Chapter 25 Pt1:

Corey's POV:

When I woke up the next morning I was pumped knowing that today we got to plan our next tour and the best part Laney will be in it. I sat up and looked to my right seeing Laney still asleep. Her red hair was everywhere and most of her stomach was showing. I smiled a little knowing that this is how I want life to be like. Me waking up to Laney by my side and our son in a crib. I knew if I woke her up she would be prissed off so I quietly got out of bed and went to the kitchen.

When I got there kin and kon were already in the kitchen making breakfast. "Morning." I said running my hand though my blue bangs trying to fix them "Morning." They replied in unison.

"Where's Laney?" Kon said. "She's still asleep."

"Nice I wouldn't wake her up either dude." Kin said still focusing on what he was cooking. Kon and I laughed and sat down at the table. "So what time is Grey coming?" Kon asked sounding like his old 13 excited self. "He'll be here at 1:00 so we need to be ready lok shower and look nice." both of the boys nodded.

"So to more important matters, are you and Laney dating?" Kin asked bring me and kon a plate of eggs. I blush a little and said "No."

"Why not?"

"Because were taking things slow."

"bullshit, we both know you want to be with her and I'm pretty sure she want to be with you too."

"Look, it's been a long time since we've seen each other-"

"And an even long time you've known her." Kin explained. I was silence, "Corey, Come on we know that you've liked he since 7th grade when will you make your move, Laney won't wait forever." Kin was right Laney might be bigger but she still beautiful and she could probably find a better guy than me. "It's not that simple." I said. "Dude you're having a kid together nothing will EVER be simple." Kon said with a dead serious face. I laughed a little and nodded my head. "Plus think of the fan base we will get girls love romance especially between two band members." Kin said taking a bite of his eggs. I raised an eyebrow and said "really?" Then Kon jumped up and said "OH MY GOD YES AND I HAVE A GREAT NAME FOR YOU TOO AND I THINK IT WILL CATCH ON!" Kin and I looked at each other then back at Kon. "And what's that bro?" Kin said giving the same expression as I was. "Ok hear this you two can be called... Corney! " "Dude that's stupid that will never catch on." I said.

After a while Laney walked in look like somebody woke her up "Well Morning sunshine." I said teasing her but all I got was a middle finger to my face.

Laney's POV:

Nobody should tease me in the morning, I'm NOT a morning person at all so Corey definitely got what came to him. "Fine but let me get your chair and some breakfast for you." I smile and said "see that's so much better Thank you." he smile back and said "You're welcome Lanes, Oh and Grey is coming at 1:00 so be ready by then." I smiled and gave him a lame thumbs up.

(1pm transition)

All of us were looking nice of this meeting but I feel a bit awkward since they've already met him and I'm just meeting him. "OK Grojband huddle together, I think that this meeting will go fine I mean they love us but if it doesn't, we're not giving up will bring this band to the to the top!" We all cheered. The not even a second later the doorbell rang. Corey answered the door and ther stood a dark skinned man with what looked like dyed blonde hair. He was wearing a nice navy blue suit and a baby blue shirt under. He was an extremely charming man but I looked at his left and and saw a bronze ring on his ring finger, damn it. "Hey Greg it's so good to see you again man." Core said releasing Greg from their hug. "Yeah good to see you to Corey, and you look good, healthy even."

"Well somebody important to me came back into my life." Corey said smiling waving me over.

I walked over their with a soft smile plastered to my face. Corey put his arm around me and said "Greg, is Laney, she the bass player and band manager of Grojband." "Hi so nice to meet you, last time I tried I was going threw some stuff." I said awkwardly. "So you're the lucky lady that one this boys heart." he said pointing to Corey, I could see he blushed a little. Greg continued"Corey would always talk about you." I looked up at Corey and smile "OH really?" Corey started to rub the back of his neck with his free hand "Heh well that was then now I have you back in my life, and I'm not letting you or this baby go again." He said pulling me closer which felt really well that was the one thing I missed the most was being in his started to laugh "Well Corey since you got the girl and having a kid by the way congrats, Maybe you should tie the knot with her soon." I quickly got wide eyed and I could tell Corey did too since he took his arm off of me."Wait what Oh no no no no were not even together were just two friends having a kid together and that are in the same band nothing more, nothing less." I said freaking out. Corey nodded in agreement. "Oh ok I just got the wrong message, sorry there." Greg said Putting both his hands up. It was silent for a moment till kin clapped his hand together and said "Well since the awkward part is over lets go to the living room and talk about getting another tour for grojband." we all agreed and when to the living room.
