"Who's the kid?" They asked, obviously referring to Felix. Felix hopped down and Masen explained thoroughly, and everyone here seemed as accepting as well. Eventually after everyone was introduced to Felix, everyone began to play a game of soccer. Felix didn't know how to play, so he rooted for Masen, making a wolf whistle when he removed his loose t-shirt. This embarrassed Masen, but made everyone smile for him. I also sat out, to give Felix some company.
"So, what's up?"
"Nothing much." He said, his eyes glazed over happily as he watched Masen play, then he sniffed the air. "Do I smell hot dogs?" I sniffed too and looked back to see Emily cooking tons and tons of burgers and hot dogs. It made me feel bad for her sometimes, having to cook so much... but when she cooked, every time was delicious. It wasn't long until she announced that dinner was done and we all just stopped and got food. Felix and Masen waited until last, Felix taking Masen's hand in his as they walked. The smiles back and forth were great and very nice to see. Out of no where though, everyone started bringing up old memories, most were memories of our mother, and to be honest, we wanted to hear all about it.
"So, Jake, remember when your father gave you those twenty bucks those many years ago?" Jake laughed.
"Yeah!"
"What's he talking about?" Renesmee asked and Jacob sighed.
"Well, back when we thought vampire were evil people, no matter if they were civil or not, my father gave me twenty buck to try and talk your mother into breaking up with your father... Bella just laughed and told me to to tell him to pay up and that she wasn't going to break up with him. It irritated dad some, cause the whole time he wanted me to be with your mother... but I'm glad I have you instead." Jacob said, hugging her close. I smiled, but sighed. I felt a little like the fifth wheel when it came to my siblings and their partners, perhaps I would admit my feelings to Hazel and I smiled, imagining what it would be like if she said yes.
When things started to simmer down for the day, Masen had gone home with Felix and the rest of us went home to hunt with the family, and that was a lot of fun in itself. Renesmee of course scared the shit out of our father when she let the bear attack the hell out of her, but she would just maniacal laugh and tackle it back. This was my crazy but awesome family, wouldn't trade it for anything.
Renesmee's POV
We were just coming back from the hunt when we all sat down together in the living room. Masen was happily staying over his boyfriend's house tonight while the rest of us were relaxing together. While we were sitting together, people were bringing up old memories, mostly from their old human lives. "So, dad?" Darien asked, looking at our father.
"Hmm?"
"What was your human life like? How old are you exactly? All mom had told us was that you were turned into a vampire at 17, but we don't know much more than that." I looked at my father too, as well as everyone else. I was actually curious as well.
"Well... I was born on June 20th, 1901 in Chicago." Our eyes widened, at least those of us who had not know. What was 125 years ago. So, our father was old. I giggled to myself, my brother Darien looking at me and chuckling quietly, knowing what I had thought. "My birth name was Edward Anthony Masen Jr. My father was Edward Senior and My mother's name was Elizabeth." Our father stopped, a light smile on his face. "My birth mother was an amazing woman and I had always been very close to her. My birth father and I, on the other hand, had not been so close. I don't remember him very well actually." He took in an unnecessary breath. "When I was reaching the end of high school, I was planning on enlisting to fight in World War I." Everyone's eyes widened at this. Really? Our father wanted to be in the army?
"I'm glad you didn't. We might not have you today." Darien said, our father smiling.
"Well, the Spanish Influenza was a big problem during this time period and a month before I was to enlist both my mother and I had fallen ill with the influenza." Jake's eyes widened. "My mother had passed away before me and so had my father, so I was alone and didn't have anyone. Carlisle was given a favor by my mother before she died, asking him to save me, and he did." Our father smiled as I looked at him bewildered.
"Do you have photos of your parents dad?" Our father nodded his head. He then ran upstairs and ran back down with a photo book. It was so old that you could tell it was from the very early 1900s. The book was full of photos and the pages were so old that they were tinted yellow. Everyone looked at the book curiously. I'm guessing none of them had even known he had the book.
