Chapter26 The End of the beginning
After a roller coaster few months the day Clare Alli Jenna Maya Tori and Becky had been waiting for was here, it was graduation day.
The plan for the crew was already put in place by Alex and Paige, after graduation the team was taking the jet to New York to begin the phase of their lives.
The crew had met at Degrassi for graduation with all the parents that could attend even new parents Holly J and Imogen attended the graduation with there wives because Laura had offered to take the kids and fly them to New York ahead of the team.
Alex and Paige had brought a three floor loft with eight suite style apartments for the crew to live in when they got to New York which was a surprise that had been in the works since Alex and Paige thought about giving control of the company to Fiona and Imogen.
After the prep was done and graduation started it was announced by Mr Simpson that Clare was Valedictorian.
After all the speeches and hat flipping the graduates broke off for one last walk around Degrassi.
"So Clare how does it feel to finally be done with Degrassi?" Darcy asked.
"Well its sad but at the same time happy I think I'm finally ready to move on."
"Speaking of moving on do you know what Becky is doing since we're going to New York?" Alli asked Clare.
"She told me was that she got into a school in Florida and is going to live on campus, she said her flight leaves at the same time as us today so we're all headed to the airport together."
"Alright speaking of moving on it looks like we better head out to meet the crew in front before Alex has our heads." Darcy commented.
Alli Clare and Darcy met up with the rest of the crew and Becky in front of the school where Alex and Paige were waiting by a stretch limo with their Red Phoenix jackets that they had picked up from the cleaners.
"Guys put on your jackets and lets take one last picture in front of Degrassi." Alex said as everyone put on their jackets.
Jenna noticed Becky just stood by the limo as Alex set the camera's timer.
"Hey Becks come join us."
"No thanks Jenna its for the crew go ahead."
"Becks for me please." Jenna begged.
"Okay fine I give."
Becky raced over in her cap and gown just as timer was about to go off.
After taking the picture everyone got into the limo and headed for the airport.
"Guys Paige and I took care of everyone's stuff already we had it shipped to the new place we got you guys and that includes you too Becky you always have a home with us." Alex said.
"But I'm going to Florida Alex."
I know Becky I had your stuff shipped there, and don't worry about a place to stay we set you up with a place just off campus its all yours."
"Thanks Alex."
The rest of the ride to the airport was spent talking about what people wanted to do once they got to New York.
Everyone was happy accept for Jenna and Becky where thinking about everything they had been through over the past few months.
With all the cars already in New York all the crew had to do was get there to start the rest of their lives the Coynes and Macphersons were eager to get home to spend time with their kids who were there waiting for them.
After getting to the airport and through security all that was left was to bored the planes.
"Well guys this is it its goodbye Toronto, now lets get a moving its raining in New York." Alex said.
As everyone started heading for the plane Jenna spoke.
"Guys wait there's something I wanna do."
"Hurry Jenna Paige said.
"Becky before I leave I want to take one more picture just the two of us and give you something else."
Jenna pulled out her digital camera from her purse and snapped a photo of her and Becky luckily she was able to print the photo from the plane which she ran to real quick and give it to Becky.
"Becks this is to remind you of me Ill see you soon and before I forget I want you to have this."
Jenna took off her Red Phoenix jacket and handed it to Becky which shocked everyone.
"Jenna this is yours I cant take it."
"Becky its okay just do it who knows some day I may get it back hold on to it for me."
"Okay I will but I want you to have my silver B pendent Ill miss you Jenna."
Becky handed Jenna the pendent and watched as she put it on.
The team cried as Jenna and Becky shared one last hug before heading on to their separate planes.
Little did the crew know this was only the end which would lead them to a new beginning...
