Marcus stomped into Jack's bedroom. His digital watch glowed 1:46 in the dark room. He glared at the machine that looked just like the one that had charged him only a few months ago, except this one had another boy in it. He walked straight to the side of it and pressed a button. Jack gasped and released his hands.

"What was that for?" He growled.

"Stay away from my boyfriend" Marcus hissed, his eyes glowing green.

"What's your problem? I'm your brother, maybe you should start acting nice." He hissed back.

"Nice" Marcus chuckled darkly. "I'll consider being nice after you stop going after my boyfriend." Jack opened his mouth but Marcus continued. "Don't think I don't see the way you look at him.

You're constantly at his side like a little puppy."

"Maybe Chase shouldn't be dating such an ass" the other android spat. "He deserves someone better."

"And you think you're better" Marcus laughed, throwing his head up. "You're nothing but a prototype. Without me you wouldn't even be alive."

"And yet I saved YOU" Jack snarled. "You were week and I saved you. I might have come before you but you are nothing g compared to me."

"Maybe we should find out" Marcus growled, feeling a glitch coming on.

"Maybe we should." The walls of the dark room were now lit up by green and purple lights. Both boy's eyes were glowing brightly. Marcus lunged at his brother but was countered easily, being thrown against the machine. "You know what" Jack said. "You're not worth it."

"How dare you. You think you're so…" The door slammed open to reveal a very angry looking Chase.

"Marcus" he shouted. "What are you doing?" the androids hand clamped themselves into fists, his knuckles turning white.

"How can you not see that he's trying to steal you from me?" Marcus shouted back.

"He's not" Chase yelled.

"Wont you listen to me" Marcus hissed. "I don't trust him. He's sneaky and underhanded…"

"You don't trust him?" Chase shouted. "Or you don't trust me?" Marcus's face turned white. "Do you really think I like Jack" He said slowly. "Do you really think I'd leave you? Marcus I love you."

"And I love you that's why…"

"No" Chase stated. "I don't think I can do this anymore." The entire room went silent.

"What? Marcus whispered.

"I'm braking up with you" he said, his voice sad.

"But I thought you loved me?"

"I do." Chase said. "I love you more than life itself but I can't be with you if you're acting like this. For the past week we've fought every day. You can't get over the fact that me and Jack are friends."

"Please" Marcus whispered, a single tear falling from the corner of his eye. Chase's face turned as pale as his boyfriend's.

"If you won't trust me than I think we should take a break." Chase turned and left the room before anything else could be said.

"I'm sorry" Jack said lightly. "I didn't mean to…"

"SHUT UP" Marcus screamed. He followed Chase's lead, slamming the door behind him. He needed to get away from Jack before he did something rash. Chase returned to his room while Marcus entered the lab. He shuffled himself into a corner where he curled himself into a ball. This was horrible. Everything was going wrong. His mind spun with so many emotions. It wasn't until he heard Chase fall asleep that he allowed himself to cry. His face was expressionless, tears streaming down his face. It felt like the end. He'd never felt like this before. Chase had loved him. He'd been the only person to ever love him. He was alone again.

Hours passed and Marcus's eyes had run dry. He'd decided he needed to be alone. He couldn't wake up every day to see Chase, to see the disappointment in his eyes. Se he took a pen and paper and wrote a note.

Adam shook Chase violently to wake him up.

"What" chase shouted, his eyes crusty from his crying. He'd cryed through the entire night, even when he was asleep.

"Marcus is gone" Adam said. Chase jumped and pushed past him. This couldn't happen. Marcus couldn't be gone.

"He left a note" Adam called after him. When he entered the lab Bree stood in front of the computer holding a yellow sticky note. Her face was grave.

"Let me see" Chase cried, grabbing the note from her hands.

Dear Chace,

I want you to know I still love you. I'll always love you but I can't stay. I can't face you every day knowing we'll never be together again. I'll be safe, I promise. So please don't follow me Krane is still looking for you and its dangerous. Please stay safe.

