So...home sick from work but it looks like my stomach bug is your gain.

Lucy tumbled through the air unsure what the hell was happening or even which way was up everything was a blur of colors. Mind thinking rapidly she focused on the first spirit that had a knack of showing up when death became a very real possibility. Horologium, Lucy mentally cried since she couldn't seem to stop her panicked wail long enough to summon her spirit properly. Familiar chimes cut through the loud buffeting winds before Lucy felt the familiar and very welcome wooden casings shelter her.

Her screams ended as Lucy was finally able get her bearings, let the adrenaline bleed from her system as she watched curiously through the glass pane as she rapidly approached a vaguely familiar airship.

Zen was closing in swiftly channeling his magic through his black wings to give an extra boost of speed when his target was replaced with a grandfather clock… He swerved quickly and the flying clock shot toward him narrowly missing a collision but also unfortunately getting caught in a cross stream and losing control for a few seconds.

It didn't take long to recover but in the precious seconds it had taken he'd sworn and realised the clock was a celestial spirit likely contracted to the mage he was planning on saving.

As an Archangel mage his magic was more closely tied to the celestial plane than other stellar mages being more similar to the spirits the mages like this woman could summon than the mages themselves. With that came a recognition with the otherworldly beings, an understanding of who they were just like they knew who he was.

This spirit was of the clock constellation Horologium and could apparently fly...

Turning quickly feeling a little disappointed and superfluous Zen made his way back to the ship swiftly. It was a very real need to protect a light such as this woman contained and he'd just been denied that satisfaction.

"We have arrived safely Miss Lucy," Horologium announced after a none too soft landing on the ship's deck. "'I'm going to need a minute,' she says woozily."

Vander, being Vander and already feeling better at Lucy's nearness, sauntered up to the front of the strange clock and tapped on the glass. "Couldn't keep away?" he asked not even trying to keep the smirk off his face.

"'Oh yes, just thought I'd drop in,' she says testilly," Holorogium narrated as Lucy half heartedly glared.

If possible Vander looked even more amused.

"Someone you know?" Zen questioned letting his wings disappear now that he was safely back on the ship. It was slight but the shadowquip mage could swear his older brother was pouting.

"Ah yes this is Sunshine," he introduced. "Are you ready to come out of there yet Sunshine?" He tapped on the glass again.

"'Fine,' she huffs irritatedly," the clock said.

"Thanks for the save Horologium," was the first thing Lucy said as she stepped out of her spirit.

"It was hardly necessary since the archangel was present but you are welcome." The grandfather clock poofed away.

"Archangel?" she questioned only to be faced with a wall of muscles. Up and up and up Lucy lifted her chin. The man was tall and entirely too close to speak with comfortably but she couldn't take a step back, couldn't even look away from his handsome face. There was a darkness, a weight, to him that made her overly large heart want to protect him from the world even though she doubted she could.

"Lucy," Vander whispered in her ear teasingly wrapping her firmly in his hold. "This is my brother Zen the Archangel your spirit mentioned. He was able to grab you right before you summoned your spirit and is a little put out now I'd wager. He has a thing for celestial mages you see," he said keeping the blonde in his arms safely between him and his brother. Oh the look in his eyes promised all sorts of vengeance once they were alone.

"Hn," tall dark and handsome said with a slight nod.
