"I haven't been here in such a long time that I can't even remember the last time," said Trina. She was pushing the stroller in which Dominik lay sleeping.
"I have never been to this particular zoo," Illya replied. Three-year-old Lydia rode on his shoulders.
"You've lived in New York City all this time and have never even been here?" Trina was incredulous.
"Before you and the children came into my life, there was never any particular reason to come," Illya replied.
"Are we really gonna see monkeys and giraffes, Daddy?" asked Lydia.
"Indeed we shall," Illya told her. "Those, and much more."
"Hurray!" Lydia exclaimed happily.
