I do not own HP, SINF, Stonehenge. There is also a vague reference to the Wizard of Oz, so I don't own that either.

Chapter 28

Lord Voldemort hovered in the shadows of a forest tree line surrounding Stonehenge. The circle of stones was a national monument, but he'd never been interested enough to actually come visit. Now he'd come for a fight and was only hoping that he wouldn't destroy the monument today. He'd need it to raise morale amongst the Death Eaters after he defeated Dee. And he still needed to reward that Lestrange woman for tipping him off. If Dee showed up.

He flipped the switch that Slytherin had told him about and his senses got stronger. He focused in on vision and soon, only his eyesight was super powered. He watched individual drops of water drop off leaves across the clearing. But he couldn't see Dee anywhere.

A tourist came into the clearing and Voldemort focused on his watch. It was three after noon. Perhaps Dee wasn't coming. No. The last time he'd fought Dee the man had ambushed him. While Voldemort was determined not to let that happen again; if that was Dee's plan, Dee would need to be concealed.

The tree line that Voldemort was hovering behind formed a semicircular edge to the clearing which allowed him to gently circle the stones as he scanned for Dee. He went all the way from one edge to the other and back but didn't see anything. The tourists left, only to be replaced by another couple. Apparently, there was going to be bystanders. Well, if the muggles want to die, so be it. Voldemort looked at another watch and saw that it had reached fifteen after noon.

If Dee was going to show up at noon, he'd be here by now. It was time Voldemort triggered the trap. His aura flashed around him as he summoned the power of wind. Breezes whipped around him in a cyclone and lifted him up from the ground, over the stones and into the woods on the other side of the clearing.

A red spell jetted past him as he flew, just missing his feet. It had come from about ten yards left of where he'd been standing, a few feet further back in the woods.

A smile creased Voldemort's lips as he refocused the cyclone. A small tornado appeared in the middle of the stones, gently weaving through them as it grew stronger and moved toward the trees. By the time it reached the forest, it was pulling the trees toward it and had gathered all the loose trash in the area. Most of the tourists took off running, but a couple of guys didn't quite make it. The tornado picked them up off the ground and threw them around and off behind Voldemort.

The tornado plowed into the trees. Voldemort could see it pulling leaves from both sides of the clearing and knew that Dee couldn't escape. Trees in the middle of the grouping broke free of the ground and became giant, lethal clubs swinging through the forest.

There was a flash of yellow on the right of the grouping of trees and the disgusting smell of sulfur joined the rotten flesh smell of his own aura. Three large trees fell away from the tornado. Thick vines sprung from the ground and tied themselves around the trees, keeping them from the twisting winds. The smile fell from Voldemort's face as the trees blocked the debris and swinging trees from hitting Dee. The tornado passed by without effecting the man.

Fire burst from behind the makeshift shield and burnt toward Voldemort. Lions, Tigers, Bears, Falcons and other shapes burst from the front of the blaze as it approached. Dee had learned Fiendfire.

A new cyclone formed. This one was much less dangerous to the trees, but just as dangerous to Voldemort. Voldemort stood in the eye of the storm as it circled around him, sucking all the oxygen from around him into the eye. Feindfire was a powerful, magical weapon but it was still fire. It needed oxygen to survive.

The blaze hit Voldemort's new cyclone and died on impact. It took all his concentration to keep the cyclone going as the dangerous front of the fire passed by. Once that was done, Voldemort screamed and sent the oxygenless air out from him in a tsunami of air. The leftover fire died throughout the now completely clear hill and the wall of fire died behind him in a giant bird shape as Dee ducked for cover from Voldemort's latest attack. But with his tree-fence destroyed by the fire, all he could do was conjure a large silver shield and hide. The shield reverberated with the force of the wind. Dee emerged from behind the shield hyperventilating from lack of oxygen, but very much alive.

He pointed his wand in the air and a flock of at least a hundred little, yellow birds appeared around him. With Voldemort's enhanced vision, he could see that the birds had impressively sharp beaks. The man had learned how to wield the wand well. Dee pointed his wand at Voldemort and the flock flew as one toward him.

Voldemort's black aura appeared around him and a hundred large twigs lifted off the ground. A breeze kicked around Voldemort's robes and picked up the twigs and sent them into the flock at a hundred miles per hour. The twigs impaled each bird in the chest and sent them crashing to the ground. He stood calmly as the birds fell, only about five even getting close to hitting him.

The realization that Voldemort didn't have enough knowledge of air magic to defeat this man became apparent. He was going to need a change in strategy.

He pulled his wand and took to the skies.

A/N: I don't have much to say here other than I have no idea what it looks like around Stonehenge. I'm going with the idea of a forested hill from the description in The Sorceress, but I've never actually been there. If it's completely wrong, I'm sorry.

I liked the idea of Dee fighting with Harry Potter magic while Voldemort fought with SINF magic. But will that continue as the fight goes on?...
