Bill's heart would be beating a million times a minute of it could right now. He was previously so overjoyed with seeing Julia awake and appearing fine, but now, he just cannot read Marie's expression. Is she going to leave him? Is she going to stay but not want to be together? Will she say yes? He just could not tell and that was filling him with pure dread. Bill looked intently into Marie's face while fidgeting with his hands to keep himself somewhat composed. He waited for what seemed like an eternity for Marie to start talking.
"So much has happened since you invited me out here. I do not know where to begin…" Marie starts.
Bill tries to say something, but Marie puts her hand gently up over his lips and lightly shushes him and he stops.
"I need to say this. Now, where was I? I come to Transylvania, the one place I have wanted to go for ages. I get to stay in a beautiful castle hotel that is more awesome than anything I could have ever imagined." Marie continued.
She then looked down and lowered her voice. "I have found out Vampires, and all other forms of monsters really do exist. They exist and… and they are friendly!"
Marie looks back up to Bill. "Your family are now Vampires, and you will actually be part of THE Dracula family. What I have seen while I am here are Vampires who clearly care for one another and for humans alike. I have talked with Mavis about her… incident… and based on all the facts that I have heard she was in no different a state as any human under the influence…"
Marie then paused for a long time looking back down at the ground. She then looked at the door to the infirmary and looked back to Bill. "She attacked you, and there is nothing that can change that, but you are here, with me, showing me all of these things, things that I thought were only in fairy tales. But you know what? I am glad I am here. I am glad you are with me. I have put thought and work into this and done some research." Marie continues.
Bill has a dumbfounded look and opens his mouth to say something, but closes it when Marie continues.
"I looked into how we could be together. We both had plans and desires, and I did not want those to change. We had previously talked about you going to night classes back home so you would not be exposed to the sun, but I have talked at length with Dracula about colleges and opportunities in his world. We would not have to go to school back home. We could go to school here…" and Marie then lowers her voice to a near whisper. "Together." She says.
"Does that mean…?" Bill asked hesitantly.
Marie grabs his hands and holds them up between them.
"Yes Bill, I want to marry you. I want to be with you forever, and to that point, I would like to be a Vampire with you as well. We previously talked about changing me into a Vampire on a hypothetical basis. I do not want to change this instant, perhaps before or perhaps after the wedding we cou…" Marie is interrupted.
Bill wraps his arms around Marie and lifts her off the ground, twirling her around in excitement.
"Oh Marie, I love you so much. I was so afraid you were going to say no after what happened." Bill said.
Bill lowered her to the ground; she swayed a little from dizziness but recovered quickly. Bill then got back down on one knee, and held the ring box back out.
"I could not make myself not have this on me at all times hoping for this moment."
Bill then takes the ring out of the box and places it on Marie's finger. Bill stands back up and the two kiss.
"Come, let's tell everyone to good news." Marie said, still holding Bill's hand.
The two re-enter the room and see everyone was still energetically talking to one another, happy that Julia was OK. Now they had even more reason to be happy. Bill clears his throat, holding a fist to his mouth while he did so.
"Everyone, we have an announcement to make." Bill said.
Everyone looked towards them and saw they were holding hands.
"Holy rabies, you said yes!?" Mavis said looking to Marie and seeing a ring on her finger.
"Yes!" Marie said jumping up and down on the spot with giddy excitement.
"Congratulations!" Drac said.
"Oh this is wonderful news!" Ann said hugging her husband.
"Way to go dude, I knew you had it in ya." Johnny said
Wanda came up to Marie and gave the girl a hug.
"Welcome to the family." Wanda said.
"Does this mean I get to a flower girl again!?" Julia asked excited.
Everyone laughs at this and Marie answers.
"Yes honey, you are."
Julia's face fills with happiness and pride for being a flower girl again.
"We had previously talked about it and we have decided to finish college before we have the ceremony and Marie will stay a human until closer to the wedding date." Bill said.
"I talked with Dracula and there are some great colleges for monsters around here, and he was going to pull some strings to get me enrolled in the same one as Bill." Marie says while fondly looking a Dracula.
"It will be a pleasure dear." Dracula said.
"We have to celebrate!" Johnny yells out.
"Let's do it!" Mavis replies.
Everyone in excitement then makes their way out of the infirmary to have the times of their lives.

OK, I hope I am cleaning up more of the loose ends in the story. Yay! They are getting married, but again I am sure you all saw that coming. A few more chapters to go!
