Chyna: Dang it! It took me 10 days to write this T_T

Yumi: Epic tag duel time!

Chyna: Actually I lied about Chapter 26 being the last chapter before the WDC. Basically Celtic Yugioh Fangirl thought Asaya would be appearing in Chapter 25 as a Number Hunter and I'm pretty sure most of my other readers think Asaya is a Number Hunter as well. So this chapter should clear up all queries you have about Asaya's role XD

Asaya:...YOU MEAN THIS IS A ME CHAPTER?!

Chyna: Yep! This is from Asaya's POV and is a side story to the current plot of YTS. You guys don't have to read it if you don't want to but it does introduce a new OC of mine who appears later in this story with Mr. Cole Johnson! This chapter is NOT in Yumi's diary and Yumi has no knowledge of this chapter existing.

Yumi: Yes I do!

Chyna: YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Oh and I've decided to host a small Q & A next chapter. Basically while you're reviewing this chapter, ask me any question you want about the future of YTS or any of my stories or just generally. I shall answer your questions in my Author's Notes before starting the chapter.

Asaya: Chyna Costello does not own me. K.I.T.T. Rider does.

Warning: This chapter contains so much bad language that it doesn't even sound like I wrote this, which I did!

I pulled up to Kaito's lair (actually its a laboratory but lair seems more suitable) on my bike. It had been two months since I had last seen him and Haruto in Heartland Tower, we had a really nice day together eating caramel cubes and just walking around before that bastard Mr. Heartland took Haruto away again! It's not fair! Why doesn't he want Haruto to spend time with his siblings?! I refused to let them take Haruto away but these guards picked me up and discarded me like a piece of trash.

That pissed me off so much that I kept putting off visiting Haruto and two months just seemed to fly by (that and I went on tour with the 'Stunt Circus'). I was also concerned about Kaito because he hasn't made any attempts to contact me and we usually talked to each other at least once a week via Duel Gazer. As I dismounted off of my bike, I realised that the entire building had been turned to rubble. What the hell happened to this place? And where's Kaito?

"Nrgh…ahhh…" I heard someone grunting and wincing as I approached the condemned building.

"I've nearly got all this shrapnel out of you Kaito-sama." A robotic voice chirped and I automatically knew that it was Orbital 7.

Shrapnel in Kaito? What has he been getting up to?

I ran over to the source of the voice and I nearly gasped at the sight before me, Kaito was shirtless with all these cuts and bruises on his torso; there were even bits of metal poking out of his back. Orbital 7 had a small petri dish next to him and he appeared to be pulling all the bits of metal into it, all of them were covered in blood. Kaito appeared to be in a great amount pain as his face was covered in a thin film of sweat and he was biting his bottom lip so hard that it was bleeding.

"Yeah, well hurry up! I need to get back to hunting Numbers and see Heartland about getting my laboratory rebuil-ow!" He spat as Orbital plucked out another piece of shrapnel.

"Kaito Tenjo what the fuck have you done to yourself?!" I demanded before placing both of my hands on my hips and shooting him my most deadliest death gaze.

"Nee-chan! Ow sonofabitch!" Kaito immediately stood up just as Orbital was pulling out the last piece of shrapnel. A steady stream of blood trailed down his back and dripped onto some broken concrete.

I pulled out my handkerchief and tried to staunch the moderate flow of blood.

"What are you doing here?" Kaito inquired as I examined the rest of his back.

I've gotten some fairly bad injuries in my time because of my career but seeing Kaito like this is just weird!

"Straight to the point I see, no 'hello' or 'how are you' as per usual. I haven't seen you or Haruto for two months because of that tour, but I'm back in Heartland now and this is the welcome I get? Your standards are slipping." I tutted, "Orbital could you hand me your first-aid kit please?"

"Right away Asaya-sama." Orbital opened up his chest and I took out a small green box with a white cross on it. I opened it up so that I could take out a few rolls of bandages.

"I'm fine! Can you stop worrying?! I need to get back to…" He paused, so I took that as an opportunity to use some antiseptic spray on his wounds before bandaging his back.

"Back to what exactly? And don't lie to me because you've never been a good liar." I pursed my lips.

He ducked his head down and sighed, "I've messed up so badly Asa-nee."

I've never seen Kaito look so tired and defeated. I mean sure the last time we met he had dark circles under his eyes and his skin seemed paler than usual, but he never complained so I assumed he was alright…

"What do you mean?" I got some tape and used it to secure the bandages because I suck at knotting some shit.

Kaito's head fell into his hands, "A few months ago, Mr. Heartland took Haruto and told me that unless I collected all these special cards called 'Numbers', I would never be able to see Haruto again. Then when I asked him why, he said it was under Dr. Faker's orders and when I questioned Faker, he told me Haruto was sick.

