She tried to ignore it as it roared in triumph but she couldn't.
Far across the universe she listened to the Darkness proclaim its hegemony once more, meaning its found a new warrior, a new champion to bring about another conflict that would engulf all the worlds in Darkness once more. She could feel the Light struggling to hold the Darkness back but for an unknown reason it was weakening, just barely managing to hold on.
In her crystal ball she saw five lights shining in the sky like stars:
Orange
Yellow
Red
Blue
And Green.
"I know these colors." Madam Web whispered as she conjured images of the four Keyblade Wielders. "Terra, Gwen, Zoey, and Micheal. Three of you…A Warrior, A Protector, and a Mystic. But why five? Where is the fifth?"
A light was hidden from her vision but she knew the Darkness had found it either or it would have grown much stronger. These five lights were keeping the Darkness at bay but for how long she did not know. "
Three…A Trinity but who is the member of the Trinity? Could it be the three who gained the Keyblade the day their world was lost or could it be Terra and the fifth light?" Madam Web wondered. "And what of the Darkness? Who has it chosen as its new champion?"
Her crystal ball showed images of being that the Keyblade Wielders had encountered:
The evil immortal, Mumm-Ra
The Darkness in the heart of Anakin Skywalker made real, Darth Vader
The man who Darth Vader answered, the Emperor, better known as Darth Sidious
The psychopath who had terrorized Megavile, the Joker whose real identity was Evil Stewie
And the masked boy known as Mal who wielded the Keyblade
All of these beings were very powerful and dangerous, each of them using the Darkness to sow destruction and chaos throughout the Worlds but Madam Web sensed that they were not alone and someone was hiding in the shadows. "Who could manipulate such wanton destruction? Who could masterfully create a dozen Keyblade wielders? Who could the Darkness have selected?"
The answer hit her like a two ton anvil."Xehanort."

"Last time on Total Drama Birth By Sleep, Gwen visited a new world where she helped an actual Robot Chicken save her girlfriend and former contestant Justin while having some fun with her old boyfriend, Duncan and led to an action packed showdown where Gwen sent her ex running for the hills. Than we took a little break but now we're back and we're going to see more action from Terra. Right here on Total…Drama…Birth By Sleep!" Chris declared, laughing at the camera. "All right, who goes next? Who wants to step up?"
"Let me take a crack at him. I want to see what makes him so special." Jo cracked a fist with a grin. "I won't go as easy on him as Alejandro did."
"That won't be necessary." Everyone turned around at the familiar voice and saw Mal standing at the door with his mask off, resting in his arm. "There's already a plan in place for him."
"So the old man's finally starting to get off his keister and do his own dirty work." Heather remarked grimly.
"As opposed to yours getting kicked." Mal snickered. "How any of you can honestly call yourselves fighters is beyond me."
The hotheaded ones of the group: Jo, Lightning, Duncan, and Scott growled while the rest glared deathly at Mal but they did nothing else. Though outnumbered Mal was perhaps more powerful than all of them combined and he was much, much more evil than they could ever hope to be. He was Master Xehanort's true apprentice while the rest of them were mere pawns and they knew it. They couldn't do anything to stop what's begun or they'd risk being killed by Mal and fed to the Heartless.
"So, Terra's challenge will be administered by the Master of the show himself. This will be fun to watch." Chris chuckled sinisterly.
"Oh you have no idea, Chris." Mal chuckled. "You have no idea."

After leaving Dawn back in the Time Room Terra was now riding through the Lanes Between, going over what he had learned from Prismo. He had asked the entity three questions and each answer seemed to be wrapped in riddles.
Where is Master Xehanort?
Answer: A place that drew the line between Light and Darkness.
What was that place? Answer: An ancient battleground where Key Bearers fought centuries ago.
And the final question, where was the masked boy who controlled the Unverse?
Answer: In Master Xehanort's shadow.
