Dragon Ball X Chapter 26- Deadly Reunion

"K-Koozan?" Pan asked, nervously. "What are you talking about? What's wrong with you?"
"Get away from him!" Enerjor Goku yelled.
"Huh?"
"That is not Koozan! Seriously, get away from him, Pan!"
"Ah," 'Koozan' said. "Goku. My former host. You were too weak, and because of you, I nearly lost. For that, you get to die first!"
He rushed at the parallel Goku, only to be stopped as Zero grabbed his arm. "I won't let you. I have no idea what you are, but I know for sure that you aren't my best friend. If I were to guess, you are some kind of life-form that takes over the strongest person you see to achieve your goals. Is that right?"
"Oh, how could I ever forget you? The same brat that sent me to otherworld. I've changed my mind. The first one to die shall be you!"
'Koozan' backhand slapped Zero into a wall. The boy growled. "I won't go down that easily. I won't give up until my friends are finally free from whatever you are! I will destroy you!" He flew towards his possessed friend, and head-butted him in the chest... The only one who appeared to be damaged from the attack was Zero himself. The child bit down on his lip to keep himself from making sounds that showed his pain.
"Great..." Appura muttered. "Just what he needs. More brain-damage."
The creature looked at it's opponent with no emotion. "If you wish to go down in battle, then I will grant that wish."
A sphere of ki struck him in the back of the head before he could attack the child. 'Koozan' turned around and saw that it was Pan who shot him. "I don't know what you are, but you're the root of all my other Grandpa's problems, and now you're causing the same issues for my boyfriend! I will eliminate you! GIVE KOOZAN BACK!"
"Don't forget about us!" Drew said. "I want a piece of this action, and I'm sure the others want some too!"
"Yeah!" Appura yelled.
"More fools seeking death? Fine. Give this planet a flashy end, weaklings!"
The next generation Z warriors began to fight with the creature. Goku turned to his Enerjor counterpart and Tearic. "Other me. This isn't the first time you've faced... Whatever that is. Who... Or what... Is it?"
The one who once called himself the god of chaos frowned. "Zero was right in his guess. Its a creature that wishes to be the strongest. To achieve it's goal, it finds the strongest fighters in the universe and takes over them. And that creature was sent to the Dead Zone, where it took over me. When it first tries to take over, theres a chance that the host can force it out, provided that he or she is strong enough to force it out. If they don't force it out before the process of it merging with the body is complete, they are trapped within their own mind until the creature either moves on to a new host, or an outside force separates them."
"Complete?" Tearic asked. "Is Koozan-?"
"Merged completely with the creature? Not yet. But if he doesn't force it out soon, the process will be done. We must hurry. Weakening the host's body will weaken the creature, making it easier to force it out!"
Tearic and Goku nodded. "Got it," Tearic said.
The creature lazily dodged a kick from Drew. "How pathetic." It raised an elbow to block a punch from Appura. "Even when you attack all at once, you can't even scratch me. And this is before any of us transform. You have no hope left. So why do you continue to fight?"
"We fight because we care about our comrades!" Tearic said. "Now release him, parasite!" The saiyan ran up to the possessed boy. As he ran, he transformed into his Enerjor super saiyan 2 form, and uppercutted the boy in the jaw.
He flew straight through the ceiling, and ended up in the sky. 'Koozan' growled. "Useless maggots. If you've been through what I've been through, you'd know death is only the beginning." A ball of black energy formed in his right palm, and he prepared to fire it at the lookout. "Goodnight..."
"I wouldn't do that, if I were you."
"Wha-" The life-form was axe-kicked down into the floor of the floating structure.
The newest Z-warriors, along with the two Gokus, arrived outside just in time to see 'Koozan' crash in front of them. Zero was the first to speak. "Who did that?"
"Who else, hell-spawn?" The group looked up to the sky, only to see...
"Vegeta!" Goku called out.
"Did you forget about us, Dad?" another voice said.
The group looked toward another direction. "Dad, Uncle Goten, Trunks, they're all here to help!" Pan shouted. Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. All of the Z-warriors with saiyan blood had arrived.
"More death seekers?! Are all of Earth's warriors suicidal idiots?!" 'Koozan' snapped.
Vegeta landed on the floor and kneed the boy in the ribs, breaking several of them. The being doubled over in pain. "No. We aren't suicidal. We're just the strongest fighters this universe has to offer trying to protect a small planet that every evil being seems to flock to."
"Vegeta..." The creature hissed. "Do you really have any right to say that? You are one of those beings yourself, aren't you?"
The saiyan prince frowned. "Not anymore. I am not the same person I was when I first came to Earth." He raised an eyebrow. "And how is it you know about what I once was? Did you look into this boy's memories?"
"Perhaps I did look into this boy's memories... But I skipped over the parts about you. After all, when I was still part of 'Kakarot', I was the one who killed you."
Vegeta turned toward his rival. "Kakarot. Do you have any idea what this thing is talking abou..." Vegeta trailed off when he saw something that made his eyes bug out. "What... In the actual hell... is that?!"
"Vegeta, good buddy, is something wrong?" Goku asked.
"WHY ARE THERE TWO KAKAROTS?! This is like a scene straight out of a nightmare!"
"Huh?"
"Judging by how angry he sounds, I'd say that the Vegeta of this universe isn't very fond of you," Enerjor Goku guessed.
