Kate's-POV

I wake the morning of my interview as my alarm goes off with Elliot's arms warped around me. "Morning baby all ready for your big day?"….. He gives me a kiss and climbs out of bed making his was to the bathroom for a shower as I get up and head off to the kitchen for some coffee. All ready to start my big day, I should join Elliot in the shower first though that would be a great way to start off my day.

I wait with my CPO Stacy at the elevator arrives at my floor and opens I make my way to my desk and Stacy heads off to get me some coffee, I guess having a body guard with me isn't all bad. There are some advantages to this life as I smile and take a seat at my desk.

I am going over the intro to my story and the order of questions when Beth comes by my desk. We were hired around the same time, she is talented but kind of a bitch towards me. She thinks I'm here only because of my father.

"Kate all set for your big interview."…. She laughs, "Does daddy do everything for you?"…. I hide my scowl and glance up at her, "Excuse me Beth."… She has that jealous look in her eyes again.

"Well I figured since daddy got you the job, I'm guessing he got you the interview with the Grey's."….. She doesn't know of my friendship with Ana or that I'm engaged to Elliot Grey and will become a Grey next weekend. "Actually Beth I got the interview through the Grey's themselves, Christian Grey to be exact."

There that should put the bitch in her place, she looks aggravated and I smile at her, "I see and how did you mange that, stalk him until he just gave in?"

"No I interviewed him in college for the student newspaper and I went to school with Ana, she was my roommate and best friend."… She looks like someone pissed in her coffee, "You went to school with Anastasia Grey, ok Kate whatever you say."

She walks away a little dejected and I smile wishing I had a camera to take a picture of her face to remember this moment; I could have used it as my screen saver.

I didn't like the fact that I told her about my friendship with Ana, but I am sick of Beth and her bullshit attitude with me. I didn't tell people about my friendship with the Grey's or the fact I will be joining their family, but if Beth keeps this shit up I might have Ana meet me for lunch one day. Clearing my thoughts I get back to work.

I have my questions and notes all ready my phone is charged for the interview as Elliot enters the house after work, I am sitting at the table drinking a diet coke. "Hey baby how was work?"… I look up from my notes and smile, "It's was good not much to report."

He laughs "That's good, I'm going to take a shower then we can head over to Christians and Ana's."…. I smile as he leans down and kisses me, "Man that's good stuff baby."… I giggle as he makes his way to the bathroom.

We are on our way to Christians and Ana's as Elliot drives I am looking over my questions one last time, "Relax baby."…. I look up from my notes, "I am relaxed, I was just going over the questions and making final notes."

He laughs, "It will be fine Kate it's not like you are asking Christian if he is gay right?"… He laughs again, "Well I should say that Ana isn't."… "Hey I was just curious as I didn't' see him photographed with any woman."

He shakes his head, "Hey I'm not saying we all weren't wondering but we weren't brave enough to ask."….. I shake my head, ""Remember I wasn't brave Ana was, I would have just skipped that question."

He laughs, "I cant believe Ana actually asked him though, I bet that was embarrassing for her."….. I giggle, "Yeah she mentioned something like that."… I look out the window as we are almost there.

"I still cant believe Christian suggested this, it's bad enough the woman are getting jealous this just adds fuel to their fire."…. He glares at me before looking back to the road.

"The girls you work with are jealous of you?"…. I shake my head, damn it I shouldn't have let that slip. "Yeah there is one who is beginning to get on my nerves, Beth is her name she thinks I am only there because of my father and I let it slip that I went to school with Ana and she gave me the what ever you say Kate response."

He laughs, "You went to school with Anastasia Grey, I can't believe it Kate."… He laughs again,... "See that's what I mean Elliot, I love Ana like she is my own flesh and blood, but some of these reporters are starting to go crazy over her."

"Really I had no idea that my new sister was such a celebrity, does she know it?"…. I shake my head, "No and I don't want her to know, she is so sweet and hasn't changed who she is just because she is extremely wealthy and that's what I love about her, she is still just Ana to me."

