(A/N: Here's the next installment, we pick up right where we left off. Quite a lot happens in this chapter! The end is a doozy... you have been warned. Enjoy!")
"Germany"
He held her for the longest time until she stopped sobbing. Then he thought of something. "What made you want to tell me now?" She shrugged.
"I trust you and I love you, I don't want there to be any secrets between us." She looked him in the eyes as she said this and he felt kind of guilty. He still hadn't told her about Mellie yet. But her speaking to him tonight was giving him the courage to do it sooner rather than later. She cleared her throat before speaking up again. "Also I'm getting ready to start recording my second album." He eyed her curiously, wondering where she was going with this. "Cyrus and a few of the other executives think that I should work with Edison again." He looked at her eyes wide with shock. He didn't know how to feel about this?
They remained silent for a while. Each lost in their own thoughts. Considering everything she'd just told him about her past with that prick Edison; Fitz couldn't understand how she could possibly want to work with him again? He glanced over at her, and noticed that she looked highly uncomfortable with their present situation.
"Liv." he spoke softly. She looked over at him; eyes shining with fear. What was she afraid of? He thought to himself? "Do you want to work with Edison again?" he asked cautiously and in slight disbelief. Olivia sighed deeply before answering.
"You're going to think I'm crazy, but yes I do."
He looked at her feeling utterly confused and slightly angry. "What the fuck Liv? Why the hell would you want to work with that sick bastard again?"
She took a deep breath before speaking again. "Because regardless of our past Fitz; Edison is truly one of the best producers in the music business…" Fitz cut her off in disbelief.
"But he took advantage of you Liv! He's fucking scum! Edison Davis should be in jail!" shouted Fitz enraged. He got up from the bed with a angry huff. He shuffled around the room putting on his clothes. Olivia got up and put on her clothes as well, before speaking again.
"I was a willing adult when things went down between Edison and I. I knew what I was getting into," she responded calmly. Fitz stalked over to her quickly; his eyes wide with anger, as he held her gaze.
"Are you fucking kidding me! You were barely out of highschool Liv!" He scoffed. "I can't believe you're defending that sick asshole right now!" Olivia shook her head, taking a step closer to him.
"I'm not defending him but…" Fitz cut her off again.
"Sure as hell sounds like it!" he spat.
"Fitz look." She said holding up her hands, and backing away from him a bit. She was tired of arguing. "I'm not saying what he did wasn't wrong. It was fucking wrong okay!" she shouted a bit as well, feeling angry now too. "But I was in the wrong too. And if this was last year, or hell even a few months ago; I'd probably say hell no! But it's not. I'm not the same person I was back then. I'm in a better headspace now, and that's all because of you." His gaze softened a bit when she said this. "I can deal with working with Edison Davis if it means my next album will be better than my first. All I want to do is make good music." Fitz rolled his eyes and huffed again.
"And there's no one else you can make good music with Liv. You're a fucking superstar now. You can work with anybody you want," he said trying to reason with her. She shook her head again.
"If that were the case we wouldn't be having this conversation. Edison and I could never work together on a personal level, and I don't want us too. But professionally we click. That type of working relationship in this business doesn't come along every day, and I can't just ignore that."
Fitz huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. He shook his head, still in disbelief. He did not like what he was hearing one bit. He honestly couldn't believe that this asshole still had a job. He didn't want Edison anywhere near her. But he knew that this was her career she was talking about. And he didn't want to hinder it in any way.
"But Liv I don't trust that sleaze ball," he said feeling defeated. Olivia smiled at him and took both his large hands in her much smaller ones.
"You don't have to trust him babe; you just have to trust me when I say that I'm completely, and totally in love with you." He looked in her eyes and gave her a small smile. "Nobody's ever going to change that ok. Not Edison, not Mellie, not Adnan, not my mama," he snickered a little and her smile grew brighter. "Not anyone, it's me and you babe. We're in this together." She squeezed his hands lightly. "Do you trust me?" she asked hopefully. He nodded silently. He really did; but he also knew that the odds were truly against them.
"I do," he whispered.
"Good. Because I've trusted you with the most important thing in my life. My heart." She placed a hand on her chest as she said this. "You haven't let me down and I don't plan on letting you down either." He nodded in acceptance.
