Chapter Twenty-Six

It had been a couple of days since Haruka's visit on Michiru's birthday. The musician had thought that it would cause the blonde to bother her frequently and visit her more often. Ironically, the complete opposite had happened. Haruka hadn't seen her at all since then. There were only short texts from her that only rarely happened over a couple day span. Michiru kept check of her phone often-so often in fact, that Seiya teased her about it.

"Waiting for a special someone to send you a love message?" the manager snickered.

"Not at all, I was checking the time. I'm exhausted," Michiru would retort back quickly.

Being exhausted wasn't exactly a lie. The deadline for her album was fast approaching. Even Seiya looked less well than she usually did. Her skin was pale and she had dark circles under her eyes. Taiki and Kakyuu (with Haruka's help) had finished off the songs with Michiru who promptly learned the music for both vocally and for solo violin pieces Thankfully, it wasn't anything too far from her image or something that she would write for herself.

However, Seiya was being unreasonably obsessive over the song. The original, had apparently been made to be a duet. In Michiru's case, the song was being adjusted to be a solo piece. This meant that Seiya had to compose different music to fill in where the said duet would have been without it sounding like there was spaces where someone else was supposed to sing. At first, Taiki had attempted to coax Seiya into letting it be that way. He even tried to mention that maybe the open spaces would make the song intentionally give empty feelings that reflected the lyrics. The raven haired woman scoffed at the idea and insisted to have it her way.

Thankfully, and possibly even unfortunately considering how much work had been placed into it-the track wasn't a main one. Though knowing Haruka, she would possibly have her staff and Michiru film a promotional video for it later on; long after the album released as a bonus. Michiru also realized in that week, how hectic promotional videos were. She had been juggling talk shows with late night music video filming. Something that would probably be impossible if Michiru was a true pop artist. There was no way she could have learned the choreography that was in Minako Aino's or The Amazoness Quartet's music. Memorizing dances like that would take months.

Michiru was blessed that her album was a collection of ballads with a couple of remixes added in by Haruka at the end for those who wanted upbeat sounding stuff. However, she made in the type of mixes you'd listen to on a drive, down runways, or a department store rather than to dance to in a club. Most of it was smooth and almost had a house type of feel.

Today's schedule was especially hectic. While Fashion Week had long ended, Girl's Collection was occurring today. It was a huge runway show and fashion exhibition that many younger girls attended. Most of the brands featured were from Shibuya 109's top sellers with a few higher end fashion house cameos added in the mix. On top of a huge runway show, there were an abundance of celebrity appearances among the models as well as musical acts to hype the crowd up further.

Among those musical acts and celebrity appearances was Michiru Kisaki. The audience was going to get not only a special appearance but also a special sneek-peak at a song that hadn't been made public yet. The rehearsal was as lavish as it was dramatic. Michiru was going to be walking a runway and singing at the same time-and then would be remaining at the top of the stage while the other models walked for ShiTennou's brand. Apparently, the whole idea had been Haruka's brainchild. Michiru could almost kill the producer for being such an overachiever.

Here they were, both Michiru and Seiya, exhausted on a Saturday morning stuck in traffic near the stadium where the event would be held.

"Man...I'm so tired. Why do fashion shows have to do shit so early in the morning?!" exclaimed Seiya with a groan. She threw her head back into the seat of her Porche with both hands on the steering wheel as the car once again halted at a stop after slowly inching forward in the traffic jam.

"Hair and make up..and last minute fitting arrangements," Michiru explained with a laugh.

Once again, she found herself poking at her phone...wondering if she'd receive a message today. Most of the messages consisted of, "Get lots of rest tonight sleeping beauty. Your line up is big tomorrow." or "Good luck today. I'll be watching.". Usually, her phone would buzz after an extremely long day or before a big performance.

Today was one of those days. She hadn't been given a goodnight text or even a good morning one. While they were rare and spread out, the fact that Haruka hadn't yet, made Michiru's stomach nervously twist in knots.

"For fucks sake people! It's an expressway for a reason!" Seiya moaned as the car inched forward again.

Michiru couldn't help but shake her head in disbelief at the neighboring woman's impatience. It was impossible for Seiya to keep still in general, making being stuck in traffic hell for her.

"We're all heading the same direction I'm sure Seiya… I promise after the show we'll get a huge a dinner, my treat," Michiru assured.

"Really?!" Seiya asked. Her blue eyes sparkled excitedly at the mention of free food.

"Really."

"Michiru you're the best! It's been awhile since I had dinner with you. I miss it. That woman has been stealing you away so much recently that I've been eating by myself," commented Seiya.

Michiru slyly grinned, "You could have always invited Usagi-chan out. I'm sure she wouldn't have rejected the invitation."

Seiya flushed a shade of pink at the mention of the bun-haired stylist and her grip tightened on the steering wheel as they finally entered the slowly but steadily clearing road.

"I don't want to neglect you too much though. While I do work for you, we are friends… Plus, I'll probably try to properly ask her out soon anyway!" she answered.

"Oh? Really? You're going to ask her to be your girlfriend?" Michiru inquired.

"It's kind of soon to do; so maybe one day..but I thought that I could at least take her out on a date for White Day in a couple of days. It's probably going to be a pretty sensitive time for her, and I'd rather keep her mind off of that sorry ass guy she was with," explained Seiya.

"That's very kind of you. I'm sure Usagi will appreciate it," Michiru said. She gazed out the window suddenly lost in thought as it occurred to her that she was also being taken out for White Day… Where would Haruka take her to? Would they be going on some sort of fancy escapade for the day? Or would the blonde do a more intimate setting? Haruka surprisingly was casual despite her previous eccentricities.

They had arrived at the event's stadium soon after escaping the traffic hold up. There was an enormous line looping around the building as they drove past. A group of girls in the line from a distance automatically recognized Seiya's infamous Porsche convertible and jumped up and down excitedly. They grabbed a hold on one of the more oblivious members of their group's arm who hadn't noticed and started squealing excitedly to them nudging their head in the direction of the car.

Michiru couldn't held but smile at the sight. She had never been one in her youth to get starstruck but she found it cute to witness others do so over her. As a teenager she hadn't been one much for pop culture, fashion, or famous icons enough to truly appreciate it.. It wasn't until her adulthood that she grew to adore clothing, listen to decent music, and socialize with interesting figures in the small circle of the rich, talented, and famous.

