Jace:

Clary and Maia were planning to sleep over the night before prom because Isabelle wanted to help prepare them for the evening. Clary mostly hung with the gals, which Jace respected. She shouldn't be with him all the time. She needed to be with her friends.

Around 3 am however, Jace heard his door creak open and the soft pitter patter of Clary's footsteps. She slowly walked up to him.

"Hi," she whispered.

"Hi," he whispered back.

"Can I sleep here tonight? I REALLY don't want to sleep on the hard wood floor."

"Of course; there's always plenty of room in my bed." Jace gave Clary a suggestive look.

"Ugh you're such a boy," Clary groaned. She lied down and Jace turned to face her. She smiled wistfully and put her arms around him.

"Goodnight," she whispered.

"I love you," he whispered back.

Clary slowly smiled. "I love you too."

Clary:

Clary woke up and immediately smiled.

Lying right next to her was Jace, sleeping peacefully. He looked a lot younger in his sleep. He didn't frown as much.

Clary scooted over, attempting to leave without waking him. But as she tried to get up, she felt Jace's arms tighten around her.

"Nope," he muttered. "Not happening."

Clary laughed exasperatedly. "Izzy is just going to drag me out eventually to do my hair and get me dressed. She may force you to sit around and watch if you don't cooperate."

"Me? Watching you get dressed? I don't mind that." Jace smirked. Clary flushed.

"No, she'll make you watch me do hair and make up and let me tell you, it's going to take forever and you'll be suffocating in hairspray by the end of it."

Jace groaned and reluctantly let go. "Fine."

Clary smiled and kissed his cheek.

Isabelle:

"So what was up with you in Jace's room?" Izzy asked, raising her eyebrows.

Clary groaned. "For God sake, get your head out of the damn gutter."

"You owe me 10 bucks," Maia piped up, not looking up from her book.

Izzy groaned and handed Maia her money.

"Wait a minute...you two made a bet? About Jace and I?" Clary asked loudly.

"Maybe," Maia said.

"I can't believe you two," Clary huffed.

Izzy shrugged and returned to straightening Maia's hair. It was a long and painful process. However, they were almost done.

"Clary, you should get your boutonniere out from wherever you're hiding it. That way, we don't forget it."

Clary went to the garment bag that held her dress and unzipped a pocket on the front.

"I see you are busy doing Maia's hair. Can I please just stay with Jace until it's my turn?" Clary asked.

Izzy sighed. "Fine. But can you take a picture of me straightening Maia's hair real quick? I'm documenting the whole day on Instgram."

Clary quickly took the photo an hurried down the steps.

Eventually, Maia's hair was finally straight. Izzy immediately got to work, twisting Maia's hair into an elegant bun.

Jace:

Jace was in the kitchen, eating the complementary prom donuts Maryse had left them.

"If you eat all the donuts I will have to kill you," Jace heard a familiar voice warn. He smiled.

"You got me," he said, his mouth full.

Clary snatched the donut out of his hands and ate the rest of it.

"So, you managed to escape Izzy and her hair curlers?" Jace teased.

Clary rolled her eyes. "No. She's doing Maia's hair and makeup now. I thought that since we have a little time left, that we could start that movie I told you about."

"Which one?" Jace frowned.

"The one with the barber that kills people and bakes them into pies."

"Oh yes. That one. We don't own that movie, though."

"I brought it with me," Clary said, grinning. She held up a DVD with Johnny Depp on it with black hair that almost looks like an afro and a white streak through it. It was kind of like Luke's gray streak he has in his black hair.

"Let's do it, then. I'm in a serial killer mood anyway," Jace grinned.

"Jace Lightwood, what did you just say?" Snapped Maryse, who just then walked into the kitchen.

"We're watching a movie about a serial killer," Jace said, embarrassed.

"Oh," Maryse glanced down at the almost empty donut box. "I see the two of you have attacked the donuts."

