Naruto's Adventures in Rukongai Finale Pt. 1
"You!" Kyoraku exclaimed seeing the two Akatsuki members. His eyes widening in surprise.
"Well," Kakuzu said to his partner, "Look at what we have here. A Shinigami Captain, the Nine-Tails Jinchuuriki, and a cat. Not your normal combination is it, Barragan?"
The former second Espada just nodded in agreement. "It is not," he agreed with his partner. Narrowing his eyes, he looked at Kyoraku, "You're the one who defeated Starrk, right? Sunsui Kyoraku."
His eyes widening slightly Kakuzu turned to his partner, "This guy defeated Starrk?" he said turning back to the trio, "Isn't that something?" Kakuzu directed his gaze towards Naruto, "Say, since he's here why don't you say we grab the Kyuubi brat."
"Kyuubi," Shunsui said turning to Naruto, "What do they mean by that kid, I thought the Kyuubi was just a myth." Shaking his head Shunsui turned his attention back to the Akatsuki members in front of him. "Doesn't matter," he said, "These guys are the problem here." Nodding Naruto and Tora got into a stance. Naruto drawing his Zanpakto.
"I'll deal with the Captain," Kakuzu said getting into a stance, "You grab the boy and ditch the cat."
"Very well," Barrggan replied drawing an axe, "Though you will owe me quite a good sum after this."
"Not a chance," Kakuzu said. The two charged forward and Kakuzu shunshin'd in front of Shunsui delivering a powerful kick sending him flying. Meanwhile, Barragan reched out to grab Naruto who was frozen in place in fear but Tora jumped in front and attacked Barragan sending the former Espada back.
"Get out of here Naruto!" Tora yelled, "I can deal with this!" Gritting his teeth Naruto shook his head, "I'm not leaving you!" He charged at Barrgan trying to attack him with his Zanpakto but Barragan simply swatted him away with ease using the blunt end of his axe.
"Insolent boy," Barragan noted turning to Tora. "Now then, cat," he said raising his axe, "Prepare to die." Barragan brought his axe down on Tora but he just dodged with ease. Jumping onto the axe Tora ran up and started to Scratch, claw, and kick Barragan numerous times. Angered, Barragan grabbed Tora and threw him. Or at lease tried to. Tora held on to Barragan's hand and jumped up transforming into their regular male form and delivered a powerful Hakuda blow with his legs. Jumping back Tora looked down at his body.
"Huh," he said, "Forgot about the no clothes part. Geez." Making a handsign similar to the tiger hand sign a bunch of ribbons shot out from his finger tips and rapped themselves around him giving him some clothes. "Much better," he said. Narrowing his eyes Barragan looked at the man the cat turned into.
"And you are?" Barragan said angrily.
"Meshiro Shihouin," he replied, "I'd say the pleasure's all mine, but, let's be real here. The pleasure is no one's." Pivoting his feet Meshiro caused a shock wave so great it sent debris flying behind him. He charge at the Espada so quickly that Barragan didn't even see him. Moving quickly Meshiro delivered a strong cross punch right at Barrgan's face. That shock wave uprooting a few trees behind them. Growling in great frustration Barrgan swung his axe at Meshiro who jumped up onto it as it was in motion. He delivered another blow to the Espada angering Barragan even greater. Knowing the man was on it he threw the axe into the air vertically sending it twirling and causing Meshiro to lose its balance. Jumping up Barragan grabbed him by the leg and threw the Shihouin to the ground creating a crater. Balling his hands up into fists Barragan began rapid firing Balas right at Meshiro on the ground creating massive shock waves and making the crater deeper. It got to the point where there was so much dust, debris, and smoke one couldn't even see the bottom of the pit.
This man Barragan thought He'd dare show such arrogance in front of me! A God! The embodiment of time the most absolute force in the universe. How dare he show the same arrogance as Pain!
Flashback
Barrgan sat upon a rock surrounded by corpses, rain pouring down on his cloak. He looked around at the village he just destroyed. It was not the first in his rampage. Nor did he intend to make it his last in a long bloodbath the universe would have to pay him in compensation for his utter humiliation before the Gotei 13. How dare THEY strike HIM down!? A God! The arrogance, it deafened him! How dare they due such a sacrileges the neophytes!
He heard footsteps and turned around readying his Zanpakto. There, he saw two people. A boy and a girl. The girl's main noticeable features were her blue hair and cold expression. The man though had a far more unique appearance. Spiky orange hair, reminding him so much of that Substitute Shinigami, with piercing covering his body and strange purple eyes with ripples in them.
"So this is the man that's been attacking the border villages then," the girl said, "Why?"
"This is my payment," Barragan said, "The universe dared to embarrass me! It sent at me half sentient beasts to face me and humiliate me in battle! And these creatures these, humans. Would not come to me! Would not worship me, would not aid their God and throw themselves before my attackers to become my shield as they should have! This is returbution."
