Paul's alarm went off too quickly for his sanity on Saturday morning because he had had such a late night on Friday night but when he thought about what he had to look forward after work the morning didn't seem so bad after all. Rolling out of bed and heading into the bathroom he attempted to be as quiet as possible so he didn't wake up the two people that would have horrendous headaches.

After he showered he made himself a quick breakfast and silently ate it before he dumped the dishes into the sink and grabbed his gym bag before he left for work quietly shutting the front door behind him.

Walking into work he had a spring in his step as he thought about going home and having a long conversation with Stephanie, his only hope was that they didn't talk about her boyfriend because that wouldn't be so fun.

Throwing himself into his work he knew that the sooner he did this the sooner he would get to go home.

Waking up in her boyfriend's arm was so nice for Rebecca, it made a nice change and she didn't want to move from this place. Rolling over she reached for her bag that was on the night stand and pulled out her phone checking to see if she had any messages and when she saw the one from Stephanie she smiled softly and quickly replied to her:

It's not a problem. Of course I still want something to do with you, he's not going to scare me off & now you have my number u can ring or text me whenever u want.

Stephanie was having a lazy morning in bed and wasn't planning to move until close to lunchtime unless she could help it as she had earned the relaxation time in her opinion. Hearing her phone beep she rolled over and grabbed it before she carefully sat up and read it. Reading the text she couldn't believe that Rebecca was being so kind to her and to her she didn't deserve it:

Thank you for being so understanding, you are truly an amazing person and Shawn is lucky to have you.

Rebecca blushed when she got Stephanie's reply as she didn't think she had done anything special:

I don't think I am but I like you and it's always nice to have another woman around dealing with Shawn and Paul.

Giggling as she got Rebecca's reply she was so glad she wasn't the only one who found dealing with Paul to be hard work:

It's always fun getting to boss Paul around so having two of them is going to be more fun. I'm really looking forward to our night out this week, it should be fun.

Rebecca jumped when Shawn slipped his arms around her waist, "good morning."

Slapping his arm gently she turned her head to glare at him, "did you have to do that? I'm just texting Steph a minute so just sit quietly."

It's going to be a lot of fun, it will be nice to just go out and relax and have good food and good company. Is Paul picking you up?

Feeling a bit of pressure Stephanie didn't know what to say really:

I told him I'd make my own way there, I'm not an invalid.

Reading Stephanie's reply Rebecca felt like she was taking it the wrong way:

I didn't mean to make you think that I thought you were an invalid because it's not the case. I asked because I was going to offer to give you a lift as I'm driving.

Moving out of bed to get herself a cup of coffee to go back into bed with she was halfway down the stairs when Rebecca replied and when she read it she felt really bad for it:

I'm so sorry. I am a little sensitive after last weekend and I snapped at you. Please don't take it personally.

When she received the text from Stephanie Rebecca immediately showed it to Shawn, "we have a small problem."

Reading the text as it was offered to him Shawn did not understand where she was coming from, "because she jumped to conclusions? That makes no fucking sense Rebecca."

Shaking her head she was disappointed that he didn't get it, "no I don't mean that. What I meant is that she admitted to being sensitive and that she snapped and although it may not indicate anything in particular it could indicate that it's starting to take a mental toll on her."

Now understanding where his girlfriend was coming from he frowned, "do we need to warn Paul of this?"

Shrugging her shoulders she didn't know, "I kind of think we should, just so he doesn't put his foot in it."

Grumbling Shawn grabbed his phone and sent Paul a quick text:

We need to quickly talk when you get home. It's not serious so don't panic.

Throwing his phone back onto the night stand he collapsed back on the bed and just stared at the ceiling.

Waiting until Shawn had sent the text to Paul Rebecca had eventually thought of how to respond to her:

I haven't taken it personally & I wouldn't take it personally because u weren't really rude. If u want me to give you a lift then let me know. If not, not a problem.

Satisfied with the response she had sent to Stephanie she lay back down and cuddled into her boyfriend content to just lay there with him.

Making herself a cup of coffee Stephanie went back upstairs and crawled back into bed looking forward to spending the rest of the morning in bed and doing nothing. When she got Rebecca's reply she smiled softly, Shawn truly had a diamond in her opinion.

Paul was taking a quick drink break at work and checked his phone frowning when he saw Shawn's text, what exactly did they need to talk about and why shouldn't he panic? He hoped for Shawn's sake that it was something and not nothing because despite being told not to panic it was hard not to think the worst. Throwing his phone back into his bag he headed back out to the gym to get back to work.
