Passenger 3-B
Author's Notes: Hi, I wanted to thank Kinthinia, who took time out of her extremely busy summer to beta this for me! However, I did add some paragraphs at the end, so any grammar issues are all mine and I apologize for that.
Chapter Twenty-Eight
After the delicious meal, they decided to walk down by the lake where there was a romantic gazebo with a white swing. Sam guided them onto it and both laughed when Sam snuggled up to Dean.
"Just because we're a couple, doesn't mean that we hafta act like one in a girly gazebo," Dean mocked, immediately prompting Sam to kiss him deeply, while his hands were roaming all over Dean's body.
All Sam had thought about for weeks was getting his hands on the guy he loved and wished it was possible to kiss him even more. He wanted to buy him presents, make love, and wake up next to him, but more importantly, Sam wanted to show Dean someone actually loved him…loved him more than anything or anyone in the whole world. It was now Sam's mission to win back the man he hoped to spend the rest of his life with.
Sam breathless from all the kissing, "I want to be with you… every minute of every day…"
They start making out again.
Completely out of breath, Dean relied, "I want that too, but what about, uh…"
Sam patiently waited as Dean searched for the right words.
"Never mind…I forgot what I was gonna say."
"Dean, you don't have to say anything, just let me say that I know we have a long road ahead." Sam stated, trying to be in control, although, he was nervous as hell. "I want you to know that I really thought Luke was still locked up in that mental facility that I had him sent to. He some how drugged his twin brother and switched places. Then he was hiding out in that bungalow that you ended up staying at and I…"
"Sam, you don't need to explain coz I really do understand all that." Dean sincerely said. "But, why didn't you just tell me about Luke before?"
"I was embarrassed," Sam truthfully admitted. "I was conned by him once and we had a relationship, so I didn't mention it for those reasons. I actually had thoughts about Luke when he was just my trainer while I was with Gabe…I didn't act on them, but I still feel guilty about that."
"Is there anything or anyone else that you haven't told me about?"
"Well, this place was one, but I kept it a secret on purpose because I was going to give it to you after the party, but then all hell broke lose."
"Yeah, I guess I kinda ruined things."
Sam faced his partner, "No, Dean, you didn't. I was to controlling and thought that I should plan everything in Hawaii and when we came back here. I just wanted you to be happy and have everything that you deserve."
"I was uh…am happy," Dean said, looking directly into his boyfriend's eyes. "I just hate it when people keep secrets from me and treat me like a fragile little bitch. I know that we were moving fast in Hawaii and I liked that. I liked feeling needed and keeping busy, so that's why I thought moving into your house was an awesome idea. But, when I heard from Anna how much I hurt Cas, and what your real last name was, that fucking blew me away."
"Dean, I am truly sorry for all that, but where do we go from here?"
"I dunno."
Sam sighed, desperately wanting his boyfriend to explain what he was feeling and what he wanted. "Do you want to still live together? Do you still want your position at the company? Do you want this place?"
"Yeah, I want all those things. Well, except for this place…I want it to be ours, not just mine. I think I'm happy, but don't know how to move on coz I'm kinda confused." Dean pondered all those questions…the same questions that have been going through his mind for weeks now.
"Confused about what?" Sam questioned.
"On how to move on," Dean replied quietly. "When I get out of the hospital, then what? I don't wanna be pampered like a fragile little girl, by having you wait on me hand and foot. I want to stay busy and see…my mom."
Sam saw the hurt in his beau's eyes. "I already have her seeing the best physicians in the world, so I think she would love to see you and it would help in her recovery. I have a full staff at your parents home to pamper them, even though she tried to refuse many times. At least John made sure she lost that argument."
"Really…you did all that for her?"
"Of course!" Sam enthusiastically said. "I would do anything to make you happy. I have all this money and not that many people to share it with, so that's why I donate to several charities, including one I started in Gabe's name. However, you are my present and future."
"Thanks." Dean wanted to say something that meant more, but didn't have time to think as the brunette took him into a passionate kiss. With all the tension from the therapy, the sexual excitement and that delicious meal, Dean was completely worn out.
After what seemed to be an hour of making out, Sam pulled away to get them some refreshments. Dean was yawning but the time he returned, "I just called your doctor and he said that you could spend the night if you wanted."
Dean was in somewhat shock as to why Sam called his doctor and in some ways was happy that he cared, but it seemed that Sam obviously compelled the physician into saying yes.
Sam handed him a glass of chocolate milk. "I'm not forcing you or anything, and you could have your own room, but I wouldn't mind snuggling with you."
"Chocolate milk…snuggling; what are we…a bunch of girls?" Dean joked.