Seiya pulled the car up to the back of the stadium which was blocked off by metal road barriers and security guards. Michiru grabbed her purse and phone before she slid a pair of large sunglasses to hide her partially makeup-less face from the public. The pair exited the car and quickly approached the back entrance for staff and guests. Michiru slid past the hoards of people socializing to find the coordinator. Seiya trailed straight behind her keeping an eye out for whom they were looking for so they could receive instructions.

"Ah Kisaki-san! Kou-san! You finally arrived!" the woman in charge exclaimed pushing past people as she made her way towards them.

"It's nice seeing you again. What does our schedule look like for today?" Seiya greeted.

"Shi-Tennou arrived thirty minutes ago. They're in the fitting rooms. You will go there first to make sure your dress for the stage fits. Then, hair and make up will be doing work on Kisaki-san. Before you get dressed, you will do a sound check for your performance since it's a rather big act. I will come back to give you your number in the line up with the designers," the coordinator explained as she scanned over the clipboard she was holding.

"Thank you so much! We'll be seeing you again soon!" Michiru said as she moved with a slight bow as she walked off to find the designers in the fitting room she was instructed to go to.

Michiru read the numbers and plates on the walls in the narrow hallways before she found Shi-Tennou's room. Seiya briskly knocked on the closed door which was shortly after, opened by a wavy haired strawberry-blonde man. His hair was tied back save for the front pieces, his lips were glossed, and he wore navy liner, paired with a light haze of bright lime green eye shadow, and mascara to accentuate his bright green eyes.

"Michi-chan!" he squealed excitedly latching onto the musician.

"Zoicite, it's been awhile," greeted Michiru with a warm smile.

"Seiya, it's nice to see you again soon. I'm so glad you remained her manager even after the label transfer. I know she's in good hands with you looking after her," Zoicite said, "Come in! The other models already have gotten fitted and are in make up. All we need to do is make sure the length of the gown is appropriate since you're walking down the runway and singing at the same time. We wouldn't want any mishaps!"

"Is that Michiru and Seiya?" called out a voice from inside the room.

"Yes it is, Kunzite!" Zoicite affirmed before motioning for the pair to come into the room. He shut the door behind them, making sure to also lock it.

Michiru was happy to know that the only men in the room happened to be Zoicite and Kunzite. Jadeite was more than likely occupied in another fitting room doing last minute preparations for their visual presentations and the lingerie segment. Nephrite was in charge of men's wear and was probably fitting the male models for their show. This left Michiru with the two leads of the design team that had reign over the more intricate pieces for their brand's fashion house.

"Long time no see Kunzite!" Seiya commented.

"I could say the same for you both. Thank you again as always for being the face of our brand for this show. I could have sworn that Michiru would have chosen Setsuna Meiou's collection considering her album cover and promotional material," mentioned Kunzite.

"Well, you both were there for my beginnings in the industry. It's only appropriate to model for the people who helped with that. It's always an honor to help you all out. Especially since this year has been your big debut as a brand name fashion house. Plus, I don't think Meiou-san is very fond of me after the whole Tennou, Haruka Scandal that the Witches 5 did a tabloid story on. The less interaction we have, the better," Michiru explained.

Zoicite laughed as if amused, "Do tell us about Tennou-sama. Those pictures sure looked like something more!"

Michiru flushed in embarrassment at the mention of it. It hadn't been her brightest moment. Most paparazzi sightings were tame. Ever since she had joined Tennou Entertainment however, they had been nothing but ruthless to her. Especially considering that the head of the agency was seen making moves on her. Michiru direly wished that Haruka hadn't been so careless…

"She's chivalrous, an overachiever that is way too talented for her own good, and a pain to work with. The Witches 5 are only trying to hop on something that shouldn't be a shock considering Haruka's habits," Michiru dismissed.

"Ooh! It's Ha-ru-ka now is it? You're that familiar with her?" Zoicite teased.

"Zoicite," Kunzite warned, as if he knew his lover was treading on sensitive territory.

"They work together too much to be formal," Seiya defended, giving Michiru a sly knowing smile, "Plus. Just because Michiru said she has no interest in her doesn't mean Tennou doesn't."

Zoicite unwrapped one of the dresses from the garment bag as Kunzite grabbed a tape measure and a couple of spare sewing tools. The dress itself was complex and intricate. It was probably one of the best pieces of work Michiru had ever seen from them. The piece was a flowing high-to-low sea blue dress with a jewel-embellished corseted top. Even the laces to the corseted bit had sparkling threads. Michiru knew a lot of love and work had been placed into the piece and it was an honor to even wear it.

"No way! Michiru Kisaki, that's insane. No wonder the paparazzi are after you. You're the envy of many women right now if you've caught Tennou-sama's attention. I think you're probably the only woman that would actually reject her. Of course that's going to be news!" Zoicite said interrupting Michiru's inner awe at the gown. The designers were so used to their own work and people being so taken with it that they often looked past such things as well as compliments. They were always pushing themselves to be even better..

Michiru scoffed, "I don't know why she's so taken with me. I'm sure she could easily find a replacement for me."

The musician knew she was dismissing the reality of the situation. She was secretly just as taken with the blonde. Michiru also knew that she was currently the envy of many people. It would make her a huge target… The less people knew, the better.

"That's not likely!" snorted Seiya, as Michiru undressed to change into the gown that both designers had to help her into due to various laces and straps.

"You underestimate yourself Michi! You're truly one of a kind. Maybe Tennou-sama will manage to actually keep away from everyone else because nobody else will be able to top your beauty and elegance," Zoicite insisted.

"You forgot to add talent and wit, love. As much as Michiru is all of those things, I'm very sure Tennou-san sees a lot more than just her exterior. Mind you, she has had plenty of beautiful women. If that was what she was after, she would have already gotten bored with Michiru," Kunzite added with a soft reassuring smile as he knelt to adjust the hem of the dress.

"You all are way too kind and thinking way too much into this situation!" Michiru exclaimed.

"And you think way too little of yourself," teased Seiya with a knowing smirk, "I'm sure a certain blonde would agree."

"Suddenly you're on her side again..." Michiru muttered darkly.

Zoicite laughed bemusedly as he tossed the fronts of his curly hair away from the sides of his face, "Apparently it's gotten a lot more interesting since we last saw each other! That label change was definitely for the better!"

