Author's Note: I just like the idea of Regina and Ira becoming classmates and developing sort of a weird friendship with each other after Dokipre ends. Also Rikka is the strongest final boss.

Skipping

Continuity: Doki Doki Precure

Characters: Regina, Ira, Rikka Hishikawa

Summary: Bad ideas usually meet bad ends.

"I've decided!"

The sudden proclamation startled the golden eyed boy who sat next to Regina, especially considering that she had seemed to be lost in thoughts just moments before. He almost choked on the stick of pocky he had been munching on, but fortunately was able to quickly wash it down with a bit of water.

Once not in danger of dying, Ira turned his attention towards the blonde haired girl. "And? What have you decided?"

"Today I'm skipping school." Regina said resolutely, stating her intentions plain as day- in the middle of the classroom no less.

"It's already lunch break." Ira pointed out, quirking a brow. "And? Why this sudden urge to skip class? I thought you were playing a good student for your precious Mana or whatever."

"I just felt like it." Regina said, nodding her head. "At any rate, I really don't want to hear you of all people lecturing me about this. You skip class all the time." She pointed out, before lifting up one finger. "And that's one of the reasons! I'm curious! What exactly does someone like you get up to when you're not in school? Also reason two is that I don't feel like going to gym class today at all." She added, almost as an afterthought, adding a second finger to her count.

"Eh, I've got no reason to show you." Ira frowned, heaving a sigh. "In case you've forgotten, I'm not your servant anymore. I don't have to listen to anything you say."

"You really didn't listen to me all that well in the first place." Regina pointed out, and to that, Ira could only shrug his shoulders. "But I see, so that's how you want to go with it. And I thought we had become friends."

"We're not. Don't go deciding that sort of thing on your own." Ira said, finishing off the box of pocky, pausing to lick some melted chocolate off of his fingers. "Besides that, I wasn't planning on skipping class today. Rikka got pretty mad the last time."

"Hmph." Regina pouted, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Well, if that's the way you're going to go about it, maybe I should let everyone know that you used to be a horrible evil villain~."

"You can't keep blackmailing me with the same reason." Ira said, locking eyes with Regina for a moment- before he let out a deep sigh, scratching the back of his head. "Alright, alright. I'll skip class with you, since you seem to be so interested in doing it."

Besides, it would be troublesome if people found out that he was a Selfish. He had been keeping that fact to himself. He was just lucky that he had never been caught on camera on that day. Well, there were certainly people who still recognized him from when he was doing that sort of thing... but they didn't seem to want to say anything.

Most of them, at least.

"That's more like it. Then, with that!" Regina stood up, grinning from ear to ear as she grabbed her schoolbag- and then grabbed Ira. "Let's go!"

"Wait a second, Regina!" Ira stammered, barely having time to grab his own bag before the blonde girl dragged him out of the classroom and down the hall. It took him a moment to properly get to his feet to follow after her, stumbling over them for a bit. "I can walk on my own, you know!"

"Eeeh, but that's no fun!" Regina grinned, continuing to pull him along- before she let out a yelp and skidded to a sudden stop. This, of course, caused Ira to suddenly stop as well- and the end result of this was the two of them collapsing in a heap on the ground- and Ira hitting his head rather painfully on the wooden floors on the way down.

"Hey, get off of me!" Regina grumbled, pounding the floor with her fists from where she had fallen, trapped under the (admittedly rather light) weight of the golden haired boy.

"You're the one stopped so suddenly!" Ira groaned, pushing himself upright, allowing Regina to spring back up again, dusting herself off. Rubbing his forehead, he glared at Regina as he got up himself. "Why did you stop so-? Ah."

"And where exactly where the two of you going?"

She surely was a Precure with control over ice, because Rikka Hishikawa's voice was downright frosty today. "I thought that I had given you a pretty good lecture yesterday, Ira. You weren't planning on skipping school again?"

"N-no!" Ira stammered quickly, his already pale face turning even whiter.

"Then why do you have your bag with you?" Rikka asked, her gaze flickering briefly towards it, before it returned to Ira's face.

"It was Regina's idea!" Ira said, turning to glare at her. "She was blackmailing me!"

"I don't know anything about that~." Regina said, whistling lightly, folding her hands behind her head.

"Don't play innocent!" Ira snapped, folding his arms in front of his chest. "You were the one who was insisting, because you didn't want to go to gym class today!"

"Eh, did I say something like that?" Regina shrugged her shoulders. "I don't remember~."

"Regina." Rikka spoke sharply, turning her gaze towards the blonde girl, causing her to visibly flinch. "I was under the impression that you had a little more sense than this. You make fairly good grades after all, and we haven't had a problem with you skipping class before."

"Eh, w-well that's..." Regina stammered, starting to sweat a little. Rikka was super scary when she was angry! "I just wanted to know why Ira was always having so much fun doing it!" She said, pointing towards the golden eyed boy, passing the buck back to him.

"How's that my fault!?" Ira protested, flinching as Rikka turned her gaze back towards him. "I was properly going to stay in class today, but then she just dragged me along with her!"

Rikka let out a sigh after a moment, glancing between the two of them, some of the frost fading from her gaze. "Just get back to class, the two of you. Regina, no matter how fun Ira makes it look, skipping school isn't something you should do. And Ira, I already impressed this on you last night, but with your grades, you really can't afford to skip class."

"So you're saying if I made good grades I could skip class?" Ira asked, quickly perking up- only to be shot down by a rather stern look.

"That's not what I'm saying at all." Rikka said simply, before smiling again. "Now then, I have some student council work to do. You two, go back to class."

"Yes!" Regina called out, waving as Rikka headed down the hall towards the student council room. After a moment, she turned back towards Ira, a trickle of sweat visible on her face. "Rikka... is scary when she gets mad, isn't she?"

"You have no idea." Ira said, swallowing a little.

"Let's just go back to class." Regina said after a moment.

"Yeah... that's a good idea." Ira nodded his head.
