There was an attack on the Sanctuary. The crazy bastards ran an eighteen wheeler through the gate and plowed through two of their box trucks and three cars before swerving into the guard shack and slamming into the building. Not only did the commotion draw in walkers but the back of the truck opened and let out at least fifty more. Bo witnessed the intruders running through the halls and killing everyone they came across. But they didn't destroy their brains - they were making an effort to stab them in the heart. So not only were they inundated with walkers but their own people were turning in record time of dying.
Bo grabbed a gun and started taking them out. She noticed that they all had 'W' carved into their foreheads. If she survived she was going to give Negan the biggest 'I told you so'. Instead of collecting wives and prostitutes he should've dealt with these psychos. Luckily she knew the ins and outs of the factory better than they did and managed to hold her own. The fires they set and the marauding walkers were a bigger problem. She thought she was making a dent when the people around her started getting bitten. Soon she was surrounded and out of bullets. Her arms were burning and tired from how hard she was chopping through them with her knife.
"Get down! Now!" Bo ducked and soon bullets went whizzing over her head. Someone had found a machine gun. Or two from the sound of it. When she looked up the room was clear of walkers. "Negan." She sighed as she ran to him. He presented her with more bullets from the armory.
"Ready?"
"Hell yes."
It took nearly two days to drive the wolves out, put down all the walkers and clear out the Sanctuary. Bo only saw Simon a handful of times. Screaming orders at people and keeping them on their feet through the grueling days that followed. The fence needed to be repaired and they added concrete reinforcements to keep it from happening again and built a guard post out on the main road. Around the second straight week of work Bo was finally able to get back to her regular job.
Bo took a head count and they lost nearly half of their work force. There had been a fire in her office and a lot of her maps and paperwork had gone up. The charging station for the walkie-talkies was damaged along with half the walkies. And worse yet Carrie had been murdered by a wolf at her desk. Bo just sighed when she found her charred corpse. What few soldiers she had left in her platoon helped her clear it out. The list of things that needed to be repaired and replaced was ten pages long - back and front. Fortunately half the stuff needed could be taken from their outposts but all the running around depleted their food and gas pretty fast.
"Take Simon, hit up the Library and the Hilltop. They're just about due anyway." Negan said as he personally checked all of his wives for injuries.
"I'd rather take—"
"Anyone other than your man because the two of you got into some stupid fight and you haven't spoken to him in two weeks?" Negan asked as he glanced at her. "Take Simon. I don't give a shit that your genitals aren't getting along right now." He stopped when he hands touched something wet. He turned the girls arm over and saw the distinctive bite mark circling her elbow. Bo took a step back - now that she looked at the woman she didn't look right. "Meagan…" Negan started as he stood up.
"No! It's not a bite. I'm not sick. One of those guys with the 'W' on his head tried to take a bite out of me."
"Looks like he did." Negan said as he pulled his knife out of his belt. "We killed a lot of those guys - was he a roamer when he tried to bite you?" The woman was starting to panic. She looked around, trying to think. Negan's grip on her arm was getting tighter and his expression had turned dark.
"I don't know. It was chaos." She said.
"Bo." Negan said and nodded towards his wife. Bo stepped up and touched her forehead. She suddenly flailed and tried to bite Bo's hand. Negan put his knife through her temple in one swift movement. She only let out a squeak as she died. Negan pulled his knife out and let her corpse fall to the floor. "Did she get you?" Negan asked as he grabbed Bo's hand and looked at it.
"No." Bo answered quietly. Negan let out a long sigh of relief.
"She's the third one I had to put down." He said as he looked down at her body.
"I'm sorry." Bo said before she patted him on the back. Negan never cried, never even teared up. He said he had shed his last tear the day the real Lucille died. He shut down that part of him and kept moving. But she could still see the sadness he felt. Just as soon as it was there in his eyes it was gone.