"Sarcificed themselves?" the man said stepping forward, "They should have sacrificed theselves for you!? A maniac they did not even know existed before the day you came and kill them. You are the arrogant one! These people worship but one God and that God is I, Pain."
"Pain?" Barragan said laughing, "Pain!? HAHAHAHAHA! What is to worship about Pain!? Pain is nothing! It is a mere fleeting sensation! No, I am the God here! I whose power is eternal, absolute! The power of time! For all things fall to the power of time except for me! My power is the only eternal thing!"
"Then come," Pain said stepping forward, "Let us find out who the true "God" is." The girl disappeared heading to a safe location.
Grinning, Barragan grabbed the man by the legs and throwing him to the ground He quickly got up into the air and began to launch Balas at him rapidly until the debris abscured his view and even then he continued to fire.

"I am a God!" the past and present Barragans replied. Once he stopped the Balas Meshiro/ Pain jumped up. The Shihouing member delivered a powerful blow to Barragan's chest and Pain kicked him diagonally to the ground crashing into the trees houses with a crash. Swinging out his Zanpakto Barrgan cried out, "Rot, Arrogante!" The burst of reiatsu completely obliterated the houses trees and sent foliage corpses flying about. In his Resureccion Barrgan flew up and began releasing his Respira and sent it flying at Meshiro Pain. Meshiro dodged it with swift ease, Pain let it hit him directly. Jumping up and dodging the Respira Meshiro began to activate his Sunko and beginning to deliver a punch. Pain levitated up, using his gravitational powers to keep the Respira off of him. He held his hand out. "Bansho Ten'in." Barragan suddenly felt himself pulled towards Pain who summoned one of his transceivers in a spike shape and impaled Barragan through the stomach. Nonchalantly, The Deva Path began tossing Barragan around like nothing until the former Espada was able to release himself from the grip and let out a cry in anger.
Meshiro's punch sent Barragan flying and the former Second division Captain began hitting Barragan numerous in rapid succession. Eventually, Barragan was able to deliver a blow sending out a cry in anger.
"How dare you! Defy my powers! Ignorant fools like you! Should learn their place! It does not even matter if you can avoid my Respira or not," Barragan said looking around the forest village until he spotted their charge partner "Because they cannot!" With that Barragan sent his Respira full throttle at Naruto Konan. Eyes widening Meshiro began doing several hand signs. Pain held out his hand.
"Konan!"
"Naruto! Six Paths Sage Jutsu:," Meshiro cried out.
"Shinra Tensei!"
"Shinra Tensei!"
Konan Naruto was flung backwards far away from the Respira. Pumping his arms Meshiro; Pushing out his arm Pain; used his Shunko; used his gravity powers; to push blow away the Respira and dissipate it. Forming sharp Kido threads a sword-like chakra transceiver Meshiro Pain jumped up and used the blade to make a large slice in Barrgan used the threads to create many different cuts in him and falling to the ground. As Barrgan looked up at Meshiro Pain he thought to himself, Exactly like Pain. And fell to the ground unconscious, about to dead.
As Barragan woke up he noticed he was on a bed. He looked to the side and noticed that the same cloak that those two wore was on a side table next to him. He then noticed that girl from before looking at him. "From now on you shall be a part of Akatsuki and do exactly as Pain orders you, is that clear?" Barragan nodded not really seeing much anything else before him. AS she turned towards the door to leave Konan said something rather strange. "You're not a God, you know," she told him.
"Oh?" he said, "And why is that? I have the power."
Konan nodded turning around, "That's true. But no one believes in you as a God. And that's all it takes to become one. If no one belives in or worships you. You're just an egocentric maniac. You're a lot like Pain in that way. Deluding yourself into thinking you're a God. For one simple reason: you're afraid if you don't then no one will care about you. You're afraid of not being necessary of being obsolete and you can't stand the thought. Just like Pain." With that Konan, Meshiro left leaving Barragan lying there and realizing something.
"I guess you're right, little girl. Just like Pain."
Barragan Louisenbarn died right then.
Author's Notes: I know it's long overdue and I'm sorry. I've been trying to write the next chapter for We are Gotei and been trying to figure out what to do with that. But, I'm going to get back to this and get on with it and hopefully get as much done on it as I can by the end of the year. Wish me luck. Hope this chapter wasn't too confusing for you. I just needed to get something out for you guys. Hope you like it. I know it's short. Next chapter is Kyoraku vs Kakuzu and that should be longer and contain a few sweet plot twists for you guys. Spoilers it's *****************ha and an *****************. Can you fill in the blanks? Whatever. I'll try to get it to you guys ASAP but I got a life too, you know. Callian31 signing out, peace!
