Quinn stepped out of her beat up red VW and automatically squinted against bright late May sunlight. She immediately noticed all the navy and crimson caps and gowns as she trudged across the grass, she smiled when she saw a familiar face.

"Hey Cooper, where's the man of the hour?"

Cooper simply rolled his eyes and pointed to his left where Blaine was clad in a navy cap and gown trying to keep a smile on his face as his mom took several pictures. "Being hounded by the paparazzi."

She laughed quietly as she walked up behind Blaine and looked at his mom while signaling for her to be quiet. She wrapped her arms around his waist.

"So my boyfriend's graduating today and I was wondering if you've seen him."

Blaine turned around with a wide grin on his face. "Hey babe."

"You look cute, very preppy."

Blaine chuckled and shoved her gently. "Shut up."

"You can tell me to shut up all you want but I beat you." She joked as she poked Blaine in the ribs. "I graduated first so ha!"

Blaine crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Well we can't all graduate the same day can we Ms. Yale?"

She cracked a smile and shook her head. "I guess not Mr. Columbia."

Blaine wrapped an arm around her waist. "I'm so ready to get out of this damn cap and gown."

Quinn smirked and whispered in his ear. "I'd be more than willing to take you out of it myself."

A visible blush creeped up Blaine's neck, matching all the crimson gowns around him. "Well I'm pretty sure I won't go to Columbia if I skip graduation to go make out with my girlfriend."

"He's right you know." Wes chuckled as he and some of the other graduating Warblers came up behind Blaine. "Hey guys."

"How do you guys manage to look dapper no matter what?"

Blaine shrugged. "It's a Warbler thing."

"Sorry to steal your man but if he wants to go to Columbia he has to go."

"Thank God, the faster I graduate the faster I get out of this cap and gown."

Quinn kissed him. "Don't forget to smile!"

"I won't, love you." he smiled pecking her lips.

"Love you too!"

Quinn smiled to herself as she watched Blaine walk away, compared to last summer when they had first met he'd come a long way.

"You guys are cute together." Cooper commented. "So Yale?"

The former Cheerio nodded. "Yep, for drama."

"Sweetie that's great, that's not too far from New York is it?" Emily asked as they made their way to their seats.

"Two and half hours, but we'll make it work." She said hopefully.

Greg, who had been quiet the whole time just stared at Quinn and thought about how happy she had made and how well she fit into their family. He opened to mouth to speak just was cut off when Dalton headmaster started to speak.

"Welcome graduates, family and friends, esteemed alumni and faculty members to Dalton Academy."

The aging man continued to speak, obviously not enthused about what was going to be a long ceremony in the hot sun. Blaine sighed and allowed himself to daydream until they started calling names.

"Tyler Adams."

Blaine's zipped his gown back up and adjusted his cap.

"Blaine Anderson."

The teen stood up and smiled when he heard Cooper's distinct whooping and the Warblers catcalls. He took his diploma and shook the headmaster's hand. He turned around and found Quinn beaming at him.

"So this is it?" Blaine sighed as he stood in front if the doors of the building where student registration was going on his last box sitting next to him.

Quinn nodded and took in the loud sounds of New York City where Blaine would be for the next for years. They had decided to drive together, first to New York to drop Blaine off before she'd continue on to Connecticut. Their parents had flown and would meet them.

"I told myself I wouldn't c-cry." She whispered meekly as tears stung her eyes. "I'm going to miss you."

Blaine pulled her close and kissed her head. "I'll miss you too. But hey I'm two and half hours away, every weekend okay? Just like St. Anne's."

The blonde shook her head and thought about those weekend visits where Blaine was still unstable. "Every weekend."

Blaine kissed her tenderly and pulled back. "I love you and it'll be okay I promise."

"I love you t-too."

He wiped her cheek with his thumb. "Call me okay?"

She nodded through her tears and hugged him tightly. "P-Promise we'll be okay?"

Blaine pulled back and stared into her eyes with all the seriousness he had. "When you left St. Anne's I promised myself if I got you back I wouldn't let you go. And I have every intention of keeping it."

