CHAPTER 25
Curse of ShamanMan
"And we're here with the last match of the A Division!" announced Ribbita as she leaned over her desk to watch the battle, "And I can tell you that there isn't really a whole lot of stuff going on." Indeed, the battle itself was moving rather slowly, namely due to the fact that the field was completely engulfed in a giant cloud of dust. Occassionally a flash of light would be seen, but other than that nothing else was visible.
"Well, DustMan sure lives up to his name," said Tory.
"I've never seen so much dust," said Lan.
"What about that time mom told you to vacuum under your bed?" reminded MegaMan.
"Uh, guys? I think the match is over." Everyone turned their heads at Sean's words and looked. The cloud of dust was dying down. When it had finally settled, Glyde was lying on the ground with DustMan standing victoriously over him.
GLYDE LOGGING OUT
"And with that rather...er...interesting match, the Division A eliminations are done, and so has the Den 500 for today! Tomorrow, we'll be watching the competitors in Division B in their elimination rounds! This is Ribbita signing off."
o o o
"So how's Yai doing?" asked Dex.
"She's still upset that she lost her match," answered Sean as he re-entered into the hallway and shut the door to Yai's room behind him, "Nothing but a little Netopian strawberry milk can't cure."
"As usual. But Sean, where the hell are we going to find some cheap Netopian strawberry milk?" asked Lan.
"Lan, that's about as much of an oxymoron as 'American intelligence,'" said Tory. (A/N: No offense to Americans. It's just a standing joke one of my friends really loves.)
"Why don't you just try the old Sean charm?" asked Axl.
"You think I haven't tried?" Sean replied, "There are just some things sensitivity can't accomplish."
"Anyway, I better get going or I'll be late for work," said Lan, "See you guys, later."
"We'll order extra curry just so you work double-time," said Dex.
"Har har," the headbanded NetBattler replied dryly before heading back to his room to grab his work clothes and then leaving.
"You know, I never thought I'd see the day when Lan said he'd be late for work," said Tory, "Life's just full of surprises."
o o o
"And with that rather...er...interesting match, the Division A eliminations are done, and so has the Den 500 for today! Tomorrow, we'll be watching the competitors in Division B in their elimination rounds! This is Ribbita signing off."
Master Chaos switched off the television monitor and turned back to the other screens surrounding him.
"Amazing what these fools can get excited about," he said, "Now, it is time to obtain the next code that will gain me access to Genesis' data." Holding out his hand, a keypad appeared in the air and he punched in a few commands. One of the monitors on his right switched to a screen with the words "SOUND ONLY" displayed.
"You wish to speak to me, Master Chaos?" a young male voice asked.
"Hao, I have a task for you. Go to this location and obtain the SpiritCode." Master Chaos sent the information through and the being on the other end of the line received it.
"It shall be done."
"Don't fail me like the rest, Hao," Master Chaos warned before turning off the monitor and turning his chair to face a large screen displaying a map of the world. Meanwhile, on the other end of the line, the one called Hao had just switched off his com monitor.
"Unlike them, Master Chaos, I possess powers that no normal human can ever hope to survive against." Getting up off the pillow he was sitting on, Hao's face came into the light. He was still only in his teens with long brown hair going down at least as his waist. Clad in nothing but a pair of dark blue pants, he made his way across the room and picked up a red and yellow PET.
"Let's get this over with."
(A/N: No, this is NOT Hao Asakura from Shaman King, but I did somewhat base this character off him.)
o o o
Lan arrived for work five minutes earlier than his usual arrival time and immediately went over to the computer by the phone, where the delivery orders were kept.
"Oh Lan," Yahoot called from the kitchen, "I have a small favor to ask of you."
"Sure. What is it?" asked Lan as he scrolled through the orders.
"I've sent MagicMan into Net City to take care of a few errands for the restaurant. Do you suppose MegaMan could lend him a hand?"
"Sure, why not?" Lan took out his PET and aimed it at a nearby sensor, "Jack in!! MegaMan, power up!"
o o o
MegaMan arrived in Net City through the new Maha Ichiban stand. MagicMan was already waiting for him outside and waved him over.
"So MagicMan, what're we doing today?" asked MegaMan.
"Yahoot needs some new spices for his curry," replied MagicMan, "And he needs it fast, so we better hurry. Then we need to go order a new stove. We should be able to find one at the Appliance Cove."