"Fine, but if he tries anything with you…" She cut him off, and took his face in both her hands.
"You'll be the first to know. I promise. Now can we get back in the bed?" she asked pouting adorably. He laughed. He knew that this wasn't the last time they'd need to disgust this, but he decided to let it go for now.
"Of course sweet baby." She pecked him on the lips quickly, and climbed back onto her side of the bed. He walked over to his side of the bed and pulled her into his arms. She settled her head on his chest.
"Now that the unpleasantness is out of the way, let's talk about something more exciting," she suggested.
"What's that?" he asked holding her tightly in his arms.
"Somebody's birthday is coming up in a couple of months," she joked. He smiled.
"I wonder who's," he joked as well, playing along. She sat up and looked at him.
"I wanna celebrate with you." He smirked at her and ran his hand along her thigh.
"I wanna celebrate with you too," he flirted, kissing her gently on her neck. She pushed him away, giggling as she did.
"I'm trying to be serious you silly man." He groaned playfully.
"Fine, what'd you have in mind?" he asked?
"Well my tour will be done on the first week of June. After it's over; I'll be doing press for a few weeks. Your birthday's in early July. Let's go on vacation together," she suggested. He sat up a bit and beamed at her.
"Really?" he asked happily? He knew she'd want to spend some time with him after her tour was over. She'd said so during one of their many phone conversations; but vacationing together was a whole other level.
She shrugged. "Yeah if you want too. I'm not going to start recording my next album until September at the earliest. That leaves all of July and August. We can go wherever we want," she leaned closer to him sitting up on her knees, and placed her hand on his chest. "Do whatever we want." Her voice was low and husky. He smirked at her.
"You're the only thing I wanna do." He whispered against her lips before claiming them with his own.
He gently pushed her back onto the bed as he climbed on top of her. They never broke their kiss. He deepened it; swiping his tongue across hers, tasting her. Then he began running his hands over her bare skin underneath her shirt. She moaned in his mouth. When they broke for air she panted slightly; as she struggled to catch her breath. He attempted to kiss her again, but she placed her hand on his chest, pushing him slightly as she stopped him.
"I really want to celebrate your birthday with you." She told him; knowing that he hadn't really done anything special to celebrate his birthday in a long time. "I want to give you something special." she said caressing his face gently, as she gazed into his eyes. He smiled at her lovingly, and whispered.
"You are my something special." She grinned at him, and this time when he kissed her; she didn't stop him.
Fitz and Olivia spent the rest of their week together before she had to get on a plane to England. Which was her next stop on the international part of her tour. So far she'd done two shows in Manchester and Newcastle. She was in London now, and it was near the middle of May. Germany would be the last country she'd visit to perform in, before her first international tour was finally over.
She'd done one show in London on Thursday night. But she was in such high demand that the vendors added another show for the weekend. Olivia was more than happy to perform for her fans. She still couldn't believe how successful she was, and she honestly wouldn't trade it for the world. She and a few of her backup dancers were at rehearsal to go over one particularly difficult move that had been added to one of her dance routines; when her mother came into the dance studio.
"Let's take five guys," she said, knowing that when her mother came in, it wasn't just to watch.
She and her mom hadn't really been speaking lately, unless it was business related. Her mother still didn't approve of her relationship with Fitz; and Maya let that fact be known through her silent treatment. Olivia could understand that her mother still had her reservations about Fitz. He wasn't a saint, no one was. But he made her happy. And her work ethic showed it.
Her album was certified double platinum. Her shows were all sold out. She was never late to a performance, her vocals were still amazing. She killed her dance routines every single show. She was writing new music all the time, thanks to him being her number one inspiration. She was literally on top of the game; personally and professionally. Olivia couldn't understand why her mother couldn't see that Fitz made her better. As a person and as an artist.
"Yeah take five everyone," her mother repeated as she came over to her. "I have to talk to my daughter." All the dancers nodded, and left out of the studio door one after the other. Once they were all gone Maya spoke.
"How's rehearsal's going?" Olivia took a sip from her water bottle before speaking.
