Sarah has always felt different than her family ever since her sister, Danielle, died horribly. After another death in the family, she runs and was attacked by a shark. She was saved by four girls who personify the Elements. Fire, Spirit, Air and Earth. Sarah turns into Water and joins the others in their quest to keep the balence of the Light and Dark forces.

I sat on the bench outside with my food. I raised my apple to my lips. I placed it back down with the sick feeling in my stomach.