"MagicMan, there's a question I've wanted to ask you for a very long time," said MegaMan, "Why is it that you always talk in rhyme?"
"It was in my program, that is all I can say. I was just simply made to be that way."
"Let's just do this quickly and hurry on back. So then when I get home I can hit the sack. See? Now you've got me hooked. At least it's not as bad as when Lan first cooked."
After finally managing to stop their conversation, the two Navis headed down the street and began running their errands.
o o o
Hao walked through the streets of DenTech City searching for a place close to his destination to jack in. He had thrown on a black vest but hadn't bothered to zip it up.
"This is it," Hao said to himself as he looked up at the building that loomed in front of him, "The Internet City Administration Center." He stepped into a nearby phonebooth and jacked in.
o o o
Red warning lights flashed all over the center as various Net City personnel rushed to investigate the situation.
"What's the problem?" one of the managers asked.
"Sir, there's been a breach in our security system!" one of the techs replied, "Something's trying to get through."
"Get me a visual!"
"Roger!" Another tech quickly brought up a map of the system on one of the large screens on the console. A red blip was moving at an alarming speed through the network.
"Prepare the guardian protocol," ordered the manager. As he turned his gaze back to the screen, he could have sworn he saw something fly by.
What was that?
he wondered. Suddenly, he saw it again. A black shadow passed by the screen and disappeared. On his third look, he saw what he thought was some sort of ghost."Contact the Official NetBattlers. We need their help."
o o o
Lan had just returned from his eighth delivery when he got a message on his PET. He excused himself for a moment from the former World Three and walked into the bathroom. He shut himself inside a stall and opened up the line. The face of Famous instantly appeared before him.
"Lan, we've just received word that the Net City Administration Building is under attack by a mysterious Navi," said the leader of the Official NetBattlers, "Go investigate the situation immediately."
"Roger that," said Lan.
"Chaud has also been informed," Famous added, "As both an Official NetBattler and an administrator of Net City, it's his duty as well to find out what the problem is." And with that, he severed the transmission.
"Since when was Chaud ever a Net City administrator?" Lan asked himself as he exited the bathroom, "Yahoot. Count Zap. Madd. Mr. Match. I gotta go. I need to take care of some important business."
"MagicMan will accompany MegaMan," said Yahoot.
"Thanks. Don't worry, I'll make up for the time lost." And with those words said, Lan donned his rollerblades and took off.
o o o
"Lan's just come through with our objective," said MegaMan as he and MagicMan flew through cyberspace out of Net City, "We have to get into the Net City administration system and find the cause of this problem."
"Well we're almost there, so be prepared," replied MagicMan. The two Navis exited cyberspace and entered a blue replica of Net City.
"This place is filled with Spooky viruses!" the blue NetNavi exclaimed upon entering the system, "Let's take them down, MagicMan."
"Sounds like a plan, MegaMan!"
"MegaBuster!"
"Magic Fire!"
Purple plasma shots burst from the barrel of MegaMan's buster, hitting the Spookies and deleting them. MagicMan held out his arm and launched a stream of blue fire data, which deleted an entire row of the viruses.
"Nice work."
"Not so bad yourself, MegaMan. Now let's hurry and stop his evil plan!"
The Navis continued forward and arrived at the center of the system, where a mysterious Navi was standing next to a glowing blue ball. But what caught MegaMan's eye was ProtoMan lying facedown on the floor.
"ProtoMan!" MegaMan ran over to the silver-haired Navi and say him up, "You okay?"
"MegaMan," ProtoMan gasped, "Watch out...for his..."
"Take it easy, ProtoMan."
o o o
"Chaud!" Chaud turned and saw Lan skidding to a halt just next to him.
"About time you got here," he said smuggly.
"ProtoMan looks pretty beat. Let me and MegaMan take care of it."
"I'm not sure if even MegaMan could take out this Navi, but alright." Chaud logged out ProtoMan and stepped back for Lan to take over.
o o o
"Alright, just who are you?" demanded MegaMan.