"It's great. What's up?" she asked curiously, not wishing to waste anytime. She had a show to do in a few hours. Also if her mom was going to give her the silent treatment, just for being in love and happy, well then two could play that game. Maya's eyes narrowed to slits almost. She didn't like her daughter's attitude.
"You were a little shaky with that last move. You need to practice it more," she said smartly. Olivia fought the urge to roll her eyes, and crossed her arms instead.
"Noted," she responded harshly.
Maya glared at her, and Olivia glared at her too, not backing down. The tension in the room was thick as their staredown continued. Olivia sighed and broke her gaze first, not wanting to deal with this any longer.
"If there was nothing else you had to say…" she started but Maya cut her off.
"Your tour will be over soon."
Olivia nodded. "Yeah, I know."
"Cyrus spoke with you about doing some press. But Leo Bergen, you've heard of him right?" she asked? Olivia nodded again. That was Fitz's director friend she'd met at the Oscars earlier that year.
"I have."
"Well he's shooting a new movie this summer and he wants you to make a cameo. I think it's a good idea. It'll open you up to new demographics." Olivia took in this information, and silently agreed with her mother. She could be open to that, depending on the time frame.
"Sounds good, when does he want me to come and film?" she asked curiously?
"Well he starts shooting during the last week of June; but he wants you to film with him during the first week of July," she told her.
Olivia crossed her arms and shook her head. "I can't." Maya frowned at her.
"Why not?" she asked angrily.
"Fitz's birthday is during the first week of July. We already planned to vacation together that month." Maya scoffed.
"You can't be serious. Are you really considering passing up a great work opportunity to spend time with that...that boy!" she hissed.
"Maybe I can shoot with Leo during the last week of June. The tour will be over by then, and I should be done with all the press too." She responded; purposefully ignoring Maya's last statement. Maya shook her head angrily. She was about to protest, but Olivia didn't give her a chance too. "You're my manager right; you can make it happen." Maya waved her off.
"We'll talk about that later," said Maya dismissively. "There's something else I wanted to tell you." Olivia sighed feeling slightly irritated, what now? She thought, trying to calm her nerves.
"Ok what is it?"
"I spoke with Cyrus a while back about having another Enterprise artist coming on the last part of your tour with you."
Olivia looked at her angrily. "What? Why would you do that. I've been doing fine on my own."
"Because I'm your manager and I make things happen, remember," she retorted sarcastically, as she quoted Olivia's earlier statement. Olivia did roll her eyes this time. Maya was going to speak out about her behavior but Olivia cut her off.
"Who's the artist?" she asked raising an eyebrow?
"Jake Ballard."
Olivia frowned deeply. She hadn't told her mom or anyone about how Jake tried to grope her at the Grammy awards earlier this year, she was regretting that now.
"No! Why didn't you run this by me before making this decision about my tour?" Olivia asked feeling her blood boil at the thought of having to share the stage with that perverted asshole Jake Ballard. Maya raised a challenging eyebrow, and Olivia backed off a bit. "Cancel it. I don't want him on my tour."
Maya shrugged nonchalantly. "It's already done. He'll be joining you in Germany."
"But mom…" she started. Maya cut her off.
"He'll be joining you in Germany Olivia, and that's final! I don't want to hear anything else about it!" she spat, no longer leaving the conversation up for debate. Olivia huffed angrily, and Maya took a step closer to her daughter, calming her nerves as she did so. "Olivia I am your manager and I have your best interest at heart. Never forget that. Now I'm going to go, so you can get back to practice."
Maya left the studio without another word; and Olivia tried to get back into the groove of things. Her dancers came back in and started up practice again. But no matter how hard she tried to focus; she just couldn't shake this terrible notion in the pit of her stomach. Something was going to go wrong. She could feel it.
Finally after almost five long months on the set; Fitz was finally done filming the movie with Hollis and Mellie. To say he was happy about this being the end was an understatement. Shooting with Hollis and the rest of the crew was fine, but Mellie was such a fucking headache. They could've been done shooting weeks ago, but Mellie had to have things her way. If she didn't like a certain line in the script, she'd complain until it was changed to something she agreed with. If she didn't like a location she'd complain. He couldn't remember her being this much of a diva when they shot their first movie together.