"I could say in more way than one. You should ask about Seiya's love life actually!" Michiru shot back. If they were going to bring hers up, then the aqua haired woman had no qualms of throwing her manager under the bus with her.

"Ohoho! Seiya Kou you too? Just how many good looking people are over in that building hm?" cackled Zoicite.

"Enough to give Kunzite a run for his money," Seiya answered playfully.

"Lucky for him that I'm faithful," Zoicite said batting his eye lashes as his partner as he stood up and walked over to the other side of the room.

The silver haired designer swatted at his boyfriend's bum teasingly as he strode past, "Lucky for them you are. I'd break their fingers if they touched you."

Kunzite was known to be very taken with Zoicite. As charming as the man was, he was almost dangerously obsessed with his partner. It's why they worked together. Despite Zoicite's loving and childish ways-it was actually Kunzite who was clingy. If anything, the auburn haired man was much more independent than his lover. Regardless, he often said that he found it flattering that his boyfriend loved him that much, and often indulged him in his possessiveness.

"I'm glad to know you love me that much love. You have nothing to worry about. I'm sure none of them can light a fire next to your hotness," Zoicite said lovingly.

"So who is this lucky girl, Seiya?" Kunzite questioned as he examined the gown one last time. He made Michiru slowly turn and walk in with her glittering matching heels just to make sure nothing snagged as she walked.

"Well, if you just have to know, it's Tennou's stylist. Her name is Usagi Tsukino, and she's a total cutie! One of those larme* girls... She's so pretty that she could be a model herself probably if she really wanted to, but also not one of those self conscious girls who complains about her weight or looks either. The little lady has an appetite-which I don't mind at all. It means I might have fun dates in the future after all.. She's also super fun to tease," Seiya explained with a fond smile. Her eyes glittered excitedly as she spoke, and Michiru then knew that Usagi would be a very lucky girl. Seiya was very in love with her and she could just tell even from the expression on her face and how she spoke of her.

"She's totally in love," murmured Zoicite.

"Indeed," Michiru agreed.

"I wish you the best of luck my friend," Kunzite said patting Seiya on the shoulder as he disposed of the sewing materials onto the table.

The duo finished up with the work on their final piece for the show before dismissing Michiru; who redressed in casual clothes and got ready for hair and make up. It was something that Michiru actually dreaded because Seiya couldn't sit still. She had to walk around or make herself scarce in such an area. She felt out of place at these type of fashion shows despite being a manager as her job. Due to this, Michiru ended up alone in hair and make up.

Despite her fame and glamor, Michiru wasn't one to socialize openly with other people. There were few people whom she actually connected well with on a conversational level. Regardless of the changes she made to herself and her rise to fame by her talents, she was still the socially awkward Michiru Kaiou that she had been in high school. She still blended in with the crowd until people made effort to approach her. Most were intimidated by her and steered clear unless it was their job to interact with her.

The make up artist made small talk with her asking her how she was and that she had seen her on television recently. Michiru had put on her best stage facade and gracefully thanked the woman for watching and supporting her work. The conversation was routinely puppeteered out of her-most told Michiru the same things over and over again to the point that she could thoughtlessly answer back like an actress. Most people were too in awe of her to really be able to differentiate between her answers to them and others.

"There you are!" called out a familiar voice making the hair on the back of Michiru's neck stand on edge at the realization of whom it was.

"Haruka! What are you doing here?" Michiru asked, stunned that she was seeing the blonde in person for the first time in a couple days. She even felt her face heat up, recalling the last time they had seen each other they had shared Michiru's bed, and Haruka had told her that she wanted nothing more than to stay in it with her.

"I thought that you would need a little bit more support than usual considering the size of this show. Plus, I've never seen you walk down a runway in the flesh-so I thought I'd pay a visit," answered Haruka with a wink.

The make up artist happened to also be enamored by Haruka's sudden appearance. The girl instantly fawned over her, saying that she was a huge fan and loved her work. That it was an honor to see her in person. She also asked how Haruka was after her car accident that seemed ages ago and not something from a few weeks before. Michiru then wondered if Haruka had gotten her stitches removed yet…

"Kisaki-san, we are finished. You can go and get dressed for your rehearsal stage," the make up artist announced.

"Thank you very much," Michiru acknowledged as she slid out of the chair. She turned to Haruka right after and asked, "Where will you be watching from?"

The blonde producer smiled slyly, "Secret!"

Michiru rolled her eyes sulking that Haruka wouldn't disclose something so minor.

"Hey, don't do that. I promise that you'll know exactly where I am when the time comes. I'll see you in a little bit okay? I need to go tend to something," Haruka coaxed.

"You go do that then," Michiru muttered with a small smile as she walked back to ShiTennou's dressing room to change back into the garment they designed.

It was one thing to linger around Michiru changing, or even be entertained by ShiTennou; but Seiya was not fond of interacting with anyone else unless it was for networking. While fashion shows certainly meant business, they happened to also be social engagements where many models lingered and chatted away while they waited to go onto the runway. There would be interviewers and press doing behind the scenes coverage. In all, Seiya often felt in the way at these things and would often excuse herself.

Usually, roaming meant going outside for a cigarette break or finding food to occupy herself with-both of which she was intending to do. Coffee first, and then a cigarette break. The raven haired woman was way too tired from needing to rise and shine for the event. Coffee was needed and then maybe a cigarette for her nerves. Places like this made her feel antsy as hell!

Seiya awkwardly walked around the premises, often darting and maneuvering her away around running stylists and designers, and ducking out of camera shots. She honestly could not wait to find a corner to hide in until Michiru was ready. At the very far part of the backstage area sat small things to eat and coffee.

"Oh hell yes..." Seiya murmured to herself making a beeline for the vegetables or fruit on the table to go with her coffee. The manager realized that the coffee wasn't cheap, but premium type meaning the buzz would be a good one, "Thank god, they got the good shit."

Someone laughed behind her making Seiya flinch in shock at being heard.

"Only the best for the staff here with their long hours," Usagi announced. Today, the blonde looked exceptionally cute. She had on a light pink off the shoulder sweater with jewels glittering near the chest and a white cinched skirt with a retro-like feel that stopped above the knees with two rows of lacing at the top. She had extra height on her today with ballerina style platform shoes with heart cut-out details in the back adorning her feet. Usagi's make up was also flawless today as much as it was more than she would wear to the office.