The Navi stepped into the light. His appearance was far different from any NetNavi in existence. While most wore a standard bodysuit, this one was clad only in shorts and an unzipped vest, all covered with a white cloak. And unlike all other Navis, this one wore no form of headgear, leaving his head completely exposed. Long black hair flowed from the top of his head all the way down to his knees. A necklace of teeth with a pendant of a tombstone (most likely his icon) hung from around his neck. He still wore standard gloves and boots like other Navis. In one hand, he carried a long staff. Two Spooky3 viruses hovered on either side of him and a Shadow3 floated right behind him. Two flames burned brightly of incense on his shoulders.
"The call me.…ShamanMan!"
"ShamanMan, huh? Just what do you think you're doing?" asked MegaMan.
"Taking the SpiritCode, what else?" replied ShamanMan as he placed a hand on the sphere.
"I don't think so!"
"Right, MegaMan!" Vulcan Battlechip in, download!" MegaMan's buster transformed into a Vulcan and the blue Navi took aim and fired.
"Dark Shadow Spirit!" ShamanMan held up his free hand and the Shadow3 behind him shrunk into his palm and he slammed it into his chest. Instantly, he turned completely black and the Vulcan blasts passed through him.
"Alright then, try this! LongSword Battlechip in, download!" Lan slid in a new chip and MegaMan's Vulcan instantly transformed into a LongSword.
"Shadows are invulnerable to all except swords." MegaMan rushed up to ShamanMan and slashed him. "Score!"
"I don't think so!" MegaMan turned and looked in horror as the Shadow3 left ShamanMan's body and the Spooky3 on his left entered his body. A green glow surrounded him and the HP that he had lost was restored.
"And now, try this!" The Spooky3 exited his body and the one on his right went in. Immediately upon entering, ShamanMan disappeared from view.
"He went invisible!" exclaimed Lan.
"Damn, where'd he go?" MegaMan asked himself. His answer came when ShamanMan struck the back of his neck with his staff.
"So this is the so-called great MegaMan," said ShamanMan as he came back into view, "You're pathetic."
"I'm not done for, yet," the emerald-eyed Navi said as he struggled back onto his feet.
"You will be after this!" said ShamanMan, "Spirits of the past, heed my call! Come to me and bring this fool's downfall! I summon you all back from the grave, destroy MegaMan in a ghostly wave!" ShamanMan swung his staff and a ghostly mist began to form.
"What's going on?" asked MegaMan as he looked around. A ghost of ShadeMan suddenly jumped out at him and he fell back with a yelp.
"Aww, man," Lan groaned, "If there's one thing MegaMan's afraid of, it's ghosts!"
All around MegaMan, more ghosts of Navis appeared from the mist. The blue Navi shut his eyes tight and tried to drown out the ghostly cries that circled around him.
"Your ghosts don't scare me! Magic Fire!" MagicMan fired a shot at ShamanMan only to have it evaded by his Shadow3.
"I have no business with you, MagicMan," said ShamanMan as he leapt high into the air, "Time to finish MegaMan now that he's under the power of my ghostly abilities. Spirit Flame!" The incense burners on his shoulders instantly began burning brighter and a fireball appeared in his hand. ShamanMan drew back his arm and unleashed a powerful stream of fire down on MegaMan.
"MegaMan...." Lan brought his PET up and pressed the icon button.
MEGAMAN LOGGING OUT
The Spirit Flame struck the floor, leaving a large scorch mark where it had hit.
"The coward has run." ShamanMan landed and grabbed the SpiritCode, "Perhaps we'll meet again later, MagicMan. Until then, farewell."
SHAMANMAN LOGGING OUT
"MagicMan, you better log out, too," said Yahoot as he logged out his Navi.
o o o
"How is he?" asked Chaud.
"Not good," Lan replied, "He's petrified with fear. He's never been overwhelmed by this much fear, before." He looked at his empty PET screen. Inside, MegaMan was huddled in a corner curled up in a ball with his head between his knees. Lan slid his PET back into its case and left.
"There's nothing we can do," said Chaud.
"But I wish there was!" said Lan as he punched the wall, "How did ShamanMan know that MegaMan was afraid of ghosts?"
"The Dark Nation, Lan. They have spies and satellites keeping an eye on the entire world. They operate through fear and darkness."
"Fear and darkness?"
"Remember the DreamMan incident earlier today? That is the power of the Dark Nation. They use fear and the darkness in people's hearts to get what they want."
"The fear part I can understand," said Lan as he looked down at his PET case, "But the darkness in people's hearts? Isn't that kinda like the revenge thing Gospel had?"