Although she hadn't yet won an Oscar; Mellie was still a very popular actress in her own right. She'd been in a couple of blockbusters by the time she'd met Fitz during his stint on Broadway. She'd won Golden Globes, SAG awards, MTV movie awards, even an Emmy for a mini series she'd done while in between movies. She was really accomplished; but within the last two years after their breakup; the movie roll offers were slowing down. After seeing her be such a bitch on set; he could understand why. If her father Hollis weren't the director, he was sure she'd have been replaced by now. He'd heard rumors of her being a big pain in the ass on her latest movie sets. But he didn't know the reason for the shift in her attitude.
Fitz shrugged finding that he didn't really care. Especially since he didn't have to work with her anymore. He felt sorry for Hollis though. Even though Fitz was done filming Mellie still had a few weeks left before she'd wrap up. He chuckled to himself lightly as he thought of Hollis cursing to himself in that thick southern accent of his. He was going to miss that funny SOB. He'd already said his goodbyes to Hollis about thirty minutes ago. Before he left he wanted to thank the rest of the cast and crew for being so great during his time there. So he did; he took a couple of pictures with them as he said his goodbyes. He'd packed up his trailer yesterday and only had a few things with him now that he was ready to leave.
He walked out of his trailer and headed inside the studio and down the hallway to meet up with Charlie. He was ready to take some much needed time off. He was heading back to L.A. tomorrow. He wished he could stop in Germany and go see Olivia, but he was guest starring on an episode of Ellen in a few days. Then he'd be heading to New York City to guest host on The View and finally wrap his week up with a stint on Saturday Night Live. The life of a superstar actor was never boring. Still he couldn't wait until it was just him and his Livvie alone; not having to worry about work or anything else getting in the way of them spending time together.
He smiled to himself as he thought of this. Fitz walked up to Charlie ready to go, only to see that he was deeply engaged in a quiet conversation with Mellie. What the hell could they possibly have to talk about? He thought. Fitz continued walking up to Charlie and Mellie. Charlie looked up feeling someone coming his way. Once Charlie noticed Fitz approaching them he moved away from Mellie quickly. She looked over at Fitz her eyes narrowing as she did so. Fitz stopped in front of Charlie.
"Ready to go boss?" asked Charlie quickly. Fitz nodded, noticing a bit of awkwardness at his arrival. He'd speak to Charlie about it later though.
"Yep."
"Cool, I'll go get the car."
Charlie left in a bit of a hurry. Fitz was about to walk to the front doors of the film studio without another word, when Mellie said.
"So that's it huh? You're just going to leave without saying a word?" she asked angrily? Fitz took a deep breath, and turned to her.
"Have a nice life Mellie." He kept his voice neutral, then he started to walk off again.
"Seriously Fitz!" she yelled angrily. Fitz rolled his eyes, feeling irritated. If one thing was for sure, Mellie would always know how to push his buttons the wrong way.
He turned to her swiftly, glaring at her."What the fuck do you want me to say Mellie!" he hissed. She snarled at him.
"After everything that we've been through all you have to say is, have a nice life?" she threw up her hands in frustration. "You've barely said two words to me these past five months, if we weren't shooting. After all this time, I can't believe that you still carry this petty grudge towards me!" Fitz shook his head and laughed humorlessly.
"Petty grudge? You can't be fucking serious Mellie! This was never a petty grudge!" He glowered at her. "What I feel towards you…" he shook his head trying to clear his jumbled thoughts. "You lied to me! You fucking betrayed me! I thought...I thought you were the one! I had no one...you damn well know that! I've never had a real family! You said that you would be my family... that you'd be there for me, and then you go and fucking get ri…"
"You can't put this all on me!" she screeched cutting him off. "You weren't there when I needed you either! You were cold and closed off! You wouldn't talk to me! What did you expect me to do! I couldn't just bring a..." Fitz held up a hand halting whatever she had to say.
"It doesn't fucking matter. What's done is done. And I'm past done with you. We don't need to talk. There's nothing left to disgust." He went to walk past her when she said.
"You can't just dismiss me like I'm nothing, and expect to get away with it!" He turned to face her but did not make any movements towards her.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"You think you're so fucking perfect! With your perfect little award and your perfect little girlfriend. I'm coming for you...And I can't wait to see the look on your face when your perfect little life crumble before your very eyes." Fitz rolled his eyes, tired of playing this stupid game with her. He had a million other places he'd rather be.