"What? Nah! Vegeta and I are old pals! Our friendship goes way back! Isn't that right, Vegeta? Aren't we friends?"
"Don't evade my question, you jackass!" Vegeta screamed back.
"The best of them!"
Enerjor Goku face palmed. "Other me is an idiot..."
"Anyway Vegeta, we'll discuss why there are two of me later. Right now, we have to focus on the threat at hand."
Vegeta grunted. "Fine. But I demand a full explanation when this is-!"
The creature used both of it's host's feet to attack Vegeta from behind, knocking him over. "One of the best ways to attack your enemy is to attack him while he's distracted. Also how dare you ignore me?! I'll slaughter all of you without mercy!" He transformed into a super saiyan god level 3. "Die, you fools!"
He disappeared, and reappeared in front of Zero, and sent a hook to his head, knocking him into Drew, and both were caught by Appura. "So by the way... This guy is here because he was Zero's enemy, right?" she asked.
"I guess you could say that..." Page responded.
"Oh great. Remind to kick Zero's ass after we're done with this." She and the rest of the rest of the saiyan warriors transformed into their strongest forms.
The creature looked at Zero. "The order of which I kill you all hasn't changed. You'll still be the first to die." He powered into Koozan's newest form.
"This guy seems like trouble," Zero heard One say. "He ain't just a dark Enerjor half like we previously assumed. He's something entirely different..."
'I already have enough things to worry about,' Zero told him. 'The last thing I need is you distracting me while I fight.'
"Oh, I know! Why don't you let me take over!"
'No way. Not happening.'
"Oh come on! With me in control, this battle is as good as ours. You could say that we will have already... One!"
"Did... Did you just make a freaking-" Zero was cut off as an energy beam pierced his right leg. Zero's eyes widened and he hissed in pain. "Son of a-!"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did that hurt a little? My mistake. It was supposed to hurt a lot. Let me fix that." The creature shot several more energy beams a the boy. They pierced his arms, legs, and torso. The child fell to the ground, screaming in pain. 'Koozan' chuckled. "It's time to end this." A larger ball of energy began to form at his fingertip. "See you in hell..."
The creature was spin-kicked in the head before he could fire it by Son Goten. "Stay away from my son!"
The creature slowly turned to look at him. "Words can not describe how much I hate this family. I suppose I'll just make everyone else immobile so I can kill you in order without problem."
Goten frowned. "I may not be the strongest warrior here, but I won't just stand by and let my son be killed."
Trunks turned toward his daughter. "Panty, can you please bandage Zero's wounds up so he doesn't bleed out?"
Appura burst out laughing. "Panty?! Your name is actually Panty?! HAHAHAHA!"
Page frowned. "Dad, I've told you a million times. Don't call me Panty. I'd much rather be called by the middle name Mom gave me."
"Fine... Page. Please just take care of Zero's wounds."
The lavender-haired girl smirked. "You can count on me." She quickly picked up Zero bridal-style, and carried him back down into the lower level of the lookout to find something to stop the bleeding.
'Koozan' looked around. "Fine then. For now, its just you... And you... And you and you and you and you and you... And me."
"Do we have any strategy to fighting this guy?" Gohan asked.
"Hmm..." Goku wondered. "I got it! Lets punch him really hard! If theres enough force behind it, maybe he'll throw up Koozan like how Cell vomited out Android #18!"
Vegeta groaned. "Typical Kakarot."
"Go!" All of the warriors rushed at him at once. As soon as they were within punching range, 'Koozan' raised one leg, and spun on his other foot, kicking every one of the warriors in the fight, knocking each of them back.
Goku used instant-transmission to appear behind him. He threw his fist at him at his opponent, who quickly caught it and threw him into Goten and Trunks, who were also rushing towards the possessed teen.
"How much strength does he have!?" Drew said angrily.
"Don't give up!" Enerjor Goku told him. "We can still do this!"
"Hmph," Appura grunted. "Whatever. Lets just hurry up and beat the bastard up. Drew, Goku #2, Gohan! Help with this, will ya? We need to get him while he's distracted with beating up the dumb ass duo! Hit him with your best shots!"
Gohan frowned. "Fine," he said as he removed his glasses.
The creature held Goten and Trunks up by their necks. It was specifically looking at Goten. "Son Goten... The man who created Son Zero. After I'm done with your son, you will receive the same punishment."
The raven-haired man smirked. "Do you really think you've won?"
"Don't get cocky, Goten!" Trunks warned his friend. "He still has the upper-hand!"
"You should listen to your friend. You're already gonna die. Why not just stay silent and get it over with?"
"Nishishi..." Goten laughed. "We're Z warriors! We never give up!"
"...I just do not understand heroes... I'll enjoy torturing you to death."
At that moment, Goku appeared in front of him. All of the other Z fighters quickly closed their eyes before he brought both hands to head and called out, "Solar flare!"
'Koozan' was blinded by a bright light. "Damn it!" He said as he dropped the two warriors he was holding to bring his hands to his eyes. While he was distracted by this, the Earth-raised saiyan grabbed Goten and Trunks, and instant-transmissioned them out of the way. "You fools! Just because I can't see right now doesn't mean I can't sense you! Sight is unnecessary to slaughter you!"
"Oh really, now?" Enerjor Goku said. "Well lets test that theory!"
