HarryPOV
There was gold above me, the snitch! I thought wildly. My arms were too heavy to grasp it though. I blinked up at it, confused as it turned into a pair of glasses. What the heck is happening to me? I blinked again and saw the face of Albus Dumbledore swim into view.
"Wh-where's Dad?" I asked faintly, "Where's the others?"
I felt someone take my hand, "We're all right here, Harry." Dad said, "All of us."
"The-the stone! What happened to Quirrell? Is Ron and Draco okay? What happened to Anna? Is she okay?"
"Calm down," Dad said soothingly, "You're a little behind, Son."
"Quirrell doesn't have the Stone." Dumbledore said
"What? Who has it? What about—"
"Calm yourself, Harry, or Madame Pomfrey will have us thrown out."
"Not bloody likely." Dad said
I took a deep breath and looked around. Anna, Ron and Draco all smiled at me.
"Hey bro." Anna said touching my forehead, "Boy am I glad to see you."
"It's good to see those green eyes, Bro." Draco said
"I'm glad you're alright Harry. We've all been worried." Ron said
My eyes briefly shot to the bed side table and the enormous amount of gifts and candy.
"We have fans." Anna said, "We gave you most of everything we got. We figured you needed the candy more."
"What happened between you and Professor Quirrell down in the dungeons is between you and Professor Quirrell…so naturally the whole school knows." Dumbledore said
I looked at Dad, "What happened to him?"
"He's dead." Dad said, "You and your sister are very strong and very brave. But if you ever do that again I'll lock you in the dungeons and keep you there forever."
Anna smiled, "You can try that Dad, but we have to go back to Aunt Petunia's remember?"
Dad looked at Dumbledore, "Only until I can come and get you, yes."
"Severus—"
"You listen here you old coot," He said firmly, "You took them away from me once, and bound my memories so I'd forget. You lied to them and forced them back into a home where they were abused. I will let them go back for the sake for your little protections spell but I will not leave them in a place where they are being harmed."
"And if you think about trying to make it so they are unable to leave, you will have me to deal with Albus." Minnie said
"And us as well." Uncle Lucius said firmly
Dumbledore looked around, "Very well." He said before he turned on his heels and left.
We all sat in silence for a minute before I spoke, "What happened to the stone?"
"The stone has been destroyed." Minnie said
"But what will happen to Flamel?"
"He and his wife are prepared to die. They are well prepared for it."
"How long have I been out?"
"Three days." Anna groaned sitting on the bed, "I've missed your stupid face."
I started to laugh, "I love you too, Anna."
"You have weird dreams by the way."
"What?"
"We'll explain it later." Dad said, "Let's just say you're sister is special."
Madame Pomfrey peeked around the curtain, "You have another visitor."
Dad nodded, "Send them in."
Mia and Neville rounded the curtain, followed by a sobbing Hagrid.
"It's-all-my-ruddy-fault!" he said, "I told the evil git how to get past Fluffly! It was the one thing he didn't know! And I told him! I coulda' gotten you killed! All for a dragon egg! I'll never drink again!"
"Hagrid." Anna said shocked, "Hagrid it's not your fault. You couldn't have known Voldemort was behind it."
"Don' say the name!" he said
"Fear of the name only increases fear of the thing itself." Dad said smiling.
"Oh Harry." Ron said, "We forgot to tell you!"
"What?"
"The House Cup!" Draco said
"We lost." Anna said, "I mean really were you guys expecting anything less? We did lose 150 points over a dragon."
"There was an actual dragon?" Minnie asked horrified
"Yeah," Ron said, "We sent it with a couple friend of my brothers to Romania."
She shook her head, "I'm going to go crazy."
Dad smirked, "Now you known how I feel."
"We have to get ready for the feast, Severus." Minnie said, "We must go."

The five of us sat at the table, feeling sad we didn't win the cup, but happy for the summer.
"Another year gone!" Dumbledore said cheerfully. "And I must trouble you with an old man's wheezing waffle before we sink our teeth into our delicious feast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller than they were... you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and empty before next year starts...
"Now, as I understand it, the house cup here needs awarding, and the points stand thus: In fourth place, Gryffindor, with three hundred and twelve points; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two; Ravenclaw has four hundred and twenty-six and Slytherin, four hundred and seventy- two."
A storm of cheering and stamping broke out from the Slytherin table. We could see Nott banging his goblet on the table. It was a sickening sight.
"Yes, Yes, well done, Slytherin," said Dumbledore. "However, recent events must be taken into account."
The room went very still. The Slytherins' smiles faded a little.
"Ahem," said Dumbledore. "I have a few last-minute points to dish out. Let me see. Yes...
"First - to Mr. Ronald Weasley and Mr. Draco Malfoy..."
Ron went purple in the face; he looked like a radish with a bad sunburn, while Draco buried his head against Anna.
"...for the best-played game of chess Hogwarts has seen in many years, I award Gryffindor house fifty points."
Gryffindor cheers nearly raised the bewitched ceiling; the stars overhead seemed to quiver. At last there was silence again.
"Second - to Miss Hermione Granger and Mr. Neville Longbottom... for the use of cool logic in the face of fire, I award Gryffindor house fifty points."
Hermione buried her face in her arms and I was pretty sure she had burst into tears. Gryffindors up and down the table were beside themselves - they were a hundred points up. "Third - to Mr. Harry Potter and Miss Anastasia Potter..." said Dumbledore. The room went deadly quiet, "for pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house seventy points."
Someone standing outside the Great Hall might well have thought some sort of explosion had taken place, so loud was the noise that erupted from the Gryffindor table. Nott looked horrified as the six of us were drowned in a mass of crimson colors and cheers.
"Which means," Dumbledore called over the storm of applause, for even Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were celebrating the downfall of Slytherin, "we need a little change of decoration."
He clapped his hands. In an instant, the green hangings became scarlet and the silver became gold; the huge Slytherin serpent vanished and a towering Gryffindor lion took its place.
As Harry and I packed up we thought about the past year and how much things were going to change now that we had Dad with us again. We weren't going to be subjected to a summer of Uncle Vernon and Dudley. We would be able to have fun, to be free.
I'd actually get to see my friends! The summer was something to look forward too for once.
And there we have it folks! This is the final chapter for year one, and I will be posting year two as a separate story. I will post when I have the next story up so you all can know. Major bonus points if you review on the next one and let me know if you've read year one! I hope to see you all over there!
P.S. the title for year 2 is in!
