running your errands, I suspect you have something better for me to do. Something Doctor related?"
"We will fir-st launch the in-va-sion." A Dalek informed.
"Invasion? Of Earth?" The Master asked. Quite a daring move, considering two Time Lords would be hanging around it.
"Not of Ear-th." A Dalek stated.
"Oh?"
"We will in-vade the en-ti-re un-i-verse and ex-ter-min-ate all life!" It called out.
"EXTERMINATE!"
"EXTERMINATE!"
"EXTERMINATE!"
"Exterminate, we get it, that's all you tin cans ever do." The Master rolled his eyes. "Now what do I get to do?"
"You will keep the Doc-tor from in-ter-ven-ing!" It commanded.
"Which is why you have me playing with the super freaks, I got that." Could these things get any more annoying? Probably…
"You will wait un-til you are gi-ven or-ders!"
"You don't tell me what to do!" The Master barked. He had already figured out a couple ways to kill off all the Daleks on this ship. Sadly, most of them included the Master dying with them, but there was always room for improvement.
While the Daleks were distracted planning their invasion, the Master got his chance to sneak over to some of the paneling along the wall. Carefully and quietly opening it, he found a few wires he was looking for. Things were finally tipping back in his favor.
Some electricity sparked as he shut off the lights and bolted out of the room. It tool exactly 3.289 seconds for the lights to come on, and that was enough time to make a beeline for an escape pod.
Judging by the control room, this battleship is one of the personal guards of the mother ship. The coordinate on the map suggests this ship is in the southernmost sector of the barricade surrounding it. The room I first awoke in was on the opposite end of the medical bay, which means if I go right and down to the eastern most door, the escape pods should be there.
The Master thought all of this as he ran. Time Lords were able to understand the layout of any battle ship during the Time War, and it seems the Daleks had kept the similar designs. Perfect.
Now, if everything was the same, then-!
Yes! He ripped open the doors to the pod just before the Daleks' security protocols were enacted.
Even without a laser screw driver, attacking the Daleks' systems was an easy task. And since all the escape pods were connected to the ships mainframe, it was only that much easier to get the Daleks in a frenzy. Messing with the controls, he was able to force the escape pod to launch, and may have rigged the others to blow.
The last thing he saw before he hit light speed was a few explosions going off on the ship.
I'm coming for you, Doctor.