What did all these answers mean? Terra shook his head as he realized that perhaps he wasn't asking the right question and that was why he going to someone who might have an answer. That was what brought him to his current destination. Emerging from the portal his glider changed back into his Keyblade which vanished along with his armor as he stepped onto solid ground. The world he had arrived consisted of several hills floating amongst the clouds in an endless sunset with several stars gleaming in the back ground.
Terra stopped and looked up at the dark gothic looking tower with several webs patterned across the walls. Just as he was about to continue he saw the front pair of dark doors open and someone rushed out, running down the stairs and stopping on the 's eyes widened when he saw the person was holding a Keyblade. It was black and red with a spider decorating the top of the guard and legs sticking out of the guard. The interior of the guard had small black lines connected to the handle that resembled a spider web and the teeth resembled spider fangs and hanging from the bottom of the hilt was a keychain with a spider at the end.
As for the person carrying it he looked like…A rabbit?
Terra looked and saw it an anthropomorphic rabbit with grey fur, with patches of white, gray rabbit hears, buckteeth that all rabbits had, and a grey fluffy tail. It wore a gray short sleeved jacket with white lining with gray pants and sported a zipper going down in front of each leg along with a pouch and strap that partially covered the zippers. On its feet were large gray shoes and dark intersecting straps attached to the front of each shoe. In its hand was what looked like a spider.
"Abracadrbrah!" The rabbit shouted and in a flash of light turned into what looked like glider that shot off into the sky, the rabbit screaming all the way before it was gone. Terra looked up for a moment before proceeding towards the door. The doors opened for him and he looked inside, seeing the simple round room surrounded by a spiraling stairs case that Terra walked up, coming upon a upon a door.
"Come in, young one." A woman's voice said as Terra slowly opened the door.
Inside was a room with dark gray walls, a round table with a glass orb in front of a chair styled like web within. Behind the chair was a window with purple curtains and sitting in the chair was Madam Web herself.
"Madame Web. My name is Terra." Terra said, standing straight at the door.
"Yes. Master Eraqus's pupil. I've been expecting you. It is the Unversed that you have come to speak with me." Madame Web stated calmly.
"Yes, Madame Web. I thought it would best to seek the counsil of someone wiser than myself." Terra answered, walking up to the table.
"I am no longer a Master. I doffed that role." Madame Web waved her hand in dismissal.
"But my lady, wasn't that your pupil I passed on the way in? He had a Keyblade." Terra pointed out.
"You refer to Bugs Bunny. He, too, sought guidance. As a king, he is good and kind but the weight of the crown has not cured him of impetuousness. He has left with an object whose power he does not understand nor know how to control. Bugs Bunny imagines my Web Glider will be of help in his current quest. And, like you, he is eager to use his Keyblade to set things right." Madame Web explained.
"I'm not sure I even understand what is wrong. Master Xehanort is missing…And now I've learnd that there's a masked boy who controlling these Unversed and people that Gwen knew from her world with Keyblades on the loose." Terra frowned in confusion.
"To arrive at the truth perhaps you must look at this from a different perspective. You must first consider that the two problems are one and the same." Madame Wed advised.
"Master Xehanort and the Unversed are connected somehow?" Terra asked, surprised at what Madame Web is stating.
"I must not make assumptions." Madame Web bowed her head before looking back up at Terra. "Find Xehanort, Terra. That is where you must begin." "Yes Madame Web." Terra bowed. "Thank you." Madame Web nodded, watching Terra leave before taking a deep breath when he was gone. "I had hoped, Xehanort, that your heart would no longer lead you astray."
Xxx
Terra wondered if his conversation with Madame Web actually helped him understand things better as he was still no closer to finding the answers he was looking for. Upon leaving Madame Web's sanctuary Terra was now flying through the Lanes Between, resuming his quest to find Master Xehanort, remembering the clues he had found earlier. But he wasn't sure if he even knew where to start looking. For all he knew Master Xehanort was perhaps on other end of the universe and Terra could spend his entire life looking for him.
"Terra."
Terra's head perked up when he heard a familiar voice. "Master Xehanort?"
"Terra, come see me at once." There was a flash of light in the distance, beckoning him to follow it. He almost couldn't believe this was happening.