All at once, Earth's defenders shouted out the names of their strongest beam attacks and launched them at him. However, when the attacks were finished, it was revealed that, despite being slightly injured, the creature was still standing. He even had his sight back. "No way..." Drew said.
"Pathetic. Even with your combined strength, you still don't possess enough power to defeat me. You are all weak. But I'm a nice person, so I'll just put you out of your misery." He took one step forward, and was immediately hit with another attack.
"KAMEHAMEHA!" The blue beam hit him in the back. 'Koozan' turned around and saw that it was none other than Pan who had shot him. "Koozan, I know you're in there, somewhere! If you can hear me, you need to fight him! Take back what is rightfully yours!"
"Koozan is not here anymore, girl. All thats left is me. Hope you said goodbye to your little boyfriend, 'cause you're never going to see him again~" He pointed his finger at her. However, before he could do anything... "Wha... What is this...?" His eyes widened and his hand lowered. "How can you do this, boy!? I haven't been damaged that much!"
He ducked down. He grabbed his hair and his eyes twitched. Pan smirked. "What was that about Koozan being gone?"
"Grr... Hmph. This means nothing. All is going according to plan..." Dark energy began to lift into the air and once again, form a sphere. When all of the energy was gone, Koozan began to fall. Before he could land, Pan caught him.
"Second time today I nearly lost you. I'm not letting you go again." She hugged him tightly. And he hugged back.
"Perhaps you've gotten little Koozan back, but this battle is far from over." Everyone looked upwards, and saw that the sphere had begun to take a more humanoid form. It floated to the ground, and began to turn to several other colors, until it looked way more... Human... Or more specifically saiyan. He had black spiky hair, a gi, gloves, boots, and a tail. "I was hoping I wouldn't have to return to this form this soon, but oh well."
"A... A saiyan?"
"Hmph. Yes. That is what I am. I am a saiyan who goes by the name of Kaze."
"Kaze?! You're Kaze?!"
"Do... Do you know him, Koozan?" Pan asked.
"He's a person my parents always told me about. He went insane and disappeared from Planet Vegeta. He is... My ancestor."
Before anyone was able to gasp, a laugh was heard. "A saiyan villain who doubles as a family member? Nishishi. As if we're not already up to our nips with those."
"Z-Zero?" Drew asked.
'Bastard,' Appura thought. 'Making snarky comments is my shtick...'
"Who else?" the child said, walking toward them with none of his previous wounds visible. "I didn't miss anything did I?"
Kaze frowned. "Where did your wounds go? I put more holes in you than swiss cheese."
"I got him a senzu bean," Page said, walking beside him. "Dende had some in case something like this happened."
"How's it going, Panty?" Appura snickered.
"Shut your freaking mouth, Appura!"
"Girls, girls!" Drew said. "Now ain't the time to fight amongst ourselves! Our enemy is right in front of us!"
Koozan turned to his ancestor. "How are you here? Why are you here?"
"Ah, yes. I suppose I could tell you that. It isn't as though it will matter in the end. It all began after the tuffles were exterminated. The saiyan who led his kind through the war, Vegeta, was made King and the entire planet was named after him."
Vegeta raised an eyebrow. What connection did this man have to his father?
"I was one of the few saiyans was not happy about this. I knew that he could be a much better ruler. I challenged King Vegeta to a fight to see who was the rightful ruler. I won the fight, and was made king. However, the other saiyans hated my choices as ruler, and dethroned me. Vegeta was re-crowned and I was banished from the planet."
"Koozan's ancestor... A former saiyan king?"
"Years later, the Planet Trade Organization came to the saiyan planet and recruited the entire race. The saiyans served Frieza for many years. Meanwhile, I was training on a far off planet. I perfected a technique used by the world's inhabitants. That technique allows a person to transform into pure energy. Once in this form, I can possess anyone by combining my own energy with my host's. With this, I returned to the saiyan planet, and took over someone's body. That body being Frieza's. Frieza was always planning on destroying our home planet. I wanted to make the day of the apocalypse sooner."
Vegeta understood what he was saying. "So... You're-"
"Yes, prince. I am the one who truly destroyed the planet. However, Frieza was able to force me out of his body. Separating two forms of negative energy is much easier than separating a negative and positive force. They work almost like magnets. He tossed me out into space where I nearly died. However, before I could die, I was sucked into a blackhole."
Tearic's eyes widened.
"If I were to guess, it was the same one that sent Tearic to the Dead Zone, considering I ended up there, too. I don't know how many years I was there. But that doesn't matter. I took over Son Goku, a saiyan who had the powers of an Enerjor. I easily controlled him. After all, his mind was weak. I didn't want to reveal my true identity, so I came I said Goku became evil through the absorption of negative energy. Which, I guess, is partially true. Goku was wished back with the dragon balls, and I became overlord of the universe. Everything was going well for me. Until of course... He showed up."
He glared at Zero. Zero responded by sticking his tongue out at him.
"After I was killed, our souls were separated. While Goku's soul went to heaven, I went to hell. In hell, I met a certain man. One who held a grudge against the same person I was killed by. We decided to became allies and we made a deal. I would give my new friend a host to live within. And now, since I have been resurrected along with Goku, I can give him the living body he desires. Prepare yourself, Koozan. For you have been chosen to be his host. XICOR! IT IS TIME!"
"X-Xicor?!"
"I'VE DONE EVERYTHING NECESSARY FOR YOUR TAKEOVER! IT IS TIME!"
