Chapter 53

The Trail

"Ah finally, some piece and quiet for once…"

Dalaam, noon…

"So Mike enough about me and what I do here what about you, I mean you've been asking me questions for the last hour now" Poo said to Mike while walking through one of the Dalaam Palace's highly decorated halls.

"About what…" Mike replied.

"You're past mainly. For as much as you talk about yourself, you don't let anyone know what truly goes on inside that head of yours" Poo replied back.

"That's because my mind and true thoughts are something not to ever be exposed."

"Why is that? What could be so overpowering or so devastating that it couldn't be exposed?"

"Do you want to have a look like Paula did?" Mike inquired Poo as Poo's mind went back to Saturn Valley. He saw Paula's condition after she looked into Mike's mind. It almost destroyed her from the inside out. Not even the most powerful psychic on Earth could withstand it, and what made Poo think he could withstand such a Pandora's Box.

"No, but my question is, how could you a peek into your mind have done that to her? She should have even been able to withstand your Mental Ascension Fate easily. Her mind's power is on par with yours, so what did it?"

"You said Katrina could use dragon techniques like I can right?"

"Yeah."

"Ask her once she gets a good look at me" Mike said as Katrina was walking by right at that moment.

"Brother Poo, I heard my name, what is going o… YAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! What monster is this boy!" Katrina howled as she started to slowly back up in fear of Mike.

"What's wrong Katrina? This is Michael. The red-head I was telling you about who is also the Horseman of Time" Poo replied while he raced over to his sister trying to console her.

"His aura, it scares me. He has the spiritual chains that Star Master and father described wrapped all around it and slacked to his body. But that's not it, his aura is constantly changing colors and swirling about his body like pure chaos. Black to green, to white, to yellow, to red, I see those colors shifting every second. Mother told me only great beasts and monsters had auras like that. It was a sign of pure evil and destruction" Katrina explained while trying to run away, but he would not let her out of his arms.

Poo could not believe what he just heard though, "Mike, does she speak the truth?"

"Like I said, ask your sister and you would get your answer. Mental Ascension is more than just increasing my mental capacities. It is the only way I can control this aura your sister sees swirling around me, by enhancing my own mental powers. When Paula tapped Mental Ascension, she started to release the restrains as well to see why my aura was restrained as such. She found out why quickly enough. It allows this aura to break free and I lose control of it after a while. Usually, I collapse from the strain and my aura calms down as a side effect. That's what caused her physical harm. Not the mental strain but the spiritual strain, as my powers went up, so did hers. She cut the connection when it became too much for her. I only became extremely hyper at that level. I'm sure Paula really got a shock from it. She had no experience in handling an amplified spirit like mine, and I'm guaranteeing that her spirit went up like mine did and went out of control.

"If you ask me why I have such a chaotic aura, I cannot give you that answer. I have no clue why I was born like this, but I learned how to contain and release it as I got older. Granted, I also had no developed powers then as well. So as a kid, Mental Ascension was only that. It raised the abilities of my senses and reaction time. But when I used it for that first time once I realized my powers, you can imagine the effect it had on my opponent" Mike said as Poo could only imagine what happened to the first thing Paula touched at that moment.

"Mike, the problem is all of our folklore and legends say that those who have spirits like yours are omens of doom and destruction. That is why Katrina is scared right now" Poo explained as Katrina was shyly standing behind her brother shaking her head up and down slowly confirming what Poo had said. "As you could imagine if this got out to my people, they would be quite afraid of you."

"Then we'll just to see what evil run through my veins then. What is it about me that would cause such destruction. Is it because I'm the Horseman of Time and we are 'supposed' to lose the final battle because I'm that omen. Is it that this world will fall because of my appearance? That I could possibly turn on everyone and be the cause of it all" Mike started to grin evilly.

"You're starting to scare me, Mike" Poo said backing up himself.

"Let's prove this once and for all. 'Only a dragon can read a dragon', that is what Shadow told me. Poo, you absolutely sure that Katrina is capable of dragon level powers like I am. Because if she is, she can withstand the energy flow from my hands" Katrina backup just a little more once Mike had finished what he had to say.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Poo asked.

