I grumbled in discomfort as I opened my eyes, slowly and groggily. "Ugh... wha...oww..." I groaned.
I was in my room, back at the palace. The sun was in its amber mid-afternoon phase upon the sky and the curtains were open, along with the window that invited a relieving breeze. I was still in my loose, black pants and my loafers were on the floor, and my top half of my robe was wrapped around my waist. I could hear the liveliness of my home outside of my room through the open door, and I decided to get up from bed.
As I walked, I put the black robe's top half back on and I brushed my hair back with my hand. "Mmm... How long was I out?" I asked aloud as I walked down the halls and slowly made my way to the living room.
I held my forehead in my hand as I made my way in there. The room was surprisingly empty, which literally threw me off. But at that moment, I only wanted to just sit down on my couch. And so I did, popping my neck while I sat. "I desperately need a vacation, and a drink." I complained.
I felt the footsteps on the carpet through my feet's sole nerves and I heard the sound of someone blowing air into a glass bottle and frost building quickly and subtly as I saw Akitsu's hand hold a bottle of sparkling water in front of me in one hand. "Be careful what you wish for." she said to me calmly.
I smiled as I looked up to see Akitsu smiling warmly to me again, love radiating from her beautiful face. I giggled a bit as I took the bottle and drank from it. "Hi, darling." I greeted as she sat down next to me.
She kissed my lips long and hard, breathing in and out in pleasure with me as we rubbed eachother a bit. I pulled out of the kiss after a minute, and I looked into her eyes. "Akitsu... I had the strangest dream." I confessed.
"What was it?" she asked in curious concern.
"Jon came in and montage parodied my rescue." I joked.
She smiled and breathed out through her nose, laughing subtly. "About that..." she began.
"Miss Suicune Lady, why'd you go inside?" I heard Jon's voice gurgle loudly from the patio.
I blinked many times in confusion. "What's a Suicune?" she asked me.
I facepalmed myself slowly and painfully. "A pokémon." I grumbled in irritation. "A...f***ing...pokémon."
"I heard that! Nathan better not be naked, Suicune Lady!" he chimed in, getting closer.
I chuckled uncontrollably as I shouted out. "God dammit Jon, her name is Akitsu!"
Jon walked in nonchallantly, holding a sandwich in his hand and smiling at me. "How'd you like the surprise?" he asked, like he was guilty.
"What surprise?" I asked.
"When I saved your ass by montage parodying your rescue on the bridge!" he exclaimed.
I remembered clearly what he meant then. Flying in and shouting in, "Mine mine mine mine mine mine mine!", he swooped in and unleashed a lightning bolt upon Karasuba and launched her into the ocean. In every way, he was referencing a youtube video he and I saw as high school kids. "Oh, right. Thanks, by the way, I was legit nearly dead." I thanked as we got up and I shook my hand with Jon's.
"So, are you all right?" he asked both seriously and jokingly, a favorite tone of voice for Jon.
"I'm fine, Kagayaki is very good at mending wounds. And all I suffered was a slash to the back." I answered as we walked our way to the back patio.
Everyone was there, Minato and his sekireis, Seo and his ladies, all of my family of sekireis, Miya, Yukari and Kagari- they were all at my palace having a good time, eating barbecue standard food with good drinks, alcoholic or not, and it was all celebration for our victory. They saw me walk out with Jon, and upon their viewing to me, I smiled and waved. "What's for breakfast?" I asked.
They all cheered and called out in joy as I got hugs, kisses and handshakes with all of my friends. Yukari and Minato were the most excited of the group because they were my girlfriend and one of my best friends. I smiles to them, happier to see them the most. "Hey guys." I greeted as Yukari leapt into my arms.
"Oh my god, your clothes are so soft." she told me as she snuggled tightly to me.
I chuckled and held her to me. "I can tell, sweetie." I joked as she kissed me deeply and quickly.