"WHAT?!" was all Koozan screamed before a demonic pentagram appeared below his feet. He screamed as his body was wrapped in darkness.
"Koozan!" Pan yelled. "Let him go, you bastard!"
"Foolish weakling. Once the process of mixing souls has begun, it can't be stopped."
"Mixing... Souls?"
The darkness around him, as well as the pentagram, disappeared. The young boy fell to the floor with a thud.
ELSEWHERE
Koozan's eyes shot open and he jumped up. He took a look around, and saw that the area around him had changed from the lookout to a wasteland. He blinked. "Where am I?"
"You're in your own mind, fool."
Koozan's eyes widened. "That voice... Impossible!" He turned around and saw the man who had killed both of his parents sitting on top of a pillar of rocks. "Xicor!"
The demigod smirked. "Its been far too long since we last met, Koozan. Unfortunately, I'm on a time limit, so I'll have to make this quick." As he said this, chains rose from the ground. As they floated in the air, they aimed at Koozan. "I can't exactly kill you, so I'll just keep your half of the soul from ever gaining control of this body again!" His appearance changed. His muscles bulked up. His pupils completely disappeared. His hair became stood straight up and became spikier. The spikes on both his head and chin became larger. Lines connected his eyes to his jaw. Finally, an electrical aura covered his body. He laughed like the psycho he was as the chains shot forward at Koozan.
LOOKOUT
Koozan got back up faster than he fell down. His eyes were closed. Kaze smirked. "Oh, done already? I thought it would've taken much longer for you to stop that boy. How do you like your new body, my friend?"
A bright, gold aura surrounded the boy's body. The saiyan tail that he cut off long ago grew back quickly, except it was much more spiky. His nails sharpened like claws and his teeth did as well. His hair remained the same as it was in his newest form. He opened his eyes, showing bloodlust. He glared at the former saiyan king and growled like a animal.
Kaze blinked. "What is this? You're not Xicor. You're also not my descendent either. What are you?" As soon as he finished this, the boy disappeared from sight, and reappeared in front of his opponent. Kaze screamed in pain.
The rest of the Z warriors watched in shock. The pain that was causing the other saiyan to scream was from Koozan ripping off his entire left arm. Koozan threw the limb down onto the floor and walked back over to his ancestor. He picked him up by his neck and threw him into the wall of the palace.
Pan couldn't believe what she was seeing. "Koozan... That can't be him... Even when he's angered, he never fights like this..."
Mr. Popo walked out of the palace and yawned. "Maggots, what the hell is going on here? I-" The genie stopped when he saw Koozan appear beside him. The boy looked at him, and that glare was enough to make Popo's pants fill with s**t. "Wha-what k-kind of demon is th-this?" He stuttered as he backed away.
"Oh my Dende..." Trunks said. "He's able to scare the s**t out of Popo... Literally!"
"We're all gonna die..." Goten said.
SUPREME KAI'S WORLD
Kibito Kai and Elder Kai watched Koozan fight with ferocity not ever seen before in the teen through a crystal ball. "Ancestor... What has happened to Koozan? Why is he fighting with such a high amount of blood lust?"
"Its like a berserk mode. He's fighting out of pure instinct..."
"Instinct?"
"Within his mind, his inner self is facing off against an enemy from his past. Because of this, he no longer has a mind to control his body. You're aware of a saiyan's natural instincts, correct?"
"You mean their urge to fight the strongest opponents and end their lives brutally?"
"Precisely. This new form brings out the natural urges of all saiyans. Without a mind to keep the instincts tamed, Koozan is fighting based purely upon those instincts. Due to his lack of training with it, this new form burns through energy even faster than Frieza's golden form, so he'll pass out soon from fatigue. By that time, Kaze will be too damaged to fight, and the rest of the Z warriors can finish him off. If worse comes to worse and Kaze still has the energy to fight effectively when his descendent goes out cold... Well, he'll deal with him. Kaze's already high up on his wanted list already."
Kibito Kai nodded. "Ancestor... How do you know so much about this form?"
"Years ago before I was sealed, the saiyan race had a special form. It was referred to as ultimate super saiyan... However, its more commonly known as the original super saiyan..."
"Original?"
"Originally, there was a small group of saiyans. One was pure hearted, and was discriminated by the others. He was the one who became the first super saiyan. The ability passed on to his descendants, but they only wished to use it for destruction. The first saiyan found a way to put up blocks for it. Only those he deems worthy are allowed to have this power. And it would appear this boy is the first in over a thousand years to be seen as worthy..."
KOOZAN'S MIND
Koozan jumped up to dodge one of the chains zooming at him. In the air, he quickly flew to the left to keep another from hitting him. However, he failed to notice a third chain coming from the right. "S**t!" he yelled as it wrapped around his arm and pulled him down to the ground. As he landed, three more appeared, and wrapped around his other limbs.
The saiyan/god hybrid chuckled. "I see you're pathetic as always, Koozan. It reminds me of when I killed you a year back."
"Bastard demigod... How the hell are you here?! I thought my friend chopped you into pieces and destroyed the remains!"
Xicor frowned. "Oh, yes. The bastard child who killed me. Once you are put of the picture, that nephew of mine will be the first to die."
"First? You aren't going to kill me?"