"Edward, when did you get this book?" Carlisle asked.
"When I went to collect my mother's and father's jewelry, and other things that were to be passed down to me, I found this book in the closet. When our father first opened the book there was a photo of his parents. Our father's mother was so beautiful with a heart shaped face, thin body, and beautiful long dark ringlets of hair. Our father's father looked like our dad, but much more serious and a little scary. As he flipped through the book there were old vintage photos of our father as a baby and all through school. The last photo we saw was of our father for is senior photo for his high school. It was a great picture and the photo was in Sepia, so we knew that it was old.
"These photos are so amazing! You could probably be a historian if you wanted to dad." Our father chuckled and nodded.
"Yes, perhaps if I wasn't immortal." He laughed kissed the side of my head. Just then Alice stood up faster than a bullet and ran upstairs, coming back down with a show box. When she came back down she put the box in front of Darien and I.
"I just thought about these. I took so many videos and photos of your mother and father when we were in high school together. Would you want to see the videos and photos?" I smiled and so did Darien.
"Yes, we would love to look at them, but maybe in two days." Our aunt looked confused for a moment. "In two days, it will be one year since mom's death." Everyone sighed and our father's face filled with sadness. He looked at us.
"Did I tell you all, that one night, when I was home by myself... I prayed to your mother. I talked to her, I was hoping she would hear me." He said, his voice cracking a very small amount. Everyone looked at him, sadness on their faces.
"What all did you say? What all happened?" Esme asked, looking at our father worriedly.
"I said, 'Bella, I don't know if you can hear me... but if you can, maybe could you five me a sign that you're with me?' When I waited and I didn't feel anything... I began to tearlessly cry. I said, 'Please Bella, I miss you.; and I don't know what happened, but I closed my eyes and it was as if time stopped and I couldn't move. But I heard, "I'm here Edward. I'm Listening." Everyone's eyes widened in shock.
"Bella spoke to you?!" Jacob asked, his voice full of shock. Our father answered. "What happened after that?"
"Well, I started to speak again and I said, 'I miss you my love. I wish I could hold you in my arms once more and kiss you. I miss feeling your enveloping human warmth. I really regret it, leaving you like I did. If I hadn't, you'd still be there.' Our father stopped for a moment, the venom glossing his eyes over like he would cry. 'When watching our children leave for prom, it reminded me of how you and I were.' I stopped there and continued to apologize. And again after that the same feeling came over me, like I couldn't move and she spoke to me again."
"Are you serious?!" Emmett said, he said it in a way that we were all thinking. Our father nodded.
"She said, 'Edward, I will always be here with you. I've never once left you or our children. Please understand that I tried my hardest to stay. If I had a second chance, I would have done things differently. Please, continue to take care of them. I love you, Renesmee, Masen, Darien, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett, Carlisle, Esme, Charlie, Renee, and Jacob very much, never forget that. I'll never leave. I'll watch over you all forever, I promise.' After she said that, I felt what almost felt like her kiss me on the cheek and then I could open my eyes again. As I did, there was a light that seemed to glide out of my french doors and that was it." Our father said, a drop of venom slipping down his cheek.
The shock on everyone's faced was very prominent and we felt so sad to see out father tearing up, so Darien and I walked over to him and hugged him tightly. "I'm so glad that I have the three of you." We stayed like that and hugged each other for a while before we all calmed down and felt exhaustion coming over all of us, even the sleepless vampires. They decided that they were just going to snuggle in bed together while the Darien and I said goodnight and went to bed. Jake came with me to bed with my father's permission and laid down with me.
"You know, despite my not liking your father sometimes, I'm starting to understand him. He's gone through so much and he's a good vampire. I mean, I figured that out a while ago, but know I really know it." Jake smiled at me and moved so he was hovering over me. "I should be very respectful of him. He did make it so I could imprint of you after all." I smiled and leaned forwards, pressing my lips to his happily.