"Katrina can read my heart's desire as well as my mind's desire if she touches my hand. Our energies will interlace and tell each other everything about one another. It is a task only two beings with dragon class powers can accomplish" Mike answered. "I can see she doesn't trust me though. Understood."

Mike slowly started to take his quiver off his back and set it on the ground parallel to his body of the floor. He then pulled his Eden Sword from the quiver and lied it down. "Katrina, listen closely. I… in no way, shape, or form… want to endanger this world or anyone on it. And, I also understand that you fear me which I completely understand. I want you to put your hand on mine and read my every desire, and tell me if I'm a danger to this world. There is nothing more pure and righteous than the heart of a child, and I want you, child, to be my judge and jury. If I'm not the bad omen your legends and myths describe, then I just want you to trust me so no doubt will ever be cast upon my true intentions ever again. If I am, I want you or Poo to slay me with the very sword you see before me!" Mike firmly said as he had his eyes pierce Katrina's.

"Are you crazy, Mike! You have proven yourself time and time again that you are the one who is to lead the Horsemen of Light. I trust you, Ness does, Paula does, Jeff does, Ryan does, Nolan does, Dave does, Tom does, and Casie does! That's all you need. Why do this now? This is a fifty-fifty shot and you know it!" Poo yelled at Mike as he lifted Mike by his shirt and stared a piercing looking at Mike.

"Tell me, Poo, what have I done to prove myself? Can you tell me of one instance that I told you or anyone else of that has made me worthy of such respect by you all?" Poo had no answer for Mike. Mike had not said anything that lead him or anyone else to believe that he was the Horseman of Time. Only that the Apple of Enlightenment had decreed him as such.

"I see. He's making a classic move. He wants a child's purity to be his judge. If he cannot make a child trust him, Mike must be feeling that no one has the right to trust him. The Dalaam King Rota pulled this exact same stunt generations ago to prove the judgments he had made for this kingdom had no alterative motives. So, he had a small child of eight years of age listen to his reasoning, and gave him a week to think about it. The child came back and kneeled before the King, and said only two words 'Thank You'. Mike has now taken a kneeling position before Katrina with his left arm and hand stretched outward for her to accept. I'm worried though. She's still young, can she, like the boy, be such an impartial judge?" Poo thought to himself as he just looked on.

"Brother Poo, do not worry. I will judge him fairly." That is all Katrina said as she started to walk towards Mike methodically and soon took Mike's hand into her own.

Like Mike had said, she did not jump back from the usual shock most would get from having Mike touch them. His hands had energy flows that only a dragon could withstand, and Katrina proved herself a dragon right then and there. It was only a minute until Katrina withdrew her hand. "My God" she whispered to herself as she start to reach for Mike's sword.

"Katrina! What are you doing!" Poo said as Katrina slowly brought the sword over her head and started to swing down right for Mike.

"I'm sorry, Mike" she said as Mike closed his eyes and clenched his fists awaiting his fate.

"… Well, either she sliced me cleanly and I'm in Heaven or Hell, or I'm still alive" Mike thought to himself as he opened his eyes to see Katrina had completely missed him and put the sword right into the floor only inches away from his head.

"I didn't… I didn't… I didn't know!" she cried as she ran over to Mike and hugged him while crying. "I'm sorry, I didn't know… I didn't know that…" she started to repeat as she embraced Mike tightly.

"You didn't know what, Katrina" Poo asked his little sister while breathing a sigh of relief.

As Katrina was about to reply, Mike quickly interjected, "I don't know either, Poo. I think it is best only Katrina knows for right now. I do not want to know my own deepest desires right now. I'm not ready, and I know it. Katrina, can you promise to never let me or anyone else know what you felt about me until the correct time?" Mike asked as Katrina started to let go of Mike and shook her head yes.

"Prince Poo, you have another visitor today!" one of the guards shouted down the hall.

"Oh crap! it's been that long already! Um… could you two just stay here while I properly welcome my guest?" Poo said as he hurriedly ran down the hall.

