Destiny Of Merida Bogo Chapter 25

How quickly fortunes can change at the snap of a finger.

After Judy played the video on the phone revealing Mayor Lionheart being the one who's kidnapped all of the afflicted predators Merida immediately called up Clawhauser. The ZPD had to get here now before Mayor Lionheart has the chance to escape and take the missing predators with him.

Truth be told if Merida had been there when Clawhauser took the news of Merida and Judy located all fourteen of the missing mammals, with Mr. Manchas added into the mix now, there's a very high probability that she would've laughed. Clawhauser had barged in when Chief Bogo was using the Gazelle Ape on his mobile phone. You see Chief Bogo has been crushing on the pop star for a while since her first single. But he's been very careful to keep it under the rug.

That's out the window after this.

Barging into the office without announcing himself, startling Chief Bogo, Clawhauser said "Chief Bogo!"

Covering the phone with his hands to muffle it, Chief Bogo said "Not now!"

Recognizing the ape, Clawhauser gasped "Wait, is that Gazelle?"

"No," said Chief Bogo, pressing down harder on it.

Unfortunately that just seemed to make it talk more.

"I'm Gazelle, and you are one hot dancer!"

To say Chief is beyond embarrassed would be a severe understatement. None of his men have ever seen him so flustered like this.

Worse of all it had to be Clawhauser.

"You have the ape, too," said Clawhauser, squealing. "Oh, Chief!"

Chief Bogo did not appreciate this.

"Clawhauser, can't you see I'm working on the missing mammal cases," said Chief Bogo, gesturing at the map of Zootopia he has on his wall with pictures of each mammal missing labeled in their districts.

"Yes of course! About that, sir! Officer Bogo just called. She and Officer Hopps found all of them."

The expression that now formed on Chief Bogo's face is dumbfounded amazement.

"Wow, I'm impressed."

Chief Bogo got everyone both on and off duty on site in less than half an hour. Mayor Lionheart hadn't stood a chance against Chief Bogo's fury. Probably explains the reason as to why Mayor Lionheart didn't want any of this to leak to Chief Bogo or his unit in any way because of how he could never be bribed and manipulated. Chief Bogo would've blown the lid on it and arrested everyone involved almost instantly no matter how high up the ladder they are.

Mayor Lionheart and his accomplices were apprehended at the abandoned hospital in the middle of their evacuation plan.

Cops surrounded it both on land and air. None of them would be getting off scot-free from this endeavor.

As Chief Bogo was leading Mayor Lionheart away in cuffs Judy had the honor of reading the disgraced lion his legal rights.

"Mayor Lionheart, you have the right to remain silent. Anything-."

"You don't understand. I was trying to protect the city," exclaimed Mayor Lionheart, defending his actions.

Rolling her eyes, Merida scoffed "You were just trying to protect your job! I saw the video, Lionheart. If you really were acting out of Zootopia's best interest at heart you would've notified the ZPD and the public of what was going on instead of declaring the mammals that had disappeared missing!"

"She's right about that," said Judy.

"No. Listen we still don't know why this is happening. It could destroy Zootopia," said Mayor Lionheart.

"Which is precisely why you should've informed the public the moment the first victim reverted. That way necessary precautionary measures to prevent further outbreak could've been taken. Now there are more that could've been saved fallen to this state thanks to your negligence," scowled Merida, unforgiving and unsympathetic.

Continuing to relay Mayor Lionheart his rights where she left off, Judy said "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."

From behind them the doctor Mayor Lionheart had involved in this had her head lowered in shame as she was led to the patrol car that would take her away.

Nick's wearing sunglasses and drinking from a Starbucks coffee cup. He' s still wearing the sticker his friend Finnick had given him so he used it to play the part all the way the cars.

The missing mammals were all loaded up into ambulances for transport to an authentic hospital where they can be treated for their disease. Well at least the doctors and nurses will try.

Merida volunteered to accompany the patients to their quarantine area to make sure they'd be all right. As the ambulance she was in drove away Merida noticed her dad watching her go with an unreadable expression on his face.

Just what is he thinking?

Authors Note:

Do you guys think Merida and her father are ever going to reconcile in the conversation that's probably going to be brought up or not?

Also, when Judy decides to resign fully believing she is the cause of all the chaos and unrest going on in Zootopia because of her tactless words at the press conference, do you suspect Merida will, too?
