Chapter 26
Zilconis stood above Wendy and the others laughing. Lucy was still sitting on the ground freaking out and desperatly trying to cover her naked body. This made Zilconis laugh even harder.
"Was that magic just now?" Wendy asked the dragon.
"Silly, foolish girl. Of course it was magic. All dragons can weild magic. The kind that strips humans of their dignity." he told her with a toothy sinister grin on his face.
"I weild magic to defeat you." Wendy said, her expression was serious.
"Magic to defeat me?"
"What about my clothe?!" Lucy yelled still frantically trying to cover herself.
In one swift movement Zilconis reached down and snatch Lucy up. Lucy let out a yelp as he raised her towards his jaws. Lucy struggled to free herself from the dragons grasp.
"Well then foolish girl, can you defeat before I
Devour this human female?" he taunted her.
"I will." Wendy told him as she used supporting magic on Mira.
Zilconis let out a roar full of rage. This roar knocked over those on the ground. Spreading his wings, Zilconis took flight in the sky.
"You pathetic humans can't even fly, so just trying and reach me up here."
He began to bring the naked Lucy to his jaws. She screamed and squirmed under his grasp. Zilconis was so focus on going to munch down on Lucy that he didn't see what was happening below him. Suddenly something had struck him under niether his chin. He looked at the mage how had struck him. Flying below him was Mira.
"Ha! Like that's going to work." he laughed in her face.
"Now Wendy!" Mira yelled.
Flying above Zilconis was Carla and Wendy. Using her sky dragon breathe she attacked Zilconis. This pissed him off and he sent Lucy flying through the air.
"I've got Lucy!" yelled Happy as he flew after her.
"I'm counting on you. We'll take care of Zilconis." said Wendy.
Meanwhile Natsu and future Rogue were continuing their battle. It seemed that Rogue was kicking Natsu's ass. But still Natsu continued to get back up. He stopped and listened to the sudden noise coming towards him.
"NAAAAAATSUUUUUU! HELP ME!" screamed Lucy as she came flying towards him. Happy fallowing close behind.
Before Natsu could process what was happening Lucy had smashed into him. This sent the two tumbling down towards the ground below. The two landed inside what seemed to a bell.
"Lucy! Why the hell are you naked?" Natsu asked stuggling to get the naked Lucy off of him.
"Ahhhh! Nooo!" sceamed Lucy. The two moved around in the cramped space trying to get away from each other.
"Quit squirming you idiot!" Lucy yelled at Natsu, but the bell began to move and tumble down a steep hill till it hit a brick pillar. Natsu's face landed right into Lucy's boobs.
"My eyes!" hollared Natsu.
Screaming and panicing Lucy shoved Natsu off of her and hurried out of the bell.
"Lu, what happened to your clothes?" Natsu asked.
"Just don't look." Lucy said shyly.
"Well, then I guess that leaves me no choice."
Then he placed his hand on Lucy's boobs trying to cover them up. At this she freaked out and punched Natsu in the face.
"COVER YOUR EYES!" she yelled.
As she yelled this Happy came and joined the two mages.
"Well you youngster these days are just so bold. Also Lucy i have your keys." Happy said handing Lucy her keys.
"So Lu, why don't you have any clothes on?" Natsu questioned.
"It was a dragon. A dragon stole them."
"So you couldn't do anything against that Rogue?" asked Happy.
"Not exactly. That guy is just really strong and the dragon is a pain in the ass as well." Natsu stated.
"Dragons are a pain in the ass." Lucy was telling Natsu, "There's the fire dragon and the rock dragon. There's even Zilconis. I was almost eaten by him."
"That's it!" Natsu said grabbing Lucy by the shoulders, "I've got it. There's a way to stop them."
In the town Erza smashed hard into the ground. Her swoards fell before her. All around her were the smaller dragons. Damnit, I got separated from the others, Erza thought to herself. The baby dragons began to close in on her.
My leg won't move, Erza thought bitterly to herself. She began rembering how Kagura had come up to her. Telling her that she should have rested her legs more and how she had said she was perfectly fine. So pathetic, she thought coming back to the present, I couldn't show them how weak I was. The dragon were drawing near. So this is how it ends.
Erza layed down on the ground and closed her eyes. She awaited the death that was soon to come. The dragons were drawing even closer. Before the dragons could attack her a flash of light came out of nowhere and the dragons fell to the ground. Standing above Erza in a protective stance was Jellal. Slowly opening her eyes, Erza looked up at Jellal.
"You need a hand?" he asked her.
"Yeah. Sorry." she said in a soft tone.
Jellal pulled Erza to her feet. The two were unaware of the other person staring at them. It was Miliana.
"Jellal." she said in a hushed tone.
"Miliana?" he said shocked.