She was passionate, hungry and absolutely perfect in this romantic kiss. She was nothing short of a really good kisser, and I devoured her lips in mine. She pulled out of the kiss and we looked into each other's eyes. "I'm glad you're alright, Nathan." she admitted.
I smiled and gave her a big kiss. "I'm not easy to kill." I told her as I gently walked away from her.
I made my way to Tsukiumi and my other sekireis, standing there meekly and waiting for what I was going to say. But in truth, I wasn't so eager to simply speak yet. I thought that Tsukiumi would launch a hard water projectile at me, or Katsuragi would punch the lights out of me, or Midasu would implant ten years of home made nightmares into my brain; or worse, Shiina would literally kill me. But I simply gave them my usual smile and rubbed the back of my head, and I spoke. "You were all a really big help with getting Haruka and Kuno out of here. Thank you."
"What about me!?" Jon asked loudly and humorously.
I turned back to him slightly. "You were an unexpected element, you don't count."
"No fair. That's cheating."
"How the hell is it cheating?" I interrogated.
Before I could hear him answer, I felt a tug on my sleeve. Looking to my side, I saw Yukari holding onto my sleeve in one hand and she was facing the door to the inside, and her cheeks were very rosed up from blushing. So she pulled me into the house, I was stumbling and bubbling about as I was unexpectedly tugged into a bedroom by my girlfriend. "Y-Yukari, what're you doing? Please don't kill me."
She smiled and gave me a look with those entranced eyes of hers. "I'm not gonna kill you."
She closed the door behind us and walked over to me. "I think you deseve a little reward for your efforts, baby." she told me seductively as she kissed me.
I kissed back of course, and then I began to rub her body. She moaned into my mouth as I began to strip her of her clothing and I still kissed her deeply, our tongues dancing in each other's mouths. At this point, she was in her underwear and we were making out against a wall. We pulled out of the kiss, a string of saliva still connecting us for a few lingering seconds until it broke. I gazed into those affectionate and innocent windows to her soul and how hungry and loving her facial expression was. She was my best friend's sister, my only human girlfriend and she even had her own sekirei, just like I did. But I couldn't ask for anything more for an edition to my family. "I love you, Yukari." I professed to her.
She only became fueled by this. "I love you more." she argued.
I smiled as I kissed her once more and I felt a soft, energetic hand upon my manhood. "And I'm gonna prove it." she said as she pulled away and took off her underwear right in front of me.
As I did the same, it lit the flames for the passionate lovemaking that would later commence.

I stood on the other side of the street, smiling and simply gazing at it, while people walked and cars drove by, not even the city could interrupt my view of this business. Muramasa wasn't at my hip this time; but rather, Oriha held it in her hands, standing close to my side. All of my sekireis were there with me, and we all looked like some sort of strange theatre group acting even stanger than usual. The sun was held high upon the dome of the earth, the clouds were few and white, puffy and fluffy like most stereotypical clouds. The blue sky blazed on above us, alive and healthy in the change of seasons between spring and summer. The air was crisp, clear and the temperature was nice and all was good. Today was a beautiful day indeed.
I popped my neck a little bit, grunting in relief and pleasure as I continued to look at this beauty. "We've done it, ladies. We struck out, and we struck out good." I announced to them.
A vacant, empty building stood in front of us, ready for occupation and any and all use I desired. Occupation and use by me, and my mind's conjuration. "How the devil did you get this building? It must have cost something more than your pay grade." Tsukiumi asked and commented.
I chuckled as I gave her a confident smirk. "I was offered this, so stop demanding info." I joked.
She and I sneered jokingly at one another for a few seconds, until I smiled in a warm, satisfied way. "It's good to see you finally developed a sense of humor." I complimented as I took her hand and gave it a quick smooch.
I turned my attention back to my new building and I announced. "This is where we'll make it, girls."