"Don't be." He said as he bent down. He used the hem of her dress to clean off his knife before putting it back in his belt. "I'll find another." Bo tried not to be affected by his glib attitude but honestly he was right. His 'wives' were just cute women with no discernible skills or abilities. They had volunteered to be meaningless sex objects and in the end that's all they were. If he had to put down three of them it was clear they couldn't even protect themselves. Honestly they would be a liability if he cared for them. Instead he shook off their deaths and kept moving. "You on the other hand… I can't afford to lose. So take your scary boyfriend and get supplies."
"You got it."
The ride to the library was brutally quiet. Bo was seated between Simon and Fat Joey - who was driving the truck. She wanted to tell him that all of the things they said the other day didn't matter. But it was already so awkward with Joey there - she didn't want to talk about their private lives in front of anyone. Joey was already sweating in the crowded space. He wasn't really cut out for confrontation but they needed his size to intimidate the colony. Bo glanced over and Simon was gazing out the window. His index finger tapping his thigh absently. She thought about asking him to stop making that noise just to be able to speak to him. Just so he'd look at her.
"Umm… Ms. Bo?" Joey said and she looked at him. "Right or left?"
"Take a left." She instructed. When he turned Bo was pushed against Simon. He was looking at her now but she avoided his gaze as she righted herself. They made it to the library and told the workers there what they needed. There were the usual dirty looks as the Saviors went about looking through their stuff for what they needed. As usually they split up and half the team went to handle the walkers in the area.
"So what are we getting from you if we let you have those books?" Bo barely glanced up at the man that spoke to her. She looked over the book she was skimming before she showed Fat Joey something.
"Can you build that?" She asked.
"Yes, ma'am." He answered obediently. She shut it and moved to set it on the stack already in his arms but the man standing there grabbed her wrist. He took the book from her.
"I asked you a question, girl." He said. She snatched away from him and in the same movement chopped him right in his Adams apple. Before the other members of his group could move to back him up Bo pulled her gun and pointed it at them.
"Are you listening? Cause I'm not gonna repeat myself." She said calmly. "If I decided you get nothing for your books, you'd take it and thank me. But you're lucky. We're 'giving' you what you're going to get right now. We're making your area safer so you don't have to worry about walkers while you continue to work for us. Also, this is a library - you wouldn't 'own' these books no matter what you might think. You just live here. And Negan is allowing you to live here. Otherwise, he'd wipe you guys out and put our people here and I wouldn't have to waste two minutes of my life explaining simple shit to you." Bo finally looked at all of them. Besides the man that spoke to her there were five other men, two teenagers, and four grown women. They appeared to be in good shape - they didn't look half starved or dirty or even scared. This was exactly what Simon was trying to tell her. She couldn't be nice to them when they acted like this. She wasn't about to let anyone strong arm her.
Bo took another look at the women. She stopped on one with dark straight hair. She appeared to be so comfortable in her life that she kept up the maintenance on her hair by neatly cutting a very straight fringe. "You. Stand up." Bo instructed. When she didn't move Bo pointed her gun at her. The woman couldn't get out of her seat fast enough. "Come here. What's your name?"
"T-Tanya." She stammered. Bo looked her over before she took her hand.
"Congratulations, Tanya. You're moving up in the world." Bo said.
The ride back to the Sanctuary was made even more awkward by the extra person in the already cramped cabin. Simon was practically hanging out the window in an attempt to not be breathing directly in Tanya's face. He glanced at Bo and she seemed oddly happy. "Found yourself a pretty girlfriend." He commented.
"Oh, I'm not gay." Tanya said quickly.
"Neither am I. Shut up, Simon." Bo dismissed it quickly. Her shortness with him put an end to anything else that might have been said afterwards. If it hurt his feelings he hid it well and went back to looked out the window. Once they got back he busied himself unloading their haul. "Study up, Joey. Negan will want results."
"Yes ma'am." He said before he scuttled away with his new books.
"You've got him trained already." Negan said as he approached her. His lips quirked into a small smile when he saw a new face. "And who might this be?"
