Hey guys! I've decided to write another chapter for the weekend! I know you guys are out of school like me and like to read this stuff in your free time so that's why I'm writing. Also because I got a few reviews for my last chapter which made me so happy because they praised my story with great enthusiasm lol. The story now has 45 reviews but my other story has like 71. Let's beat that number before the story ends please! I will pay you…with a sequel! Haha. And the story has now hit thee 10,000 views mark which is great and awesome! Ch. 26

(Flashback)

The sky still looked grey from the past raindrops it had just created. The dirt of the woods was muddy and puddles surrounded the grounds of the huge headquarters that was occupied by the scouts. The temperature today was very cool. If I had to guess, I would have to say it was around 60 degrees right now; not too cold and not too hot.

"Alright….Left side to the strand…."

I muttered to myself as I French-braided my hair on a tree stump. Sitting here gave me a clear view of the forest in front of me and the headquarters no more than ten feet behind me. Right now, Eren was sitting at a picnic bench talking with Hanji while Levi and Petra talked about the upcoming operation. I continued to work my golden hair with my delicate fingers until I finally reached the moment where I could braid no more. I tied the braid and threw it to the side, it going just under my right breast. I felt it for a second before smiling to myself. I had to admit I did a good job on it. After all, my hair was usually in a long ponytail or something like that. Turning my head, I looked at Hanji and Eren and decided to go over there.

"Oh hey Robina, we were just talking about my research!"

Hanji said with an excited gleam in her eyes. I smiled at her and then looked at Eren. His expression was more of a cross between 'help me' and exhaustion. I giggled under my breath and sat down next to him. I instantly felt his body relax once I sat down. Resting my chin on my palm, I smiled at the excited Hanji.

"Do you ever just relax and calm down?"

I asked the woman with glasses. She shook her head and slammed her hands on the wooden table we were sitting at.

"Oh my god, your braid is just wonderful! How did you do that!?"

She asked me.

"Well…."

"Hold that thought! I have to go to the bathroom!"

She screamed as she literally sprinted away and inside the castle-like structure. I rolled my eyes and looked at a relieved Eren. He turned to me and kissed me on the cheek.

"T-Thank you…Thank you so much…..She….She would not stop talking…..and I'm so tired Robina…..so tired….."

He trailed off as he rested is had on my shoulder and closed his eyes. I put my arm around his shoulder and brought him closer to me. He sighed with happiness and snuggled into my side as I resisted the urge to cuddle with him in front of Levi and Petra. I think we all know that they were talking about us in that dark corner they were in. Every glance I took at him, I found them snickering soooooo…yeah. Levi caught me looking at him and went back to his usual blank expression. He then whispered something to Petra and they started walking over here. I nudged Eren slightly and he quickly sat back up.

"I can see you two are having fun but we need to talk about your abilities Eren."

Levi said as he and Petra sat down. Eren nodded and somehow the dark circles under his eyes instantly disappeared.

"Yes sir!"

He replied to Levi.

"Right. So the first thing I want to tell you is what we will do if you suddenly go berserk in your Titan form. You have to know that if you try anything that looks suspicious or deadly, we will immediately commence the method I have created. This method will stop you in your Titan from without killing you. However, it could possible injure you."

He said as he stared at the two of us. I crossed my arms and stared back at him. Finding a way of not killing him but at the same time getting Eren back to his human form sounded great. But I couldn't help but feel suspicious about this.

"Okay, so what do you plan on doing?"

I asked him. He smirked as if he knew I was going to ask that and answered me.

"We're going to cut you out of your Titan body. We will cut your neck like a normal Titan and just pull you out of it."

I stood up quickly and gasped.

"That could kill him! You can't do that!"

I yelled. Levi just blinked at me and shook his head.

"Not if we be careful about where we cut. Our squad has the best precision and accuracy in the whole scouting regiment. The risk of him dying might as well be zero. So calm down…"

He said. I huffed and sat back down, Eren taking my hand in his under the table. Levi smirked at us and waved his hands in the air.

"Besides, if we cut any body parts they will just grow back. You have nothing to worry about."

He said like he didn't even know what he just said. I was about to yell again but Eren stopped me.

"I'm sorry sir, but I don't feel too good about that either. I'm not even sure if it will grow back because it's just too unpredictable. We can't take that risk."

He said with a tone of worry for himself. Levi sighed while Petra looked like she agreed with us. Knowing her, she didn't even want to see Eren in Titan form at all.

"Jeez…You two are the perfect couple aren't you? You two always agree to disagree with me on one thing or another. Don't you realize that we could risk dying in the process as well? It's the best thing we've got so far but if you have an idea I would love to hear it."