Xicor's frown changed to an amused expression. "Foolish weakling. If you were to die, I would die as well. Our souls are one now, and will stay that way until the day we both die. Your ancestor and I made an agreement when we both died for the first time. The hell of the Enerjor's world is not only where members of that world end up. It's also where the evil gods of the main 13 universes end up when they die. When Kaze died, his and Father's souls were separated, and he ended up in the underworld. The agreement was that he would give me a body to control if he were ever to be resurrected. And the body he chose... Was yours. And with this body, we'll conquer this universe!"
"No... I won't let you... I can't let you..."
"Oh? And what are you gonna do about it? Those chains will keep you from taking control of your body. Therefore, I will be the one to control you."
"I WON'T ALLOW THIS!" Koozan screamed as his appearance changed to his new form. The chains around him disintegrated and he got up. Xicor's eyes widened and he slowly began to back up. Koozan then slammed his palm into the ground, and golden chains rose from the dirt around him. They shot forward at his enemy, and wrapped around every part of his body from the neck down.
"How?! How can you do this?!"
"You might have been stronger than me before you died, but now... I have a power. And this power makes me stronger than you could ever hope to be. This body is mine. And no one can take it away!" Koozan breathed heavily before powering down. Both hybrid saiyans went unconscious at the same time from their body's fatigue.
EARTH
Koozan grabbed his ancestor and began to head butt him over and over again. When the mindless teen decided he was done, he glanced at the other Z fighters. He looked back at his opponent, and Pan could have sworn she saw him look slightly ashamed.
He dragged Kaze to the edge of the lookout and jumped off with him.
"Koozan!" Pan yelled.
He flew faster than anyone could keep up with to the other side of the world. He now hovered above a forest. He then piledrove Kaze into the ground and began to beat the crap out of him. Through the pain, Kaze then noticed that his hits were beginning to slow down. Koozan threw a final, weak punch, and passed out beside him. He reverted back to his base form.
Kaze growled and struggled to get up. He then laughed maniacally. "Sorry, Xicor. But I won't stand for this. He injured me. And for that, I'll injure him as well. It might be a little damaged, but you'll still have a body to control." He raised his hand and smirked.
"Class A criminal, Kaze," a new voice responded. "You are under arrest."
Kaze turned around and saw a group of soldiers. Each of them wore helmets that covered their faces, and body armor with a symbol that Kaze had never seen. They all had their palms facing him, ready to fire ki blasts at him. "No... Why now?! Why do you have to be here now?!"
Someone behind him hit one of his pressure points in response, knocking him out. "Class S criminal, Kaze the saiyan. For disrupting the balance of the multiverse, you are hereby placed under arrest." The man who knocked him out placed a metallic object on Kaze's wrist.
A portal opened beside them, and a man with spiked up brown hair stepped out. "Taguchūteki-sama!" one of the soldier's said. The rest saluted the man in response.
"Hmph. Good work, soldiers. Did you have any trouble taking him down?"
"No, sir!" The soldier speaking pointed at Koozan. "It would appear that this boy was fighting him before we arrived, and injured him severely."
The man named Taguchūteki nodded. "I see. Leave the boy here. He needs his rest. Bring the criminal back to the Alpha-verse. I'll return soon."
"Sir. If you don't mind me asking, what is so important that it requires you to stay here?"
"I feel as though it is time to meet up with someone I haven't seen for the past decade. I believe its finally time he learns exactly what he is."
LOOKOUT
"What just happened?" Drew asked. "Just as Koozan's power dropped to a level I can no longer sense, I felt several other high power levels near him, and just as quickly as they appeared, they went away!"
"And it would appear as though whoever those people were, they took Kaze along with them. Who could it be?" Appura asked.
"I can answer that question," a new voice responded. The Z warriors turned around, and saw Taguchūteki stepping out of a portal. Everyone, aside from Goten, looked shocked. Especially Zero. He looked exactly like the boy, albeit taller.
He looked at Goten. "Its been a long time since we last saw each other, Son Goten."
Goten smiled. "Likewise, Old Man Tagu."
"I am not old."
"Uh... Goten?" Goku asked. "Who is this? And why does he look exactly like Zero?"
Goten sighed. "Zero, please go get your mother. She should be here for this."
Zero, not exactly sure what was happening, quickly instant-transmissioned away, and returned with his mother, Valese. "Z-Zero? Where-?" She stopped talking when she saw 'Old Man Tagu'. "You..."
Tagu smiled. "Hello Valese."
"Oh, great," Appura said. "This random dude knows people that we know. Hey! Why do you look so much like the idiot boy?"
Tagu's smile dropped into a thin line. "I suppose I should introduce myself for all of you who don't know. My name is Taguchūteki. I am also known as the Supreme Kai of the Multiverse."
"Supreme Kai of the Multiverse?" Vegeta asked. "Thats a thing?"
"Hold on a second..." Goku said. "Are you related to the Supreme Kai of Time?"
Tagu nodded. "She is my sister. The fruits we were born from grew upon the same branch."
"Oh god..." Trunks said. "They're really born from fruits..."
"That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life..." Appura muttered.
Tagu ignored the girl's comment and continued. "As my name implies, I am the guardian of the multiverse. I am the leader of a group known as the Multiverse Force. They are the ones who took away the villain you were fighting before."
"They took away Kaze? Why? What does he have to do with you?"