"Sure thing" Mike said while Poo was already gone. "Hey Katrina, thanks for not splitting me in two there, and remember what I told you though".

"Not to tell you what I felt, but there is no need for me to. You will shortly find out that answer for yourself. Your destiny awaits." Katrina said to Mike as she started to walk away.

"Or should I call you something else now, Black One" she thought to herself and smiled. "The best part is I now know the deepest secret hidden in that body and mind of yours. And soon, the angels will rise."

Chapter 54

The Meeting

"What did she mean my destiny awaits me?" Mike thought to himself as he got up and picked up his sword. "Thank you Katrina, I no longer have any doubts. Now time to see who Poo's guest is" he finished to himself as Mike sheathed his sword and ran off in the direction Poo headed in just a few moments ago.

At the front of the Dalaam Palace…

"I'm sorry I'm late, Poo. I got asked to do a favor if I meet up with someone here, so I got held up a bit" a girl's voice said as she quickly hugged Poo and then kissed him on the cheek.

"Not a problem, I got a little tied up as well with a surprise guest" Poo replied.

"Who?" the girl said as the sound of running footsteps started to be audible.

"Here he comes" Poo said as Mike quickly showed himself.

"Casie!" Mike said he was surprised in was Casie that was Poo's guest. Let alone that she still had her arm around him. "I didn't know that you two were an item. When? How?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Casie replied with a smirk on her face as she took her arm off Poo and slowly walked up to Mike. "Oh yeah, your mom is worried about you since you didn't come home last night and just vanished from Onett. She told me to give these to you" Casie said as she grabbed the backpack off her right shoulder and reached in. "These you help see straight again, and these should make sure you don't kill anyone when you touch them" she explained briefly as see pulled out a pair of gloves and a pair of glasses for Mike.

"Ah, my mom finally finished the new gloves I told her to make. These should be a lot better than the old pair" Mike said as he put the gloves on. They looked similar to baseball gloves. That is in comparison to the thin, flimsy pair he had last time that got sublimed when he fought Gorin. They could also give him a better grip on any weapon he held now. He then put the new pair of glasses on. They were thinner, lighter, and sleeker than the old pair as well. Not to mention one important fact, "I can actually see again. Thank God!" Mike celebrated.

"Hold it, you mean those glasses you had the last time weren't the right prescription?" Poo commented.

"Exactly, the old ones I had on were from three or four years ago. My eyes have gotten much worse since then so all I could see was very blurred light up until right now. Now I can see almost twenty-twenty now" Mike said as he adjusted his glasses. "I said almost because my right eye is pretty bad. I just go with the flow with this eye."

"You don't even need to fight with them on anyhow. You taught yourself how to read without those glasses on didn't you?" Casie interjected.

"Yeah, but having these things off for an extended period gives me headaches" Mike replied.

"You can fight with those things off!" Poo said.

"Yeah, I used to break my glasses and lose them so much when I was younger I had to learn to live like I was blind because I'm darn close to that anyhow, so it wasn't a big adjustment" Mike replied as he finally got his new glasses in a comfortable position.

"Well, I better get going now and leave you two alone. I wouldn't want to get in the way or anything" Mike said starting to walk out the door of the Dalaam Palace.

"Let me give you a little help then" Casie started to say as she pointed two of her fingers on her right hand in a shooting stance towards Mike. "Psi Titan Omega!", and with that, she blasted Mike right through the doorway and skyward.

"Mike's third psychic vulnerability Psi Titan Omega, also, the third thing his mother told me to give him, 'an ass whooping'" Casie explained as Poo's jaw dropped.

"Don't you think that was a little much? I mean he was about three hundred feet in the air by the time we lost sight of him" Poo questioned.

"He'll be fine. I know he's vulnerable to Titan, but it does not mean he feels the full brunt of the attack. His aura can reduce the power of any psychic ability that hits it. Even though some are so powerful, like Oblivion and Black Hole, that it doesn't make a difference. Against my Titan, it makes enough of a difference that it won't hurt him seriously" Casie explained.

"You've done that to him before haven't you. That's why you're confident that it won't do much to him" Poo sighed. "You two really do act like brother and sister."