"At first I didn't believe him but Haruto changed from a bubbly child to a depressed state of his former self. Soon after that, he began to lose his memories from the time we used to live in that cottage and how he used to love hot chocolate. As soon as I noticed all of this, I went back to Faker and he…he…he experimented on me so that I would be able to collect the Numbers without being influenced by them, using something called 'Photon Change'. But what Faker never told me was that each time I used it, it was actually killing me. However if I don't use it then I won't be able to collect Numbers and if I can't collect Numbers then I have failed Haruto as his onii-san."

Once Kaito had finished, I grabbed the first-aid kit and threw it into the distance.

"A-Asaya-sama," Orbital exclaimed as I shot another death glare at him.

"Orbital, take me to Heartland Tower now! I'm going to have a 'little chat' with Dr. Faker! Kaito I want you to go to Hotel Heartland and go to Room 4835, here's the room key." I tossed the small yellow and green card at Kaito which he caught.

I was currently staying in a hotel because I had gotten into an argument with Danny (the leader of Stunt Circus) and I would die before I apologise for something I didn't do. Plus I didn't want to inconvenience Kaito.

"What are you planning?" Kaito stood up, so I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Something I should have done months ago! You can take my bike and I'll come meet you in an hour, Orbital you're coming with me." I quickly picked up the small (but heavy) robot and ran away with him before Kaito could protest.

Once we got a decent distance away from him, I placed Orbital onto the ground. "Alright Orbital, what's the quickest way to get to Heartland Tower?"

"F-flying but-" I stopped him.

"Then let's go!" I exclaimed before Orbital hooked himself onto my back and the next thing I know, we're in the air. I tried my best not to look at the ground because I have a mild fear of heights.

Within a matter of minutes, Orbital had landed us in front of Heartland Tower.

"Here we are Asaya-sama, b-but I must warn-" I didn't even let him finish his sentence because I was already walking into the building.

"A-Asaya-sama, this extremely unorthodox!" The robot wheeled up next to my side and I just ignored him because I was just way too angry.

As soon as you walked into Heartland Tower, you were placed on this moving carpet that was heading towards…I suppose 'control panel' of this place before stopping next to a circle which you stepped on to be transported to the next room. I stepped onto the circle with Orbital and we were soon in the main body of the building.

"Asaya-chan, what are you doing here?" Droite asked me as I pushed past her.

Droite was nineteen and she's like Mr. Heartland's right hand woman because running Heartland City is a huge job. I know this'll sound a bit weird but I thought Droite was quite attractive because she carried herself with such elegance. She has shoulder-length black hair with lighter purple highlights, with several fringes coming down past her hazel eyes. Her clothes consisted of a pink blouse with a purple undershirt, a white business suit, and purple tights with black spike high heels with an anklet around her left ankle.

We were on quite good terms with each other, but if she gets in my way at this moment then I will not hesitate to use force.

"Out of my way Droite, I need to talk to Heartland!" I snarled before Gauche appeared behind me and pinned my arms behind my back.

"Calm down sweetie pie." Gauche joked before I growled at him and tried to bite him.

"Let go of me you shithead!" I hissed at him.

Gauche is Droite's partner and the man is so ripped. He has dark and light red hair that is shaped like a flame (it's hard to describe okay!), tanned skin and purple eyes. He wore a black and dark red trench coat with a high collar over a red shirt (it was so tight it revealed his bulging muscles) with dark red trousers, black shoes and black gloves.

"Still as delightful as ever I see, what are you doing here with Kaito's robot? Shouldn't you be with those motor heads?" Gauche enquired as I used the heel of my foot to hit his groin.

He released me almost immediately to shield his groin, "You're such a bitch!"

"And you're a dick, glad we've established the basics. Now where is Mr. Heartland?" I demanded, just as I felt another presence enter this room.

"Oh God what is she doing here?" I nearly grit my teeth together from the sound of her voice.

Oh lord not her! The last time we met I punched her in the nose so hard, it got broken. It's one of the many reasons why Mr. Heartland hates me.

I turned around reluctantly and looked straight into her violet eyes. "I could say the same about you Akane. Nice nose by the way, how much did it cost?"

A deep blush covered her cheeks, "This is my real nose! It healed up rather nicely, no thanks to you breaking it! I had to get it placed and everything! You're such a spoiled brat Asaya Tenjo, just because your tou-sama created Heartland City!"

That bitch! She has the nerve to call me a spoiled brat?! The girl thinks she's a fucking princess just because her fucking tou-sama is Mr. Fucking Heartland!

I walked in front of her, looked her straight in the eyes, pulled my fist back and punched her nose once again. I took great satisfaction in the 'crunching' sound it made and all the blood that gushed out of it.

"My nose," she wailed as Droite rushed over to her.

"Dip your head forward, was that really necessary Asaya? You can't keep punching Akane-san in the face over these trivial spats. Come on," Droite led her out of the room, so I took that as an opportunity to blow lightly over my knuckles which stung a bit.

