They entered a small room that held a miniature cafe. Haruhi looked around, having a good time just walking around the place with them. Hikaru and Kaoru both noticed she was having a good time and were happy that she was.

"Do you want to sit for a little while? We can have some coffee and a small snack if you would like," Kaoru offered.

"Yeah, sure," She shrugged.

"Hikaru, can you take her to a table? I need to go use the restroom."

Hikaru nodded and wrapped an arm around the girl. leading her over to a table along the wall. He pulled out her chair and allowed her to sit before pushing it back in.

"Thanks," she murmured, watching him sit down in his chair across from her.

He nodded in response and grabbed two of the small menus laying on the edge. He handed her one and glanced over his own. Haruhi's eyes widened significantly when she saw the prices.

"Hikaru, this stuff is way too expensive. I can't let you guys pay for this."

"Relax Haruhi, it's really not that big of a deal," he drawled out, looking down at the menu in a bored fashion.

"Even the water is expensive! I mean really? Twenty thousand yen for water?! Hikaru, seriously. I don't need anything."

"What can I get you today? My name is Mai, I'll be your server."

"We'll take three medium cappuccino, easy on the espresso, one of those needs to have a squirt of french vanilla, one raspberry scone, a blueberry scone, and one strawberry scone. That's all. Oh and one caramel macchiato."

She nodded and hurried off to fulfill their order. Haruhi gawked at Hikaru.

"I said I didn't want anything!" Haruhi argued.

"Well it's our date and we need to buy you something."

Haruhi scowled, "It doesn't need to be expensive!"

"Anything we buy you you're going to say is expensive. Just get over it, Haruhi. I already ordered it."

She huffed and Hikaru rose an eyebrow, looking across the table at her.

"You sound like a little kid."

"You're the one who acts like one."

"Shut up," Hikaru muttered and glanced off to the side. His eyes landed on Honey and Mori a few tables to their right. He frowned and turned back to Haruhi.

"I'm sorry, that was rude of me," he apologized.

"It's fine, Hikaru. Why the sudden mood change?"

"Oh, I just realized how lucky I am to have you in my life and how I would miss you if you left me."

Haruhi blinked slowly, "That's sweet, Hikaru…"

He smiled slightly. Kaoru came back and sat down next to Hikaru.

"Sorry, had to wait for someone else to finish up."

"Oh, okay. Well I need to use the bathroom, so please excuse me," Haruhi rose and went in the direction the sign was telling her too.

Once Hikaru was sure she was out of hearing distance he turned to Kaoru and nudged his head in Honey and Mori's direction.

"What the hell are they doing here?"

"And how am I supposed to know?" Kaoru responded, squinting his eyes at the two.

"I don't want them here!" Hikaru growled, looking back at them.

"What do you want me to do? Walk up to them and tell them to leave or I'll kick their asses? Ha, like I'm going to do that to the best martial artists in Japan."

Hikaru growled, "Kaoru."

"What Hikaru? Why are you so crabby? Are you not having fun? This place was your idea, you know."

"I'm not crabby," the elder twin snapped.

"Hikaru. Will you knock it off? You're being a douchebag."

Hikaru was practically fuming. He got up and shoved his chair in.

"Enjoy the fucking date without me. This was a waste of my time."

"Good to know Haruhi was just a waste of your time, Hikaru," Kaoru responded, watching his brother storm out. He sighed, typical Hikaru…

Haruhi came out to see Kaoru sitting there, sipping the caramel macchiato. She walked over and sat back down in her seat, "Where'd Hikaru go?"

"He left. He said he wasn't feeling well," Kaoru replied softly, looking across the table at her with warm eyes.

"Oh no, I hope he's alright…"

"He's fine, Haruhi. He said he was just beginning to get a headache."

"Oh okay… Are we going to continue on our date?"

"Of course we are," Kaoru smiled, "He'll be fine without me for a few hours."

Haruhi smiled, "Good, I've been having a great time."

She picked up one of the cappuccinos and sipped it, picking up the strawberry scone. Kaoru smiled and took the blueberry scone, taking a big bite out of it.