He nods, "She is an amazing girl, but she would have to be to get my brothers attention." … I smile at the thought, "Ana has always thought she was average, ordinary when she is anything but ordinary. The guys would always ask about her, if she was single or would be interested in going on a date. She would always say she was busy or had to work."

"Well that is a surprise; she never dated anyone in college?"… I shake my head, "No she hung out with Jose but she thinks of him as a brother, much to his disappointment."

He laughs, "I bet, that's the photographer you hang out with right?"… "Yeah he has always had a crush on Ana."…. "Well this should be a fun night then babe, I can't wait."

Ana's-POV

I am helping Gail set the table for dinner as Christian comes from his study after getting some work done before Kate and Elliot arrive. "Hey baby what ever that is smells great."…. "Well I helped Gail make lasagna that I use to make for Kate when we were in school, I'm sure Elliot will love it."

He nods, "Count on it and I know I will love it as well."… he takes me in his arms and kisses me, "Christian they will be here soon, you should get a bottle of wine."…he kisses me once more and makes his to the cellar as I grab the silverware."

I am sitting at the breakfast bar with Christian as Taylor enters the room, "Mr. Grey and Ms. Kavanagh have arrived Sir."….. "Thank you Taylor."…. He stands, "I need to speak to Elliot in my study before dinner, it won't be long."….. He says as Kate and Elliot enter the kitchen.

"Hello Ana," … Kate says as she comes to give me a hug. "Hey Kate"…. I return her hug, then Elliot comes up to sweep me into his arms hugging me tight, "Hey little lady, how are you doing?"… He sets me down, I should be use to it by now, "I'm great Elliot, you guys ready for the big day?"

He smiles down at me, "You know I am."… Christian comes over to us, "Elliot I need to talk to you in my study about your final arrangements for your wedding and the honeymoon."…. Elliot looks to Kate and winks, "Sure but let's hurry I'm starving, whatever your cooking smells great."

Kate and I take a seat as she places her briefcase on the counter "Would you like a glass of wine Ms. Kavanagh?"….. Gail ask as she is finishing up dinner. Kate smiles, "Yes thank you Gail."…. She turns to me, "So is Christian going to play along for the interview tonight?"

I smile, "Yes Kate I told you him about most of the questions, he seems to be alright with it."… I look at Kate who looks worried, "Your not nervous are you Kate?"…. I giggle, "Not nervous, just concerned I want to do a good job on this."

I take her hand, "You will be fine Kate, don't worry, I have to answer the questions."… "Thanks Ana, what's for dinner is that your lasagna I smell?"….. "Yes I know it was your favorite."…."Yes and I know Elliot will love it."... Christian and Elliot rejoin us as we make our way to the table to eat.

"Wow Ana that was amazing, best lasagna I have ever had."….. "Thanks Elliot, I'm glad you liked it."….. I turn to Christian, "I should get Teddy up before the interview to give Elliot something to do while he waits."… He nods as I stand and head off toward his room to find Teddy awake and ready for some attention, "Hey baby boy, you want to spend some time with uncle Elliot"... I check his diaper which needs to be changed so I scope him up and head to the changing table.

I return to the great room with Teddy handing him off to Elliot, "Here you go uncle Elliot."... He takes him in his arms, "Hey little man want to keep me company while mommy and daddy are busy with aunt Kate."... He smiles at Elliot, "I guess so, we will be in the entertainment room watching porn."...He laughs leaving the room. I turn to Christian, "He is kidding right?"... He laughs, "Yes baby he's kidding."

We are sitting in Christians study together on the couch as Kate sits in the arm chair across form us and the coffee table, Elliot has Teddy in the entertainment room watching the baseball game I checked to make sure. Kate sets out her notes and gets the voice recorder on her phone ready. "Alright, I'm all set shall we begin?"…. I smile taking a deep breathe and exhale, "Ok I'm ready."…. I cant believe I'm doing this.