"Yeah, we do don't we. I guess it comes with the territory of being friends for so long" Casie said with a slight sigh as she put arm back around Poo.

Meanwhile at the final Mu training grounds, a girl with long blonde hair in a martial arts clothing, the standard loose white, loose fitting clothing, sits and meditates. "It's been about six hours now and nothing has disturbed me yet. Usually someone comes by and I have to pick up and leave, since I'm technically not allowed here," she thought to herself with a slight sigh. A moment later, she heard a voice picking up in loudness cursing to itself. The odd part was that it seemed that the voice was coming from mid-air.

"Just great, I jinxed myself with that one," she thought as she slowly turned her head and saw a small figure rapidly going by.

"God damn you Casie! Why did you have to do that to me again? It's not like I did anything this time!" he was screaming as he started to descend.

"This looks like it's gonna hurt" the girl thought to herself as the boy started to approach the ground. "Let's you get out of this one, Mike". Right after that thought, the girl slowly got up and brushed herself off. She then grabbed a bag she had left behind her and started to search through it.

"Psi Northern Lights Alpha!" the boy screamed from a distance far enough from the girl that she could not hear him. The started to slow his descent to a crawl and started to float above the ground. "That was freaking close," he muttered to himself as he started to rise above the ground a bit more. "I thinking flying right now might be the best… option". His heavy breathing and sweat pouring down the side of his face made the relief he was now feeling and the panic he felt only a short while ago.

"Not bad Mike," the girl muttered to herself as she pulled out a mask, one side half drama and the other side half humor, and put it on. "I think it's time we finally meet".

As Mike started to slowly, and finally, come down to ground level, he caught a glimpse of just how close he was from being blown right off the mountains that Dalaam sat on. He did a slight gulp, "That was close. Fifty more meters and I'd be in deep trouble".

"Oh well, I least I came out of that one okay," he sighed, "Maybe now I can sit down and read some now". Mike calmly pulled off his quiver and started to search through, tossing out random stuff while looking. "Let's see, I don't need my skates right now, nor do I need my stuffed kitty cat. Don't need my helmet, I'm not hungry so the wafers here are out, same with the water. God, how long has that skip sandwich been in there? Ah, here it is" Mike said with glee as he pulled out his book and sat down Indian style and started to read where he left off. The title of the book was The Great Myths of the Greeks and Norse.

"I can't believe that he would show up right now. I would think that he was training or something right now. It does not seem like he's doing that though," the blonde said to herself as she jumped down from the final training area for Mu, all five hundred feet. She looked to her side as she gracefully landed to see Mike about five hundred yards away. "Great, and of all things, he's just sitting there minding his own business. If anything, he should trying to figure out how to beat the Horsemen of Apocalypse" the girl smirked as she started to walk towards Mike.

"The simple pleasure of reading is what I need right now. With all that's gone on in the last two weeks, I haven't even able to open this up and enjoy it like I could when I set out to defeat Godan," he thought to himself as he turned a page.

"What 'cha readin'?" a female voice suddenly came up from behind Mike. He thought nothing of it being so involved in his reading that he just simply replied…

"A book on Greek and Norse mythology, just a simple pleasure I enjoy". He then just turned another page as the girl just stood behind him. After about fifteen more page turns, Mike's classic sense of being able to sense anyone close to himself started to irritate him. "You're still there aren't you? Well, do you need anything at all?"

"Nothing really, just one question though" she replied.

"Shoot" Mike said.

She quickly grabbed his from him diverting his attention and causing him to stand up with his back to her. "Hm… this is an interesting book," she said as she started to flip through the pages.

"Could I at least have my book back before I…" Mike started to say as he turned around. He never finished his rhetorical question when he got a look at the girl behind him. Mike was in absolute shock.

"And for my question, I was wondering how long it was going to take until you started to talk to me and get your nose out of this book?" she said as the girl noticed Mike's dumbfounded look. "What? Haven't you seen a girl with a mask on before?"

"Well… it's a small world huh?" Mike stuttered as started to get over his shock. "I never imagined that I run into the girl who saved Onett from certain destruction here in Dalaam".

