Hey guys and girls, sorry I took this long. I have something else bitting my head off (writers block) and I just stopped. But I read one guest comment from a girl named Danazia Gray that kept asking me when Hilary would get her memories back. So, honey here it is.

ON THE FIC!

A soft knock was heard at the door. A soft voice called out, asking if she could come in. A sigh was heard and the door was opened. It revealed Hilary. Her eyes were puffy and red. Her clothes were messy and wrinkled. Looking up to the person who had opened the door, she said:

"I need to talk to someone."

Letting her in, Hilary spotted someone else in the room. That someone else was Kai. Exchanging a look with the person who opened the door, he nodded and put on his shirt, kissing the person's forehead and leaving the room. Hilary stared at the door for a few seconds before saying:

"I had a bad dream."

"What was it about?" the girl asked her.

"Tyson. And Ray. And Max. And Kenny. And Kai." Hilary told her, sitting on the bed beside her.

"What did they do?"

"I don't remember." The ruby eyed girl said, whimpering "Why can't I remember, Rya?"

"Because it's painful." She simply said, looking to the floor.

"The girls told me you knew what happened to me. My life before my amnesia. Is it true?" Hilary inquired, grabbing Rya's arm.

"Yes," the girl affirmed "It is."

"Tell me. Please." She begged, wiping her eyes.

"I can't." Rya denied, standing up and making Hilary let go of her arm. She couldn't let herself, even if she wanted, tell the girl what really happened. It would be too painful. It's not that Hilary was a weak girl, it's just that, if the situation had happened to her, she would be broken too.

"Why not!? Rya, I've been haunted with this nightmares since forever! I want some answers!" Hilary demanded, her hands turning into fists.

"I can't give you answers." Rya declared, turning to the girl.

"Why?"

"Because sometimes being in ignorance is good." She replied, sighing.

"Rya, I want answers. Right now." Hilary demanded "Or I'm going to Voltaire and tell him the truth."

"You wouldn't do that." Rya affirmed, turning to the girl and glaring at her.

"Wouldn't I? Well, with that glare, surely not, but the threat is here." She said, gulping.

"Why do you want to remember so bad?" the brunette asked, crossing her arms.

"Because every time I'm around him, I feel this pain in my chest that I can't ignore! I'm falling for him, Rya, but the pain is almost unbearable‼" Hilary exclaimed, crossing her arms.

"You loved him." The girl declared.

"Who?" she asked, surprised.

"Tyson. And he broke you. You left. Happy?" Rya asked, turning away to look through the window. It was still snowing.

"No. How did he broke me?" Hilary demanded to know.

"Find out for yourself. I'm not gonna be the one awakening those memories." Rya declared, crossing her arms. Hilary stood up and told her angrily:

"You always were the one that gave me the answers for everything. And now when I ask you to give me a simple answer, you don't? I hate you."

"Don't tell me I didn't warn you, Hilary. Go get your memories at your own cost, but don't come back if they break you again." Rya warned her, watching the girl leaving the room and close the door behind her in an angry way.

Rya sighed. The girl was stubborn, she knew it. And she wasn't going to stop until she got what she wanted. It was one of the things that captured her in Hilary's spell. She reminded her of herself, in a more innocent and happy form. Feeling a pair of arms wrapping around her waist, Rya rested her head against the person's broad shoulder.

"Is everything okay?" a deep voice asked.

"Yeah. I think so. I'm worried about her." Rya whispered, turning her head to plant a small kiss in the skin of the person's neck "Why can't she understand that I'm only trying to protect her, Kai?"

"Because you can't protect her from this." He declared, with tone matching her own "No matter how hard you try, you can never protect someone from herself."

"Why not?"

"Because you'll be shielding her from herself. You'd be taking away her identity."

"How can I stop her from being broken?"

"You don't. The only thing you can do is be there when she breaks down. You've done it once. What stops you from doing it again?"

"I don't know. C'mon. Let's go back to bed. My feet are cold." She told him, grabbing his hand and taking him to her small bed. "And get rid of that shirt."

Hilary was sitting on her bed, trying to remember. She was clutching her head hard, almost like the pressure was going to awake her sleeping memories. Then someone knocked. Sighing and getting up, Hilary quickly opened the door. Tyson stood there, rubbing his arms.

"Tyson! Is everything okay?"

"I'm freezing cold! Do you have an extra blanket for me?"

"Not really. But my bedroom is warmer. Wanna come in?" she asked, her answer being a push and the sound of the door closing. Giggling, Hilary watched Tyson as he swept under her covers, sighing in relief.