"You've become quite miserable in your old age." She scoffed at him, eyes blazing with fire. She was only three years older than him got dammit! "Have a nice life Mellie. I hope I never have to see you again." He walked on past her without another word. She scowled at him, and shook her head. She almost lost everything when they broke up, and soon he'd see what it feels like to lose everything too.
Olivia was in Berlin Germany, getting ready to perform the last concert on her tour. She'd done five other concerts in the country so far with her "special guest" Jake Ballard joining her. So far he hadn't done anything out of the ordinary. He'd been very polite to her and her crew. He showed up on time for rehearsals, and performances. He hadn't tried anything else with her either. But he gave her this weird look sometimes. It was as if the thought wasn't far from his mind. That look he would give her, made her feel cheap and dirty. She just couldn't wait for this to be over. And it was such a shame. Berlin was such a beautiful city. She was touring, performing and meeting her fans. Doing things a few years ago, she could only dream of. She should be the happiest person in the world. Not miserable like she was.
When she told Fitz about her mother's last minute addition to the end of her tour, he was ready to hop on a flight that second and set Jake Ballard straight; prior engagements be damned. But she calmed him down and assured him, that she could handle him herself, if the need arose. She smiled as she thought about him. He was her ray of sunshine in all this mess. Her mother was still upset at the fact that she'd rather spend time with him than do the cameo in that movie. Though she didn't suspect her mother actually called Leo to see if he could fit her in during the last week of June like she'd asked. Her mom had been accompanying her on the tour as well. She tried to get Olivia to have a working dinner with Jake the night before, but Olivia declined feigning cramps. She couldn't stand to spend any more time with him than she already had too.
Olivia had just finished up her pre-concert speech to her crew. Thanking them for a great tour, expressing how grateful she was to have each and everyone along for the ride. And how she hoped that she could have all of them come back to join her on the next tour. They all cheered and thanked her as well. Then one of her lead dancers lead them all in prayer. Once he finished they all got pumped up to have a great show. She was getting ready to go on stage when she heard a voice behind her, that made a cold shiver go down her spine.
"Break a leg Liv."
She turned around and saw Jake Ballard dressed for his performance. "Thanks," she mumbled. He nodded.
"See you out there gorgeous," he winked at her, and it made her want to throw up. Then he smirked at her, and licked his lips before walking off. Ugh. She thought. She wondered if he would still have as many fans if they knew how gross he was. She took a deep breath and put on her performance face. It was time to put on a show. She could survive this last one with him.
"To a great show and to Liv for putting on the greatest tour ever!" said Quinn holding her glass in the air. Olivia laughed and smiled as all of her dancers and other crew members that came out with them joined in the toast.
The last concert went off without a hitch. Everyone hit their marks. Her voice sounded incredible. Even Jake with his creepy ass gave a great performance. She was quite happy with how successful her last show had gone. And she had all of these people who were here with her right now to thank for it.
"Thanks Quinn, and all of you really. But I couldn't have done this without any of you. So drink up people; everything's on me tonight!"
They all cheered loudly after she said this, and Olivia laughed again. She had decided to rent out a few large VIP spots at a popular nightclub in Berlin for those that wanted to come out, and celebrate the end of the tour, with her tonight. Everyone on her team worked so hard, making her shows look spectacular. She was so appreciative to them. She just wanted to give them a small token of her gratitude. A night out was just what they all needed. Even Huck had joined them, though he was standing guard with the bouncer at their VIP rope.
"So what are you gonna do now that your tour is over?" asked Quinn taking a sip of her cocktail. Olivia smiled and took a sip from hers before responding.
"Have fun?" she shrugged. Quinn laughed.
"Well you deserve too. You've worked so hard Liv, you're in for some much needed time off." Olivia nodded.
"You're telling me." Quinn finished off her drink before asking?
"So where are you and Fitz gonna go on vacation?" Olivia got a dreamy look in her eyes as she began to speak about the man she loved.