"Haha…very funny, Sam stated, pulling the man he loves into a loving cuddle."So, do you want to stay the night?"
"Yeah, I would like that." Dean replied, as he started to fall asleep.
Dean woke up early the next morning to Sam having a nightmare as he was violently shaking. "Sam! Sam, wake up!"
Sam jerked awake, sweating and dazed as he tried to comprehend the situation.
Dean ran around to the other side of the bed and handed him a glass of water from the nightstand as he kneeled beside the bed, "You scared me…are you okay?"
"Y-yeah, I'm fine." Sam said nervously.
"Sam, this isn't the first time you scared me like that."
Sam swallowed hard, "I know…I'm sorry."
Dean slowly sat on the bed, "If you're sick or something, I can handle it and will help you get better."
The brunette nervously laughed, "I'm not sick…it's uh, something weird that happens when I uh…"
"When you what?"
Sam looked away, as his heart pounded, "When I lie and keep secrets." He then faced and saw how confused his boyfriend was and elaborated, "Ever since I was a child, I would get these weird convulsions if I was lying or keeping secrets. It's not a medical issue, but it is a pain-in-the-ass though."
"I don't understand," Dean stated. "Does that mean you're still keeping secrets from me?"
"Yeah…I uh, lied about what your doctor said," Sam replied, taking a hold of his lover's hand. "He wanted you back in your room, but I forced him since I am a major contributor for that hospital."
Dean chuckled, "Yeah, I kinda already figured that out."
"You're not mad?"
"No, unless your keeping another secret." Dean replied, watching his facial expression and knew there was more.
"It's not about you, and its kind of lame, but I purchased land in Hawaii and built a hatch."
Dean looked at him like he had two heads. "I don't have a freaking clue as what that means."
"It's a metal hatch buried in the ground," Sam announced to a still confused Dean. "It's just like the one from the tv show Lost."
"Oh..." Dean said, not knowing why in the hell this would make any person have convulsions in their sleep.
Sam still saw the confusion in Dean's eyes, "I never told my family since I just bought it when we were in Hawaii. I think I don't want to lie about it anymore, so that's why those convulsions happened. I spent over 20 million dollars and thought people would be shocked or think I lost my mind…no pun intended."
Dean laughed hard.
"What's so funny?" Sam questioned as he laughed too.
"Here I thought you were dying, but instead you're just a big geek."
"I am not!" Sam shouted, pushing Dean back down on the bed and straddling him. "Don't you have a favorite tv show or movie?"
"Yeah, but I would never spend that kinda dough on Dr. Sexy M.D."
"You watch Dr. Sexy!" The taller man exclaimed with a big smile.
"It's a guilty pleasure, so back off!" Dean stated, then pulled Sam onto his mouth.
Sam was enjoying kissing so much, but knew he had to back off since they were moving fast and Dean needed to get back to the hospital.
Sam rolled over and took his boyfriend in his arms, "I had fun and can't wait for us to spend more time together. I want you to know from this moment on, I will follow all your doctors' orders."
"That's good to know," Dean sarcastically replied. "And thanks for admitting the truth."
"Sometimes it's hard for me to hear the word no and that's something for me to learn to deal with," Sam admitted. "You changed me in ways that I never expected…thanks."
Dean sat there in his arms, feeling safe. But why does Sam think he needs to take care of me? Am I a weak bitch or just his do-good-project-of-the-week? I just hafta get well…prove to him and everyone that I'm not sick.
Sam interrupted his thought, "Hey Dean, you want to take a shower and then we'll eat breakfast outside? However, I don't know if I can eat with you wearing a bathrobe or not."
Dean lightly chuckled, "Then I won't wear one."
"Really!" Sam excitingly stated, sitting up in bed with a big smile. "You're going to eat breakfast in the nude."
Dean loudly laughed, "Dude, I'm not going to walk around your property in the buff…I'm gonna wear jeans and a shirt that I saw in the closet, not a bathrobe."
"Oh, that's too bad," The taller man frowned. "And it's our property.
"Sammy, don't look sad."
"I'm not because every minute with you is paradise and that makes me happy." Sam kissed him on the lips and then called in their breakfast order.
In the shower, Dean began pleasuring himself as sensual images of Sam ran through his mind. He really wanted to make love, but knew Sam wouldn't go for it as they were now going to follow all the doctor's orders.
Sam knew Dean was probably jerking himself off and he desperately wanted to join him. I just want things they way they were before.
The phone rang, interrupting Sam from his thoughts. It was Dean's doctor and he wanted the patient back by noon, because John and Dean were going to have another therapy session together.
Sam was happy that John was now the parent Dean had always wanted, but what about Mary? Will she come around and accept Dean or will she turn her back on him again?