Akitsu smiled and gave me a look of slight humor. "Master, are you sure you wish to make your business here?" she asked. "It's so far from our home and it's really close to MBI tower. It might draw the other ashikabis' attention. Unless you plan on being a celebrity." she chuckled in the cutest way.
I made a frame with my thumbs and first fingers, looking at the building. "I plan on making this a neutral ground area for all of us in this game, even those who were already terminated." I answered as I smiled intently. "And I really love that you're actually starting to be anything but monotonous when you talk." I commented.
I looked her way, the smile still being worn on my face. She gave me an icy-warm smile in response, with that rippling new sensation of love in those newly refined eyes of hers. "I'm glad, Nathan. I originally thought you wouldn't like any change in that." she replied.
"Yoohoo!" Yukari's voice cut in as I turned my head to the right and found her rushing over to us with Kagari in tow.
The stylish, silver haired sekirei was dressed in casual slacks and a somewhat looslely buttoned shirt, looking as saucy as possible to match with her lolita ashikabi. She wore her usual "post-high school girl" outfit, and I could almost feel that she was wearing something... inappropriate underneath it. Call it instinct. She got over to me, smiling and giggling at me. "Sorry it took me so long, baby. I overslept." she greeted.
I chuckled with joyous humor. "No, you guys got here just in time." I dismissed as I took Yukari's hand and kissed it. "C'mon, let's go into my new place, we'll set up all of the stuff." I offered.
" I agree, husband. I think people are looking at us." Tsukiumi affirmed.
And we walked into the building, seeing what would become a great place in my life.

I sat down that night on a chair in my front yard, holding a beer in my hand and drinking it moment by moment. The air was crisp and perfect temperature, the sky was clear with a little beautiful cloud dance that didn't really interfere with the moon and stars. I heard the little bit of watery movement as the fish and little ducks and ducklings moved to their sleep in the pond on the nearside of the front yard. Crickets didn't make any sounds, I only heard the slight whistle of the wind aside and the small humming of the amber-tinted lamp coursing power to illuminate my spot. "Hey, Nathan." Minato's voice called to me.
I turned my head to see him sitting in the chair next to mine, accompanied by Jon. "Jon, Minato. What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing really. Got my apartment already, so I don't need to stay here." Jon answered.
"I'm just glad you're okay." Minato said.
I chuckled. "Minato, I'm not Kusano. I can handle myself."
"Yeah, I saw." he responded. "The way you took on Karasuba, after she had given us a beating, it was incredible."
"Actually, I only did so much. Jon swooped down and knocked her into the river." I confessed as they took out their own drinks.
Minato looked over to Jon. "So who are you?" he asked.
He made no real facial expression aside from confusion at the obvious. "Jon. Nathan's friend from America."
I smiled humorously. "He meant 'what could you do'."
"Yeah, can you control bloodlight like Nathan can?" he asked further.
Jon looked over to me. "Bloodlight?"
I made some red energy pulse and dance in my hand. "It's a cool name I made up for my control over the Red Light of the Emotional Spectrum." I explained.
"Emotional Spectrum?" Minato asked.
"How much did you even tell him?" Jon asked.
"Not much." I said.
"Figured." Jon retorted as he made orange light pulse in his hand. "And no, I don't control the Red Light. I use the orange color of the Emotional Spectrum. Greedlight."
Minato looked at the two of us in awe. "Is this only for Americans, or...?" he asked.
"No, not necessarily. Akitsu could use the Blue Light of hope. Hopelight and glacial manipulation go well together." I answered.
Jon nearly jumped out of his seat. "Suicune Lady can use the Blue Light? There are so few left, that's incredible."
I squinted a bit. "Akitsu. And yes, she can."
Jon smiled a bit and the Greedlight blinked off. "I think I'm going to enjoy my time of being here." he announced.
I furrowed a brow. "And why is that?"
He grinned at me. "There could be a lot of treasure at the end of this. And I want to find out what it is." he answered. "And I'm sure the game is just beginning."
