Notice
It's funny the little things you notice about people that you normally overlook.
Right now, as they sat across from each other in a smoky café, Raven was noticing a lot.
They had come dressed as Elliot and Rachel. Raven had charmed her hair black, to attract less attention. They met to further plan out the steps they would have to go through, the things Raven would have to teach him, before he could be a hero. Raven was completely focused at first but as time passed, she became…distracted.
Currently Elliot was pouring over a set of question she had given him. It wasn't much really, just a series of 'what would you do in this situation' questions. Raven was using the opportunity to examine her friend.
She noticed how he frowned slightly as he concentrated, a fang poking out. She noticed she liked the way his shaggy black hair looked like it needed a trim but really didn't, how it masked his molten amber eyes that darted over her questions. She also noticed the angular features of his face, the cut of his jaw, cheekbones, reminding her he was older than he behaved.
Her eyes skimmed down to his torso and she blushed, recalling his shirtless form from the time they were locked in the tower together. His Kyd Wykkyd uniform really did not do him justice. As Elliot though, he was much more justified.
He looked up at her suddenly, startling her out of her thoughts. She noticed how his eyes held concern first, then twinkled with amusement.
Raven cleared her throat. "Are you done?" she asked.
Elliot nodded and handed the paper back to her with a smile. She noticed that he had dimples in both cheeks. They weren't too deep. They were the perfect size to fit her finger, she estimated. She forced her eyes away from him and focused on the paper. She absentmindedly noticed that he had good handwriting when he wasn't panicking.
"Good. I like the way you handled question three, opting to save the arsonist from the fire, knowing full well you might die, instead of joining your team." She noticed he had a good heart.
She put the paper down and turned to face him, forcing herself to look into his amber eyes.
"I think you might just be cut out for this." She said.
"Really?" his voice rang out in her head as she smiled at her excitedly, dimples flashing.
She noticed with a pang that she didn't really know the sound of his voice. The voice she normally heard in her head was just a voice. If asked to describe it, she probably wouldn't be able to. It was just there, in her head. She realized she really wanted to hear his voice.
"Really." She said with a small smile of her own.

Dear fans,
I have most of the chapters before Turning Point 2 (Chapter 50) planned out, but I could use some fillers. This quarter is supposed to deal with Elliot's transition into heroism. So if you have any specific ideas about the lessons Raven would give him, how he would relate with his teammates, how their relationship develops, and basically the ridiculous situations they get into, please don't be shy to post them in reviews or PMs.
