"Alright," Kagome took a deep breath and held her hand out. "let's get this over with."
The elder held the knife over her wrist and looked at Sesshoumaru. "Sesshoumaru do you accept this woman as alpha bitch and vow to serve and protect her?"
"Hai." He nodded and looked at Kagome.
Kagome smiled up at him.
"Kagome," the elder drew her attention his way. "do you vow to honor and protect Sesshoumaru as alpha bitch and mother?"
"Of course." She nodded.
"Kei," the elder started. "do you accept this woman as alpha bitch and vow to serve and protect her?"
Kei smiled over at her. "Absolutely." He nodded.
"Kagome,"
"Yes and Inuyasha too." She answered before he could even start. "Can we not drag this on?"
"If my lady wishes it." The elder nodded. "As alpha bitch you hereby accept these as your own and take into you a piece of them as you would give a piece of yourself to them." He announced then slashed the dagger across her wrist.
Kagome hissed at the sting of her flesh being cut open then glared at Sesshoumaru when he smirked at her.
"Painless." He nodded curtly before he pressed his wrist to hers.
"Well good for you." She snorted feeling their power mixing between them.
He snorted and removed his wrist from hers to allow Kei to bind with her.
"Ow." Kei grinned when the elder slashed the dagger across his wrist.
Kagome rolled her eyes and smiled. "Well, sympathy pain is better than nothing."
"See," Kei looked over at Sesshoumaru. "I am the favorite."
"Not this again." Kagome glared between the two of them.
"I agree." Toga smirked. "Because clearly I am the favorite."
"That Toga sense of humor once again makes an unwanted appearance." Kagome snorted.
"As opposed to your sense of humor?" He arched a silver brow at her as he stepped up next to her with Inuyasha in his arms.
"I'm pretty sure we've had this exact same conversation before." Kagome narrowed her eyes at him.
"Most likely." He agreed. "So should we do Inuyasha and Onigumo at the same time?"
"Yes." She nodded and looked over at Sesshoumaru. "Will you hold him?"
Sesshoumaru picked Onigumo up and stepped up to his father.
"Sessy?" Onigumo questioned fearfully as he stared at the elder with knife in hand before looking over at his mother with blood all over her wrist.
"You'll be okay." He nodded curtly.
"It's okay baby." Kagome tried to sooth.
"Let's do him fist then we'll do Inuyasha." Toga suggested.
"No, Inuyasha first since he's so young he'll be easier to deal with afterwards." Kagome nodded. "Do Onigumo first then I'll heal him right after and hold him while we do Inuyasha."
"Alright." Toga agreed and looked at the elder. "Let's do this quickly."
The elder nodded at him. "Toga as alpha of this pack do you accept this human boy as your own and vow to protect and teach him as he grows?"
"Yes." Toga nodded and mussed up Onigumo's hair.
"Onigumo," the elder drew the boy's attention his way. "is Toga your father?"
Onigumo nodded. "Hai."
"Is he a good father that takes care of you?"
"Hai." Onigumo again nodded.
"Good." The elder grinned. "Sesshoumaru if you would."
"Onigumo, hide your face." Sesshoumaru pressed his head against his shoulder.
"Why Sessy?" He drew his brows as he stared at him.
"For a game." Sesshoumaru answered with a nod and a rub to Onigumo's back.
"Okay." He agreed reluctantly and did as he was told.
Toga sighed deeply as he looked at the duo and held his wrist out to the elder. "Make it quick as possible."
"Hai." The elder agreed and slashed Toga's wrist then quickly did the same to Onigumo's wrist causing the boy to scream.
Toga pressed his wrist to Onigumo's as Sesshoumaru held the boy to him tightly.
"It's okay baby." Kagome soothed as she stepped up them and healed him when Toga separated from him.
"Mommy!" Onigumo cried and reached out for her. "Hurts!"
"I know." She took him and held him tightly to her chest. "Now do Inuyasha." She held her bleeding wrist out.
Toga nodded at the elder and as quickly as possible they bonded Inuyasha to Kagome.
"Great!" Kei clapped his hands together. "Now we're a family so that means…" He trailed off and looked at Toga.
Toga rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Has anyone even mentioned this at all?"
"Mentioned what?" Kagome questioned as she looked up at him while trying to soothe Onigumo who was still crying.
"Family bonding." Kei grinned widely at her causing her to narrow her eyes suspiciously in return. "First the family dinner, then the family bath, and finally…" He again trailed off and nudged Sesshoumaru.
Sesshoumaru snorted but looked at her and finished what Kei didn't. "We will spend the evening exchanging stories about who we are to fully unite this family."
"No one told me about that." Kagome glowered up at Toga.
"What kind of family did you come from?" He stared at her. "Did you not bond with them at all?"