"I love you s-so much Blaine."

"I love you too."

Blaine hugged her tight before opening her door. "Drive safe okay, let me know when you get there."

The Ivy League student nodded. "I will."

Blaine smirked. "Oh and Quinn?"

"Yeah?"

He stuck his head in her window. "No falling in love with any preppy Yale guys."

She exhaled. "Not possible."

Blaine waved and kept his eyes glued to the back of her red car until it blended in with all the yellow taxis. He ran his had through his hair, they would be okay, he just knew it.

"Blaine we're in an elevator for God's sake I don't think the blindfold is necessary." Quinn giggled as she groped around for her boyfriend's hand.

Two years had gone buy since the couple graduated from Columbia and Yale and they were now living in a tiny apartment in Brooklyn. Quinn, who had just turned 25, worked as an instructor at performing arts school and Blaine who was 24,was still getting his masters on music.

"Oh yes you do because we're at the top milady." He exclaimed in a fake British accent.

Quinn couldn't help but feel the excitement bubble inside of her as she felt the icy winds of late February hit her face. She felt Blaine untie her blindfold and she gasped as she took in the glittering views of Manhattan's skyline from the top of the Empire State Building.

"Blaine what's going on?"

He bit his lip and sighed. "Quinn Fabray, I meet you seven years when Dr. Tate forced us to each lunch together and my biggest concern was being a mistake, I probably should've been worried about if I looked okay because the girl I was sitting next to was totally out of my league. But for some reason you agreed to be my girlfriend I couldn't be happier. We've been through so much together and I can't believe it took me this long to get the guts to do this but I love you so much."

Quinn smiled back at her boyfriend. "I love you too."

The man bit his lip as he got down on one knee. "Lucy Quinn Fabray will you marry me?"

A small gasp escaped her lips as she stared at Blaine who's hazel eyes were shining almost as bright as the ring he held out. Tears leaked down her face as she nodded. "Yes."

Blaine slipped the band on her finger and kissed her. "I love you so much."

"I love you too."

***

Nerves filled Quinn's stomach as she stared anxiously at the door waiting for her her husband of a little more than 8 months to come through the door. She bit her lip as she stirred the sauce in the pot in the stove. She jumped when she felt arms wrap around her waist.

"You scared the shit out of me."

Blaine looked confused and kissed her lips. "What's wrong babe?"

She ran her hand down her face and sighed. "Do you love me?"

"Of course I do yeah." Blaine said quickly. "What's going on?"

The newlywed sighed. "I'm p-pregnant."

Blaine's face turned an unnatural shade of white. "W-What?"

"My d-doctor called today, I'm pregnant."

Blaine's face twisted into a huge grin. "Oh my God really?"

Quinn smiled now, seeing that he was happy. "Yeah, three weeks."

Blaine pulled her into his arms and kissed. "This is incredible. We're having a b-baby?" He stammered as his hand found her stomach.

Quinn nodded and kissed him. "Sure are."

"I love you." He sighed as he hugged we tightly. "I really do."

"Well I'd hope so."

Blaine pulled back and grinned mischievously. "I just hope our baby doesn't inherit your sarcasm."

She rolled her eyes. "On second thought maybe we should rethink this."

"Nope, you Quinn Anderson are 100 percent stuck with me."

"Well if I have to be stuck with someone," She groaned heavily "At least he's good looking."

"Just shut up kiss me." He laughed.

"Gladly."

"I hate you so much Blaine Anderson!" Quinn spat through gritted teeth as she clenched Blaine's hand.

Blaine shook his head and rubbed her back. "It's okay babe, just breathe."

She shut her eyes as she pushed with all her strength. "You s-suck."

He fought a small smile and kissed the top of her head. "You're doing good just keep going, almost there?" His eyes flocked nervously up to the nurse across from him. "Right?"

"Yep just one or two more good pushes."

"See Quinnie you're almost there." Her mom cooed holding her daughter's other hand.

Quinn exhaled as she got another contraction. "Okay Quinn really hard okay?"

Her eyes locked onto Blaine's for a second. "Babe?"