"Uwaaa! You look super cute today!" Seiya exclaimed affectionately.

Usagi turned pink at the comment as if overwhelmed by the compliment, "I had to look nice. It's a fashion event. I am Tennou-san's stylist after all..."

"I'm assuming that's why you're here," Seiya suggested, her head motioning towards the lanyard around Usagi's neck stating she had backstage and VIP access.

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it either way. It's an event I actually enjoy going to," replied Usagi.

"It's such a relief you're here. I feel so out of place at these things," Seiya said with a sigh as she began to make a coffee, "Would you like one?"

"I don't need to be more wired up than I am. I will have however, those strawberries...and maybe the mochi too! I'm not modeling, so I can indulge," answered Usagi.

Seiya couldn't help but feel ecstatic. The girl she liked was here to save the day. She was officially going to be entertained.

"Where exactly is Kisaki-san?" Usagi continued.

"Off getting ready for her rehearsal. She gets to walk down a runway and perform at the same time… I should really fucking thank our boss for deciding to be an overachiever. Michiru's got her work cut out of her on this one," explained Seiya as she took a swig of coffee.

"I'm sure she'll do fine… Haruka will be there with her every step of the way," assured Usagi with a sly smile.

Seiya raised an eyebrow curiously.

"What exactly do you mean by that hm?"

"You'll just have to watch and see!" Usagi proclaimed with a wink before walking off.

"H-Hey wait up! Take me with you!" Seiya called out instantly tailing behind the bun haired girl.

Michiru was all ready to go. Adrenaline was running through her veins and she was stunned to know that she felt nervous. This was only a rehearsal and her heart was racing. Nobody would be watching other than the staff. The attendees weren't allowed in yet. She stood on the side of the stage ready to walk, wondering if Haruka was somewhere lingering to watch down below the stage. She adjusted her mic that she held in her hand and the beginning notes of the song she was meant to sing began.

The aquamarine haired woman gracefully walked to the center of the stage, keeping her voice steady with the backtrack as she sang as the stage light shined on her. The song began out slow and elegant. It would eventually pick up pace into one of Haruka's mixes of it…

Finally as the slow opening transitioned, Michiru began to brace herself for the walk down the runway. She direly hoped she could balance the movement of high stiletto heels, a high-to-low gown, and a mic.. She needed to keep her voice steady. However, as Michiru went to-heel-first onto the long lit strip of the runway what suddenly heard stunned her… She knew she couldn't turn back to look. She had to to sing and look straight as she walked the straight path down. The electronics that were being played weren't the usual insturmentals that went with the track. The music was mixed even further than Michiru was used to-however, it still kept the tempo that Michiru needed for it not to sound off.

Haruka was manually DJing the song… From where? Michiru had yet to know because she couldn't look back at all. She continued to sing and felt her voice coming out stronger as she sang; knowing that the woman that she was slowly falling for was supporting her on the stage. As she reached the end of the runway, she couldn't hold back her smile any longer as she sang the opening chorus of the song and turned back around.

Up at the risers that had been placed at the top of the main stage stood a very gorgeous blonde in a ShiTennou original outfit-a navy blazer with sparkling threads of gold and silver adorned Haruka. The cuffs of the blazer were folded on her as managed to switch between the mixer board, laptop, and keyboard. Under the blazer she wore a black v-neck top under with long layered gold and silver necklaces with sword charms as the accessory. Her dress pants matched her black top but her shoes were a shiny navy. The most interesting part of the look was the fact that Haruka was wearing make up of all things.

Michiru was sure that Haruka wore some for everyday, but it was subtle. Most likely something that was limited to a BB cushion, contour, liner, and maybe some non-elongating/volumizing mascara just to tint her lashes. Seeing Haruka wear eyeshadow of glittering gold and copper on her lids was a shock… Michiru as she continued to walk closer noticed that brown eyeshadow was used as a crease color and that she was wearing navy winged eyeliner...and a nude lip color. Heck, she even had a glow from a highlighter on her cheek bones!

In all the blonde producer looked stunning. She was a gorgeous mix of feminine and masculine. Michiru was pretty sure that the whole concept was a combination of Nephrite's mens wear skills along with Kunizite's sparkling embellishments added for a glamorous touch. The make up was most likely Zoicite's idea. Michiru could only confirm this because Zoicite had sported the same navy liner that morning..

Michiru couldn't help but grin as she finished the song and Haruka's gaze finally met hers… She wanted to poke at her for showing up and managing to literally surprise her in more way than one but the stage coordinators interrupted her intentions as they praised the pair for their excellent performance.

"That was amazing! The audience is going to be so surprised to see you both on stage together. It's going to be such a treat!" one of the coordinators exclaimed.

"Well, after such good reception from Michiru's first performance during her debut, I thought it would be a nice treat for Girls Collection. We want the audience to feel special," answered Haruka.

"Kisaki-san, you look stunning as always. Your walk was perfect. Please keep everything the same during your performance. Obviously the performance will be longer as the models walk down the runway after your solo walk. If you could position yourself at the top of the risers in the center next to Tennou-san and her equipment that would be great. Each model will be lined up at the bottom after their walk. You and Tennou-san will exit the stage last together after ShiTennou's line up is finished," the coordinator instructed.

"Understood. Thank you for your guidance," Michiru answered with a nod.

The pair made their way backstage and the model found herself being clung to by a very emotional Zoicite.

"Oh my gosh! Michi~~! It looked so beautiful! Both you and Tennou-san are going to be the talk of the whole damn event! I feel so lucky!" he exclaimed.

"We are lucky," Kunzite corrected as he showed up moments later. Next to him stood Nephrite who looked tired and yet pleased. Michiru almost wondered where the heck Jaedite was but decided not to question since she wasn't so fond of him. He was probably somewhere harassing some model he fancied…

"I feel honored to work with you all. Your clothing is beautiful," Michiru said.

"Tennou-san, you fit that get up well," Nephrite commented.

"I think the make up was a really nice touch!" added Zoicite with a smug smirk.

Haruka groaned, "My face feels like it's smothering. I keep having to remember to not rub my eyes."

Michiru tried to hold back laughing in fear that making fun of her boss in front of others would look bad-but she couldn't help it. It was funny hearing Haruka whine about something that Michiru was so accustomed to wearing. She laughed bemused.

"Welcome to my world," she shot.