"He's never to been to Spain, neither have I; so I was thinking, we'd do a few weeks in Ibiza. I know he wants to go Miami. He has a beach house there and a nice sail boat that he won't shut up about," she joked. Quinn chuckled.
"Well I'm sure that you'll have fun whatever you guys decide to do."
Olivia smiled to herself. They were going to have fun; a lot of fun of the adult variety if she had anything to say about it. And she could hardly wait.
"Come on let's dance!" shouted Quinn feeling quite tipsy. She got up and started dancing. Olivia laughed at her drunken friend; then she finished her drink and joined her dancing along to the music.
About an hour had gone by and everyone was still enjoying themselves. Drinks were flowing, the music was good and they'd even ordered some hookah. Everyone was having a good time. They were all taking a break from dancing, and were now disgusting how they were going to spend their time off. Olivia was only on her third cocktail, while Quinn was likely on her fifth. Olivia didn't mind though.
She wanted everyone to have a good time. Quinn included. She was honestly thinking about wrapping it up soon so that she could go and facetime Fitz before she went to sleep. Quinn had talked her into doing a shot of tequila. She took the shot and she and Quinn laughed as one of the backup dancers struggled to finish hers. She was about to ask if the girl was okay when a voice cut across her.
"Any left for me?" asked Jake as he and some of his entourage approached her table. Olivia couldn't hide the look of disdain on her face as he got closer to her table. How the hell did he know she was here? Before she could answer him Quinn spoke up loudly.
"Hell yeah. Join us," she offered.
Jake's entourage high-fived each other. Jake gave Olivia a cocky smile, before winking at her. She looked away from him quickly, now ready more than ever to leave. Jake and his friends ordered more bottles to the table. Jake took a seat across from her and gave her what he thought was a sexy smile. She scoffed at him, and he smiled at her and blew her a kiss. Then he joined his friends in drinking heavily, after the bottles arrived.
Olivia shook her head in disgust. She needed to get out of here now! She leaned over to Quinn who was enjoying another drink and said. "I think I'm going to head out soon." Quinn pouted at her.
"Already Liv. We're all having so much fun. And Jake just got here," said Quinn motioning over to Jake. He and his friends were chugging from bottles and flirting with some of her backup dancers. Olivia looked over at them frowning.
"Yeah, I'm going to head to the bathroom, and then I'm out of here," she told her. Quinn sighed heavily.
"Aww, ok, did you want me to come with you to the bathroom?" she asked thoughtfully? Olivia shook her head.
"Naw enjoy yourself. I'll come back and say bye before I leave," she promised. Quinn nodded and gave her a small smile.
"Okay."
Olivia patted Quinn's leg and smiled at her before leaving their VIP table to go use the restroom. She never noticed the eyes on her with the dark gaze, watching her every move as she did so.
She washed her hands after she finished using the facilities. Then she walked out of the restroom intent on heading back to the table to say goodbye to everyone before she left. She'd have Huck escort her back to the hotel. Then he could have the rest of the night off and hopefully enjoy himself for once. Before she could get far, she felt someone tugging on her arm from behind. She turned to see who it was and felt her heart fall to her stomach, as fear gripped her whole body.
"Leaving so soon gorgeous. We didn't even get to dance," said Jake looking her up and down. He had hungry look in his eyes that gave her the absolute chills. She tried to get her arm loose, but she could feel him tightening his grip.
"Let me go Jake!" she hissed. He smirked at her.
"Come on Liv, not even one dance. Is that anyway to treat your guest?" he said holding onto her still.
"Let me go you fucking creep!" she screamed angrily. She twisted her arm; trying to pull away from him. He smiled at her sinsterly, shaking his head, mocking her almost.
The music was so loud in the club; and the area where the bathroom was located was pretty deserted seeing as it was a private bathroom made strictly for the VIP section. She wasn't sure anyone could hear her. Suddenly the seriousness of the situation began to dawn on her. She needed to get away from him right now!
He shook his head and smiled. "No dance? Well how about a kiss then?"
Before she could blink; he pulled her body flush against his. He wrapped one arm around her waist, and held down her arm with the other. He tried to get his lips on hers, but she turned her head too quickly for him.
"Get off of me!" she yelled pushing against his chest with her free hand; trying to pull away from him. He was too strong though. They were so close, that her cries of protest were muffled. He laughed at her, trying to kiss her still.