"And where is the 'supreme ruler' anyway? I'll leave once he sees me!" I exclaimed.

Mr. Heartland took that moment to appear out of the side door that Akane and Droite had just exited from. He looked pissed…

"Gauche, why was my daughter being escorted by Droite with a bloody face?" He boomed as I waved my hands.

"Hey douchebag, where the fuck is my dickheaded tou-san?" I yawned.

I almost laughed at the expression on his face, he looked like he wanted to hit me.

"Asaya, it's always a pleasure to see you. Dr. Faker is-" I interrupted him.

"You better not say busy or else I'm going to pay another visit to your daughter and this time, I think I might go for one of her arms. She duels with her right hand doesn't she? Be a real shame if her pro dueling career has to take a 'short' break." I smirked as I put my hands on my hips.

"Walk down the end of that corridor and there should be a lift. Take the lift and it'll take you straight to Dr. Faker." He informed me.

I nodded at Heartland and winked at Gauche before following his instructions and walking out of the room, with Orbital following me.

"Asaya-sama, I can't b-believe you did that." Orbital chirped.

"I did what I had to, I need to help Kaito using any means necessary. If it means having to kick a few crotch's, break a few noses or threaten a few people, then so be it. I'll do whatever it takes to help Kaito, now are you coming?" I asked before stepping onto the white pad.

As soon as Orbital had stepped onto the pad with me, we were quickly lifted up onto the top floor of Heartland Tower and straight into Faker's gaudy laboratory (I know, it's weird how I'm the only person in my family without a laboratory).

"Oi Faker, show yourself!" I hollered, "Come out come out wherever you are! If you're not here in ten seconds then I'm trashing this place. One, two, thre-"

"Must you cause chaos every time you come here? I've never had this problem with Kaito." Faker turned around on his throne in order to face me.

I growled at him, "And that's why Kaito is dying! You knew he would do anything to save Haruto, even if it meant himself suffering in return! And another-"

"Are you finished?" He blurted out as my fists began to clench and unclench.

Calm yourself, if you hit him now then he'll never give you the Photon Change.

"Almost, I want the Photon Change and I'm not leaving without it!" I stomped my foot to emphasise my point.

"…is that all? Why would you do that? You obviously don't care enough about your brothers, you've been gone for how long?"

I can't believe he has the nerve to talk back like this? How dare he?!

"You know what? I hate you. I hate you so goddamn much you don't deserve to be called my tou-san! You just spend everyday in this dumb place doing these dumb experiments, you don't have the right to tell me off! Now give me the Photon Change because we both know that it'll benefit you as well. Think about it, you'll be able to collect Number cards twice as fast; especially since that new duel tournament of yours is coming up. Let me guess, it's just a ploy to bring more Number cards to Heartland City where it'll be easy to catch them all it one place." This was total guesswork on my part but the look of his face told me that I was correct.

"Hmmm, I have to admit that that is a rather convincing argument. Fine lie down on this gurney and I'll get started." He walked into the corner of the room and wheeled over the long silver table.

Thankfully the mattress on it looked clean and had a white paper sheet on it. I placed my hands onto the gurney and pushed myself onto it before laying down on it. There was a large metal machine under it and Faker started to insert all these different needles into various parts of my body. I've never liked needles, so I had to scrunch my eyes closed during the entire process.

"Are you ready?"

"Get on with it!" I snapped.

With a sigh and a 'click', I could feel something flowing into me and it hurt! I'm not normally a screamer (you can't afford to be when you're in my line of work) but I was gripping the sides of the gurney while screaming like a madwomen. The worst part of it was that it felt like it lasted forever, it was like time didn't exist and all that existed was pain. Eventually the pain started to fade away, but it was a slow process. By the time my body stopped hurting, my body was completely soaked with sweat and I was heavily panting. I took deep breaths in order to fill replenish my lungs.

I knew I probably looked like utter shit at this moment, so I ripped all of the tubes and needles out of my body. Big mistake, it hurt more coming out of my body than going in. I had to bite the insides of my cheeks to stop myself from screaming again. I then jumped off from the gurney and stumbled against the wall.

"You may feel tired, sore and suffer from cotton mouth but these are all normal side effects. I recommend you don't operate any machinery of any sort in your-"

"Fuck…you…" I choked out.

I felt really light headed, what was wrong with me? I hated showing my vulnerable side, especially in front of the man who lost the right to call himself a father, long ago.

"A-Asaya-sama, are you alright?" Orbital enquired as I managed to drag my body over to the lift.

"What does it look like you hunk of junk?!" I mumbled before being lifted back down into the corridors. I had to close my eyes in an attempt to shield them from the light; they had suddenly become very sensitive from the light.

The last thing I remember seeing was Orbital wheeling himself over to me.