"It's not like I haven't worn any before… Just not so much. They caked me up," defended Haruka.

"Stage make up is best for when you're faced with large groups of people. The audience will be able to see from far. It photographs well. Plus, it actually really looks nice on you Tennou-san! You should wear gold more often!" Zoicite commented.

"And navy… Nephrite, I do have to say the navy was a good color choice," Kunzite added.

"It was your idea to mix metals. At first I thought it would clash but with such a dark color...it accessorizes nicely," said Nephrite.

"In all, it was a very well managed group effort," Michiru complimented with a smile.

Haruka scoffed, "Here you guys are making a huge deal about me but the main attraction is standing right here. Michiru is supposed to be the belle of the ball."

"By all means, take the attention. I get too much as is," Michiru said moving away as if to shove the attention towards the blonde's direction to prove her point.

"Actually, when you both stand together….you two draw all the attention towards you. Especially in our clothes. Both pieces were supposed to compliment each other. The hues of blue and the sparkling bits match for a reason," Kunzite pointed out.

"Even without our clothes they'd draw all the attention towards them. They're fabulous," Zoicite murmured.

"You give me..and her..far too much credit," Michiru said.

"Anyway, we have a bit until we go on. We must find the other models! Meet us back here in an hour so we can line you all up properly," Zoicite announced.

The pair nodded as the set of designers stalked off to tend to their other models for the show. They seemed strangely relaxed to be so busy and about to do a showcase. Michiru dismissed it at them doing what they loved and knowing the full insides and outs of their show because of that.

"You look beautiful," Haruka complimented; pulling her out of her musings.

"It's nothing you haven't already seen," dismissed Michiru.

Haruka chuckled, "That may be true but it doesn't make what I said any less true either. I enjoy getting to see you all dressed up..."

"That was some surprise… You're lucky I'm so focused or I would have slipped. I had no idea you were doing a duet on stage with me," Michiru said.

There was a twinkle in the blonde's eyes as she spoke. It was as if she had slyly made a ton of plans behind Michiru's back and had a line up.

"To be honest…I've always wanted to share a stage with you. Ever since your first violin recital years ago. Playing the piano next to you would have been the greatest honor. However, you're not partaking in the classics right now; so this is as close as I get.. As hectic as your first performance on that television show was, I enjoyed it. I kind of wanted to relive it because I didn't get to thoroughly enjoy it as I wished I had," admitted Haruka.

Michiru flushed at the compliment. She had no idea that Haruka had even watched her back then at her debut violin recital… Just how long had this woman been pining for her? It was ironic, especially considering that the violinist had pined for her first-only to be rejected by the same person.

"Go figure you'd make a job a personal wish fulfillment," she muttered.

"You were smiling the whole way through. You'd be lying if you said it wasn't because of me," Haruka teased.

Michiru broke her gaze feeling cornered.

"You also give yourself far too much credit..."

"And you give yourself far too little. Embrace it, we're about to be awesome. Zoicite even has faith in us. I'm going with it," Haruka said.

"You're not one bit nervous?" Michiru questioned.

"I'm not walking down the runway for a reason," answered Haruka.

"Gee thanks, so you put me up to the task instead," sarcastically teased Michiru.

"Trust me, you walk much better in high heels than I would. Plus, who would work the equipment on the stage? I'm honestly flustered enough being in front of such a large crowd. You're amazing for even taking on the task," Haruka said.

"Haruka Tennou? Flustered?" Michiru snorted.

"You'd be shocked just how human I am."

"Or at least how un-human you think you are. You did think you could play chicken with a mountain side recently after all," Michiru reminded her.

Haruka groaned, "Ugh! Don't remind me. I just got to stitches out the other day ago and it was miserable. Honestly, Mizuno-sensei is a complete savage. How is Usagi friends with a woman like that?"

Michiru giggled. Once again, the blonde was being a total baby. However, much like Haruka had mentioned, it made her seem so much more human just as much as her being flustered more frequently did. Honestly? Haruka was more childlike than she would have ever thought she was. She was playful and even had a vulnerable side around Michiru that she didn't have around other people.

The musician wondered how genuine Haruka was being around her.. Maybe this was truly Haruka Tennou without the shield of sleek and cool confidence that always surrounded her. It made her feel guilty. Kisaki, Michiru was a bit of a lie despite Michiru being herself. She wasn't being as honest.

The crowd filled in a couple of hours later. Press sat up front-most occupied with their DSLR cameras and recording materials. Standing behind were thousands of young girls huddled up around the stage, excitedly waiting for the opening of the fashion showcase. Seiya had left Michiru to her own demise backstage and had decided to sit towards the front side of the VIP area with Usagi.

The bun-haired girl was bouncing in her seat equally as excited as the girls in the general audience. If one didn't know that she was a stylist for Tennou Entertainment, they would have thought she was sitting in the wrong spot.

Eventually, the first brand was introduced. It wasn't ShiTennou's line, but a 109 brand that was fairly popular among teenagers. The clothing was cute and bubbly-and very much Usagi's style from what Seiya noted. Two models walked out causing a cry of excitement from the audience-one was a boy and the other, a girl holding hands smiling as they walked down the runway.

Usagi fangirled over the pair. She fawned over the male model who was a rather popular figure in an all boy idol group. Jealousy surged through Seiya suddenly… Did...Did Usagi have a thing for idol boys?

"A favorite of yours?" Seiya leaned into ask so she could be heard over the crowd.

"He's only part of one of the most famous boy bands in Japan! Where the heck have you been Seiya? It's a big deal!" Usagi exclaimed.

"Your favorite member?" pressed Seiya.

"Yes! He's the leader. I like cool devilish guys like that who also have leadership qualities. It shows that they're not total douches since leaders have to look out for the other members. It shows they have a soft side. Plus, he's a good dancer as well," explained Usagi. A bright smile danced on her lips as she watched the pair pass on the runway as they headed back towards the stage. Seiya wanted to pout. She was totally jealous now…

The brand's show ended. Suddenly, her jealousy dissipated as ShiTennou's logo appeared on the screen as the stage grew dark and the first notes of Michiru's song began to play. As the lights brightened again, Michiru was revealed singing on center stage in her sparkling high-to-low gown. There was a roar from the audience-some of excitement and others a reaction of surprise as they began to realize that not only Michiru Kisaki was on stage; but up above on a set of risers was Haruka Tennou in another ShiTennou original design. She was focused on the keyboard, mix-board, and laptop-but there was an ever-so-present smirk on her face. The blonde producer knew she had caused a damn uproar and was proud of it.