He had been searching for Master Xehanort all this time and now he stumbles upon a message from the Keyblade Master asking to come and meet him. Terra should probably be suspicious but he had no time to ponder this and simply followed the light as it flashed, turning into a portal and brought him into a new world. The world was made of unending, rocky badlands and a yellow sky with dust clouds covering most of the sky. Terra looked around, knowing this was place Master Xehanort had called from and after a few seconds of looking he found the elderly Keyblade Master standing atop a cliff, watching him.
"Master Xehanort." Terra whispered as he softly landed on the ground and in a flash of light his glider and armor vanished.
"Ah, Terra. I've been waiting for you." Master Xehanort smiled welcomly.
"Master Xehanort." Terra greeted. "I've been to other worlds. I know all about the things you've done. I just don't understand why."
Master Xehanort closed his eyes, his face now looking full of shame. "Someone had to safeguard the light…From the demon I unleashed. You must know about the boy by now, the one in the mask. His name is Mal. A creature of pure Darkness, one of my making."
"Mal? Are you telling me he came from you?" Terra asked, surprised by what he had just heard.
"He came from Michael." Terra gasped. "Mike?"
"Yes. Mal is the Darkness that was inside your friend." Xehanort replied, watching Terra gasp in shock. "It was an accident. While training with me Michael succumbed to Darkness, and there was but one way to save him, strip that part of him away. And thus Mal was made." Xehanort turned away, bowing his head in shame. "In the process, I damaged Michael's heart in the most horrific way. So I did what I felt was right and left him with Eraqus. I knew the boy could not stay with me, the man who did him such grievous harm." To further highlight his remorse Xehanort brought his hand to his face, hiding from view to possibly hide his sadness had having to commit such a crime.
'Mal…Wait a second.' Terra thought.
Xxx
"So Mike more than one personality?" Terra asked as he and Gwen took a lunch break from their training. "
Yes. Mike had five personalities. Chester who was an old grumpy guy, Svetlana who was a Russian athlete, Manitoba Smith who was like this archeologist extraordinare, Vito who like your typical muscular hunk with no brains, and…Mal." Gwen trailed off.
"Mal?" Terra asked.
"I guess you could call Mal Mike's evil side. That guy was literally the most evil guy on Total Drama next to Chris himself." Gwen shuddered from the memories of that psycho. "Mal was so evil that Duncan and Alejandro were wary of him. He was brutal, cunning, and he almost killed us on more than one occasion. Luckily Mike defeated Mal by absorbing him and his other personalities into himself forever and just in the nick of time too."
Xxx
'Could this Mal character be the same Gwen spoke of?' Terra thought as he as looked back on what Gwen had told him. Maybe it was and if so Mike might be in danger.
"Master Xehanort…" Terra trailed off, not sure what say for a moment as he walked up the old man. "Mike has gotten a lot better since then. You shouldn't blame yourself for trying to save him."
"Well...Thank you, lad." Xehanort looked over his shoulder at Terra with a grateful smile on his face. "You know how to put an old man's heart at ease."
Terra smiled as he closed his eyes. 'So that's what it was.'
Xxx
Terra had been training with Gwen when the sound of the great doors opening caught their attention and in walked Master Xehanort and Mike with that broken look in his eyes.
"Mike, is that you?" Gwen looked at the emotionless boy. "Mike!"
"Is he your friend?" Terra asked as he followed Gwen downstairs.
"Yeah," Gwen said as she walked up to Mike. "Mike, am I so glad to see you!"
She quickly grabbed him in a hug but for some reason Mike didn't hug her back and didn't even smile at her. Instead Mike let out scream caused her and both to jump in surprise.
"Mike, what's wrong?" Gwen asked worriedly as Mike fell to his knees, grasping his head.
"What's going on?" Terra asked, wondering what made Mike scream.
"Terra, this is Mike. He was one my friends who got a Keyblade like I told you about. What happened to him?" Gwen asked anxiously.