"Oh, you found out about that huh? I guess it must have come to you as quite a shock as to what happened there. I'm guessing that someone found out about me as well and let you in on all the gory details," she started as she closed the book and tossed it back to Mike. "Let me see, now which of you has the skills to have been able to find out about what exactly had happened and about me. I'll take a wild guess it was Paula who clued you in," she finished.

"Bingo" Mike answered immediately. "Let me just say that it was not a pretty scene. If anything, we're all thankful that you came along and did what you did. To be honest though, you're abilities are remarkable. We fought against omega class starmen before and nearly lost as a group. Yet you, you managed to take down ten with your bare hands. I must say that was quite the remarkable feat".

"Thanks, I guess. That is not the first time I've had to fight that model. That model was specifically created to destroy me believe it or not. If you fought them before, it seems the focus has been taken off of me for a while and put onto you and your friends. I would suggest being careful then. Those Omega starmen do not play around. They are completely independent in thought and will not hesitate to completely annihilate anything around them. But, I guess you already know that from experience so let me warn you about one other thing…" she started to say but stopped.

"What, what's the other warning?" Mike questioned.

"The power of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse when they reach full power together will probably be greater than when they each went down one by one. Each one will be theoretically unstoppable, and…" she started to explain as mike started to laugh. "What the Hell are you laughing about?" she yelled.

"Just the fact I actually already know that along with the rest of us is all. So there is no need to warn us about that at all. I've already taken that into consideration and have conclude that it might as well be hopeless if we just look at that and say 'We're doomed'. That's all I have to say about that as well". Mike paused for a moment while scratching his head. "I already know the answer to this question, but who are you?"

"You were right. You do know that answer already, and it's I'm not gonna tell you," she quickly replied.

"Figured" Mike said as he ran up to the girl as fast as he could to strip her mask off, but she stop him short by putting up two fingers and putting them right on his forehead. Mike could not build up enough force to run towards her any further.

"I will tell you something. You will know my identity one day, but not anytime before, during, or shortly after your battle with the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. I hope you are not expecting me to fight with you in that final battle either," she explained.

"I was gonna ask you but I got my answer just now" Mike said with disappointment in his voice. He then tried to grab her mask again and she punched him right in the ribs sending Mike backward a good fifty feet. "I guess I deserved that".

"Yeah, you did. I will dictate when you find out about who I am. Until then, just try not to worry about because you will never find out," she replied.

Mike then started to suddenly clench his gut and scream in pain. "Hey come on now, I didn't punch you there nor did I hit you hard enough to do any real damage. If you're doing this to catch me off guard, it won't work" the commented.

"I know… I can… already see your too powerful for me to try a sneak attack on you. So… I'll JUST!" Mike started to state as he started to scream in pain again. "I have no clue… what's happening to me here. My gut feels like something is out to burst out from the inside. My body feels so hot right now that it feels like I'm gonna ignite into flames. Flames so hot, that they'll burn themselves to blacken ASHES!" he howled at the end as he fell down to the ground. Mike managed to get himself up into a kneeling position with his left arm while his right arm held his gut.

The girl standing before Mike started to notice his energy go up just a little. "What the? He's definitely not faking this. His energy just went up, and it's…visible. It looks like his body is actually starting to burn. That can't be though. He didn't used the classic mind over matter chant to use Psi. It's not a Fate because it would have been more noticeable and straight-forward than this. So what's… going on" she thought to herself as she could just watch Mike in horrible pain, and then his body suddenly burst into flames only seconds later. Weird thing was is that the flames were black. On top of that, Mike's body was not affected by the flames.

The pain suddenly stopped for Mike as he looked at his body and how it was burning black. "This is too weird. It's just like dragon in a lot of ways, but it's seems to be a variation of some sort" Mike thought to himself when he remembered what Ness showed him before they set out for the weapons of light.

"Hey Mike, can I ask you a quick question about the dragon Psi ability you taught me" Ness said with some look of concern on his face.

"Sure thing, Ness," Mike said while still being on the couch recovering from the fight against the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse.

