(Brian's POV)
It was a heart warming moment. Girly was back, she was alive and well, we were all okay. (My face had just been attacked with kisses from the most beautiful woman in the world.) It was a story book ending.
Until Jack woke up.
"Ugh...my head...where am I?" He groaned, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head.
At the sound of his voice, Girly broke away from Masky and hid behind his back, her courage from not an hour ago gone.
"You're in Proxy Manor." Jeff piped up.
"Proxy Manor?!" Dark eyes snapped open and looked around the room, landing on Girly. "Brittany!"
"Girly!" She corrected, peeking over Masky's shoulder before ducking down again.
"Get used to calling her that. You're going to be staying here for some time." I smirked, crossing my arms.
"What happened? Why did you bring me here?" He growled, starting to stand up.
But the nurse in Girly wouldn't have any of that.
"Sit back down." Holding her head high, she walked out from behind Masky and straight to the black haired boy's side.
She put a hand on his shoulder and forced him back down, snapping at him whenever he went to protest. Then she made her way around to the back of his head and gently began prodding at it.
"Ouch woman! What are you doing back there?!"
"Shut up, you big baby!" Girly huffed and rolled her eyes, opening her hand for the roll of gauze her tentacle brought to her. "You've got a nasty bump back here from when you fell earlier. Also, your eye's beginning to bruise and puff up. Sit still and let me wrap it and grab you some ice."
Surprised by her change of behavior, he sat still and kept quiet as she worked, and in return she answered his questions.
"I wasn't completely conscious when I was Brittany, but I could see, hear, and feel everything. I saw how Zalgo treated you. I heard the words he said. I felt the scars he left on your body. If you had stayed there, you would have died." She murmured softy as she finished wrapping his head. "I want you to know Jack, that I didn't do it because I love you. I'm not Brittany. I don't even like you very much, how you treated me like an object."
"Then why did you save me then?" Pulling away from the bag of ice she held, glaring at her with his good eye.
Ignoring his outburst, Girly grabbed his chin and gingerly placed the ice bag onto his eye. "Because I'm not heartless Jack. I'm not going to sit by and let someone suffer something they did nothing to deserve."
After a moment of silence between the pair, Jack voiced another question. "How did you guys even escape?"
"Well, after Tim knocked you out, Zalgo turned into his monster form, we started to fight him, but of course, we didn't do much." I started. "He started beating us up pretty good, then Girly snapped. She got super pissed and powerful, started yelling at Zalgo, and came pretty close to strangling him."
"Then she made Zalgo promise not to hurt us ever again under punishment of death." Jeff grinned. "He agreed."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait." Jack knit his eyebrows together and shook his head. "You're saying that this girl beat Zalgo and forced him to make a one-sided deal?"
"Well now, it wasn't really one-sided now, was it?" Girly grinned, clasping her hands together behind her back. "After all, the poor sod's still alive, isn't he?"
Jack just stared at her for a full minute, before busting out into laughter. "There's no way! There's no way!"
"I can show you how I did it, if you'd like~" Girly grinned impishly.
"Oh please do." He managed to say between giggles. "This will be good."
Girly leaned down right next to Jack face, and when he was done laughing and looking right at her, she blinked.
When she opened her eyes, they were of the purest black. Two miniature black holes set in milky skin. Her raven locks began to swirl in their vortex once more, making it appear as if she were larger than she was. She opened her mouth, revealing two large pearly white fangs, ready to sink into her prey.
"Well boy," Her voice was deep and sickly sweet, echoing and bouncing off the walls so it filled the room. "Do you doubt my power?"
A single tentacle out of the many that surrounded her went to Jack's chin and closed his gaping mouth. He immediately shook his head. She laughed at this. It was a cold, menacing chuckle that left goosebumps on my skin. Soon enough though, the laughter changed into her own, and everything else went back to normal as well.
She patted Jack's face twice, sauntered over to BEN, then collapsed.
"Girly?!" The virus had just managed to catch her before she hit the floor.
"Mmm tired." She mumbled, lazy grin spreading across her face.
I chuckled and shook my head, reaching out and petting her soft hair. "Going Super Saiyan must take a lot out of you, huh? Especially if you do it twice in one day."
She simply nodded and squirmed out of BEN's arms and into my own.
"Heh, I'll take her upstairs so she can get some rest." I nodded to the others, while Girly giggled as I picked her up bridal style.
"Don't hurt Jack while I'm gone~" She sang, and once we were out of sight of the others, she nuzzled into my chest.
"Uhh, yo-you okay there Girly?" I stuttered, fully aware of the blush forming on my cheeks.
"I can hear your heartbeat." Was her reply. "It's a little rapid."
"W-well, I, uh y-you see-"
"Do I make all of you act like this?" She whispered, tapping a single finger over my heart.
I took a breath to steady myself and let it out slowly, smiling down at her. "Yes, you do."
"You saw how easily I used Jack. How quickly he conformed to my will."
"Girly-"
"I'm scared Brian." She clutched at my shirt. "I don't want to hurt you. To hurt my boys."
I leaned down and kissed the top of her head, smiling at her when she looked up at me confused.
"Because you don't want to, because you're scared to, it means you never will."
She was quiet while I walked down the hallway and opened her bedroom door. She was biting her lip, so I could tell she was thinking over something probably very important.
"Brian, will you sleep with me?"
I dropped her on her bed, and I could see my face turn as red as a tomato in the window's reflection. "G-girly, I know your dad's not here, but the guys are downstairs and these walls aren't exactly sound proof-"
"That's not what I meant." She deadpanned, blush forming on her own cheeks as she glared at me. "I-i meant, will you lay down with me? I...i...I don't want to be alone."
She refused to look at me as she muttered the last bit, opting to look out the window instead. So instead of answering her, I climbed onto the bed next to her and pulled her down into my arms. She relaxed almost immediately and melted into the embrace. I reached up and tucked some on her hair behind her ear, fingers lingering on the deep purple bruises left on her collar bone.
"Ugh, I wish those would just disappear." She shivered, repulsed by the memory they represented.
Without thinking, I scooted closer to her and lightly pressed my lips to the darkest of the bruises. She shivered again, but this time from a different feeling as I trailed kisses across her collar, up her neck, down her jawline, and hesitated at her lips.
"I-I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me-"
My words were cut off as she pulled me in for a deep kiss. My brain decided to shut down, so I could hardly process what had happened by the time she pulled away.
"Goodnight, Brian."