"This is Tanya. Tanya, this is Negan." Bo introduced them. "She's for you."
"What?" They both gasped.
"I am not— you can't just give me away like a pair of shoes." Tanya said as she glared at Bo.
"You're more than welcome to go back to the library." Bo said as she gestured to the gate. It was already dark and she looked around as if she were looking for anything that might protect her on the trek back to her former home. "Or you can stay here and talk to Negan. Who knows, you might like what he has to say." Tanya looked at him.
"Come on, I promise I don't bite." He joked as he extended his hand. Bo smiled - he could be quite charming when he wanted to be. If she didn't know what a jerk he could be she might actually fall for his bullshit. Tanya seemed to already be buying into it. Bo tried not to laugh at them. She knew by the end of the night Tanya would be in for whatever Negan promised her.
"So you're collecting women for him now?" Simon asked once they were gone.
"The wolves cost him four wives - he's depressed, can't you see that?" Bo answered his question with another question. "Things go smoother when he's happy." She turned to him. "Besides didn't you tell me to 'get with the program'? This is me 'not being the honey'."
"So if I was right then why are you still pissed at me?"
"Because fuck you - that's why!" Bo suddenly screamed at him. Simon got an odd look on his face when she said that. The other men in the yard turned to watch them when she raised her voice. They all froze - no one yelled at Simon like that without getting a haymaker to the nose. "Oh what? You eye ballin me?"
"You're gonna get it." He growled and jabbed a finger at her.
"Bring it!" She egged him on. The other man were shocked when Simon suddenly advanced on her. They didn't know whether or not they should help Bo. After all she was so much smaller than him. And she let out a high pitched scream when he pounced on her. Negan made it clear that no harm should come to women but Bo was one of his lieutenants - she got that job by being able to handle herself. Some of the men knew about their relationship and getting in the middle of their lovers quarrel was ill advised. They were relieved when Bo started giggling. Simon whirled her around to reveal he was just tickling her.
"Yell at me - this what you get you little brat." Simon said before he blew a raspberry on her neck.
"Ah! No, Simon! Stop it!" She couldn't help but laugh but it was torture.
"Showing your ass and yelling at me in public - what you got to say for yourself, missy?" He asked. He stopped for a moment and she looked at him.
"Boop!" She chuckled as she pressed her index finger to his nose. He growled and pretended to bite her.
"You're so lucky you rock my world or I'd skin you alive you little shit." He said. "Hmm? Who's a little jackass? Is it you? Yes it is." He teased as he pinched her cheek.
"You like a jackass, so what does that say about you?" She joked. He glared at her and the other men tensed again. Simon had a very serious temper - they had seen it first hand come from nowhere and consume him. He was like Negan - when his smile faded you better pray you weren't the reason why. But at the same time they had seen him kick the crap out of someone with a smile on his face. "Wanna blow job?" Bo asked. And just like that Simon's smile was back.
"Well I ain't gonna say 'no'." He said before he looked at his soldiers. "Hey you - would you refuse a blowjob from this gorgeous jackass?" The man froze - he knew that question was a trap. If he said no, Simon would accuse him of trying to steal Bo from him. If he said yes then he'd accuse the guy of being too good for his woman.
"I see you'd rather sit out here and torture your men so I'm gonna go." Bo said as she headed inside. She got two steps away from Simon before he scooped her up and hauled her over his shoulder.
"Naw, I choose the hummer. Unpack this shit and lock up for the night." Simon ordered before he went inside. Bo tried not to chuckled as he walked around pretending he didn't have her flung over his shoulder. He stopped to talk to Bud who seemed annoyed by his antics. Bo grabbed his butt and he hurried along to their room. He shut the door and put her down. Simon kissed her slowly and grinned wide when he pulled away. "On your knees." Bo just bit her bottom lip as she eased down to the ground.