He asked as he propped his boots on the table. I thought about it for a minute and was about to say something until I saw Hanji jumping up and down over to us. I sighed mentally on the inside and didn't even bother speaking anymore. She stopped in front of us and slammed one hand on the table.

"Get this, guys! They just gave me approval to experiment on Eren!"

The four of us at the table blinked a couple of times before realizing what she had just said. I would've asked how but she interrupted me again.

"Want to know how? Okay! Well, I was finishing my duty in the bathroom and walked out to find Commander Erwin just happening to stand there. No way, right!? Anyway, I walked up to him and he just gave me the approval to experiment right now! How cool is that!?"

"Pretty cool I guess….What do you plan on doing with me?"

Eren asked. Hanji pointed at the well that was to the right of us.

"That well over there doesn't have any water in it, so we will be putting you in that so that you can transform without hurting anybody. We don't know exactly but it is our best bet at holding you down if you lose control. Now come on!"

She said as she dragged him away from us. I sighed in annoyance and followed them over to the dried well. They lowered him in the well as soon as he got there and his figure became dim as he got to the bottom. He hit the ground with his feet and looked up.

"Okay, I'm ready!"

He yelled from the dark pit. I looked over to my left to find Hanji shaking more every second in excitement. She really didn't relax at all. Hanji raised her right hand and then gave the signal to transform by firing a flare. We all looked into the well to see what happened but nothing would. Eren was clearly biting his hand multiple times but nothing seemed to work. It looked pretty painful at how he was doing it to. The blood from his hand was splattering everywhere as he became frustrated and bit harder. I gripped the edge of the wall and yelled at him,

"Eren stop! Stop biting yourself! It's not going to work!"

I said to him. He instantly stopped at my voice and looked up at us, holding his hands in front of him.

"It's not working! I can't transform!"

He screamed. Levi sighed and rolled his eyes.

"If you can't transform, it will hinder the plan to take back Wall Maria. I suggest you figure out how to transform before that happens."

He said as he walked away. Petra tried to make him come back but he refused. She sighed and raised Eren from the well as she shook her head. I could tell she was disappointed but the way she looked right now showed relief. I looked at the other squad members and they had the same look. However, Hanji just showed true disappointment in her facial expression. If I had to guess, they were all probably relieved that he couldn't transform. That kind of made me angry at them because I knew they still didn't trust him.

"Damn it!"

I jumped out of my thoughts to find Eren climbing out of the dry well. He looked ashamed that he couldn't do it but I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. We'll figure it out. Now let's go eat our lunch okay? One of the soldiers made us some and set it on the table."

I told him as I pointed at the table. Petra nodded and got close to me.

"Well, I'm glad he is more human than we thought…"

"He is as much human as you are, you guys just don't trust him….Which you should….."

I said with slight annoyance. She looked at the ground and crossed her arms.

"Well if you were in our place you wouldn't trust him either. His power is just too unpredictable to trust right now. You understand, right?"

She said.

"Well if you were in my place you would trust him. You can't keep thinking about his Titan abilities. You have to focus on him being himself right now. I don't know why you scouts can't see that."

I finally told her as we sat down at the picnic table. She made an understanding sound and sat down in thought. I would think that maybe I got her to realize that but I wouldn't take my chances. Eren sat down next to me, holding his hand and wincing.

"Eren, let me at least get the blood dripping off of it."

I said as I grabbed a wipe and began cleaning his hand. It would still be untreated because I didn't have any bandages but this was better than nothing. He winced in pain every time I wiped some blood and it made my heart break every time. After wiping most of the blood, I put my hand on his face and pecked him on the lips. I smiled sweetly at him and he looked happier than he was a few seconds ago.

"Better?"

I asked him.

"Yeah…..thanks Robina…."

He said with a soft smile as he pecked me back. Petra brought her hands together and made an 'aww' sound. We both turned to her and glared before eating our lunch. It was some kind of soup or something but I didn't bother asking. Eren picked up his spoon and suddenly cried out in pain as he dropped it. I gasped and turned to him to see if he was okay but he had already started trying to pick up the spoon again.

"Oh no, I'll get-"

I was saying but it was electricity went past me and landed on Eren's hand. I gasped and was suddenly blown away in a smoke of heat and darkness. I flew back and managed to hit the ground with my feet, almost landing on my back. I cleared my eyes from the smoke and looked at what was in front of me. My eyes went wide as I saw what was in front of me. It was a giant Titan carcass that was set where the table used to be. Eren was on top of it trying to pull his arm from it. I gasped and ran towards Eren as I realized what had just happened.

He had transformed….

And that is the end of the chapter! I know it's not the full flashback but the next chapter will end the flashback and then end that episode. Also, I know there are some things that didn't happen in the anime that are in the story so don't get mad at that. It's not supposed to be the same lol.