"The Multiverse Force's job is to prevent events that disrupt the balance of the multiverse. If perfect balance is not kept, it could potentially cause subspace to rip the unbalanced universes apart, with the exception of the Alpha-verse, which is where Multiverse Force HQ is. We cannot allow that to happen. Kaze has broken the laws of the multiverse. The Dead Zone acts as a gateway between dimensions. By taking over the Goku of another universe and returning to his dimension to conquer it, that universe has slowly begun to tear apart. For that, he has been labeled as a criminal of the multiverse and will be taken into custody. Problem with Kaze is that he is a master at evading us, so we could never catch him until now."
"Criminal of the multiverse?" Zero asked, crossing his arms. "Multiverse force? Yeah, excuse me while I call bull crap on all this. I've traveled across the multiverse before, and I've never had you guys try to stop me!" The Z warriors stared at Zero with wide eyes. "Something wrong? Did I say something bad? Oh... Oh. I probably shouldn't have said that. They might not have known that yet... Am I going to jail, Mr. Kai?"
Tagu smiled. "No. You are not. On the contrary, we have known about your multiverse journeys since you began them, and have allowed you to continue them. Although you may not realize it, every time you went to different universe, you were actually keeping the multiverse balanced."
"Oh thank god... I don't want to go to the slammer..."
"Yeah, this might explain the whole Kaze thing, but you've forgotten about something..." Trunks said.
"THE QUESTION I ASKED!" Appura yelled, pissed off.
"I was getting to that. Zero. How long did it take you to learn techniques such as kaio-ken and instant transmission?"
"Huh? Only a couple days... Why?"
"Techniques like those normally take extensive amounts of training. It should be months or even years. Not days. What about techniques such as your omega rift? Can anybody else use those?"
"Now that you mention it... No. Perhaps my abilities are a bit strange, but I don't see how that has anything to do with how you look like me."
"Zero, think about it. Kaio-ken is a Kai created technique, so another Kai would most likely be able to learn it easily. Kaioshins have the ability to teleport, so instant transmission wouldn't take much effort to learn either. My abilities as the Kaioshin of the multiverse include space/time manipulation, and the omega rift fits into that category."
Most of the Z warriors understood immediately. Even Goku understood what he was implying! Zero however... "I don't get it. How does that relate to with the topic at hand?"
"Oh for the love of..." Vegeta said. "He's implying that you're part kaioshin!"
"Oh! Ok. That makes sense... Wait, that makes no sense! I'm a human and saiyan hybrid! Not some fruit! Where would I even get shin-jin blood, anyways?! Neither of my parents have it!"
"Well..." Valese began. "That's... Not entirely true..."
"...Multiverse Kai, explain."
"Your mother is my descendent."
"...Ok. Before I call bull crap on this, I'll give you a chance to explain yourself."
"Long ago, I came to this universe and fell in love with a human. However, due to my job as defender of the multiverse, I had to leave. When I came back to see her, I discovered that she had passed away years ago. However, me and her had a child. That child's Kaioshin genes remained hidden, and were passed down to her descendent. The cycle kept repeating until the genes reached Valese, your mother. After having a child with a half saiyan, your father, the Kaioshin genes were passed on to you. Because you're a strong enough host, those genes were not hidden in you. You are my descendent, Zero. You're part Kai, but you're a lot more saiyan and human than you are god. That is why you look more like those two beings than my kind. However, that small sliver of Kai blood still runs through your veins. That's why you have abilities that can alter space and time, and are quick to learn techniques that involve instantaneous movement and techniques created by Kais."
For most of the Z warriors, they were shocked to hear this. But that's natural. It is normal to be shocked after hearing something like this. Zero, however, is anything but normal. "YOU TALK TOO MUCH! Tell this story again, but summarize it in one sentence with a maximum of twelve words!"
"He did the nasty with your ancestor to make you generations later," Appura told him
"Wait, what is the nasty?"
"They got down to business. Knocked boots. Shagged. Got it on. Did the deed. They-"
"Ok, ok! I get it!"
"As strangely as she put it, yes," Goten said. "Your mom is the descendant of a Supreme Kai, and by extension, you are, too."
"Alright. Lets say I believe you. But you're still leaving out a giant detail. If I really have shin-jin blood, then why is it that only I have abilities? People on Mom's side of the family side of the family should have the abilities too, right? Like her, Uncle Scope, and even Swift!"
"Thats where you're wrong. In order for you to be able to use the time-space abilities, you first must be able to utilize your own ki," Tagu said. "None of those family members know how to use ki."
"Huh. Ok, I guess. Makes sense, I suppose. I gotta say I'm kinda glad about that. I mean, who would want to live in a world where someone like Swift can manipulate time and space?"
"That would be hell on Earth..." Page commented.
"Kaioshin of the multiverse?" Pan spoke up. "I've got a question for you. If you were arrested Kaze, then you must know where Koozan is, right? If so, where is he?"
"The boy you love is resting on the other side of this planet. He has just won a battle that will continue soon. Right now, he most likely wishes to be left alone. If he doe not return by tonight, however, I recommend that you go look for him." The kaioshin turned back to Zero. "Any other questions?"
"What about my parents?" Zero asked. "Why do they know who you are? And why was I never told?"
"He came to us on the day you were born," Goten said.
"He explained who he was and that you were his descendant. He told us what you were destined to do..." Valese added.
"What? The whole 'destined to bring peace to Enerjor's universe by defeating him and restoring life' thing? Already did it."
"No, not that."
"Then what?"