"Y'know I don't even kneel for Negan." She said as she unbuttoned her shirt a little. Simon unsnapped his belt and his pants.
"Not like this - you better not." Simon said. He cupped her chin and made sure she was looking at him. "Y'know I love you right?"
"I do." Bo answered. "Now show me how much by fucking my face and cumming down my throat." Simon snorted.
"Say 'Ah'." He instructed.
"Ahhh…" Bo opened her mouth and moaned when Simon slid his cock inside. He was actually surprisingly gentle - moving slow and easy. He never went very fast when Bo gave him control. Simon savored it. He gripped her hair tightly though - using it to guide her.
"Lift your tongue… oh, that's the magic spot right there." He moaned absently and as he sped up slightly. Bo moved her tongue firmly against the underside of his cock with every pass. She only took about half his cock in her mouth until she got warmed up. "Mm… shit I'm close already." He looked down at her and she gave him a thumbs up. "Oh, you ready? Ok." On his next pass he went even slower - pushing in until he was all the way in her mouth. He could feel the tip of his cock hit the back of her throat. It constricted around him but she didn't gag - she didn't even tense as he continued to rub back and forth quickly.
"Mmmph!" She moaned loudly and it made everything vibrate. Her saliva making an extremely wet sound. Simon bent forward and gripped her hair tighter.
"Holy shit!" When he cried out she just kept humming. "Oh shit baby… Oh that's it." Bo loved his helpless noises. His voice got higher and his careful, slow movements got choppy. There was no stopping it now. He was cumming and it was making him scream and scrunch up his face from the intensity. Bo pulled back a little so she could feel him shoot across her tongue.
Simon actually tasted good. Just the right balance of sweet and salty. Tangy and bitter despite his taste in alcohol. It was only on her tongue for a second or so before she swallowed. An act that just made the suction of her lips tighter. Simon howled. Bo got a deep satisfaction from the look on his face. She had made him blush. His thick brow was pursed together and his mouth hung open as he panted.
"Oh… shit yeah." Simon sighed as he came down. Bo could feel his cock twitching between her lips. He was still leaking. Bo flicked her tongue over his slit and he jittered. She knew he had to be overly sensitive after such a strong orgasm but she kept doing it until he pulled her hair. "God damn, stop. That's agony." He pleaded as he eased out of her mouth. She just grinned and licked her lips slowly. Simon watched her like he had never seen anything more erotic in his life. "I've been holding back that flood for two weeks."
"What? Why? I jerk off every morning while I'm brushing my teeth." Bo joked. Honestly she didn't do it every morning but she certainly hadn't abstained for the two weeks it took them to clean up the Sanctuary and get over their disagreement.
"That's because you are a dirty little nympho." Simon said as he finally release her hair. He cupped her face and bent over. "But you're my dirty little nympho."
"You know it baby." She grinned before she kissed him.
"I'd be in charge of the entire outpost and everyone in it." Paula said. "With us that far out we can go further west for supplies. As far as we know it's untapped."
"I'm glad you're excited. I just don't want you to be so far away." Bo pouted. Paula hugged her tight.
"I know. But any time you wanna talk I'll have a walkie." Paula said. "And we're only an hour away."
"I'm only letting you go because you promised to take Molly with you." Bo rolled her eyes when she heard the older woman letting out one of her horrible coughs. "We still don't know if more of those 'W' freaks are out there. After what they did at Shirewilt—
"I know its your job to worry but don't. We'll be fine. No one is going to fuck with a building full of rough ass bikers with five night guards. Plus that outpost used to be an old Satelite farm - place looks creepy enough to ward off even the williest of intruders. We're armed to the teeth. We are Negan." Bo nodded in agreement. Word of their group had been spreading and they found Negan's name struck fear in the people who heard about him.
"You'll be fine." Bo agreed. They hugged one last time before she got in the truck and rode out with her crew.
"It's always hard when babes leave the nest." Negan said as he strolled up and put his arm around her shoulders. "Come on, I'll let you win at ping pong."