"Well of course I did." She scowled. "But I've never bathed with them. Dinner and stories yes, bathing, no."
"So then there's no problem." Toga nodded. "You'll just be doing one more thing."
Her eyes widened. "Toga we're talking about taking a bath, ALL of us together, NAKED."
"And how else would you take a bath?" Sesshoumaru questioned as he stared at her.
"We're your kids so being naked in front of us shouldn't be a problem." Kei pointed out.
"I agree." Sesshoumaru nodded curtly.
"You're too young to see a naked woman." She argued with the best reason she could come up with under the circumstances. She couldn't exactly say they were adults so her only option was to treat them like children.
"I've seen plenty." Kei nodded.
"As have I." Sesshoumaru echoed.
Her eyes widened then narrowed deeply. "When, where, and who?" She growled. "I'll kill them all. You two are too young to see that sort of thing."
Toga smirked at her trying not to laugh. "Their bathing maids are naked with them all the time." He pointed out.
"I don't think so." She glowered. "I WILL NOT have my babies subjected to such… indecency."
"We're hardly babies." Sesshoumaru glared at her.
"You are in my book, and as your mother," she narrowed her eyes right back at him. "things around here are going to change."
"I can't wait." Kei beamed.
"Kill her." Sesshoumaru growled as he looked at his father.
Toga chuckled. "Not on your life."
"Now look," Kagome glared at the three of them. "I'll do dinner and stories but there is no way I'm taking a bath with all of you." She glared even harder when Sesshoumaru opened his mouth. "That wasn't a statement open for debate."
Sesshoumaru pressed his lips together in displeasure and looked at his father.
"Sorry son, it's her choice." He shrugged.
Sesshoumaru narrowed his ambers and stared at Kagome. "Traditions are in place for a reason."
Kagome matched the glare he was giving her. "Are you challenging me? And mind you if you are you better be damn well ready to face the consequences."
Sesshoumaru let off a small growl before he turned and swept out of the room leaving behind an air of discontent.
"And what about you?" Kagome looked over at Kei.
Kei just shrugged a shoulder at her. "I'm not as much as a traditionalist as the ice prince so dinner and stories are good enough for me." He grinned at her.
"Good." Kagome nodded at him then looked up at Toga. "So dinner and stories tonight or tomorrow?"
Toga shrugged at her. "Tonight or tomorrow, whenever you would like."
Kagome looked at him then over at Kei and rubbed Onigumo's back. "Tonight it is then once we get Inuyasha and Onigumo settled down for the night."
"Perfect." Kei nodded. "I'll go let Sesshoumaru know." He grinned then left the room.
"This is going to be an interesting night." Toga grinned then at her, amber eyes glinting.
"Why are you saying it like that?" Kagome questioned suspiciously.
Toga just smirked at her and walked away to go hand Inuyasha over to his wet nurse.
"Hey!" Kagome yelled and followed after him.

Sesshoumaru held his hands out in front of him palms up letting his jaki rise from the center of his palms. He stared into copper colored eyes as Kei held his hands above his and let his jaki flow down so that they were swirling together between them.
"We are one." Kei whispered and twisted his power around Sesshoumaru's.
"For eternity." Sesshoumaru responded and increased the flow of his power causing Kei to respond in kind.
Soon they were surrounded in each other's jaki causing the room to glow green.
"Should I die…" Kei started.
"I will follow." Sesshoumaru continued. "Should I die…"
Kei stared into Sesshoumaru's ambers and smiled. "I will follow. If I am injured…"
"I will take you into me and use my life to heal you." Sesshoumaru narrowed his ambers upon him knowing that odds were he would eventually have to do exactly that. "If I am injured…"
"I will take you into me and use my life to heal you." Kei grinned at him. "Two lives with one power together for eternity." He ended and they both increased the flow of their jaki twisting it together so tightly there was no distinguishing between the two.
"What in seven hells is going on in here?" Toga demanded as he slammed the door open.
"We are one." Sesshoumaru answered and kept his eyes locked with Kei's.
"Bound for eternity." Kei responded with a grin at the inu in front of him.
Toga pressed his lips together into a thin tight line. "I said this was forbidden."
"And I said we wouldn't stop." Sesshoumaru growled back. "Now leave so we can finish." He ordered as he brought his hands up and laced his fingers with Kei's.
"And," Kei added. "you said we could do what we want," He smirked at Sesshoumaru causing said inu to nod curtly back at him.
Toga glared at them for a moment longer before he turned and swept from the room leaving behind pockets of angry energy.
"We will never be parted." Sesshoumaru nodded curtly at the neko and exploded his jaki out around him.
"Never." Kei agreed and released his jaki filling the room with blinding green energy as the two melded their jaki together.'