"Revenge is only a small part of the darkness," Chaud explained, "Fear, anger, hatred, jealousy. The Dark Nation puts these feelings to their own use. They toy with others' emotions."
"That is just wrong!"
"The Dark Nation has no morals. They can turn suffering into strength, pain into power. It doesn't matter who they use so long as darkness resides in their hearts."
"Hold on a second, Chaud. How do you know so much about them?"
"Unlike you, I actually read." Chaud ran a hand through his hair before turning around and leaving.
o o o
Hao returned to the Dark Nation's headquarters to find the other agents glaring at him angrily.
"Well, it's not my fault you all failed your missions," he said as he walked past them and entered the chamber where Master Chaos waited.
"Your mission was successful, I presume," the cloaked leader of the NetTerrorist group noted as the operator of ShamanMan entered.
"Yes, Master Chaos. I have obtained the SpiritCode and have rendered MegaMan into a state of pure terror," Hao replied as he jacked his PET into the computer on the side, where ShamanMan deposited the stolen code.
"Interesting. Tell me Hao, what was it that drove MegaMan into such a state of fear?" Hao smirked.
"It was his phasmophobia," he replied. Master Chaos grinned beneath his hood.
"This information will prove to be very useful. Excellent work, Hao."
"Thank you, Master Chaos."
Meanwhile, outside in the corridor Sid had just removed his ear from a glass that he had pressed against the door.
"What's phasmophobia?" he asked Lucy.
"That's the fear of ghosts," his sister replied.
"Hao, you've proven yourself to be among the elite Dark Nation agents. Can you handle another mission?" asked Master Chaos.
"Yes. I am prepared," came the reply. Master Chaos grabbed a datapad and threw it at Hao, who caught it in his hand.
"The details are all there."
"Thank you." Hao bowed deeply before turning around and leaving.
o o o
The next day, the first thing Lan did when he woke up was check up on MegaMan. He looked at his PET screen and saw no sign of his Navi.
"MegaMan, you can't just hide inside your PET forever," the NetBattler said. A small whimper was the only response he got. Sean watched from his seat and sighed.
"Axl, is there anything you can do?" he asked.
"Well, I'm no psychologist but I'll do what I can," said Axl. He streamed out from Sean's PC and appeared inside Lan's. From there, he took the connection from the computer to the PET and appeared beside MegaMan.
"MegaMan, are you just going to sit there and cower in fear for the rest of your programmed life?" Axl asked. His only reply was a whimper.
"Look MegaMan, everybody's afraid of something. You just have to get over it." Still no verbal response. Beginning to get frustrated, Axl grabbed the front of MegaMan's bodysuit and yanked him up onto his feet and the blue Navi found himself looking straight into Axl's eyes.
"Listen, blue boy! Get over your phasmophobia! Everyone's afraid of something, but we don't let that stop us! So what if your opponent can summon ghosts? You think that makes him any better than you? That's just a cheap trick to render you defenseless! MegaMan, if you can't face up to your fears, then there's no point in you continuing to fight! Hell, you shouldn't even be able to participate in the Den 500!" Axl took a few deep breaths and waited.
"I...I just...can't...." MegaMan looked down at his boots. Glaring angrily at the other Navi, Axl lowered his arm and punched MegaMan in the face, letting him fall back against the walls of the PET.
"You're not the MegaMan I once knew," said Axl as he turned his back on MegaMan, "The MegaMan I know would never give up on anything, no matter how bad the situation."
"Axl…" A new stream of data suddenly dropped down and deposited MagicMan.
"MegaMan, ShamanMan has exploited your greatest fear and soon he will make you lose all that you hold dear," the wizard-like Navi said, "This moping around, it will do you no good. Your fear of ghosts has gotten to you, ShamanMan knew that it would. He brought you down and now you must rise. He enjoys your pain and relishes your cries. Your goal is clear, as clear as it can. You must go beat ShamanMan!"
"Well it rhymes, but the arrangement is horrendous," said Axl. Just then, MegaMan got up to his feet.
"Axl, MagicMan, you're right. I gotta face my fears." MegaMan smiled and held out his hand, "Now what do you say we go take down ShamanMan?"
"Glad to have you back, MegaMan," said Axl as he placed his hand on top of MegaMan's. MagicMan placed one of his bulbs on top of the pile and the three Navis nodded.