"Man, this feels good." He said, turning to her "C'mon, don't just stand there. C'mere!"

"O-okay" she agreed, entering the bed and snuggling besides him. Looking deep into his cocoa eyes, Hilary requested:

"Tyson, can I ask you something?"

"Sure, Princess, what is it?"

"Who is Hilary to you?"

"Oh… She's… Hilary is my friend. A very close friend of mine. A friend that I don't have besides me anymore."

"Why not?"

"I made a mistake. There was this day… I was angry. And she was the kind of person that can be really bitchy and bossy sometimes."

"Maybe she's just trying to help you…"

"Yeah… Maybe. Anyway, she barged in on me and I exploded. I ended up hurting her feelings badly and she left us. She traded us for another team."

"Why? What did you tell her, Tyson?"

"I… It's hard, Princess."

"Why? Was it that bad?"

"…"

"Tyson?" she called out. "Yeah…" he whispered, turning away.

"Why? What did you tell her?"

"I told her bad things, Princess. I don't wanna talk about that." He told her, closing his eyes. Hilary sighed and led down as well, closing her eyes.

Hilary's POV:

I woke up in a strange place. It looked familiar to me, but I don't know where from. I've never seen nor lived this scene.

A younger representation of me was sitting on a wooden bench in a grassy backyard of a house. She was watching what looked like a younger representation of the X-Bladers, but without Ozuma, Susie or Skye.

Kai was cold, as usual. He was resting against a tree, covered by its shadow. Ray was standing beside me and Kenny was sitting beside me, on my left side. My representation must have heard something because she stood up and went inside, only to come back later and say:

"Max, you name someone on the phone."

And then I saw him. He was standing in front of Tyson, facing a bey-dish and apparently, he just had won the battle.

"Did you catch the name, Hilary?" he asked. And my younger representation said:

"Yeah. It's Rick. He wants to talk to you about Emily."

"Coming." Max said, running to the living room. I walked closer. No one seems to notice me. I stood in front of Kai and watched the scene before me. I saw myself walking to Tyson and ask him what was wrong. He answered 'Nothing' and she insisted. Like I knew she would. She's me, after all.

But Tyson seemed to take the small good intention the wrong way. He started yelling. He told her to 'bug off'. And she shouted back. Of course. Short temperament. It really wasn't her fault that Tyson lost against Max. But Tyson seemed to think that she was the whole reason to fight. So she told him that, just because he was the champion that didn't give him the right to mistreat people. And that she was leaving, not because Tyson told her to.

"CAN'T YOU SEE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO IN HERE?! YOU ARE NOT A PART OF THIS TEAM! NOBODY LIKES YOU, OR EVEN CARES ABOUT YOU! YOU ARE A DEAD WEIGHT THAT KEEPS PUSHING THIS TEAM DOWN!"

Hilary's heart fell. She could see her representation's eyes fill with tears. Kenny stood up quickly and faced Tyson but there was no turning back. He had said it and, by the look on his furious face, he wasn't going to take it back. But he continued.

"I DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU! YOU ARE JUST THE GIRL THAT, TWO YEARS AGO, MADE ME CLEAN THE CLASSROOM! YOU'RE NOTHING FOR THIS TEAM! YOU'RE NOTHING TO ME! SO, JUST DO A FAVOR TO THE WORLD AND DROP DEAD!"

Now there was no real turning back. He had said it. It was over now. Her younger self spoke a few more words but eventually she left. Tears rolling down her face. Heart broken. Heavy chest. Confuse minded. After taking a good look at Tyson's angered face and seeing Kai slap the back of his neck, I ran after my younger self.

Man, she has a really good stamina. I almost lost her. I noticed that she kept looking back, just like someone was chasing her, but that someone never came. She stopped in an old amusement park. I saw her sitting down in an old bench and cry her eyes out. I immediately went to her and placed my hand on her shoulder. But it went past her, like I was some kind of ghost.

I saw something moving in the shadows. I looked over and saw copper. And silver. The shadow came closer and asked "Why are you crying?". I looked at it and I realized. It was Rya.

I woke up the instant she looked at me. I stared at the stone wall until I realized that Tyson was still sleeping beside me. I stood up with a jolt and dragged myself on the floor, my eyes never leaving his peaceful face. Feeling my back hitting the wall, I whispered:

"How could you do that to me?"

A/N: And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it! I'm afraid I have no conclusion today to tell you so... Bye!
