"Wow!" Lucy and Wendy exclaimed in unison.
Laying on the table in front of them was a vast amount of pens with dials on them in a multitude of colors. Each pen was marked with a specific letter. Lucy picked up a blue pen with the letter D on it.
"What does this one do?" she asked
"Well each pen is different because they can change your physical apperance. However there is one pen type for each kind of change. Like the blue pens are used for facial features, like if you wanted to change your eye color or nose shape." Paige explained "Red are for proportion changes such as height, weight, bust size or-"
"Bust size!?" The sky dragon slayer exclaimed. "Try it out on me please!"
The picture mage looked at Carla who sighed "How long does this enchantment last?" the exceed asked
"Well it depends on what letter is on the pen. There are five types; H means hours, D means days, M means months, Y means years, and E is eternity. For example if I wanted to change my hair color for three hours" Paige said as she picked up a pink pen with the letter H enscribed on it, she slowly turned the dial to the number 3 and tapped her head, each tap changing the color
"Well how do you get to the color you want? Or the size you want?" Lucy said
"You have to imagine the color inside your mind, same goes for the size you want" Paige replied as her hair turned an amber red
Wendy looked at Carla expectantly and the exceed grumbled "As long as it wears off later, I'm alright with it."
Wendy squealed in delight and grabbed a red pen with the letter H on it. She turned the number to 12 and tapped the areas of her body that she wanted to change. Suddenly she started to grow taller, as tall as Lucy. Her breasts started to grow aswell, also the size of Lucys.
Lucy and Paige stared at the dragon slayer.
"Dayum!" Paige exclaimed "You look good!"
Wendy giggled and handed Lucy the pen, to which she tilted her head.
"That's all you're going to do?"she asked
"Nobody will recognize me. They all think I'm a little girl" The sky maiden replied
"Point taken" Paige said as she also changed her height to be a little taller than Lucy, as well as changing her breasts to a smaller size.
"Paige?" Lucy said
"Yeah?" The picture mage replied
"Why did you think I could call out all my spirits at once?" the celestial spirit mage asked
"Well I heard that you were able to summon nine spirits when you saved Loke, and then thirteen when Minerva had you in the crosshairs the other day" Paige replied as she took out a pair of clothes.
"That's not exactly true. I have a close bond with my spirits that no one can break." Lucy responded as she used the pen to shorten her hair. "They can tell when I need them the most, even when I myself don't even realize it. Virgo pops up all the time without me having to summon her. The most I can call out at once is two."
"Well even calling out two at once is impressive in itself" Paige said "If you ever manage to call three spirits at once, who knows how powerful you can get." She fumbled in her bag and took out a pair of denim shorts and a black tank top and handed them to the celestial mage. Lucy looked at the clothes then to the brunette quizzically.
"What are these for?" Lucy asked
"Well we are going to be wearing robes while in the building so it dosen't matter what we wear. However I think its best we sport as little as possible so if the situation calls for it, we can move quickly and easily." Paige responded
"Do I get a pair of clothes?" Wendy asked
"Do you get a pair of. . . Well of course you do!" She said as she tossed another pair at the sky dragon slayer. "I wouldn't leave you out."
Wendy smiled to herself and the three women dressed in silence as Carla looked on. The picture mage caught the exceeds glance on her and looked at her with a sullen look on her face.
"Is something the matter?" Paige asked as she pulled on her denim shorts and buttoned them.
After a moment of silence Carla shook her head
"No I'm just a bit dazed is all" she said
"Well be sure to keep your wits about you when we go in" Paige said "You're gonna be hiding under Wendy's robe as we infiltrate the building."
Carla nodded as the picture mage turned and walked over to Lucy and Wendy.
I can't tell her about the premonition I had on the train, the exceed thought to herself.
As the three women and exceed exited the cabin, they all heard a whistle froming from the enterance. They looked to see three men standing and staring the women down. The first of the men had a smirk on his face with long brown curly hair resting against his forhead, his eyes a bright green. He seemed to be the tallest of the three. The second looked at the girls with a slight pout on his face as he leaned against the cabin, his fang like teeth slightly visible as his blue hair swayed in the wind. He was of average height. The third and smallest of the three had the biggest grin on his face with fang like teeth showing aswell. He sported a short blonde mohawk with a fringe.