I kissed him happily, running my fingers into his hair and pulling him closely to me. Quietly I grabbed his hand and placed it upon my breast, showing him a massaging motion and I loved it. He was so talented. If he was just good at this, I couldn't wait for when it was finally going to be our first time. When I realized that if we went any further, we wouldn't be able to stop, I pulled back from him and smiled. "I love you."
"I love you to Ness. Sweet Dreams." His warm arms around me comforted me and brought me into a very deep sleep, and I fell asleep with a soft smile on my face.
Masen's POV
After separating from Darien and Ness, I pulled Felix into my arms and ran through the forest towards his home. On the run there, Felix held onto me tightly, his face in the nape of my neck. "Don't worry baby, I won't drop you." We were coming to a rock cliff and I looked at Felix who had fear in his eyes. "Hold on tight!"
"You're going to jump to the other side?!"
"Yes! Now hold on." He grabbed onto my shirt tightly and I leaped, whooping as we flew to the other side. It took about twenty minutes to get to his house from La Push and it was fun to hold him to me as I ran. For him to see how I really am. Once we got there, I put him down, stopping for a moment as we walked towards his front door hand in hand.
"That was incredible. How do you do that?" I shrugged.
"My kind has a lot of amazing abilities." Felix pulled the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, the two of us removing our shoes and jackets. This was my first time here and I smiled. It was a nice and simple house. Upon walking in, you could see a large photo collage frame, and right in the middle was a photo of his parents. I looked at the photo and smiled, looking over at Felix who patted me on the shoulder and led me to his bedroom. When we first walked in, we just started to play on his xbox and play call of duty. I lost three to five rounds. I wasn't a sore loser, but it was fun to actually lose on this game for once.
When we started to relax, we were just laying together on his bed. Felix took this time to dress down to just is boxers, and lay back down with me. What it too hot? I got up and did the same, laying next to him and smiling at him as I felt him caress my cheek. "Your body is absolutely beautiful Masen." Blushing and I nodded.
"T-thank you." He smiled and began to softly move his hand around and over my body, the heart starting to rush to my most private area. He always made me feel like this, so warm and special. "Your warm hand on my cool skin... it feels very nice." I said, smiling. Felix bit his lip lightly as he used a hand to push me back so I was on my back. With quick actions, he moved so he was straddling me and I could feel his manhood against mine. My blush darkened and I looked up at him, becoming a little nervous, but more excited than anything else. Leaning down, Felix's chest was against mine as he was still straddling me and as instinct, I wrapped my arms around him. As a surprise to me, Felix moved his lower half against mine, making my body quiver. Why was he so good at this?
"Masen, you're acting so innocent..." He teased. From that moment, he looped his fingers into my boxers and left me as naked as the day I was born and began to pleasure me like he had pleasured me the other night. He was so talented and soon after I had released, I repaid him. I was becoming more sexually daring, but when we got to the point of actual sex, I became very nervous. "There's nothing to be nervous about. But I will understand if you don't want to tonight. I promise, I won't be mad at you." I couldn't stop though, my body was on fire and I had to release this. With Felix over me, looking into my eyes, he kissed me before he used all of his force to make us one.
I will admit, it was painful at first, but after my body had adjusted, it became one of the most amazing sensations I had ever felt in my life. We had repeated this act and took turns many times that night before we became worn out and laid down together, placing soft kisses on the other's lips. "I love you Felix."
"And I love you Masen. "
FELIX'S POV
When Masen had fallen asleep, I couldn't help but look at his beautiful features. His face and chest were chiseled art and sculpted as perfectly as Michelangelo's David, but much more beautiful. His bronze hair came to his shoulders and his full light pinkish brown lips were what made him so beautifully perfect to me. "Masen, I know I say this to you a lot, but I love you. You're absolutely amazing and I'm not sure where I would be without you." Ending that speech, I placed a kiss upon his forehead and smiled, hugging his body to me as I slept.
