Jeff's P.O.V
Chapter 26:
Clockwork unwrapped herself, hastily from my body. I let out an uncomfortable sigh. "Jeez, what's her problem?" She asked, playfully raising an eyebrow, I grinned. "She's a strange one that Alice" I replied wearily, Clockwork chuckled then she replied, "Well, awesome seeing you, but I should go say hi to the other's" She tucked a tuft of hair her long, brown hair behind her ear. The brown hair reminded me of Alice's, except where Clockwork's was thick and long. Alice's hair was straight and sleek, her hair was graceful. Clockwork wrapped her arms around me, "I'll be seeing you soon Jeff" she whispered in my ear, I could feel the smile spread across her sewed cheeks before she pulled away and left.
I sighed, I hadn't seen Clockwork in a year, admittedly I did miss her. She had a wild adventure and taste for the world that I found alluring about her, but lately she would be visiting less and less. Slendy was growing very suspicious of her, I remembered how he used to interrogate me and pester me about her, at that stage her and I used to be closer. Lazily I slumped onto my bed, Clockwork was very sacred to me. I grinned as I remembered how she helped me, how she coached me through life. Every moment she was right there with me, "I guess I got close to loving someone again..." I whispered to myself, we can not love Jeff...Only kill, only feed. Thats all we are. Shaking my head I frowned, Clockwork and I's friendship was still strong, but we had drifted apart. Ever since she had just got up and stopped coming, which happened to be the same day I stopped feeling. Alice... The new younger whispered in my ear, the hunger and drive that only Alice gave me. It did not speak too loudly. But just enough so that I could hear, I frowned. "What about her?" I asked this hunger, this deep yearning that grew in my chest and flooded my stomach with moving propellers. The hunger did'nt reply, I groaned and shook my head. Then walked over to my drawer, I looked at the photo. I gazed at the old me, the old life. The faded away remains of my brother and I. The long lasting depression grinded against my skull and pierced away at my eyes. Shaking my head I sighed, "I miss you Liu, every day" I threw the phot back and locked the drawer tightly shut with my small silver key that was tucked away in my jacket pocket. I heard an impatient grunt from behind me and quickly turned around, it was Slendy. I let out a sigh, "Jeff, where is Alice? Why are you not looking after her?" his thick voice asked, "She just stepped out Slendy, I am sure she'll be back soon" I replied, trying not to piss him off. He shook his head and growled, "Watch her Jeff" his voice bellowed not to be argued with, I nodded and left my room to find where Alice had last been.