"Uwa….this is so much more intense in person," Usagi said in awe.

"Damn straight….and here I got chills on TV watching the last time," Seiya added.

Usagi vigorously nodded in agreement, "They're too cool…."

"Haruka-sama I love you!" a couple of girls screamed.

"Michiru-san you're gorgeous!" another few called out.

Michiru effortlessly sang and strode down the runway, her gown was a cascade of glitter behind her as she walked… Her long legs were emphasized by the cut of the dress; and suddenly Seiya knew why Zoicite and Kunzite picked such a design knowing that Michiru would be multitasking down the runway. It made her look as fierce as she was elegant. This was probably the most amazing Michiru had ever looked. This performance would be iconic… ShiTennou knew this and had made sure to design only the best garments for such a performance.

Haruka even looked stunning. Seiya had never seen the woman wear so much make up in her life...however, somehow Haruka still looked masculine as she did feminine with both a sparkling suit set with accessories paired with the make up. The touch of make up was no doubt Zoicite's idea and Seiya couldn't help but knowingly grin at noticing such a thing.

Michiru had made her stop down the end of the runway and had turned to retreat back up the top. Seiya couldn't help but feel her nails dig into her palms in silent prayer that Michiru would not slip and fall… Midway, her grip had loosened knowing that Michiru had made it. There would be no slip ups..

Usagi even let out a sigh of relief.

"Ahhhh! I was so worried that she might fall. Her eyes were on Haruka the entire time on the way back. I thought she might lose her footing," she stated.

"Was she looking at her? I would have thought she was merely focused on looking straight so she wouldn't fall," said Seiya.

"Their eyes met for a second and Michiru-san smiled. I think she was happy she caught Haruka's attention. That's how I knew..."

"No feelings my ass…," Seiya scoffed with a laugh.

"It's only a matter of time," Usagi agreed.

"As long as your boss doesn't royally fuck up and hurt her, I have no qualms. Michi is a big girl. She can make decisions on her own," Seiya said.

The other models began to walk down the stage causing just as much equal excitement with the spectating crowd. Each model was from Tennou's agency. The next up was Ceres from the Amazoness Quartet. Following were her sisters one by one in rainbow colored gowns in different cuts afterward. It was almost a shockingly controversial move considering that the debuting idol group had a fashion designer mother who rivaled ShiTennou.. Seiya was very sure that would also make news as much as Michiru's performance would. Matter of fact-it was likely that Tennou Entertainment would be the top story all together when it came to press coverage for Girls Collection.

Even the ever-so-troublesome Minako Aino looked amazing as the final walk down the runway in a lacy copper colored ShiTennou design. Everyone stood on stage together as Michiru sang the last bits of the song. All of the models began to walk off of the stage waving to the audience until Haruka and Michiru were the only remaining people on the stage. The lights suddenly dimmed again causing the crowd to applaud. The lights brightened again revealing the four designers of ShiTennou on the stage bowing and waving as a thanks to the audience for the support.

"They've definitely made a mark for themselves after this show. It's about time," commented Seiya. She was happy for her friends. They had been Michiru's debuting brand but they had never quite kicked off as a huge mainstream brand. They were merely a boutique with a loyal following. After this showcase as well as their first Fashion Week, ShiTennou would definitely be sought after and featured more frequently.

"I'm so happy for them. They've worked so hard," Usagi said.

The remainder of the show continued on. However, Seiya found herself attention span weaning away from the show and often to her phone. Every other showcase dulled in comparison to ShiTennou's spectacular showcase. It even seemed as if Usagi was half paying attention; and only kept partial attention because many of the clothes were very much so her style. She also had probably wanted to pay attention due to it being a part of her job as stylist to know what each brand was designing and what was going to be trendy for the season.

"After this show we should meet up with Michiru and Haruka," Usagi suggested suddenly.

Seiya blinked rather shocked-she swore that Usagi would have sat through the entire set of the show but the girl beside her had proven her wrong.

"You don't want to continue watching?" she inquired.

"Ready to wear pieces will be at 109 very soon. Anything else, I've made my connections. There's aren't any new designers that I've not already introduced myself to. Anyone else gave me their business card when I arrived this morning before I found you," Usagi explained.

"Backstage it is then," Seiya said. She was impressed. She had clearly underestimated Usagi. She had long done work before Michiru and herself had even arrived. She had merely been watching the showcase out of anticipation for ShiTennou's set and out of enjoyment. She had long seen what she wanted to already…

It made Seiya realize this was a girl who played the role of a sweet child-like girl who just happened to gain Haruka Tennou's sympathy-but had actually been someone who was very capable of her job. It wasn't Tennou's sympathy at all; it had been a keen eye. Seiya was not sure how the bun-haired woman had managed to meet someone like Haruka; but however it had been-something about Usagi had caught her eye. She had more than earned her place there at Tennou Entertainment…. Seiya realized right then, when it came to work, Usagi was passionate and serious. She enjoyed her work, thus, making her seem childlike. Deep down, Usagi was meeting people and using her bright and cheery image to gain clients for each person under her company. She had paid attention to the routine enough to know what was showcasing as ready to wear and what was limited to the runway. She knew every designer there and knew whom to contact if an idea spurred around her head for someone's project. Usagi Tsukino was truly a force to be reckoned with…

Michiru had stepped off of the stage feeling weak at the knees. She hadn't been so nervous since her first runway show. There was something about this Girls Collection in particular that made her extremely anxious… It was unsettling not knowing whether it was Michiru's own nerves performing live in front of an audience so large-or if it was performing in front of Haruka on such a large stage in front of a massive amount of people. Regardless, it was over now and Michiru had found her footing just enough to last before collapsing on the floor beneath her as her knees gave out. Her heart raced…. Was she having an anxiety attack? She felt herself shaking…

"Oh Michi-chan! I'm here to save the day!" Jadeite called out running to her side.

This, also made Michiru feel extremely anxious as all attention suddenly was on her. She had wanted to break down quietly-but here was this idiot causing a ruckus.

"I-I'm fine," the musician insisted through gritted teeth.

"Out the way," a stern but cool voice of Haruka Tennou suddenly called out. The blonde haired female shoved Jadeite away without a second thought appearing right by her side.