Clary:

"Oh my God that guy looks JUST like you!" Clary exclaimed when the sailor Anthony started singing "No Place Like London".

"I don't know," Jace muttered. "He's skinnier."

"But you two have the same face and hair!"

"We do not! My hair is not that dirty!" Jace exclaimed, pretending to be offended.

"You're both cute though," Clary teased.

"Which ones cuter?" Jace asked with a sideways grin.

Clary paused, pretending to have to think about it.

"Hmmm..him!" She said, pointing to the boy on the screen.

Jace gasped. "Someone more cuter than me? Oh the horror!"

Clary snuggled up into his side. "I'm kidding. You're cuter. He's pretty cute too though," she teased. "Now shut up and watch the movie."

They were able to watch about 45 minutes before Izzy interrupted them.

"Ugh not this movie again!" Izzy complained.

"Yes this movie again," Clary grinned.

"Whatever. Come on Clary."

Clary sighed. She kissed Jace's cheek and got up to leave.

"Text me once you've finished it," Clary called over her shoulder.

Isabelle:

Maia looked gorgeous. Now, it was time to turn Clary into a princess.

"So you had picked a hairstyle, right?" Izzy asked.

"Yes," Clary grinned. She brought up the page on Izzy's laptop. Izzy looked at it and smiled.

"This will be pretty! Let's get to work."

Izzy started by creating a side part and French braiding Clary's hair. She carefully followed the website's instructions. After she was done, she sprayed some light hold hairspray on Clary's hair.

"Do you want to see it?" Izzy asked.

"Sure," Clary said.

Izzy handed Clary a mirror to hold and turned her away from the mirror. This way, she would be able to see the back of her hair.

"It's perfect," she said, smiling. Then her phone dinged and she glanced down and laughed.

"He finished it?" Izzy asked.

"Yeah. He's freaking out."

Izzy understood. She went through that too when Clary had made her watch that movie. "Now it's time for makeup!" She excitedly exclaimed.

Maia was really quiet.

"Maia, you still with us?" Izzy joked.

"What? Oh yes, it looks good." Maia then buried her head back into the book she was reading.

Isabelle started lining the upper and lower eyelashes with brown eyeliner. She then applied a coat of mascara and took out her eyelash curlers.

"What is that?" Clary asked suspiciously.

"Where's the trust? It's just an eyelash curler."

"You're putting that on my eyelashes? It looks like a murder weapon!" Clary exclaimed. Izzy sighed and, despite Clary's complaints, curled her eyelashes. Izzy then put light pink, peach, and beige eyeshadows on Clary's eyelids, blending the colors together. She put blush on Clary and finished it off with a light pink shade of lipstick.

"See? You look pretty!" Izzy said once she was finally done.

"Yeah. I do," Clary grinned.

"Jace won't be able to keep his hands off you," Izzy teased. She raised her eyebrows at Clary.

"You're disgusting," Clary huffed.

Clary:

Izzy mostly did her hair on her own, occasionally asking for them to hand her a rubber band or a bobby pin.

She made maybe 7 or 8 braids and twirled them to the back of her head, fixing it with many bobby pins.

"Clary, could you spray some hairspray on my hair?" She asked.

"How much?"

"A lot."

Clary ended up nearly emptying the can.

Next, Izzy did her make up. She heavily applied black eyeliner. She put sparkly gold eye shadow in her inner lid. She then put aqua green eyeshadow in the middle, and then dark shadow at the end for a smoky eye look. She also put on false eyelashes and filled in her brows. She finished the look with some blush, bronzer, and a light shade of pink lipstick.

"Wow. That's so cool and pretty," Clary commented once she was done.

"Thanks," Isabelle smiled. She glanced at the time. It was around 2 o'clock.

"Time to slip into our dresses, I think," Isabelle commented. "But first, we need to take a couple group pictures."