"Delete!"
"I hate to rain on your parade, guys, but you don't even know where to start looking for ShamanMan," said Sean. Everybody groaned. Just then, the e-mail icon flashed and MegaMan answered it.
"We do now," he said, "Let's go."
o o o
Chaos was erupting everywhere at DenTech Colleseum by the time Lan and Sean arrived.
"Why isn't Yahoot with us?" asked Sean.
"He has to run the curry restaurant, so he'll be operating MagicMan from there," said Lan. They quickly ran inside and went up to the announcer's box.
"If there was time, I'd stop to appreciate the view of the rink," said Sean when they arrived, "Jack in!! Axl, power up!"
"And jack in!! MegaMan, power up!"
The teens aimed their PETs at the jack in sensor and two red lasers shot into it, sending their Navis into the system. Upon their arrival, they instantly started blasting the viruses in the vicinity right before MagicMan appeared behind them.
"Have some of this! Mega Buster!" MegaMan fired a multitude of plasma shots at the surrounding Spooky2's and deleted them.
"Axl Gun!" Axl's left hand morphed into his Shotgun and he unleashed a volley of energy bullets.
"The key to Shadows is to hack. I'll send some Swordies to attack!" Right then and there, MagicMan held out his hand and summoned several Swordy viruses to attack the Shadows.
"Spirit Flame!" MegaMan looked up and saw a stream of fire blazing down towards them at high speed.
"Hold on, MegaMan! Soul Unison: Roll Soul Battlechip in, download!" Lan slid the chip into his PET and MegaMan instantly transformed into MegaMan Roll Soul. A pink energy barrier rose up and blocked the flames, protecting him, Axl, and MagicMan from total incineration.
"Well well, if it isn't MegaMan," ShamanMan said tauntingly as he floated down from above with the stolen code in his hand, "Think you've finally got the courage to face me?"
"I don't need to think," said MegaMan, "I know."
"Then let's get down to business! Spirit Flame!" ShamanMan sent forth another stream of flames towards the Navis, but their operators were prepared.
"Alright, MagicMan. Jelly Battlechip in, download!" Yahoot slid the chip into his PET from behind the Maha Ichiban counter. A rush of water instantly rose up and blocked the attack.
"That was a very close shave, but my Jelly stop it with its wave!" said MagicMan.
"I can deal with you two later. But right now I'm more interested in how my spell is going to affect MegaMan." ShamanMan smirked as he raised his staff over his head and swung it around.
"Spirits of the past, heed my call! Come to me and bring this fool's downfall! I summon you all back from the grave, destroy MegaMan in a ghostly wave!" Once again, the ghostly mist appeared and the spirits of departed Navis appeared once again.
"Uh, Lan?" MegaMan asked nervously.
"MegaMan, shut your eyes now!" Lan ordered.
"What?!"
"Do it!"
"Alright, if you say so." Following Lan's advice, MegaMan shut his eyes tight, sealing off his sight.
"A foolish move, MegaMan," said ShamanMan, "How do you intend to fight if you can't see?"
"I don't need my eyes to beat you, ShamanMan," replied MegaMan, "I have my NetOp."
"Alright MegaMan, here you go. Soul Unison: Search Soul Battlechip in, download!" As soon as the chip was registered, MegaMan transformed. His pink armor went green and his right arm morphed into a sniper rifle.
"Alright, MegaMan. Follow my directions exactly," said Lan, "Aim forty-five degrees to your right and five degrees up."
"Gotcha." MegaMan held out his weapon and, using a mental grid map, he took aim and fired. The energy bullet burst from the barrel of the rifle and struck ShamanMan, causing the ghosts to dissipate.
"You did it, MegaMan!" exclaimed Axl. MegaMan slowly opened his eyes and saw that the ghosts had all disappeared.
"Yeah! You're right!" He then turned and looked at ShamanMan, who was just getting up.
"You think you can defeat me just by stopping my ghosts?" he asked, "Well you're wrong!"
"Alright, ShamanMan. Show them what it's like to face the power of a shaman," Hao pulled out a GigaChip and slid it into his PET, "Spirit Integration GigaChip in, download!"
"You are finished!" ShamanMan held up his hand and his Shadow3 and two Spooky3's came together into his palm to form a glowing energy ball, which he slammed into his staff. The result was a weapon with two skulls over ShamanMan's hand and the rest covered in a black aura.