"Oh...it's you," Jadeite commented with a sniff of disdain.

"Yes, it's me. I don't recall you being her boss. It's not your job to look after her. Actually, last I recall you pestered her while she was trying to have a quiet evening alone..." Haruka retorted.

"From what I also remember Haruka, you aren't her manager either. Shouldn't that be a job for Kou-san? You're doing an awful lot for such a newly debuting artist. A shame you're not doing that for the rest of us that are in need," another shrill voice called out from the crowd.

There stood Minako Aino towering over Haruka who was crouched beside Michiru. This suddenly was turning into a complete disaster. Michiru wished her legs would move already…

"You also shouldn't be the one calling into studios requesting audio tracks. That isn't your job either. Don't think for a minute I've overlooked your little stunt. Jealousy isn't a good look on you Minako," answered Haruka.

"You have no proof," Minako challenged.

Jadeite backed away slowly as if realizing he was in the middle of what could be a potential cat-fight. There were only two women in his life that he didn't dare mess with from what Michiru could vaguely recall the man venting over. One was his ex-girlfriend Rei Hino, heiress of the infamous art-deco style Hino Hotel. The other being the woman right in front of him. Minako Aino was a force to be reckoned with from what she had seen and heard. Jadeite had briefly also dated her and met her fury-and more so than Haruka Tennou ever had. Minako being asshole repellent was the only thing Michiru was grateful for. However, now they had a totally different issue on their hands. The model turned musician was extremely grateful that press was occupied with the other runway shows and not backstage…

"Eiji also was dismissed from his work place thanks to you. I did a little investigating of my own. Things like that don't just happen," Haruka spat. Her tone sounded irritated and angry. Michiru was almost grateful that she wasn't on the receiving end of it. An arm protectively went around her shoulders pulling her close to the blonde beside her.

Minako let out a small 'tch' of annoyance. Michiru wasn't sure if it was over being caught or the small affectionate gesture.

"Your time at Tennou Agency has closed. Your contract is terminated. I'll be kind enough to let you announce your departure at the Record Awards in a couple of weeks and collect your awards if there are any. Other than that, I'll no longer be working with you or will be allowing you to participate in any promotional activities under the Tennou label," Haruka continued.

"All over this girl? Do you want to know what I know about this girl?" Minako asked with a dry laugh. Michiru's heart stopped… What did Minako know?

Haruka raised an eyebrow in response to the threat.

Minako's smile widened, "How about we not go there actually… Michiru-chan, I'll give you some leeway to make a decision for yourself. After all, you're technically about to be the same boat as us poor girls, and I'm not the idol of love for nothing. I'll stay true to my name and give you some options... Instead, I'll let you know about what I know about Haruka Tennou..."

"Shut it bitch," Haruka snarled.

"My, my, Haruka-kun… Is that what you call someone you were so familiar with? It's not very nice… Then again, you're not very nice to most of the girls you court once you get your way in the end. Let me tell you a thing or three about Haruka Tennou, Michiru-chan. She is a notorious playgirl that will make you feel special for as long as you need her to do so-as long as she get what she wants in the end. She will shower you with gifts, dinners, and time. She will tell you that she will want nothing more than to lay by your side at night to watch you sleep. Haruka will claim that you're the only girl that's had the honor of being the passenger in her sports cars… Just so you know, you are not special at all. The good morning and good night greetings are routine. Everything she will say to you will be an act until she grows bored of you. Then you'll be labeled as the crazy bitch ex, like myself. You are not special. You are one of us. Just like Setsuna and I. I'll give you a little sympathy because you don't know better… Then again, perhaps you do know better now wouldn't you?" Minako ranted on.

"Michiru don't listen to her, she is bitter," Haruka stated.

Michiru tensed up in response. Not at the accusations from Minako over Haruka, but what Minako was implying otherwise…..

"Kaiou-san, I'll be in touch," Minako said with a smile that could have shot straight through someone and killed them. It might as well could have at that moment, because Michiru forgot to breathe… Minako turned away in her moment of triumph and sauntered off to god knows where. It didn't matter. Michiru was stunned-rooted in place…

Someone knew….

"Kaiou-san?" Haruka asked.

"She must be confused by reading some crazy Witches 5 tabloid story. My surname is Kisaki, not Kaiou," Michiru answered as calmly as she could. Deep down she was panicking. What was she going to do…? This was so close to her music debut. This could affect her career. Never mind Haruka! Haruka was a loss but Michiru was more concerned in that moment of saving the things that made her whom she was…. Modeling had became her income. Music was just a challenge but even then-if this got exposed? She could guarantee that would never ever being able to model, perform, or even participate within the art community ever again… She would be finished…

Then again wasn't Haruka important as well? Hadn't Haruka been a part of what started this whole mess…? No the whole pseudonym hadn't been a part of that ordeal-but the intention and beginnings of plastic surgery and modeling had been. The whole start of all of this had been because the woman beside her had called her ugly in her youth despite flirting with her via relayed messages…. Haruka did not love Michiru for her art unless she was as beautiful as her art...

How had Minako found out…? Nobody was ever supposed to know… Had Seiya betrayed her? That was the only person who truly knew other than her surgeon…

"She's crazy and no longer welcome in my presence. Please don't listen to her. You are special to me. I know it may not seem like it from what she has said, but I really do want a new beginning with you," Haruka assured.

"Haruka…."

"Oi! What a performance you two! Where are the others? I have to congratulate them too!" Seiya's voice rang out causing Michiru to flinch. Tears suddenly streamed from her eyes without any warning at all…

"A-Ah! Michiru-san!" Usagi exclaimed panicked.

"Michi..."

"Ah don't mind me...It's been a long day. I don't know where the boys went off to," Michiru replied. She attempted to keep her voice steady but knew it would be pointless. She was a mess.

Suddenly, Michiru was hauled up to her feet and before she could get another word in or hear another word from Usagi or her manager-she was being pulled across the backstage area by Haruka and dragged into the empty ShiTennou changing/fitting room right past the boys who had finished getting ready to head out to face the press. The blonde haired producer shut and locked the door behind her and pulled Michiru into a fiercely tight hug. The rough action made Michiru yelp in surprise suddenly feeling the intensity of whatever Haruka was feeling right then and there.

"I'm sorry. Today was perfect until the very end. I loved performing with you. I love you so much and nothing will ever change that Michiru Kisaki. I'm sorry that today ended up being intense and that you saw a bad side of me. I didn't mean to frighten you," Haruka whispered.

