It wasn't enough to know that deep down, he loved me. You had to actually say it to somebody, show them you cared. And he just didn't. Not enough." ― Jenny Han

Last thing Thatch expected to see in mafias brothel was blonde teenager wearing suit and cleaning gun. Suits and guns were to be expected, but sixteen year old, pale teenagers with soulless, light blue eyes – weren't.

"You're Thatch?" blonde asked. His voice suited his electric eyes. "You've got weird hairstyle." teenager noticed giving Thatch sign to follow him. Others eyes got Thatch mesmerized to point he ignored comment on his hairstyle and almost missed large scar on teenagers face.

Without further discussion Thatch got lead behind bar to back stage and Space Families main base. He knew he should be nervous about meeting their don. Mysterious person that appeared out of nowhere and took control of over half of Grand Line Citys underground in just three months. Thatchs mafia was one of families that got united under Spades sign.

When Thatch was lost in his thoughts teen stopped after noticing older blonde with weird hairstyle that made his head remind pineapple.

"Is Ace in?" his guide asked older man.

"Nope. Lu got in another fight at school and this idiot left ignoring all his work. Who's that?" Pineapple answered.

"Thatch" younger blonde informed. "What to do now? I was supposed to take him to Ace."

"He'll stay at your place, Sabo. Bring him tomorrow. I'll give you a call when this idiot will have time." Older said shrugging.

"K', see ya Marco." Sabo said, turning around and walking away dragging Thatch along.

Shortly they left building. "You got a car?" Sabo asked. "Great." he added after Thatch shook his head. "Put this on.. he finished giving him motor helmet and left leaving Thatch with figuring how to put it on. Sighing older man began changing his hairstyle from pompadour to low ponytail.

After while short 'tch' announced Sabo's back. Thatch assumed blonde teen didn't like him. He wondered why. "Get on and hold on tightly." Blonde ordered. Older man got no time to ask what he's supposed to hold. Once he took seat behind teenager, blonde instantly started motor and having no choice Thatch got to hold Sabo around his waist.

He couldn't see others face, so he got no idea if blonde got anything against it. Both sides were silent whole time. When they stopped Thatch was surprised to see common suburban house. Without word Sabo took his bike to garage. Having no other option Thatch followed him. It turned out to be good idea since garage was connected to blonds house. "Make yourself at home." Sabo instrumented once they entered house.

Inside it was as typical as outside if not count some ammo on coffee table and shelf above fireplace. Lime green couch and two armchairs somehow fit white fireplace and light brown wooden walls. Same colour palette was in whole house. Whole place was really clean. If not bullets Thatch would call it cleanest house he ever seen.

"You have really clean house." Thatch complimented. Only sign that other heard it was slight shrug.

After quick shower – somehow Sabos clothes fit Thatch who didn't have anything to change since he never planed any sleep overs. It turned out that house was in deed really clean but owner turned out to be total slob – he didn't bother with putting his dirty clothes anywhere else but right on floor – Sabo was showering first. Additionally when blonde attempted to cook Thatch got to take over to save them both from burning alive or getting food poisoning. Also Sabo was surprisingly silent. All older man heard from him were mostly shrugs or just 'Yes', 'No' and 'Okay'. While cooking Thatch noticed blonde was looking at his own hands.

"You okay?" he asked bit worried. Not because anything happening to blonde meant his quick and painful death.

"I'm useless." Sabo muttered hugging himself. "I can only kill. I don't even know how to cook." he continued. With each word his voice was sounding more and more like he was about to cry.

"You're not..." Thatch tried comforting teenager.

"I am. Ace is only keeping me because I'm his brother. I'm not even good at this. Both of them are just worrying about me. Ace even orders his people to watch me all time." Sabo continued his rambling. "I'm useless..." he finished and started crying.

"You're not. Not knowing how to cook means nothing. I got no idea how to cook till I was 22 which was just three years ago. Thatch reasoned patting blonds head. For some reason he couldn't stop thinking how cute Sabo looked while crying and how soft his hair was. 'He's too young.' He kept reminding himself.

"But... I'm... already... 20..." Sabo said calming down a little. It surprised older man. For his age Sabo looked surprisingly young... "Is there anything good about me?"

This question stopped Thatchs mind for few seconds. Why this blonde is so adorable when sad? It made Thatch feel bad about himself for thinking this. Not thinking what he's doing Thatch said first thing that came to his mind...

"You're cute."

When he woke from his daze and realized what he's done Sabo was staring at him blankly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to..."

"Do you really think so?" Sabo asked avoiding looking at older man.

"I didn't mean to say it." Thatch responded also avoiding looking at other man.

"But you thought so~" Now for some reason younger mafioso sounded like he was trying to seduce him. "Tell me truth." he added looking at Thatch. "Look at me and say it~" he finished forcing Thatch to look at him.

"I did thought..." Thatch got no occasion to to finish. Sabo forcefully closed little gap between their faces connecting their lips in fierce, hungry kiss.

Sabo himself didn't remember how it all was happening, and he didn't care. Forgetting about food he decided to 'eat' Thatch instead of whatever other man was cooking. From other side Thatch was happy he turned stove off. There was no telling when Sabo will let him go.

"You're first person to say it in long time." blonde noticed letting other go, but still kept him near holding his apron. After short, awkward moment of silence blonde kissed older man again beginning to drag him upstairs.

Thatch didn't even want to think about what happened after. All he dared to say was that he and Sabo were really busy with each other for some time. On other hand Sabo was sure those were best hours in his whole life...

...

First thing Sabo noticed after waking up on next day was fact that Thatch was gone. Sitting up, yawning and stretching blonde noticed that half of bed Thatch occupied last night was still warm. Sighing he put on some random pair of underwear he found on usually clean floor and went downstairs.

In kitchen Thatch was preparing breakfast. He hadn't noticed younger man sneaking up on him from behind.

"Morning." Sabo greeted hugging other man "Why are you here?" he asked.

"I'm making breakfast." Thatch said.

"I know. But couldn't you wait for me to wake up? What would I do if anything happened to you?" Sabo tried playing dramatic.

"you're surprisingly talkative." Thatch noticed. "Let go, I've got to finish cooking."

Sighing blonde let go and eyed other. For some unknown to him reason Thatch decided to put on pants Sabo lend him yesterday. Luckily Thatch stayed shirtless which left his torso exposed to Sabos light blue eyes. "Somethings troubling you?" he asked openly looking at others butt. He didn't even plan trying to hide it.

"Your brother is going to kill me."

"He won't." Sabo assured him. "I'd be sad if he did, so he won't. Besides we found something I'm good at."

"Don't say it." Thatch said blushing like teenage girl in front of her crush in some sappy anime Sabo sometimes watches when bored.

"But I'm really good at it. Besides, how are your hips, hon?"