"Spirit Flame Transcended!" The flames of ShamanMan's incense burners extended into his staff and he shot an extremely powerful stream at the Navis, knocking them all back and forcing MegaMan out of Soul Unison.
"Damn! He's strong," Axl muttered as he sat back up. The black aura surrounding ShamanMan's weapon glowed bright blue for a moment before his staff transformed into a sword.
"His Shadow3 can change into any blade and into one his staff has been made," exclaimed MagicMan.
"I am going to delete you all!" said ShamanMan as he approached, "And I'll start with MegaMan!"
"MegaMan…" MagicMan moaned, "His flame has damaged me so. Take my power and go!"
"MagicMan…" Instantly, the icon on MegaMan's chest and on MagicMan's shoulders began to glow. The two Navis stood back up and faced each other. A faint pink light shone out from MagicMan's icons and went into MegaMan's. The wizard Navi soon disappeared and a new power was awakened. MegaMan clenched his fist as a red indented bulb formed around his wrist. Light blue armor slid down over his legs and his boots changed to a black-brown color as the rest of his bodysuit changed color to match that of the armor. The power pack on his back instantly transformed into a brown leather-bound spell book and his shoulder pads were replaced by a pair of spikes. A small red gem formed in the center of his helmet as two crests reminiscent of MagicMan's ears appeared along where the light blue stripes usually were and the top of his helmet extended up and back slightly while the brim of MagicMan's hat seemed to form just over his eyes and stopping halfway from completely encircling his headgear. A cream-colored mouthguard covered the lower half of his face and MegaMan stepped forward and stood before ShamanMan.
"MegaMan Magic Soul!"
Lan looked in wonder and awe at the new Soul Unison that had formed before his very eyes.
"It's amazing," said Sean. MegaMan held out his hand and pointed at ShamanMan.
"Let's see whose magic is stronger!" he said.
"That answer is quite clear," said ShamanMan as he rushed towards MegaMan at full speed. The green-eyed Navi grinned beneath his mouthguard as he raised his arm and pointed upward.
"KillerEye!" Instantly, a KillerEye appeared and fired an electrical beam at the incoming ShamanMan, hitting him dead-on.
"Alright, MegaMan!" Lan cheered, "I get it now! Magic Soul gives you the power to summon viruses to the field! Awesome!"
While ShamanMan was getting zapped, MegaMan held out his open palm down in front of him and a Spikey3 appeared.
"Hit him with a HeatSide!" he commanded. The Spikey3 obeyed and launched a fireball at ShamanMan, exploding on contact and blasting him back.
"Damn you, MegaMan!" he snarled.
"Too hot for you, ShamanMan?" asked MegaMan, "Cool down with a Shrimpy virus! BubbleShot attack!" A Shrimpy instantly formed beside the Spikey3 and shot a BubbleShot at ShamanMan.
"Time to end this!" MegaMan held out both arms and his hands retracted into the indented bulbs around his wrists, "Magic Fire!" Two stream of blue fire data shot out from the his arms and hit ShamanMan with incredible force.
"ShamanMan, this fight is over," said Hao, "Grab the DestinyCode and get out of there now." Cursing under his breath, ShamanMan leapt to the side and grabbed the code from where he dropped it on the floor and threw his cloak over himself.
"You may have won this round, but I'll be back!"
SHAMANMAN LOGGING OUT
"Damn, he got away!" Axl moaned as he snapped his fingers.
"But at least we beat him," said MegaMan.
o o o
The operators logged out their Navis and Lan slid a blank chip into his PET, which came out with MagicMan's icon on it.
"Magic Soul. Quite possibly one of the best Soul Unisons we've ever come across," said Lan.
"You say that about all of them, Lan," MegaMan laughed.
"So, how does it feel now that you're not afraid of ghosts?"
"Pretty good actually," the blue Navi answered as he placed his arms behind his head.
"Good, because there's one right behind you now."
"Huh?" MegaMan turned around and saw himself face-to-face with a ghostly white figure, "AAAAAAAAAHHH!!"
"Relax, it's just me," said Axl laughing as he pulled the sheet off his head. In the real world, both Lan and Sean were laughing, as well.
"Hmph! Not funny, guys," MegaMan sniffed.
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Yes people, MegaMan really is afraid of ghosts.
