Later out in the city, everything was normal, nothing bad about to happen... that was, until an explosion came from the bank, three people leaving. One was a little kid and attached to his back were giant mechanical spider legs. The second was a large, muscular guy with long hair and fangs. The last one was a girl wearing dark colors, mainly purple and black, and pink hair which stood like devil horns. They were the group known as the H.I.V.E. Five.
Back at Titans' Tower, the alarms were going off. Leonardo was in the middle of his meditation when the red flashing lights and alarm went off. He rushed to the main computer meeting up with the Titans. "What's going on?" he inquired.
"There's trouble downtown," Robin replied.
"And we know why," Cyborg added, pulling up three pictures of three people. "They're Gizmo, Jinx, and Mammoth. They're a part of this group known as the H.I.V.E. Five."
"And you've met them before?" the ninja turtle asked.
"Yeah, and they kicked us out of the tower before!" Beast Boy spoke. "All of my CDs were..." He shuddered. "Alphabetized...!"
"They went into my room," Raven spoke darkly. "No one should ever go into my room."
"They had also consumed all of the blue, hairy food!" Starfire exclaimed.
Leonardo looked at the Tamaranean in confusion. Blue, hairy food...?! he thought. I don't think food is supposed to be blue... or hairy.
"Whatever they think they're trying to pull," the Boy Wonder declared, "it's not going to work." He turned to the ninja turtle. "Leonardo, care to come along?"
Leonardo nodded in agreement.
"Titans, GO!"
The Titans and ninja turtle left the tower, ready to face their foe.
When they were in Downtown Jump City, Leonardo was going from rooftop to rooftop. Starfire, flying overhead, was curious as to why her new friend wasn't joining the others down in the city streets. She flew down next to her terrapin friend.
"Why are you not with our friends?" she asked.
"I'm not use going out to the city during the day," Leonardo replied. "My brothers and I, we usually go out at night."
"Leonardo, do you and your brothers have any human friends aside from us?"
"A few, actually. There's Casey and April, the Ancient One, Angel, just to name a few."
So my terrapin friend does have some human friends, she thought. But I do not understand-
Just then, Starfire was attacked from above, an explosion hitting her in the back. She fell on the roof a few feet behind Leonardo. The ninja turtle turned around and saw the Tamaranean alien on her hands and knees struggling to get up. He looked up in the air and saw Gizmo with his jetpack.
"EEEWW!" Gizmo said disgustedly. "Which sewer did you crawl out of?"
"New York's, actually," Leonardo replied with a cunning smirk.
"HEY! You weren't supposed to actually answer!" The little evil genius threw an array of bombs toward the katana wielding turtle.
The ninja turtle's eyes widened. "Oh, crap...!"