"Come on Olivia, one little kiss…" She almost gagged, as she could smell the liquor on his breath. "I bet you I kiss better than your little boyfriend," he taunted.
Fitz! She thought, wishing that he were here right now. Through her anger and fear, she remembered a move Fitz taught her when they were together. It was to help get away from a possible attacker. The move was used against him by a female character in an action move he'd shot last year. She tried to calm her nerves, she needed him to believe that he still had the upper hand if she wanted this to work.
She moved her face towards his slightly and he leaned back in surprise. That gave her just enough room to wiggle loose a bit and stomp down hard on his foot. He groaned out in pain, backing away from her a bit, but he still didn't let her waist go. He backed away just enough for her to be able to knee him hard in the balls. He let her go completely as he fell back a bit, doubling over in pain.
"You stupid bitch!" he cursed at her grabbing himself. Huck ran up to her just in time to see this.
"Liv are you ok?" he asked putting himself between the two of them.
Olivia was literally shaking with anger, she felt her fingers trembling and her heart slamming into her chest painfully. All the anxiety of her altercation with Jake finally caught up to her. But she was happy that she got away from him. Who knows what could've happened if she didn't. She nodded to Huck silently, before turning her attention back over to Jake. He was still leaning up against the wall; bent over groaning in pain.
"My boyfriend's ten times the man you'll ever be you pathetic piece of shit! Don't you ever come near me again!" She spat, then she walked over to him and punched him in the nose. He fell to the ground, holding his balls in one hand and his nose in the other, as it started to bleed.
"Let's go." she told Huck.
She walked past him, back towards her VIP section without so much as another glance in Jake's direction. Huck watched her go; then he turned his attention to Jake, glaring at him furiously. He didn't see everything, but what he had seen left a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. He knew he should've followed Olivia to the bathroom, but she insisted on him keeping his distance and having some fun. That was a mistake he would never make again. Jake was trying to get up off the floor. It looked like he wanted to go after Olivia. Huck stood in his way, without uttering one word he punched Jake in the face hard, knocking him out cold. Jake fell to floor unconscious, with a loud thud. He shook his hand, and turned to follow Olivia out to the VIP section.
After her blowup with Jake. Olivia went back to her hotel room and packed furiously. She was set on getting to the airport and heading straight to L.A. to meet with the executives about that piss ant Jake Ballard. She chartered a private plane and was on the tarmac now getting ready to board when her phone began ringing. She was so angry that she didn't want to talk to anyone right now. But when she saw who was calling, she answered right away.
"Fitz," she whispered hoarsely.
Fitz had just called to say goodnight, but instantly became worried by the tone of her voice. It sounded like she'd been crying.
"Livvie...baby what's wrong." Olivia sighed sadly; he knew her too well. She took a deep breath, attempting to calm her nerves, as she tried to give Fitz a brief rundown of what happened earlier between her and Jake.
"He did what! That fucking prick. I'm gonna kill him!" yelled Fitz in outrage. He got out of his bed, and began putting on his clothes. "I'm coming to Germany right fucking now!" He began throwing on some clothes. He put her on speaker so that he could text his manager Andrew, to get him a flight quickly.
"No babe, please don't bother. I'm on my way back to L.A. right now. I called Cyrus a little while ago and set up a meeting at Enterprise tomorrow to speak to all of the executives about his inappropriate behavior," she told him as she boarded the plane. "Babe I have to go, I'm on the plane now and we're getting ready to take off. I love you.
"I love you too babe," he said softly. "Call me as soon as you land." She nodded.
"I will."
They hung up the phone, and he paced angrily. He walked over and stopped in front of a wall in his bedroom. He was upset and frustrated that he couldn't do anything to help Olivia. He huffed, feeling enraged, but more so he felt powerless. He stared at the wall for a long time feeling all his emotions hit him at once, and there was nothing he could do about it. He was mad, and he didn't have anything to take his anger out on. Fitz balled up his fist, and punched a hole in the wall. His knuckles started bleeding, and his hand bruised quickly; as it began to swell. He didn't even feel it. All he could see was red! When he got his hands on Jake Ballard, heaven help him!
