Noel stood at the doorway and bowed, unable to hide his smile. "Prince Niles and Princess Daphne, may I present to you-."
"DADDY!" Daphne shrieked, rushing past Noel and her family. She ran across the marble floor crying as she engulfed her father into her arms.
"Oh Daddy!" she cried, relishing the feel of his arms around her, for there was nothing like the feeling of being held by one's father. It was a feeling that even Niles couldn't replicate. "I missed you so much!" She simply couldn't stop crying and he held her close, letting her cry into his coat.
"I missed you too, my sweet little girl." He said, hugging her tighter. "Now… let me look at you." He gently pulled out of her arms and smiled at the sight of her. "Oh my… so beautiful and so grown up. You're truly a princess."
"Daddy, you were right. I did find true love… with Prince Niles."
Niles crossed the room and bowed at his new father in law. "I know that I sent for you, but I'm honored to make your acquaintance."
"I don't understand…" Daphne said. "How…"
"I'll explain it to you later, my love." Niles said with a mischievous grin. "But perhaps you should tell your father the good news."
"What good news?" Her father asked.
"Oh, and we should probably tell Dad and Frasier as well." Niles chuckled. "For surely Dad will want to shout it throughout the land."
"Well?" Prince Frasier asked. "What's this news?"
"Yes, tell us!" King Martin prompted.
Daphne smiled and took Prince Niles' hand. "Dad, Martin, Frasier… I'm going to be a mother and Niles is going to be a father! We're going to have a baby!"
Gasps could be heard all around and her father scooped her up into his arms, swinging her around before sitting her gently onto her feet. "Oh, Daphne, that's wonderful!" He cried. "Your brothers will be so happy!"
"Me brothers? Where are they?"
"They live with me now, not far from this castle!"
Daphne was even more overjoyed than before. "Oh Daddy, really? Can I see them?"
"Soon. You'll see them soon. Oh Sweetheart I can't believe it! My little girl is going to have a little girl of her own!"
"Or a boy!" Martin chimed in.
"That's right." Daphne said. "Daddy, if it's a boy, we're going to name him David."
Her father hugged her once more. "Daphne, my sweet and beautiful princess, your brother David will be so honored. And so am I."
Joyous embraces were given throughout the castle and then King Martin ordered them to the balcony where yet again, he shouted the joyous news throughout the Emerald City of Seattle. And like before, the response was overwhelming.
And inside the castle, Daphne shared embrace after embrace with her new family; King Martin, Prince Frasier, and even Noel, the Grand Duke. But the most wonderful displays of affection of all came from Niles, her husband. The handsome, sweet and loving Prince who had made all of her dreams come true.
She was certain that their love would continue to grow. For in the Emerald City of Seattle, love had no limits.
