Hangar
Las Cruzes, Mexico.
"Some vacation this turn out to be" Izumi thought to herself as she walked out of the shower and into the locker room. She took her towel off and put on a pair of small shorts, a lowcut tank top and a pair of hiking boots and then she walked towards a sink and took a long look at the mirror and as she was putting some make up on she was thinking about some of the stuff Seung Mi told her about her past.
"I'm glad to know Eiji is alive and I really want to bring him home... I hope I get past that cold man he was forced to live as" Izumi thought.
"You look confused" Seung Mi walked, she already changed into some clothes she borrowed from Izumi. Seung Mi was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a black low cut t-shirt and a pair of boots.
"I'm not sure I want to know the truth" Izumi responded.
"Look... It will be hard but it's something you need to know" Seung Mi said.
"I hate to admit it but you're right" Izumi grabbed her laptop from her bag and exited the locker room and headed towards the C-17 where her Nissan GT-R was stored, it was the only place where she could find privacy. She turned the laptop on and inserted the flashdrive, then she saw several files. One of them was labeled "Debriefing of Operation Freefall", Izumi clicked on the file.
"This is the final report on the debriefing of Operation Freefall led by the Japanese Defense Ministry in cooperation with the Republic of Korea's Intelligence Agency. Due to the recent abduction of several foreigners including Japanese nationals carried by agents from the DPRK (North Korea), we sent a small unit of operatives to gather intelligence on abductees and to eliminate top officials responsible. The operation was a success resulting in the deaths of several DPRK officials responsible of said abductions. These abductions were led by DPRK Colonel Hoon Yu Park. After finding enough evidence, Agent Kiyomi Nishimura attempted to apprehend Col. Park resulting in Park's demise with the help of a DEA agent. We have enough evidence to demand Pyongyang to return all foreign nationals to their countries of origin..."
"So mom was an spy... I can't imagine her doing that" Izumi said to herself, then she found dossier on her mother from back in the 80's, she clicked on the file.
Name: Nishimura Kiyomi
Date of Birth: October 15th
Place of Birth: Tokyo, Japan
Age: 20
Height: 1m 52cm (5'4 ft)
Weight: 49kg (110 lbs)
Specialized in martial arts and fluent in foreign languages (French, English, Mandarin and Cantonese)
Agent Nishimura was recently recruited due to her background in Judo as well as Chinese martial arts such as Baijiquan and Wushu due to time spent in China, also becuase of her fluency in foreign languages she was handpicked for Operation Freefall...
"These files were literally buried but why?" Izumi pondered, there was a link that had a dossier on a DEA Agent.
Name: Sean Russo
Date of Birth: April 5th
Place of Birth: Manhattan (Little Italy) , New York. U.S.A.
Age:23
Height: 1m 80cm (5'9 ft)
Weight: 77 kg (170 lbs)
The Drug Enforcement Agency suspected of a heroin route between North America and South East Asia. According to the DEA, the DPRK was also invloved in the drug trade and sent a task force to investigate. Their investigation led them right to our own findings, and their field Agent Sean Russo played an important role in our own operation...
Izumi looked at Sean Russo's picture and the resemblance was very uncanny... the same green eyes as her and some of her facial features. Sean Russo's picture showed him as a handsome man in his early 20's. He had brown hair, sleeked back in a low pony tail. He was wearing a pink t-shirt with a white blazer, that was the fashion statement as he looked like a character from Miami Vice or any of those popular cop shows at the time. He looked like someone who was very laid back... contrary to Joao De Souza... the man Izumi was led to believe as her father.
"This... isn't true... I just can't be" Izumi felt tears building up and she did her best on holding them back. She tried to find further information on Sean Russo but everything else was classified. All she remembered was that Seung Mi told her that Sean Russo was last seen in Colombia in the early 90's.
Seung Mi walked up to the Nissan GT-R and saw Izumi on the driver's seat.
"I hope the information was helpful" Seung Mi said.
"Seung... why is everything on Sean Russo classified?" Izumi asked.
"All I know is that he dissapeared in Colombia... if you add everything together... you might have an idea what happened" Seung Mi replied.
"What do you mean?" Izumi continued asking.
"Early 90's... the cocaine route was dominated by Colombia's very own Pablo Escobar... maybe Russo was sent there on assignament or maybe he flipped" Seung Mi answered.
Izumi was quiet.
"But now you know why you were targeted by the North Koreans... it was retribution against your parents... they only took Eiji by mistake" Seung Mi said.
