Six days and ten hours had passed since the SAMCRO, SAMTAZ, and SAMTAC members and family piled into the ICU waiting room, taking it completely over. Jax had issued out that any non-member was to be with a fully patched member if they wanted to leave. Luckily for Hanna, she had Hap and his overprotective tendencies. He didn't let her go anywhere, if she needed anything, he'd go get it or send someone to do it.

Just about every day, the SAMCRO would go on a hunting spree for Mayans. Any Mayan they could find would suffice and they'd take him to one of their many warehouses for information. Hanna, the girls and Gemma were always left in Key's care. Even though he wasn't a fully patched member yet, Hap trusted Key. Key had proven many of times that he would lay down his life for Hanna and his daughters, earning Hap's trust along the way.

The Sons walked into the waiting room to see most everyone chatting with each other. Juice made a beeline for Roni and Vee while Happy slowly scanned the room for his wife. Upon spotting her talking to Donna, he smiled. Seeing her smile despite the current situation the family was in, he loved that. She could always find something to smile about and after beating on him about keeping their faith for Kozik, he quit being so morbid about everything.

"I'm stealing my wife back, sorry Donna." Hap pressed a kiss to Hanna's head as he pulled her out of her chair and she waved to her sister-in-law. He led her to any empty corridor and pulled her flush against him, his hands slowly wrapping themselves around her waist and his face getting buried in her neck.

Hanna wrapped her arms around Hap as best she could, feeling the tension and frustration cascade off him. "What is it, baby?"

"I'm just tired of the on-going war… This shit needs to calm the fuck down." The Killer in him loved it but the husband and father in him just wanted everything to be safe again so his girls could happily go home and be out of harm's way.

Hanna pushed her husband away from her, smirking at his furrowed brow and confused facial expression. "Where's the man that loves all this shit? Huh? Look, baby, I know I hate it and all but that doesn't mean you have to hate it too… It doesn't make me love you any less." Seeing the smile spread across his face made her laugh and she just couldn't stop. "Come here, Killa." Standing on her toes, she pressed her lips to his.

Veronica wrapped her arms around her mother's neck as soon as Hanna picked her up from Juice's lap, taking her away from her favorite Son. When they stopped moving, Roni pulled away from Hanna a little bit and turned to be faced with her father. "Here, Hap, take her." Roni heard her mother's soft voice in a whisper but remained silent as she was passed between her parents.

Happy pressed his lips to his daughter's cheek before her head fell to his shoulder, one arm wrapping around his neck while the other rested against him. Hap felt Roni's breathing even out and he checked to see if she'd fallen asleep. When he got the confirmation, his free hand grabbed ahold of Hanna's hand, pulling it to rest on his thigh.

"I'm going to go in there in a little bit. Donut and Lorca are in there, though." Hanna heard Happy speak to her but she didn't feel like saying anything else. She instead nodded her head and focused her attention on Jax who was walking up and down the hallway, holding a crying Vee.

"Let me go get her before he shoots himself…" Hanna quickly moved across the room to grab her daughter. She got in front of Jax, halting his pacing back and forth. "Hey, let me have her… she's probably ready for a nap."

"No, it's ok… I got her." Jax began his protest. But seeing the look on Hanna's face told him she was too tired to argue back so he handed over the one year old.

"Thanks, Jax… ya know, for trying to have a relationship with them." Hanna situated Vee so she was comfortable. She noticed the baby had stopped crying but she chose not to address it.

"What are you talking about? I love them… forget the circumstances, they're the best things ever." Jax brushed off Hanna's jaded compliment and moved to hug her. Wrapped up in his arms, he smiled, feeling that old feeling of her in his arms… It was nostalgic and he loved it, he honestly didn't want to let her go but he knew, sooner rather than later, attention would be drawn to the ex-lovers.

Hanna smiled, pulled away from him and walked back to where she was sitting. Receiving a confused look from Happy, she shrugged it off. "Don't ask, I have no clue what that was about."

A few hours had passed and everyone was starting to get too antsy. Happy watched his president saunter over to a coffee table and stand on top of it. "Alright, guys, hey, SONS!" Jax was trying to get everyone's attention and he seemed to do a good job of it. "Doc says Kozik's health is declining… He's not responding to the meds they're giving him. Doc wants to pull the plug."

Gasps erupted around the room. But only one person stood and spoke as bold as she could. "No." The blonde beauty was now the center of attention and all eyes were on here. "We're not pulling the damn plug until that's our only option. Change his fuckin' meds and we will wait."

"Ma'am, we've had Mr. Kozik on three different types of medication. We even reduced the dosage, hoping that he would pull himself out the coma. That was two days ago when we changed the dosage." Dr. Andrews stood beside Jax now, looking around the waiting room at all the faces staring back at him.

"Two days? It's been two whole days? Wow! Get yourself a fuckin' gold star…" She wasn't finished but the hand that landed over her mouth after she finished her sentence said otherwise. Hanna's ocean blue eyes met dark brown eyes and she turned away just as fast as their eyes connected.

"You're not giving it enough to actually simmer, Doc… give it some time. Give his body some time to get used to the meds, then come talk to us about caskets and shit. Let him try to fight!" Happy removed his hand from over Hanna's mouth and stepped in front of her.

The doctor nodded his head at the heavily tattooed man before walking out of the waiting room. Happy quickly turned around to face his damn fireball of a wife. Damn woman had a pistol for a mouth and Hap was sure she'd get herself in trouble with it one way or another.

An all knowing smirk painted itself across Happy's face and he rubbed the back of his neck. "You done or you wanna start in on me?" He asked the blonde, the smirk still on his face.

Hanna raised an eyebrow and shrugged her shoulders. "You wanna act like a dumbass today too?" When Hap shook his head, the blonde started to smile. He walked closer to her and pulled her to him. "What's with all this sweetness? When'd you get all sentimental and so public?"

Hap chuckled, pulling away from her, he pushed her into the chair behind her and squatted down in front of her. "You want me to smack you around a little bit?" Hanna laughed and shook her head. "Alright then, shut up complainin'." He pulled her up and turned them around so he could sit down before pulling her into his lap. "Koz would be proud of you for standing up for him, ya know?"

"I hope so… but Hap?" She looked at him and he raised an eyebrow at her. "It's my fault he's in here… If I had just let him leave the house a little sooner, he wouldn't have been late to the warehouse… If he wasn't late then he wouldn't have been riding by himself. It's my fault he was shot at."

"What the fuck? No it's not, Hanna. Shut up, now! He was just an open target to the fuckin' Mayans. You didn't do a damn thing wrong. You understand me?" He hooked a finger under her chin, forcing her to look at him. Upon seeing her nod her head, he pressed a kiss to her lips.

AN: Koz is still under the fog of his coma and it's not looking very good for him. Let me know what you beautiful people think, ;)