He pecked her lips. "Don't quit."

Quinn pushed once more with all her energy and strength. Her shoulders dropped and tears stung her eyes as the she heard wailing. Blaine's stomach dropped and he pulled Quinn into his arms.

"You did it baby." He whispered. "I'm so proud of you."

Blaine started crying as he looked down at the tiny little girl in Quinn's arms. Her green eyes were barely open and her features matched her mothers.

"Oh my God Blaine, she's perfect." Quinn whispered. "Hi baby."

"Can I h-hold her?"

Quinn carefully handed her off to him and he bit his lip. "Hey sweetheart I'm your d-daddy. I love you so much."

The newborn stared up at her dad and wrapped her hand around his finger. Blaine pressed his lips to her forehead and leaned his head against Quinn's.

"What's her name?"

Quinn smiled. "I was thinking Danielle, for your brother?"

Blaine's eyes widened. "R-Really?"

She nodded and took her baby into her arms. "How's that sound baby? Danielle Olivia Anderson."

The baby just stared at her mom, grabbing on one of her fingers.

"You're uncle Danny would've loved you so much." Blaine whispered as more tears came to his eyes. The fact that Quinn would name their daughter after someone so important to him was mind blowing. "Thank you."

The new mom smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Daddy will you me a book?"

Seven years had come and gone since Blaine and Quinn welcomed Danielle into the world. Shorty after their daughter's second birthday Quinn had given birth to Benjamin Levi Anderson in late October. The family had relocated to a bigger apartment in Manhattan, where Blaine had been working a music professor's aide at NYU for two years and Quinn was still teaching and acting.

"Daddy! Will you read me and Ben a book until mommy gets home?"

"In a m-minute baby!"

Blaine sat with his head in hands, he sat on his bed and took a few deep breaths. His borderline personality disorder had started becoming worse since his 31 first birthday a few months ago. He had started feeling suicidal again but never acted on it and had trouble coping. He had slowly stared getting more explosive, never towards Quinn or his kids but himself. Often he escaped to the gym a few blocks away and took it out on a punching bag late at night. But tonight he was watching Dani and Ben while Quinn was stuck in traffic on her way home, in other words he had no where to run. He rolled up his sleeves and stared at the faint raised white scars that crisscrossed his arms and stomach from that night 14 years ago. They could still be seen clearly on his arms.

"Daddy it's been three whole minutes I counted and everything! Come on!"

Blaine's head snapped up and he saw his daughter, who was a mini Quinn and his son who could've been his twin growing up, standing next to his staring at his scars.

"Daddy your arm." Ben wrinkled his nose in disgust and brushed his small fingers over the scars. "It's bumpy."

Blaine watched in horror as his kids touched his scars. He swore he could see the judgement light up their tiny features.

"Ew why's it like that daddy?"

The 31 year old felt his throat tighten. "It just is."

"Will you read to us! It's been a hundred gazillion minutes daddy!" Her voice was growing whiny.

Blaine just stared as his scars, it was 6:00Quinn would be home soon and he could leave.

"Daddy!"

His head whipped in her direction. She was pouting and the annoyance bubbled inside Blaine. "What have I told you about pouting Danielle! It's for babies!" He shouted.

"But I wanted you to read to us daddy. Just one little book?"

"Dammit Danielle just go to your room okay?" He yelled, causing his children to recoil.

"Daddy why are you mean?" Ben, who was very shy whispered. "Be nice.

Blaine fought to keep his emotions in check. "Go to your room! Jesus how hard is that to understand go to your rooms!"

Slowly the two Anderson children left their father alone, tears filling their green and hazel eyes. Blaine's chest heaved as guilt settled into his stomach, he had never yelled at Danielle and Ben. He had vowed to be a better dad than his own was to him growing up.

"Way to go Blaine, make your kids fucking cry." He muttered as he reached into his bed side table where he hid a razor which he hadn't touched since one really stressful night back in college. "Fucking mistake."

He pushed his sleeve up and drug the blade across the old scars. He winced but felt the immediate relaxing sensation wash over him, he cut a few for slits across his arms. He hissed out in pain as a few tears dropped into the wounds.