"Wow!" Bo said sarcastically. Despite that they both turned to go inside to the game room. Halfway through their game there came a frantic call over the walkies.
"Major! Come in!"
"You got me, Hiro. What's wrong?" Bo asked.
"The quarry is empty!" He said. "The trucks are gone, all the walkers are gone - there's nothing."
"Stay there. I'm on my way." She said.
"Hey wait, do you forfeit?" Negan asked.
"No way. Put a pin in this game. We'll finish it later." Bo said as she switched channels on the walkie. "Baby, are you there?"
"Um, Major this is Jason. Your 'baby' is busy with an insubordinate librarian."
"When you guys are done meet us at the quarry. Somethings up."
Bo wouldn't have believed it if she hadn't seen it with her own eyes. From the spent shell casings and the massive trail of blood and mud someone had purposefully opened the quarry and led the walkers out. "The truck went over first." Negan said as he pointed out the up-ended eighteen wheeler at the bottom of the cliff. "The one down here was taken - probably used to lure them down the road."
"Outpost Bravo, reported hearing what sounded like a trucks air horn yesterday. Sounded off like it was stuck." Simon said as he looked at the little notepad in his hand. He flipped it closed and put it back in his pocket. "Coming from the south - where that abandoned mall was gonna be. "Outpost Tanner says every time they go back for more of those metal plates there's more and more foot prints from non-roamers and less and less of that metal."
"Someones building a wall." Bo said. "We should have done that here."
"We should follow the trail." Negan pointed out as he took up his walkie. "Little Timmy - where are you and your dick brigade?"
"Hey boss, we're stuck at Redding - some asshole put a big metal fence in the road. The fuck is this?" Came a static reply from the other end. They all looked at each other.
"Are there walker tracks on the other side?"
"Hang on… Yeah God damn, the whole road is a mess."
"Follow it!" Negan yelled. "Someone is fucking with us. Repeat we are on high alert." He switched to all of their channels and reported that someone had emptied the quarry and mobilized over 3,000 walkers. If it was the wolves again they could load up the rigs they stole with walkers and easily wipe out their outposts with a flood of roamers. And if it were someone they didn't know well then who the hell were they to pull off such a huge feat right in their backyard. "Simon, Bo - you two stick together. Take the long way around and link up with your crews. Arat you're with me. Move out!"
Simon grabbed Bo's hand and led her back to his pick up truck. They took the alternate routes around trying to determine which way the herd had been led off too. It was dangerous using the roads they didn't clear on the regular but it was the only way to get ahead of what ever was happening on their main avenues. While they were out there came a call that Dwight had run off with his wife, sister-in-law and all the meds they could carry. They were sure they could hear Negan curse loudly through the air. He was pretty calm when he ordered Wade and his group to go after them. They weren't the brightest bulbs in the bunch - Cam reminded Bo of Lenny from Of Mice and Men. All of them seemed to be backwoods cliches but they were all that was available.
"Dwight certainly knows how to take his opportunities." Bo said.
"He's a gutless piece of shit. His sister-in-law is gonna die without meds and his wife ain't exactly Xena. You know how dangerous it is out there with dead weight like that. Plus this huge herd is on the loose… They'll be back. Little sis will realize there are worse things than being 'married' to Negan."
"He proposed?" Bo laughed.
"He needed a new redhead, apparently."
"He loves being 'needed' doesn't he."
"Everyone loves that, baby." Simon said as he grabbed her hand. She laced their fingers together and smiled. She loved that he wasn't seduced by that 'harem' bullshit. Most guys went above and beyond just to get a free pass from Negan - spending their hard earned points on pussy and booze. If they were smart they'd find a free woman they didn't have to pay for. But then again a lot of Negan's crew were shiftless crumb-bums who were as charming as a wet paper bag. "You got all quiet - where'd your mind go?" He asked derailing her train of thought.
"Just thinking… gonna be a crazy week."
