I'm Afraid I Love You

Chapter 26: Today's The Day! Part 2

Guests Arrival x Main Gate
"Hey so why are we here exactly?" A young wolf name Ginta questioned.
"Well the invitation claims that the northern lord has finally found his long lost daughter." Another young wolf name Hakkaku replied.
"Since I am partial leader of the eastern lands I have to attend. So I dragged you guys along because I didn't want to be bored." Koga nonchalantly spoke.
'So we're just babysitting him…' Both wolves thought.
"I understand that but why is Ayame here?" Ginta wondered as he pointed towards the younger female wolf.
Before Koga could even answer said wolf responded, "Well since I represent our northern brothers I came in their stead. I also came to keep these other demonesses away from my Koga-kun."
Both wolves just replied with a, "Riiiggghhhttt!"
When everyone who was needed to show appeared in the main halls Itachi stood on the main stairs to greet everyone.
"Welcome everyone; I am glad that you were able to make it here with no problems. I know that you all are probably exhausted from your travels so I will not keep you. My servants will escort you to your rooms and later on this evening the ceremony shall commence." Itachi announced.
"Lord Itachi how do you propose to commence with the ceremony if neither Lord Sesshomaru nor Lord Atsuku is not here?" Ayame questioned.
"Both lords are here young wolf; they arrived here before everyone else did. You will see them later." Itachi stated as he left everyone to be shown to their rooms.
~Naraku~
"Naraku, What shall you have me do?" Kohaku questioned from a dark corner in one the rooms of a mansion that Naraku decided to inhabit for the time being.
"I want to you to go to the northern lands and pretend that you are injured and find out everything that is going on. Once you have gathered enough information I want to you to come back and report to me." Naraku demanded as he watched Kohaku leave.
"Naraku, my brother and I are getting tired of waiting. If you have a plan I advise that you set it into motion immediately or prepare to die. Your time has been overdue to perish." A young girl who looked not even out of her teen years spoke.
"Patience Alyssa, everything will soon come to an end. Also please take note that your father cannot touch me as long as I hold the Shikon no tama. I will never die and this quest of mine will see to it." Naraku confidently spoke.
'Such a foolish life you live Naraku, no matter that will come to an end very soon. We will see if you're really immortal as you believe.' The young girl thought before asking Naraku a question, "What is exactly preventing you from getting any further?"
"The barrier that surrounds the northern castle will not allow me to see what I wish." Naraku unhurriedly admitted.
"Allow me to assist you then spider. Take this mirror and when the moon is high reflect its light upon this. It will show you every conversation that has taken place in whatever location you desire but be forewarned using powerful items such as this comes with a price. Every time you use it, it will take something from you and never the same thing twice nor will you ever get such thing back." Alyssa whispered before disappearing again.
Seeing as it was nearing nightfall Naraku quickly thought of whose conversation he wanted to see first.
'Lord Atsuku will not be a thorn in my side for long. Then I will react my revenge upon that tachi and then finally Kagome we can finally be together. I will be the only person you ever love, the only person you will ever need, and the only person you will ever see. I can't wait to introduce you to my world.' Naraku thought as he chuckled.
~Back at the Northern castle~
As it was nearing the evening hours everyone was preparing themselves for themselves for the events that were about to occur. Lord Itachi's usually quite humble abode was far from it but the lord didn't care for he was too excited to introduce his growing pack and announce his special surprise to the kingdoms.
"Now everyone please listen to me, when you are introduced you will walk in front of everyone and bow then proceed to stand on my left hand side except for Kagome, Lord Sesshomaru, and Ojo Rin. They will be on my right hand side." Itachi explained right before one of the guards announced him.
"Now presenting Lord Itachi of the Northern Lands," A guard announced as said lord walked forward. The guard proceeded to announce the rest of the pack.
"Presenting Oji Kenshi of the northern land and adoptive prince of lord Itachi," Kenshi who remained quite walked ahead of everyone toward the room. Kenshi was wearing the colors of the of the northern lands his inner shirt was dark goldish color, his outer shirt was blood red color, his pants were the same color as his outer shirt with the same gold color for the trimmings. His sash started out white but towards the end of it faded into gold, and on the back of his shirt stood a big black five pointed star. The whole outfit really complimented his brazen skin and short spiked black hair that had silver spots in it.
"Presenting now Miroku the six tailed kitsune monk," Miroku took a deep breath before making his way out to the awaiting crowd of minor and major lords. Miroku decided not to adorn his usual monk attire and instead wore a purple outfit: his inner shirt was the same color gold as Kenshi and his outer shirt was a dark purple which looked almost black, his pants were dark purple too with gold trimmings. On the back of his shirt stood a six tailed fox staring at the stars.
"Now announcing Sango the shadow snow kitsune," Sango always being the brave one out the group didn't hesitate to make her way out to awaiting crowd. Her kimono was a three layered one, the first layer was light maroon color, the second was a really light goldish color, and the top kimono was white that faded into lavender at the end. The designs held a white fox with a green collar, its pupils were a teal color and instead of white around the eyes it was black. The fox sat staring with a predatory gleam in its eye.
"Lady Kagome if you will allow it please let me walk out with prince Pyro and Shippo. As pack I feel that I must protect them." Kiara asked as she stepped next to them.
"Thank you Kiara and please drop the honorifics, we are pack and there is no need for such." Kagome stated.
"Shippo we must not show them any fear but I as the oldest will be by your side and our sister shall be with her sire so she will fine, ok?" Pyro spoke with calm state.
"Pyro, how old are you exactly?" Kagome interjected before Shippo could say anything.
""I am eighty summers this year mother. How old is Shippo" Pyro rebuffed.
"Oh I am fifty five summers big brother." Shippo said as he puffed out his chest.
Before anyone else could say anything the kids were being announced, "Now presenting Prince Pyro and Shippo who is being accompanied by Lady Kiara!" Both boy were dressed similar to one another except Shippo a red orange shirt and pants and his second layer shirt was a mint green with a three tailed fire fox on the back as to Pyro who wore bluish black shirt and pants and his second shirt color was silver who had a dragon wrapping around the outfit. Kiara kimono was simple and only had one layer; beige fading into a blood red at the bottom with black diamonds in different areas.
"Now pronouncing Lord of the western lands and his daughter Rin hime and allies to North!" Sesshomaru wore the same outfit he always wore and Rin was adorning a new kimono which had the west and northern colors. Rin wore a two layer kimono; the first layer was a bright red with flowers embroidered at the neck line and wrist area, the second layer was white that faded into bluish silver. On the back of the kimono a black inu with silver tips on its tail, paws, and ears laid in the grass but the inu had two tails instead of one.
"Now finally but last the northern long lost daughter has arrived, please provide your full attention to Kagome hime!" Kagome walked out towards the crowd like she owned the place, she showed no fear instead a piece of calm that helped exude the power flowing from her body. She also wore a two layer Kimono her first one was the same color as her eyes which are a sky blue but a little darker. The second was pink with a lightning storm underneath a bush stood on fire, a river laid across from it and the wind roughly blew, and the ground sat perfectly intact but while all this was going on a black shadow kitsune sat calmly as its nine tails all stood out. If you looked really hard you can see a pinkish blue veil covering the entire body.
"I must thank all of you for coming this evening to meet my lovely daughter. Unfortunately my mate, her father, and our son cannot be here but we shall all remember them as if they were here. Please feel free to talk amongst yourselves. But I must warn you I shall not tolerate any fights or looking down on anybody in my pack or those that can't defend themselves." Itachi announced before going about his business.