Tagu told him. "You will be a Multiverse Enforcer. A prodigy one at that."
"A prodigy Multiverse Enforcer?"
"Thats right. And I thought it was about time for you to start your training."
"And what makes you think I'll just agree to this? What makes you think I'll just walk down this path you've chosen for me?"
"A path isn't something chosen for you. Its something thats created as you walk it. Only you can choose where it takes you. Although, knowing you, I believe I know what direction you'll go in."
"...I'll think about it. I'll need time to decide whether or not I want that kind of job."
"Acceptable answer."
"Tagu-sama?" Enerjor Goku said. "I have a question."
"Ask away. If its about you needing to get back to your own universe, me and the enforcers can take you back there."
"Actually... I was wondering if I could... Become a Multiverse Enforcer myself."
Everyone looked at him, slightly confused by what he said. "You want to become a Multiverse Enforcer? Why? Zero already returned life to that dimension. Do you not wish to return to your universe of origin?"
"It's not that I don't want to... But I don't think I can. I did horrible things in that universe. Friends, family, children. Everyone died by my hands. I am responsible for their deaths."
"But it wasn't you," Zero stated. "It was all Kaze's doing."
"But it was my body! Do you really think anyone will forgive me?! Nobody can trust me again! I could erase their memories with the dragon balls, but that won't erase the fact that I was a monster who committed unforgivable sins! I can't go back. This is the only choice for me."
Tagu narrowed his eyes. You do know the risks that come with this position, correct? You will have to face powerful enemies with the intention of killing you. The chance of death is very high. Would you want to accept these responsibilities?"
"If you knew the saiyan race, you'd know that we don't think of those as risks to keep us from fighting," Vegeta stated. "Everything you just said would be a selling point in our eyes."
Tagu sighed. "Very well. If that is your request, I shall grant it. A new Multiverse Enforcer has been gained today."
"Make that two," Tearic said. "I'll be joining as well."
"Tearic-sensei?" Zero asked.
"I've been dead for several years. I don't think I'd really fit into this timeline well. With this job, I could prevent anyone from making the same mistakes I did. Goku is also my responsibility. I, in a sense, caused the Enerjor to be created. I ruined his life. So I feel as though I should at least help him to make up for this."
"Hmm... I suppose. Every Enforcer has their own code name, such as Red Eye and Frozen Phantom. Most think of them as nicknames. What would you like to have as your code names?"
Enerjor Goku shrugged. "I'll think about it."
"As will I," Tearic followed.
"Very well. We must leave now." He opened a portal to another universe. "Zero... If you ever want to be part of the multiverse force, just come to my universe. If you need directions, Kibito Kai has them." He stepped through the portal.
Tearic and Enerjor Goku looked back at the Z-warriors. "Well, I guess this is goodbye..." Tearic said.
"Will we ever see you again?" Zero asked.
Tearic smiled. "Of course. After all, we will be working at the same place."
"See ya," Enerjor Goku finished. The two stepped through the portal, and it closed behind them.
"So we're back down to one Goku..." Drew said.
"Thank god," Vegeta said. "One is annoying enough. If there were two I'd probably go insane."
"So... I'm the descendant of a Kaioshin... Does that make me a royal demigod?"
"Well..." Goten began. "Yes to the demigod part, but I don't know about royalty..."
"Awesome! Hey, Mr. Vegeta! I'm a prince! Just like you!"
"A kaioshin isn't royalty, brat," Vegeat responded.
"Well, I wouldn't say he isn't a prince..." Goku said. "Chi-Chi is his grandmother. And shes the daughter of the Ox King. So I guess that makes him a prince?"
"Doesn't the King part of his name not really have to do with royalty, dad?" Goten asked.
"Awesome! So I'm a prince!"
"No, you're not!" Vegeta yelled. "Are you even listening to us?!"
"Of course, in fairy tails, the prince usually marries a princess." He looked at Page and smiled. "Isn't that right, saiyan princess Page?"
Page's face turned beet red. "M-m-marriage?" she stuttered.
"Your face is all red, Panty-chan~" Appura said.
"SHUT UP APPURA!"
LATER THAT NIGHT
Pan flew over the forest, searching for a certain raven-haired quarter-human. "Damn it..." she muttered. "Where is he? And why has he been out here for so long...?"
Then she spotted him. Sitting atop a stone.
"Koozan!" she called out to him. She began to fly over to him.
He turned to her, his eyes wide open. "No, Pan! Stay away!"
Pan landed on the ground. "Koozan? What's wrong?"
"Koozan is dead... What you are looking at is a demon. Kaze fused my soul with Xicor's... I'm a monster... So don't come near me... You might get hurt..."
Pan frowned. "Koozan..."
"Koozan is not-"
"SHUT UP!" She rushed over to him, and punched him in the face. She then picked picked him up by his gi. "Don't you dare say such thinks about yourself! You aren't evil! Not like those two!"
"B-but Xicor-"
"I don't care about Xicor! Who cares if your soul is impure now?! You're still you! Just look at Zero! He has a being created from his inner evil living in his mind, and he deals with it just fine! So what if the one you hate most is sharing a soul with you?! You're stronger than he'll ever be!"
Koozan stared at her. "I've never seen you this angry..."
"You're damn right I'm angry! Most girls would probably get angry when their boyfriend doesn't seem to know who he is! Well let me tell you something. You're not Xicor, you're not Kaze, and you're certainly not a demon! You're Koozan! A warrior who defends Earth, the guy who who defeated Enerjor, and the boy I fell in love with!"