"Haruka..."

"Let's get you cleaned up and undressed, shall we? Where are your clothes from earlier?" the blonde continued as she let go.

"Under the table over there. I can get them," Michiru answered.

"No need. I'll get them. Just get undressed," Haruka replied, moving over to the table where her belongings were at.

Michiru made no move to get undressed. She suddenly feel small and self conscious knowing the information that she did… She wanted to distance herself as far away from Haruka as possible and hide away. She direly needed to speak to Seiya about all of this.. Michiru felt as if her chest were going to burst in panic..

Haruka looked over at her questioningly. The aqua-haired musician didn't not want to rouse suspicion at all and tried to make the ordeal seem as normal as possible…

She lifted her long hair up off of her back and neck to reveal the zipper of the dress before asking, "Help me?"

Haruka smirked knowingly, before striding over behind her. She wrapped her long arms around her waist, "Is that an offer?"

Michiru felt the hairs on her neck stand up as the woman behind her breathed down her neck.

"I-I'm genuinely asking," she retorted.

"Who am I to decline? Especially when the reward is…" Haruka no longer continued her sentence as she undid the zipper of the ShiTennou creation; unlacing the corseting in the back and trailing soft kisses down her spine. The dress slid off Michiru's body with ease leaving her only in her panties in front of the woman she had been so taken with recently…

Michiru felt foolish in front of very clothed Haruka didn't look away for a minute despite being behind her-thus, making her feel even more vulnerable. She could feel Haruka's eyes piercing her even without being able to see her.

The blonde's hands crept under her ribs and up to her bare breasts, giving both a fond squeeze; Michiru was suddenly very self-conscious that Haruka might realize that they weren't real…. She found herself prying away from Haruka's grasp leaving the woman's face looking confused..

"Michiru…?"

"We're not alone here," Michiru pointed out. She was trying to come up a feasible excuse...any at all. She just needed to get out this room and out of this building as fast as possible.

"Then let me help us to be alone," Haruka offered, "Let me take you to dinner."

Michiru grabbed at her clothes. She fastened her bra up herself before sliding on her dress that she had arrived in. Touching up her make up that had ran from tearing up earlier, she slid on her shoes and grabbed her handbag as she replied, "I promised a dinner with Seiya already."

"Then she can come along. I'll take you home afterward and spare her the trip. We can even bring Usagi," Haruka said.

Michiru shook her head 'no' to decline the offer.

"As nice as this has been Haruka, I can't. I haven't seen Seiya outside of work in awhile. I promised I'd catch up with her. Thank you for everything," she said with a short bow in gratitude. She hastily made a grab for the door handle and pulled the door open. She threw herself out of the room as fast she could before Haruka could manage to grab at her in an attempt to stop her.

Michiru's heart raced-almost leaping out of her chest as she felt it would earlier. She quickly made sure that she was lost deep enough within the crowded sea of staff and models to where it would take awhile to be found by anyone. She knew that she would not be relieved of this adrenaline rush until she was out of this building. And even then, she'd probably still have that sick feeling in her stomach even after all of this. Michiru felt as if she had tunnel vision right now because she was so panicked and unsure of what to do… She needed to quickly find Seiya so they could talk…. She needed to talk to Seiya….

(A/N: I'm always screaming in author notes and I'm trying to refrain from screaming but OMG HI. Long time no speak. I promise I haven't forgotten you all. This semester's been crazy. Life has been crazy. Other fandoms have kind of taken over but I ASSURE you as always, this is going to be continued and finished. I know the ending-AND we are getting so much closer to the ending too. It's feeling a lot more real now. Just a couple more chapters I think…? I'm saying at max ten more chapters maybe and possibly less? There's one or two more plot bunnies I have to pull out of my magic hat before we get to the grand finale and the epilogue.

Regardless, I hope you enjoyed this EXTRA LONG CHAPTER. Forreals, I hope this makes up for the wait. This actually took months to right because I wanted to cut it off at just the right area and this seemed appropriate. Oh man, it's kind of cliffie but then again, we ALL KNOW how Minako knows and it's certainly not through Seiya. Though, now the question is; how the heck is Seiya going to take this news? How is Michiru going to handle this now...basically Minako had threatened and kind of silently said in warning, "Remove yourself from Haruka's life and I'll leave your career be. I'm being generous."

I will point out that Minako is kind of taking the plan into her own hands. Mainly because she's angry. The fashion show and performance infuriated her and she couldn't help but cause a scene… So now the question is: will Setsuna be happy about this? Will Rei even give a fuck? LMAO. You'll figure out soon!

ALSO thank you for the very kind of reviews. There was a reviewer that wasn't so happy I guess with me throwing Japanese references in here? Honestly….they're super habitual. I grew up watching a ton of J-Dramas/movies and anime...add that with watching Namie Amuro interviews/fashion stuff and it's where a lot of my weird quirks come from. I really can't help it; it kind of just comes out as I write because I'm seeing this fic in a certain light as I write. Not even to be pretentious or brag! I genuinely love this stuff and partially grew up with some of it so it's kind of ingrained in a weird way. I really wish I knew how to explain it. Basically, the story would translate as a J-Drama/K-Drama (because the OST I made has K-Pop so wtf if Hana Yori Dango can have both a Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese version so can this story in my head lololol) to me in my head-even more so than an anime? So sorry if that offends you? I pretty much have imagery/plans/music/clothing everything planned out and it kind of revolves around things I know about/like. That's the point of fanfiction no?

Regardless, thank you all for your support and kind messages. It really keeps me going and motivates me to finish. I'm really entertained by your guy's theories or reactions. LOL They totally cheer me up. TO ENTERTAIN THAT J/K-DRAMA MUSE….I've actually came up with a real life cast before (not based on acting but more so their aesthetic/look) and I'll share here. Shizuka Mutou (ex Ageha model who has a clothing line called Rady) would play the perfect Michiru Kaiou, a very blonde Park Young Hee is my choice for Haruka Tennou. Usagi would a very early era and young Okarie but with larme style clothing (an old Popteen model), and Seiya had been f(x)'s Amber since the very freaking beginning. I dunno why-it think it just fits. If anyone has any other suggestions for characters or even better ideas for the ones I shared-please share. Entertain my muse! LOL)