Forever yours,

Marcus

Chase felt himself fall to his knees. Everything around him was fuzzy. He could barely hear his name being called.

"Chase" Adam yelled in shock. "Chase are you ok?" Chase shook his head. He couldn't believe Marcus was gone. He'd driven him away. This was his fault.

"Chase" Bree was saying.

"I'm going after him" Chase interrupted, standing straight up, a determined look in his eyes.

"Oh no you're not" a man's voice called. Everyone turned to see Douglas standing a few feet behind them.

"But Krane is out there…" Chase began.

"Exactly" the man said. "The moment you leave this compound you'll be in huge danger. Krane will come for you."

"That's why we need to get Marcus." Chase said louder. Douglas shook his head.

"I'm sorry but you're too valuable."

"I don't care what you want me to do" Chase shouted, his fear and sadness turning to anger. "I'm getting him back. Chase turned away and ran up the flight of stairs.

"No" Douglas shouted. Just as Chase placed his hand on the doorknob he was tackled.

"Get off me" Chase growled, wriggling under the older man. He'd been trained for this and yet the man had him pinned.

"I'm sorry. I truly am" Douglas said, surprisingly sincere. "But it's…" His voice stopped as a loud bang echoed through the bunker. Chase took his chance. He pushed the distracted man will all his might, flipping their positions. Douglas looked up shockingly at Chase's face.

"I'm…" Chase started.

"This place is soundproof" Douglas whispered after a second bang vibrated through the walls. Chase loosened his grip. On the third bang they felt the entire earth shake.

Chase jumped off his father/uncle just as the banging became creaking. The bunker shifted slightly, pushing itself higher in the earth.

"What's going on" Bree asked, hysteria edging her voice. The bunker shifted upwards again, this time hard enough to knock them all to the ground.

"Something's pulling us up" the man yelled. Everyone jumped when half the roof exploded, letting in the blinding light from the sun. They all covered their eyes. After weeks underground the sun stung their eyes. It gave the girl time to attack.

Unseen by the others a black haired, tan girl jumped through the hole, landing gracefully on her feet. Chase blinked as his eyes began to adjust. The girl charged with super speed but Chase was ready. He threw up a shield. She didn't stop, instead flipping in the air to kick off the blue forcefield. Adam grunted and exited the safe zone in a sprint. The girl laughed landing in a crouched position.

"So these are the great Davenports" she spat. Her eyes traveled across all of them, temporarily lingering on Chase. A tiny smile crept onto her face. "I suggest you give up now. If you surrender I promise to make your death less painful.

"Who are you" Bree shouted, also walking around the forcefield. The second girl just rolled her eyes.

"I'm not supposed to be talking so I'll just kill you" she said in an offhanded tone. She jumped again, this time aiming at Bree. Bree cartwheeled out of the way. She blocked a fist and then a second one. The danced around, fighting in super speed. Bree didn't think she would last long. It was one thing to watch the land while running but now she had to block blows and anticipate future attacks.

The girl twirled out of the way causing Bree to bang her head into the metal wall. Jake and Adam simultaneously shot their heat vison only to find it ricocheting off her hand and returning their way. Adam was blasted straight in the chest while Jack was hit in the shoulder.

"I'm bored" She moaned. She held up her hand and an energy field froze the two injured boys in place. "That should hold you" she grumbled. "I actually thought you would be a challenge. Mr. Krane said you were dangerous but appears he was wrong." Bree stood, shakily next to the wall. Her world was spinning. She'd rammed her head into the wall at ninety miles an hour. The new girl raised her hand casually at her target.

"No" Chase screamed, launching himself at the girl. She just chuckled and flipped over him. Chase whipped around blocking her attack. "Get away from her" he screamed.