Miliana's expression changed from shock to pure rage.
Meanwhile present Rogue was battling his dragon, separated from his guild. He stood there panting, trying to catch his breath. This dragon was kicking his ass.
"Why don't we end our battle Rogue? You can't defeat a dragon." it said with a snaral.
"What? How do you know my name?" questioned Rogue.
"Because I was ordered not to kill you. Only you will be allowed to live in this world and you will be come the king of it."
"What are you talking about? I don't want to becaome the king of this world. Who ever gave you that order?"
"Why you gave the orders yourself. You summoned us and are trying to become the king of the world. It's the plan you had made seven years from now."
"That's... that's nonsense."
"But it's true Rogue." a new voice join the mage and the dragon along with the pressure of an evil aura. It was the same voice that he had heard while fighting Gajeel. He turned and looked at the ground to see the shadow that had posessed him before.
"It's the truth. I am you other future, your shadow, and your hearts dark side."
"Shut up... Shut up! SHUT UP!" screamed Rogue as he stomped his foot on the shadow and it disappeared.
"Come on Rogue. Just except that you heart is filled with darkness and except your future." the dragon groweled.
"No. It's all a lie. It has to be." Rogue said falling to his knees unaware that Ultear was watching the whole scene between the dragon slayer and dragon. Debating to kill the slayer.
"JELLAL!" sceamed Miliana in rage.
"Miliana wait." Erza pleeded with her.
"Erza it's..." began Jellal but he was cut off by Erza.
"It's not fine Jellal. Miliana I've already forgiven Jellal."
"How can you defend him? After what he did. After he killed Simon. After he had held us hostage in that tower. I can't forgive him for it. I will kill him!"
"Even if you kill him what good will that do? You won't get anything out of it."
"So your telling me to just let this go? Bullshit Erza!"
"That's wrong." joined a new voice. The trio turned to see who the new voice belonged to. Standing there was Ultear.
"Your hatred has always been misguided." she told Miliana.
"Who are you?" asked Miliana.
"Ultear..." Jellal warned her.
"I'm the one who was controlling Jellal from the shadows."
"That's enough Ultear. Not another word." Jellal warned her again.
"It's just who I am." she said in a menicing tone. She gave a small chuckle, then began talking again, "It was just hopeless. Pretending to be on the side of justice. Kitten the one who killed Simon and forced you all to build that tower was me. I truely am rotten to the core."
As she said it she began to walk away. The three looked down at the ground glumly. They were all stuck in their thoughts.
As Ultear left the three she looked down towards the ground. She, too, was lost in her own thoughts. In order to save this world Rogue must die.
"I must kill Rogue." she said out loud to herself.
Then a sudden memory come to mind.
"If we kill him then it will be us who's strayed off the path." said a beaten up Natsu.
Ultear came back to the present and she fell onto her knees.
"This is... the real me...?"
"Juvia!" exclaimed Meredy.
"Meredy?" replied Juvia.
"Have you seen Ul anywhere?"
"No I haven't."
"Juvia! Meredy! Look out!" Alex yelled at the two.
Before they could process what was happening Lyon had tackled the two girls to the ground. Just as the three hit the ground a blast blew past them. Grey froze the baby dragon in it's place and shattered it.
"Are you okay Juvia, Meredy, Lyon?" Alex asked them as she walked over to the three to help them up with Celia fallowing her lead.
"Alex, you shouldn't be here. You should resting. Your side needs to heal." Juvia told the injured girl.
"Juvia's right A. You need to rest." Gray agreed helping Lyon to his feet.
"I'll be fine."
"JUVIA! ALEX! LOOK OUT!" Lyon screamed pointing to the baby dragon that had just appeared.
The two didn't have time to react when they saw a flash of light and the force of something pushing them to the ground. It was as if everything was happening in slow motion. The two mages look up to see what the force was and their eyes grew wide with shock and horror.
Stand there was Grey. His hand outstreched and just below where his heart was a gaping whole. Blood splurted from his mouth. Everyone just stared at him in horror. More dragon appeared out of thin air, all prepearing for attack. Gray turn his head to look in Alex and Juvia's direction. He looked straight at her. His eyes wide with shock.
Even more beams of light began to shoot at Gray. All of them hit each part of his body till finally one beam struck him straight through the head. His body seemed as if it was falling ever so slowly. There was nothing Alex could do but sit there on the ground and stare as her beloved's body hit the ground. The thud his body made ecohed through Alex's ears.
"GRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAYYY!" Alex screamed the top of her lungs as tears poured from her wide, shock filled eyes. Her heart felt as if it was breaking into a million pieces. How could this be happening? This couldn't be happening. It had to be a dream. There was noway that the man she loved was lying dead in front of her. This just wasn't real. It just couldn't be. It couldn't.
