Thank you everyone for supporting this story until the end. It would not have been possible for me to complete this story without all of your support! There have been times when I think I should've abandon this story (especially when Sting suddenly disappeared from the manga) but your support pull me through!
I slowly dragged my incredibly large and heavy bag towards the bus whilst the ever-annoying president continued to pester me about not having the perseverance to be responsible for one's property.
"Quicker! Quicker! You should not have brought a bag so large!" The president yelled as I gritted my teeth in annoyance.
"You should have brought a smaller bag. You should've known that there would be no maids or servants here!" The president continued.
"Will you shut up already? It's not a crime that I brought a large luggage with me! I even kept quiet when you stared at my chest so you should keep quiet about my bag as well!" I screamed at him, annoyed by his words. The president immediately developed a full-blown blush and he quickly fled the scene by running on to the coach.
Serves him right!
"Gray! Help me?" I wailed as I looked at Gray with my puppy eyes. He chuckled before he walked towards me, taking my bag without further complaint.
"You can wait on the car if you want." He offered.
"Thank you!" I grinned and walked up the coach, taking an unoccupied seat at the back. On my way to my seat, I passed Minerva who shivered at my gaze even though I have forgiven her actions.
Gray and Gajeel walked up the coach and took the seats in front of me. Sting soon walked towards me and placed his bag on a seat next to mine.
"Aren't you going to sit with your girlfriend?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows.
"Huh? Aren't you my girlfriend?"
"When was I ever your girlfriend?" I retorted.
"Hmmm. When was it…?" He mumbled playfully as he sat down next to me. I smiled at his antics but decided to keep quiet and enjoy the view through the windows.
"Did you slap Minerva yesterday?"
"What? Who told you?"
"No one, just the rumors going around."
"Well to answer your question, yes, I slapped her. Why?"
"Nothing, she had it coming."
"You're horrible. Minerva's dream would probably shatter if she had heard you." I giggled as I took a bottle of water that Gajeel passed for me.
Sting rustled his bag before he pulled out his red digital camera. I moved my eyes towards the camera in interest, regretting that I had forgotten to bring one myself.
"It's rude to peek you know?" Sting chided as he moved the camera away from my sight.
"Well I forgot to bring a camera, can't I just see yours?"
"Ha! That's too bad. You should've brought a camera to trip like these." He taunted.
"Give it to me right now!" I threatened as I moved my hands towards the red gadget. However, it was a failed attempt as he used he long arms to keep the camera away from my grasp.
"Sting!"
"What…" As he turned his face around, I snatched his face and pressed my lips to his and he returned the kiss without any confusion or shock.
"Whoa! What's happening back there?" Gray shouted playfully and Gajeel joined him.
I ignored their shouts and took the opportunity and snatched Sting's camera whilst he was in a kissing bliss.
"Hey! That's cheating!" He complained.
"Not my fault that you're dumb enough to be mesmerized by my kiss." I shrugged before I focused my attention on the camera.
"You're so whipped." Gray joked.
"I want to be whipped as well." Gajeel said, looking like a child who craves candy. The three of them soon got into a small argument about topics that I don't really understand. Not that I care as my attention was mostly focused on the camera.
I slowly moved from one picture to another. It was mostly pictures of our daily lives on the mountain but somehow I was in most of them. Hmm, when did he take pictures of me anyway? I turned to Sting who moved his hands to his mouth the moment he met my gaze as if he had done something wrong.
"Mental." I muttered as I moved to another picture and another… and another. I soon realized that the whole album seemed to be a moving image of me. There were pictures of me moving books, pictures of me drinking and even pictures of me swiping off the sweat off my face.
"Sting… That so ewww!" Gajeel said as he saw the pictures that I was looking through.
"Shut it!" Sting shouted at his friend as he pushed Gajeel back into his seat. However, the two of them refused to remain seating.
"You're acting like a stalker." Gray chided.
"I think Lucy's in every picture of that camera."
""Who'd have known that you could be so gross?" The two continued.
"Well Sting, it looks like you fell incredibly hard for me"
Wooh! Wooh Gray and Gajeel.
"Hmmp. It's you who fell for me." Sting refused to give in and smiled infuriatingly at me.
"What are you talking about? It's not me who'd acted like a stalker and took so many pictures." I said, lifting the red camera to his face causing him to blush furiously.
" Well I…I-I-I… Y-You fell for me as well didn't you?"
"…" My reply was simply a mischievous smile, leaving him to his thoughts. Sting huffed and moved his face closer to mine. I tried moving back, but was stuck by the car's wall.
We were engaged in a staring contest. I stared at him and he stared at me. Our gaze held on to one a another for a while before we moved our face closer until my lips brushed against his once more but…
"No." I said, turning my face away from him.
"W-What?" Sting asked confusedly.
"I won't kiss you ever again until you admit that you love me."
"Y-You're joking right?" He stuttered
"Do I look like I'm joking?"
"So you're serious about this?"
"I am." I said, giving him a 'no-joke' look.
"Ooh, you only have to say those three words and those soft and luscious lips are yours. If I were you I would say it." Gajeel chided. I crossed my arms and gave Sting, who seemed to be muttering incomprehensibly a severe look.
"Why don't you tell me the reasons to why I would fall for you?" Sting retorted.
"One, you took pictures of me. Two, you kissed me repeatedly many times. Three, you told Erza that you don't like her anymore."
"What? You fell for flat-chested Erza?" Gajeel shouted in shock but Sting gave him a stern look to say 'not now.'
"And four, you must know that there are very few men who could resist my charms."
"Hmmp." He snorted before he said. "Is this all of your reasons?"
"Hey! I think those four reasons are more than enough for you to admit you feelings for me, so if you love me then tell me already so we can move to kissing." I complained in annoyance, seriously, arrogant blondes.
"Fine. I love you."
"Wasn't hard now was it?" I said as I grabbed his collar and rewarded him with a kiss to his lips. I cradled his face whilst his arms tightly embraced my body. It was by no means a soft kiss as the coach seemed to be drifting and bouncing here and there but it was still incredibly… romantic.
Suddenly the car braked loudly, sending Sting and I crashing towards the seat before us. I slowly opened my eyes to find the bags on the coach lying on the floor in disarray. My head would've crashed onto the window if it weren't for Sting who used his arms to block me from the impact.
"Are you alright?" Sting asked worriedly.
"…." His ever annoying face, his brown eyes that look so arrogant yet still hide a unbelievably romantic side.
"Hey! Did you hurt your head?"
"…." He's short tempered, he complains a lot and he's incredibly rude. He plays too much sport that he smells of sweat.
"Hey! You're scaring me."
"…." His rude mouth that says the most horrible things yet gave the softest kiss, the softest touch that I've ever felt.
"Lucy…"
"I love you!"
"…!" His eyes widened in confusion at my confession before he started laughing.
"I know. For a while now actually." And his lips softly descended to touch mine once more.
Everyone seemed to be recovering from the sudden brake from the driver yet Sting and I continued our kiss in our little corner, ignoring all that's happening around us, continuously exchanging sweet soft kisses. Many eyes turned towards us and many started gasping but it did not affect us at all.
At this moment, he's the only one that mattered in my world and I'm the only one mattered in his. What more do we need?
The END