"Chase" Adam shouted, squirming in the energy field. Chase ignored him, focused purely on the girl. His body shook as a ball of light hit him in the back. His eyes closed and he fell to the floor. Krane strolled casually into the room scowling down at the Unconscious boy.

"Don't touch him" Jack screamed, his bionic scream shattering the energy field around them. Jack fell to his knees gasping for breath. Krane rolled his eyes and held out his hand. Adam and Bree frozen in place, grabbing their chests as their lungs stopped working.

"A bionic scream" Krane chuckled. "Interesting. I'll have to make some upgrades" he said casually.

"Let them go" Jack gasped, getting to his feet. By this point he was on the edge of passing out. He'd used up too much energy. If he had just charged himself like he was supposed to, he wouldn't be in this situation. Krane smiled.

"So brave. It baffles me how such brave children can come from such a coward." Krane glanced at the two bodies now motionless. "You're a smart kid" he commented as he let the other two fall to the floor. "Join me. Join my army. Take the winning side." It was tempting. He could finally win. He could finally stop hiding. But it was wrong. If he'd learned anything from these kids it was that you never stopped fighting. You take on evil and never surrender. He needed to stop this man. He needed to do it for Adam, Bree, and Chase, even Marcus. It was time he truly did something good.

"Why should I trust you" Jack growled, glaring at the man who'd just killed his family. Krane smiled.

"I'm surprised. I'd tout you would put up a fight." Krane said, shifting into a less threatening stance. "But it appears you're not like the others. You're smart." Jack held himself back. He couldn't attack him, not yet. He couldn't take him and the girl.

"I just know who'll win, and these" he said gesturing to the other three, "Will not win."

"Then welcome aboard" The man laughed, walking up to android. They shook hands and Jack smiled.

"We can't trust him" S1 said calmly. "He's one of them."

"You can trust me" Jack growled. "I'm done with these people. They turned on me just like my father. I want to see them burn." He growled.

"Then you'll get you wish" Krane laughed. "S1 burn them down."

"Yes Mr. Krane" they walked up the stairs and into the light. Thirty seconds later the ground shook and fire blasted from the ground, inserting everything. He flinched back but when he opened his eyes he saw Krane calmly holding out his hand, a force field surrounding them.

"You got your wish" Krane said. Jack smiled. The girl walked up to them.

"It seems I was wrong about him" She said, staring at the maniacal smile on the boy's face.

Chase felt sick. The world was spinning even with his eyelids closed. He tried to open them but found himself unable. It was like his body wouldn't respond to him. He felt a bubble of fear begin to rise. He was trapped. Everything was dark and he couldn't even move. There was no sound, no nothing. He screamed internally trying to move something, anything at all. He didn't know at the same moment Bree was opening her eyes next to them.

Bree gasped, trying to jump from the bed. Wires prevented her from moving farther than two feet. Growling she ripped the sensors off her body, causing a loud beeping to fill the room. She did a 360 trying to get her bearings. The room was completely white, except for three silver hospital beds against one wall. Machines lined two walls. They looked like one of these things that you see in cheesy old movies, completely square boxes with the cassette tape things whirling behind glass, surrounded by blinking lights. They were pure white just like the walls, the lights blue and red.

"Adam! Chase!" she screamed running to the other beds. She began to rip the wires from their body when the door banged open. She turned and ran, tripping to the ground. She felt her body go stiff. She couldn't super speed. She couldn't run.

"Bree calm down" a voice yelled. She didn't listen. She could still fight, even without her bionics. She twirled on the floor kicking out the intruder's legs.

"Where are me" She shouted, jumping on top of the person. "Leo?" she gasped.

"Can't breathe" the familiar boy gasped.

"Oh sorry" Bree said, a little shocked. She stood up. "Leo what's going on" She growled. Leo took two steps back.

"Bree please calm down."

"I am calm" she hissed. "Just tell me where I am and what's going on."

