Whoosh! A rush of wind comes in and smacks Tool Shed straight on in the forehead, only divided by his invincible, wood goggles. Nonetheless, he still shuts his eyes and keeps a firm grip on Butters. When finally he finds the courage to open them, he finds that the temperature of the place that they are in is quite warmer than that of South Park. Though that does not say very much. The world around them is filled with dead things, yet very much alive. The same red tentacles that grasped at them before they entered are all in the city as well. They stick up from the ground, giving the illusion of the cave that the three humans just stood in a couple of seconds ago. Except these wallop in endless, blind ellipses until they sense the vibration of a footstep near their base. Then they lasso up and attack in the direction of said footstep. The sky has an odd orange-ish horizon. A giant, skeletal creature flies across, casting a large shadow on the humans as they gawk up at an unseen sun. The bony-winged creature lets out an agonizing call to the ear despite accumulating no voice box to speak of.

Stan shudders, "So...um...what exactly do we do here?"

"That is exactly what I wondered the first time you forced us into this place!" Coon complains, annoyed. "Don't tell me you've lost connection with Human Kite. Oh my god, you did, didn't you? Great, now we're fucked! Oh well. It's worth being trapped here for eternity if it means getting to watch you douche bag suffer."

"Cartman, shut up," Tool Shed says dismissively and begins to walk off, leading the other two boys to nowhere in particular. "You're the one that made an alliance with Cthulhu. You're the only one it trusts. We have to find it so that you can talk it into giving us a safe place to stay while the danger boils over in South Park. I'll try to contact Kyle on the way there."

"Where the hell am I supposed to go?" Coon scrunches his eyes together tightly. They continue walking in a random direction as there is nowhere else they can think to go.

"Shush," Tool Shed focuses on the path in front of him, trying hard to regain a connection with his super best friend. "If we want any chance of recollecting with everyone else, you have to search for Cthulhu more quietly and let me concentrate..."

The rest of La Resistance sits restlessly but respectfully quiet inside of the cave. Most of them sit on the sides, lining the walls. Mysterion sits at the end of a long row of students, center-most. He looks at Kyle who sits in a deep trance next to him. He almost looks as if he is about to nod off when suddenly his bloodshot eyes open wide and his head lurches straight upward as if an electric surge just came up his body. "Kyle! Kyle, can you hear me?" Stan's voice echoes and flickers almost like the sound of a fading light.

"Stan! There you are!" Kyle nearly shouts out, his voice bouncing from each cave wall and catching the attention of the rest of his peers. Most of them look at him as though he has gone mad. Mysterion and Milly both look unsure. Bebe beams up at her her ex as he spazzes out, writhing on the musky ground to the sound of an unheard voice. Craig sighs, rolls his eyes, and takes out his phone, eyes glued to the brightly-lit screen against the darkness.

"Kyle!" Tool Shed echoes in his ear from presumably the city of R'lyeh. Human Kite swings his head blindly around, though he knows it is in vain. "We've made it to the city."

"Really?" Kyle breathes a huge sigh of relief and he can feel the rest of his class do the same when he confirms to them the good news. "Stan and the others have made it, you guys. They haven't been harmed. It seems like it's safe! Stan! You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that you're okay. It's rendering me breathless!"

"I think I have a pretty good idea," he hears Stan chuckle.

"No, really," Kyle comes back. Everyone continues to listen intently in on their conversation, albeit some begin to grow a bit impatient. A few start whispering to each other in the corner. Tweek whimpers and shakes pitifully while Clyde and Token silently express their disapproval. "I- wow- it's kind of awkward saying this now, and in front of everyone here that can here me but not you, so it also kind of seems like I'm talking to myself here, but...I'm just really glad you're not hurt."

Stan feels he has no choice but to stop ungracefully in his tracks at that confession. Then Coon and Professor unprofessionally bump into the back of him, annoyed. "Yeah, I know. I'm flattered. I'm glad we made it out okay too. But what about you guys? Is everything holding up back at the cave?" he asks, equally as concerned for his super best friend as he is for him while Cartman folds his arms and taps his foot equally as impatient.

"Of course it is! Why wouldn't it?" it's too late by the time Human Kite realizes that he just giggled. He looks around to see even more eyes trained on him, a little less bored than just a few seconds ago. Most are exasperated, though surprisingly not Craig's- he continues to ignore the whole debacle and scroll on his phone. Mysterion buries his face in his hands, embarrassed. Kyle can't see it, but across dimensions, over in the city and to the contempt of his two current companions, Tool Shed blushes as well.