Normally at first glance they could be mistaken for normal men. But the three women knew better as they were looking at the three Fairy Tail male dragon slayers.
"Lookin good Natsu!" Lucy laughed
The temporary blonde chuckled and stepped forward.
"You look good as a brunette!" he said "You should keep it that way"
"Nah!" The bluenette said as he put his arm around the celestial mage. "Lucy is fine the way she is"
She smiled and looked up at Gajeel, who smiled back at her with his large canine teeth.
Laxus looked at Paige and Wendy and raised his eyebrow.
"Wow" he exclaimed at Paige "Is that you Wendy?"
Both of the women flailed
"I'm Wendy!" The sky dragon slayer said
Laxus looked at her and his eyes went wide as he saw her figure. His jaw dropped in surprise.
"Damn!" he said "You are lookin' hot We-"
WHAP!
Carla had hit him on the head with a tree branch.
"Don't even you perverted man!" the exceed yelled
Chuckling, Paige picked up the lightning dragon slayer, who looked at her figure.
"Hey why did you make your tits so small?" he asked
Then it was her turn to whap him with the back of her hand.
After picking him up once again, the picture mage got the attention of the others.
"Alright guys. We are going to split up into teams of three" She held up nine pieces of paper folded up. "On each paper is a number. Who ever has the same number is on that team. I'm going to save the exceeds to go last because I think its best that there should be one with each team."
Nodding in agreement, the group picked out thier pieces of paper and unfolded them.
"I got number 3" Lucy said as she held up her piece of paper
"Me too bunny girl" Gajeel said smiling as he clutched the paper in his hand
"I got 2" Wendy said
"Me too!" Natsu said
Laxus placed his arm around Paiges shoulders, showing her his slip with the number 1 on it.
"Looks like you and I are together, sweet thing!" he said
"Take it off or I'll break it off!" she exclaimed at him through gritted teeth.
After shrugging his arm off her shoulder, the picture mage held out the remaining three slips out to the exceeds who each took one.
"I got 2 sir!" Happy said in an excited tone
"Alright buddy!" Natsu exclaimed
"I got 3" Carla said as she held up her slip
"That means Lilys with us" Paige said looking at the edolas exceed
"I look forward to working with you, Paige" Lily said smiling
"Alright! Let's get going! I'm all fired up!" Natsu yelled in excitement
After meeting up with Velveno and Erigor, the group trekked through the woods in silence, knowing the severity of the current mission and mentally preparing themselves.
As they caught the building within thier sight, Erigor handed the four dragon slayers and two women robes that were identical to one another.
After putting the robes on, the group headed towards the dark, ominous looking building.
"Halt!" A voice said
There in front of the enterance stood a tall brooding man with dark peach fuzz atop of his head. He wore the same robe as the others as he held a sword in his large hand.
"Calm down, Mercutio" Erigor said as he strode up to the guard with the others in tow "It's just me and Velveno. We found some new recruits that would like to help our cause in harnessing the lost magic"
Mercutio raised his eyebrow in interest. "Oh? Well we dont just let ANYBODY in. You know that Erigor."
"I figured since we are low on people since that blasted fairy tail ruined our plans, we could use some fresh faces." Erigor responded
The guard rubbed his chin, looking at the group, and after a moment he spoke.
"Tell me, what do you think of Fairy Tail?" he asked
"They suck!" Paige said suddenly
The others looked at her in disbelief and she looked back at them. Lucy got the message loud and clear and without missing a beat, spoke up.
"Yeah, they think they're so powerful. I especially hate that Lucy Heartfillia!"
"And I can't stand that sky dragon slayer Wendy! She is sooo flat chested" Wendy said
"I despise that Natsu boy. He is such a wannabe" Gajeel said as he crossed his arms
Natsu gave the iron dragon slayer a pissed off look and shot back.
"Yeah? Well that Gajeel guy stinks! He needs to take a shower or somethin!" he retorted
All of a sudden the guard burst out laughing. The group looked at eachother in confusion until he caught his breath and stood up straight.
"Alright you convinced me" he said smirking "I'll go tell Master Fujimoto. Erigor can you stand guard?"
"Yeah sure thing" The wind mage replied
After watching the guard walk inside and close the door behind him, Paige turned and looked at Natsu, and Gajeel.
"You two really have some screws loose dont ya?" she said