"You see, I tried to use again earlier. Just to get to know my new power. The odd part is it didn't come out the same again," Ness explained as he did dragon right before Mike to show what he meant. A white flame wrapped around his right arm in a spiral. "See what I mean".

"Yeah, I do. The simple explanation is that your powers are starting to bend to your body. Usually when most people learn Psi, their body has to adapt to their powers. Some gifted psychics have the ability to make their psychic powers conform to their body. It's a rare and whenever it happens it's usually because the mind and body both sync together on their own with no real change in abilities. I taught you a dragon Psi power, Ness. It's new type of power you tapped into and your mind must have subconsciously modified your power to fit you best. This might be one of many modifications made to your powers Ness, so don't be surprised if it keeps happens again…"

As Mike started to stand, he, for the first time in years, actually smiled. "It feels so natural now. These flames don't have any heat to them. They are comforting if anything. The flames that can burn themselves to ash, I feel this is the true form of Psi dragon for me. It feels… right" he thought to himself as the blonde standing only a few feet away could not believe what she just saw.

"Wow… I can't believe it. A new power appearing spontaneously like this," she started to think when she thought of something. "I remember being told something about a three some of warriors that if united they could perform feats together that no other entity could dream of. They were known as holy knight, calm wind, and black dragon," she thought to herself as the pieces started to come to together, somewhat. "If the legend I was told is true, then I know what Mike is mutating into. He would be black dragon. There is no doubt in my mind that he would be. Those black flames are similar enough to those in the legend that I can say he is. 'A dragon who breathes black flames will draw her sword and wrap those flames around it. The very moment the slash makes contact onto those who oppose her become the very gas the life breathes'.

"Next would be calm wind, Ryan. 'A wind as powerful as a twister will then take his turn. He is calm as the wind on a calm sunny day, but can turn into a twister as suddenly as the skies can become chaotic. He will surround those who oppose him with winds that are sharper than any sword, dismembering them in the process'. That sounds exactly like Ryan. I've seen him beat Godan's lackeys using such techniques before. I must admit though. The shredding he gave those lackeys compared is nothing compared to what he does now.

"Finally, would be holy knight, Nolan. 'A knight who can fight on the level of the angels will then appear. It is said he uses the will of the Heavens and creates whatever weapon necessary to strike down his enemies. He also controls the weapons of the Heavens and will one day wield the ultimate power'. If that is not the description of a manifester, I do not know what is. Not to mention, Nolan is the only known manifester know to exist on this planet right now. I'm certain others exist right now, but they are undeveloped or too afraid to use their powers. Who else could holy knight be?

"It all makes sense now. That would explain how Mike is going to get around the Archangel Michael. The archangel who was the general of Lucifer's army who was defeated, most look on him as complete evil. I had my doubts originally. Two guardians, two angels; but Ness does not share a name with such an infamous entity, Mike does. His body only has to mutate slightly to be able to maximize stability when the powers of the earth circulate through him at full power. It's the influence of basic biochemistry that causes the transformation. Since the archangel has been said by mystics to be a human's most powerful form, if achievable, it is the form obtained. I was told that the second guardian would undergo a transformation once ready. His body is already preparing itself for what will happen to him. My question is, who is the entity responsible for… MY GOD! That would explain everything!"

As the blonde was thinking all this through, Mike was still looking at flames surrounding his body with awe. "I wonder how this is supposed to be used". Mike turned around to avoid the obviously distracted blonde, as not to hit her, and try to use the power like he had before. It was to no avail. "Let's try using a different method then," Mike thought to himself as he was trying to think how the new form of dragon could be used.

"Try your sword, Mike" the blonde quickly said as Mike did what she said immediately. The flames went from his body also started to surround the Eden Sword.

"How did she know?" Mike thought to himself as he just shrugged it off as intuition. "Now, I need a target, something inorganic… ah ha!" Mike had found the perfect target, an exposed mountain side a nice distance away from the mountains on which Dalaam sat. Mike quickly took to the sky as flew right to that spot. "Here goes nothing!"

That protrusion no longer exists on that mountain side. The attack completely sublimed the protrusion and when slightly deeper. This shocked Mike even. He did not suspect that the new form of dragon would do that.