Jace:

It had been hours since Clary had left. He couldn't imagine how painfully long the getting ready process must've been for Clary and the other girls. Jace got into his black tux. He couldn't quite figure out the bow tie; how the 11th Doctor could handle tying one everyday, he didn't know.

"Maryse!" He called.

Maryse showed up at the door of his room, drying a plate.

"Look at you!" Maryse gushed. "You look so handsome!"

Jace smiled a little. "Thanks, Maryse. The problem is, I can't quite figure out how to tie this bow tie; could you tie it for me?"

"Of course," Maryse said, beaming. She tied it quicker than Jace could follow. Jace looked in the mirror. He didn't look bad. Of course, Isabelle will probably tell him to brush his hair.

Jace walked over and picked up Clary's corsage from the box on his night stand.

Clary:

"Girls! You can come out now!" Maryse called. Clary and her friends laughed as they left Isabelle's room. Downstairs, they found Simon, Jordan, and Jace. They were all blindfolded. Clary mischievously smiled at Izzy and then walked over to Jace and took his blindfold off.

Jace looked at her and took a breath.

"You look beautiful," he whispered.

"You don't look bad yourself." He did look pretty good, in an all black tux.

"Time for pictures!" Maryse called.

Maryse took a picture of the boys presenting their dates' their corsage.

Simon went first, a corsage with blue, purple, and green flowers and a purple butterfly. It looks awesome with her dress. Maryse then took a picture of Izzy giving Simon his boutonniere.

Next up was Jordan and Maia. Maia's corsage had peach, orange, and red roses. It was very exquisite looking.

Finally, it was Jace and Clary's turn.

Jace looked nervous as he took out the box. He took out the corsage and it was the most beautiful thing Clary had seen. And she had seen Superwholock gifs.

It had pink roses and what looked like a lily. It was perfect.

Clary held out her arm and started to put it around her wrist, stopping to pose for the picture. Once her corsage was on, she took out Jace's boutonniere. She proceeded to put it in Jace's coat pocket. Jace smiled and hugged her, kissing her shoulder.

Isabelle:

Prom was amazing. Everyone had fun. She felt a sense of accomplishment and pride when she saw Clary and Jace dancing together.

Prom ended too quickly. Thankfully, there was the after party Izzy had planned. It was a small after party; only Maia, Clary, Jordan, Jace, and of course, Simon were invited. It was a load of fun. They played truth or dare, board games, and charades.

By about 2 am, everyone was starting to get a little drowsy.

"We're going to bed," Clary yawned. She took Jace's hand and they walked upstairs.

"Wimps," Maia called.

"Don't have too much fun you two!" Isabelle called.

Jace flipped her off.

"I don't know what else to do. How about we just watch a movie?" Simon suggested.

They ended up Hairspray and sang along with the songs horribly. But no one cared.

THANK YOU FOR 200 FAVORITES AND 65K+ VIEWS/READS LIKE WOAH THAT'S MORE THAN THE POPULATION OF MY TOWN

I have never gone to prom and won't be going for a few more years so I decided I would let you guys make up what happened at prom :D

HOW ABOUT THEM OLYMPICS. I love the Olympics like you don't even know. Go Team USA!

What's ironic is I'm listening to the Sweeney Todd soundtrack as I'm editing this XD if you haven't seen Sweeney Todd, that whole part where Clary is like "he looks JUST like you!111!1" is a joke for me because Jamie Campbell Bower played Anthony in Sweeney Todd (I believe it was the first movie he was in) and he also played Jace in the TMI movie (I hope that you already knew he played Jace but just in case...)

OMG YOU GUYS THIS COMPETITOR IN THE OLYMPICS LAST NAME IS MORGENSTERN THIS IS NOT A DRILL (he isn't Swiss this is very disappointing...)

I ALSO SAW VAMPIRE ACADEMY TODAY AND IT WAS SO GOOD SEE IT NOW IT WAS JUST LIKE THE BOOK JUST QUICKER PACED