Koozan was silent for a few moments before responding. "You're right. I can't just sulk around. I need to keep moving forward."
Pan smiled and let go of him. "Now that's the Koozan I know."
"Do me a favor though. Next time I'm feeling moody... Don't punch me in the face."
Pan smirked. "Can't guarantee that. C'mon. We're having a party at Capsule Corporation to celebrate your victory."
'I must admit... Her violent side is kind of hot...' "So, uh... What exactly happened to Kaze? I know that... Whatever I was at the time didn't kill him, seeing as how he fought, there would be a bloody, teared up corpse somewhere."
"Some group commanded by Zero's ancestor came by and arrested him for crimes against the multiverse."
"Oh, alright... Wait, what?"
LATER
"Mr. Popo, are you ok?" Dende asked the genie, who was staring off into the distance. He stayed silent. The namekian frowned. "I'm about to leave for that party. Do you want to come?"
Popo began to speak. "Kami 2.0... I am the hero this world needs, but not the one it deserves."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I was once an omnipotent demon god who was able to send any being to 'The F**k Box.' I was the cosmic force of creation that even the Kais feared. I had my own church that I converted all non-believers to. Even my 'Daddies' had no control over me."
"...Where are you going with this?"
"I thought I had no equals... Perhaps there are some in alternate dimensions, but I haven't checked all of them. And then... He showed up." Popo shuddered as he remembered Koozan's animalistic eyes. "He is a threat. To both the world, and me. I must stop him before he does any serious damage."
"...Don't you plan on laying waste to this world in a few hundred years?"
"And how do you expect me to do that... IF HE'S HERE?! I will not stand for this." The genie whistled, and his magic carpet spawned beneath his feet. "I'll be back." He then disappeared from Dende's sight.
"Wait, don't-! And he ditched me... Huh. Guess I'll just have to fly there." He walked over to the edge of the lookout. "Wait... Ah, crap. How do I fly again? Hmm... Well, I guess I'll just have to wing it." He stepped off the lookout and began to free fall... He then realized that this was a terrible idea. He finally managed to stop himself after falling for about thirty seconds. He breathed a sigh of relief.
"You're really out of practice, aren't you?" Dende looked behind him and saw that he stopped himself right in front of Korin's tower. Yajirobe smirked at him.
Earth's guardian frowned. "This coming from a person who doesn't even know how to fly."
"Oh, that is a zinger, moocher!"
MOMENTS EARLIER AT CC
Popo hopped off his magic carpet, through a window. He snapped his fingers, and it disappeared. "Its time to end this," the racist-looking majin told himself.
He began to walk, receiving strange looks from the party members. It wasn't long before he spotted Koozan.
"There you are!" He said as he rushed towards him. A dark aura surrounded him as he did.
"Hmm?" Koozan looked toward the demon-god, and Popo stopped. "Lord Popo? Why are you here?"
Popo, horrified, began to bow. He kept repeating the words "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" over and over again.
Koozan looked at him, confused. "What the hell is going on?"
MEANWHILE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GALAXY
"Oh, my dear brother, its been so long since we've last seen each other. Why are you here?" a tall, muscular man asked. He wore what seemed to be tribal clothing that left half of his chest exposed. His black hair reached his shoulders, and a furry tail attached to his backside was wrapped around his waste.
The other man in front of him frowned. His clothing seemed to look like gladiator armor. The armor left his chest exposed. His hair was much longer and spikier. He had a tail as well, but his swayed from side to side in the wind. "I have heard about what you and Shotosk are planning... What you are going to wish for. Do you really want to go through with this plan of yours, Ticropren? The path you are choosing is one that will only lead you to death."
"Oh? Do you intend to stop me? Don't fool yourself! You and I aren't even in the same league, much less the same level!"
"I have no reason to fight you. Your decisions are up to you, Ticropren. Even if those choices are evil. I thought that you were different from him. I thought you could be a good person. Like Goku. But as it turns out, you seek to walk down the path of a berserk demon. Just like our father."
"Our father? Are you really comparing me to him? Father was a weakling who couldn't even beat a low class warrior! I'm superior to him in every way! I'm-!"
"An arrogant fool who is so cocky that he doesn't know when to give up," a new voice said. A teen stepped into the room. He looked like a mirror image of Ticropren, except his outfit left his entire chest exposed. "Just like grandfather Broly."
"Shotosk?"
"You claim that you could beat Brol in a fight. You're foolishness knows no bounds father. If you could sense power levels like I can, you'd know that the odds are stacked against you in this fight. I estimate the your younger brother is at least eight times stronger than you."
"Eight times?! No way! I refuse to believe such lies!"
"Do you truly doubt me, Father?"
Ticropren shuddered as he remembered the last time he angered his son. Those scars did not heal. "O-of course, I don't doubt you! If you say it, it must be true!" Shotosk wasn't so violent with everyone. He just didn't like his old man so much.
"What Shotosk said is true. I'm not the same child I was before. I only came here to warn you. Both of your decisions will have consequences. Be prepared for whatever those consequences may be."
"Anything this divine force controlling karma throws at us, we can easily send it back. We will succeed."
"You're pride will be your downfall, Father."
"If we can stick to the plan, you'll finally take your rightful place on the throne. As the new saiyan king."