"Oh yeah, he's definitely black dragon. No doubt about it now," the blonde thought to herself as Mike came back and slowly descended to the ground, flame free of course. "I feel sorry for him though. What he will soon experience is a hell no person should have to go through. The battle he is about to fight will be his last. It might be even before he even gets to deliver one blow to the Horsemen of Apocalypse. The prophecies say it will be so, and they have not been wrong yet".

Tears started to flow out of Mike's eyes once she finished her thoughts. "DAMN IT!" he howled as he collapsed to the ground. "Why is it every time I realize a new power, all it can truly do is destroy, or help me destroy? I had to seal away my Mental Ascension because I could lose all my sense of morality and die from the torture put on my mind. Ragin' Finale is nothing more than a primitive rage. All REM attack does is strengthen my ability to destroy. I have the power of the Phoenix circulating through my blood, yet I cannot heal like the Phoenix of legend. Galatical can destroy entire towns in a single blast. This new dragon can complete sublime matter. I can't even touch another living thing with my bare hands anymore! These hands can kill with the slightest touch now. I won't even be able to hold the hand of the one I shall someday love with my own! What good is this fucking power if it can only destroy! Tell me, someone please tell ME!" Mike was completely breaking down at this point. The tears that flowed out of his eyes were those of complete frustration and sadness, and they flowed faster and harder than most intense water flow imaginable.

The blonde was watching all of this, and couldn't help but feel for Mike. She slowly walked over to him, crouched down, and put her right hand on his left shoulder. "I'm surprised that you truly have no idea. I would have thought that overly powerful mind of yours would have shown you something subconsciously while you slept…" she started to say.

"My dreams, I have never paid attention to them much. If you say they are something prophetic in them, I won't believe you. All I am is just a psychic who can destroy. I'm not clairvoyant. I can predict stuff, but that's because I can see patterns so easily that it's almost funny. To be blunt though, they haven't told me anything". Mike said.

"That's surprising. Let me put it out to you like this. You are being tested. Tested for what, I cannot tell you because you would refuse my answer. I can give you a hint, close your eyes and I will tell you" she said.

"What do I need to close my eyes for?" Mike snapped back, sniffing.

"It's easier to see the scene a psychic tries to paint if you close your eyes and concentrate," she said as that was enough for Mike, knowing that to be the truth through experience. He quickly shut his eyes. "Good, now I'll be able to show you some of the destiny that awaits you".

The blonde took off her mask and position herself in front of Mike. She quickly put her arms around him and put her lips onto Mike's, and left them there for an extended period of five minutes. Mike only followed along out of pure shock of not knowing what to do, and kept his eyes shut. "I see now why the master likes you. The test you will soon encounter will be worst than the wrath of a million Horsemen of Apocalypse put together. He said you might overcome, but I don't believe him. He also said why you were being tested, but after the tears I saw flowing from your eyes just now I can't believe him. Please, take it in stride. You're going to need everything you have to prove yourself. Otherwise, you will no longer exist. You will be given the sentence of being too dangerous to exist, and your soul will be obliterated as well," she explained as her grip tightened around Mike's body. It was a tight embrace and Mike was still too shocked to do anything about it.

"Please, come back to everyone alive. You are the one who must battle along my side after the war against the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse end, not the other. I refuse to have it any other way," she said as she gave Mike one another kiss.

Mike finally became aware after another five minutes of the blonde kissing him, and he opened his eyes only to find that the girl had disappeared. "Was that real?" he said to himself as he got up and touched his right hand to his lips. "It's an usual warmth there. I guess it was," he sighed, "Whoever you are, thank you. I needed to know that at least someone in this world could embrace me like that".

In a location still unknown to this day…

"That was not only your tip what lies in front of you, but also something to help you not lose your faith. After all…" as started to say as she pulled a necklace out from under her shirt. It bared a crest in the middle of it that had a picture of two people. One was behind the other embracing him or her. From that, the dark sapphire in which the crest was contained shone with a light blue light. "It is my job to represent faith, as yours is to represent time". She finished as she sat down, and started to meditate once again.