"Guys I'm home! I hope your hungry I brought everyone's favorite from the deli!" Quinn called out. "Dani, Ben, Blaine?"

Blaine shook his head in shame and didn't respond.

Quinn stepped into her daughter's room and saw her kids sitting on the floor. Danielle who never cried had tears in her eyes and Ben, her sensitive one was hiccuping from so much crying.

"What's wrong? Where's daddy?" She asked pulling them close.

"I asked him to r-read and he wouldn't answer so we went-ed into his room and he was sad."

Quinn felt nerves run through her, Blaine had been slowly getting worse and his meds were barely keeping him under control. Many nights he went to the gym. "W-why?"

"His arms where white and bumpy." Ben hiccuped as he buried his face in Quinn hair. "He told Dani to stop pouting and said a bad word."

Quinn instantly realized what Ben meant, they saw his scars. Blaine had tried to keep them hidden but as most 7 and 5 year olds were, hers were curious about everything. "Oh, daddy didn't mean it. Remember how mommy told you sometimes his brain acts funny and he gets emotional?"

They nodded, remembering how shortly after she found Blaine picking at his scars as crying she had explained to them that sometimes Blaine would get mad for no reason but that he still lived them very much.

"He's just upset, his brain his making him mad. Not at you guys though."

"Why's his arms funny?" Danielle asked softly.

Quinn sighed, biting her lip. "When daddy and I met we were at a hospital for people who's minds worked differently. I didn't like eating and daddy was always really mad and sad because of uncle Danny and grandpa."

"You didn't like eating?" Ben gasped. "Not even cake?"

"Not even cake. Anyways daddy was really mad at grandpa and he hurt himself. Those bumps are called scars like when you fell of your bike or when Dani tripped at the park."

"Do his scars make him sad?" Danielle questioned as she looked at the picture of her uncles Daniel and Cooper that her daddy hung in her room.

"Yeah, that's why he was mad. He loves you so very much and he needs you so his head feels better." Quinn wiped her eyes, before they noticed the tears building up. "I love you guys."

"I love you too mommy."

Quinn kissed them and stood up and opened the bedroom door. "Baby?"

Blaine looked up, his face was streaked with tears and he looked ashamed. "I fucked up Quinn. I was my dad."

"No you weren't, you know you're a good dad. They love you."

"They asked about my s-scars and I screamed at them. Over a damn book." Blaine sobbed and buried his face in his hands.

"Blaine! Shit, baby what did you do?" She questioned as she grabbed his arm. "You cut y-yourself?"

"I'm so s-sorry."

Quinn quickly threw the blade away and grabbed a wet wash clothes from their bathroom and cleaned his arm, there weren't too many cuts and she wrapped his arm.

"Dammit Blaine, you can't just leave me like that."

His heart hurt as he stared into Quinn's eyes. She looked scared and angry. "I wasn't trying to, I just- I needed too."

"I love you so much, you can't do this anymore."

Blaine sighed. "Do they think I'm crazy?"

Quinn smiled a little. "They think their daddy is the bravest man they've ever known and love him so much. They need you, I need you."

"I need you t-too. What if I'm not good enough for you?"

Quinn cupped his face. "You're perfect, you were good enough back at St. Anne's and you're good enough now."

"I'm just some crazy asshole who's below your league."

She shook her head. "No you're not. you're than guy I met when I was 17 and trusted me enough to love you. You're the father of my children and you're the love of my life."

"I love you so much Quinn." Blaine pressed his lips to hers. "I'm sorry, I really am, just don't give up on me."

"I couldn't if I tried." She rested her forehead against his. "You're the boy who finally put you're walls down and let me in. I could never give up on you."

Blaine pulled her into a hug. "Thank you."

Quinn sighed stared into Blaine's eyes. No matter how old they got whenever she looked into them all she would see was the love of her life. The boy in the orange hoodie at St. Anne's who swept her off her feet. All she would see was the boy who trusted her enough to let her into his life and made everything better. And for her that would always be enough.