"Thank you but I've heard enough" Izumi slammed the door of her car and turned the ignition and with a loud rev, she backed out of the C-17 and raced out of the hangar and into the desert.
"Damn that girl... she's as wreckless as McLeod said" Seung Mi said.
Dalton and Kira ran inside the plane.
"What a hell happened?" Dalton asked.
"She's in need for answers... to her past" Seung Mi replied.
"Don't tell me it's about Jae Kwan" Dalton said.
"I still can't believe Izumi is related to that bastard" Kira nodded.
"Hey, lads... we got company" Declan said over the radio. From a distance police sirens could be heard approaching. Kira pulled a pair of binoculars and saw a group of blue and white police cars racing towards the hangar.
"We've got visitors" Kira said calmly.
It was a matter of seconds before the Dodge Chargers police cars made their final stop at the hangar. They had "Policia Federal" displayed on each car, without a doubt they were Federal Police. The officers emerged from the vehicles with their guns drawn, one man in his late 30's wearing a business suit, sunglasses and his dark hair sleeked back looked at crew of misfit spies.
"I'll be damn" the man said.
Dalton looked at the cops "Things get better and better"
"Relax... I was counting on them coming over" Kira said.
"What a hell is going on?" Amanda took a glance at the federales.
The man walked with two officers towards the hangar where the C-17 was with their guns drawn.
"You're on violation of Mexican airspace and not to mention bringing wanted criminals" the man said.
"Alonzo Morales... I thought you'd retire by now" Kira said.
"You love taking risks but it's great to see you again" Alonzo gave a grin as he holstered his gun and waved his people off.
"You know him?" Amanda asked and Kira nodded.
"We go way back" Alonzo said.
"We met years ago, I was tracking down an arms dealer" Kira explained.
Alonzo got close "I got your message, that's one big mess you are in... but what I'd like to know is what is this doomsday weapon you're talking about"
"It'called Sky Arrow... it can cause earthquakes and these maniacs are gonna use it in L.A. day after tomorrow" Kira continued.
"I've heard about this Consortium but I thought it was all a myth" Alonzo said.
Kira and Alonzo walked back to the hangar while the rest of the federales stood guard. Inside the hangar Kira and Alonzo along with Dalton, Seung Mi and Amanda sat down in the office where Declan was seating down polishing a handgun.
"Who's the lad?" Declan asked.
"A friend" Alonzo replied.
"I can see that, mate but how are we benefiting from your visit?" Declan asked further.
"By not arresting your ass, fugitive" Alonzo replied.
"Don't mind him" Kira placed her hand on Alonzo's shoulder.
Amanda turned her laptop over to Alonzo's direction "As Kira already said, L.A. is their target right at the U.N. summit... so we need your help"
"You said earthquakes... does this have anything to do with this morning's earthquake in Cuba?" Alonzo asked.
"Yeah" Dalton replied.
"Yeah we barely survived" Jack walked into the room.
"Wait... were you there?" Alonzo asked.
"Me and my partner" Jack answered.
"I see..." Alonzo looked at the screen.
Kira sat down right across from Alonzo "You're the only one that can help us"
"Stopping a secret society that may not even exist... how?" Alonzo asked.
"We need weapons and safe passage to the U.S. where we can cross without alerting anyone" Kira replied.
"I think I may know someone... there's this small time arms dealer who can help you get weapons and a way in.. he used to supply some of the cartels here as well as providing them with smuggle routes into the U.S." Alonzo said.
"Where can we find him?" Dalton asked.
"There's a strip club at Las Cruzes... here's the address. The guy's name is Leo Santander, he' used to be with the special forces in the Spanish army" Alonzo gave a piece of paper to Kira.
"So the wanker is from Spain" Declan said.
"OK... I'm heading out there" Kira got up.
"I'm coming with you" Dalton said.
"What about Izumi? Should we look for her as well?" Seung Mi said.
"What happened to Izumi?" Jack asked.
"Is that the one who drove that GT-R like a maniac?" Alonzo asked.
"You saw her?" Kira inquired.
"We saw the Nissan GT-R and one of our officers tried to chase it but he was out runned" Alonzo explained.
"Declan... I need you to look for her" Kira said.
"Look for the spoiled princess? That's not my style" Declan scoffed.
"She has intel that we need" Amanda said.
"Fine... just don't complain if she ends up tied up inside the trunk" Declan replied.
"I'm coming with you" Seung Mi said.
"Fine... I enjoy the company from time to time" Declan walked out the door.