"Bree's awake" Mr. Davenport shouted, rushing into the room. Tasha followed close behind, a pained look in her eyes. Bree's eyes turned angry.

"Oh thank God" Tasha gasped, pulling the girl into a hug. Bree hugged back but her arms were stiff, her body ready for a fight.

"What happened to us" She said calmly, looking directly at her father.

"There was an explosion." He said. "I received a signal of your GPS locations and I rushed over. I found you all passed out, rubble all around you.

"You couldn't have gotten our coordinates" he said more to herself than the man. "Chase made sure of that." The last thing she remembered was that man choking her without even touching her.

"Where's Jack!" she gasped whipping her head around the room. "Is he ok?"

"Who's Jack" Davenport asked.

"Marcus's brother." She said in a rush. "He was with us fighting Krane. He could be hurt."

"There was no one else there" Davenport told her. "I did a complete thermal scan."

"Then Krane has him" She growled.

"Bree…" Leo started.

"Wake them up" She shouted at her father, pointing to her brothers.

"They need rest" he said. "Their bodies have been through…"

"Wake them up or I will make you" she threatened. She didn't know what'd gotten into her. Sure she was angry at Mr. Davenport but she didn't think this angry. He was only acting this way because he cared.

"Fine" the man grunted. Tasha gave him a look.

"Where's Marcus?" Leo asked abruptly. They all turned to look at him. They'd all noticed the missing kid but no one wanted to point it out, at least not until Chase woke up.

"He's gone" She sighed. Tasha covered her mouth and gasped. "No" Bree rushed. "He left. He got in a fight with Chase and ran off." Her eyes turned dark and she stared at the floor. She didn't know if it was good or bad that Marcus wasn't there. He'd avoided Krane but if he was still looking Marcus could end up fighting alone. He wouldn't survive. She didn't even know how they'd survived.

The room was silent as Davenport removed the wires from his boys. He turned off the machines and glanced down. "They should wake up within half an hour. There's a room where you can wait just outside."

"I'm not leaving them" Bree said, scowling at the beds. "I'll explain everything to them." She turned to face Davenport directly. "Chase is not happy, so I suggest you don't cross him. I promise you I won't stop him if Spike comes out. You might have saved us but that doesn't mean we forgive you.

"Bree I didn't do anything to you" Davenport said, gesturing wildly with his hands. "I understand I made Chase angry but I didn't hurt you."

"Didn't do anything to me?" She scoffed. "Chase is my brother. We're a team. The moment you messed with him you messed with me. You drove us out of our home and onto the streets. We were hunted down by a madman and forced to hide with an evil man. You didn't see how you hurt Chase, how you hurt all of us. And you should know it was more than just us three you hurt. Marcus had to live with that horrible man again. You weren't there to hear the things said or see the tears. You drove this family apart and I don't know if I can ever forgive you." She was out of breath by the end, glaring with so much force she wouldn't be surprised if she shot heat vision.

Davenport sighed, frowning at his daughter "Bree I'm…"

"Don't you dare say I'm sorry" she growled. "I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." There was groaning from the other side of the room as Adam sat up in his bed.

"Mr. Davenport?" he asked, his voice cracking from sleep.

"Adam" Leo smiled, running to the bed. "What's up" he chuckled, trying to stop whatever argument was about to start.

"What's going on?" He asked, rubbing his eyes and looking around.

"Your safe and that's all that matters." Their father/uncle said.

"Bree where's Jack?"

"Don't know" she said, almost in a whisper.

"Then we have to find him" Adam shouted, getting out of bed, only to collapse onto his knees.

"You're not going anywhere" Davenport said sternly. "You don't even have your bionics. You won't have them for another twenty-four hours, not until your bodies are completely healed.

"Then we leave tomorrow morning" Bree stated in a tone that gave no room for argument. Mr. Davenport opened his mouth only to receive three glares, and one warning look from his wife. Everything grew quiet as Chase opened his eyes.