She didn't know what she was meant to do in this situation, the only thing that she could think of was to hold her friend protectively, to try and make sure that he was all right but she didn't want to make him scream again.
"We were just asking him some questions, and…" Terra grimaced, wondering what he did wrong, and what he did to cause such a reaction from Mike.
"Michael cannot tell you anything…" Eraqus interrupted their conversation, as he, along with Xehanort, made their way towards the group of three.
"It is because he cannot remember anything." Gwen glanced towards Xehanort, as he cradled the young boy.
Xxx
This explained so much of what happened that day. Mike must have lost his memories when the Darkness in him was released. That might also explain why Master Eraqus forbade Mike from leaving the Land of Departure. He might have thought Mike was in danger from being hurt by Mal once Master Xehanort had told him what had happened.
Terra frowned as he looked back up at Xehanort. "Master…Why is Mal still free?"
"Ah yes." Xehanort turned back around to face Terra. "Well, I did my best to contain him the moment he emerged but…"
"He managed to escape." Terra finished.
Xehanort nodded as he walked past Terra. "Mal uses the Keyblade to sow seeds of Darkness. And now you see the Worlds teem with his ghastly underlings."
"The Unversed!" Terra's eyes widened in shock and understanding. "And the Key Bearers Gwen and I encountered?"
"A special ritual, exactly the same as the one that gave Michael and Gwen their Keyblades before their world was destroyd. Mal's knowledge of the Keyblade comes from his former union with Michael, allowing him to understand the power he now wields. He has no control over the Darkness in his heart. The Keyblade is not his to bear." Xehanort said as he stopped a foot away and faced Terra, his face filled with sadness at the thought of the monster he had unintentionally created to save Mike. "He is an abomination beyond the hope of salvation." Xehanort held out his hand to Terra. "Lend me your strength, Terra. Right this wrong that I have wrought."
Terra frowned as he brought a hand to his chin. "But I have no idea where to find him."
"What I can tell you about Mal amounts to this, his Darkness is drawn to the Light which he seeks to disrupt and then destroy."
Suddenly in Terra's mind images of his friends, Mike and Gwen for some reason. He first saw the memories of their last night at the Land of Departure and then images of them, lying somewhere on the ground, wearing their armor.
"It stands to reason that he will strike next at two of the places strongest with the Light. The City of Light, Radient Garden and the City of Heroes, Megaville." Xehanort stated, bring Terra out of this thoughts.
Terra shook his head to focus himself. "Don't worry, Master. I'll take care of Mal."
Without a word Terra left the mysterious world he had found Master Xehanort on, intent on carrying out his promise to stop Mal.
"What a sucker." A voice behind Xehanort laughed as a form of Darkness came out of Xehanort's shadow and formed into Mal. "He's about as a gulliable as Zoey and that's something I didn't think was possible."
Master Xehanort looked at Mal. "You remember the next step?"
"Right. Make sure they are all gathered together. I've got the perfect way to do it." Mal snickered. I was getting tired of sneaking around anyways."
"Good. They will be ready by the time they face." Xehanort nodded, looking back up at the sky. "All that is left now is to ensure each victory brings them one step closer to falling."
Xxx
"Wow. Things are starting to heat up now, aren't they? What awaits Terra at Radiant Garden? What is Mal up to?" Chris asked, grinning at the camera that recorded everything. "Will it be entertaining? Most likely, yes."
"Oh knock it off." Jo rolled her eyes. "So that Master wannabee is going to Radiant Garden huh? And Mal's going to step his game."
"Better him than us." Duncan said.
"Yeah, let the losers deal with it." Heather turned and walked out of the room.
"Will they deal with it? Find out as we continue here on Total…Drama…Birth By Sleep!" Chris announced.
Xxx
"Oh man. Still no Terra." Mike sighed, walking through the remains of a city he had found when he entered this world. The he had found himself in was deserted and it looked it gone through some sort of cataclysm. The buildings didn't look very old since the plants hadn't grown very high. Mike stopped in front of a castle that looked like a giant black cat and slowly walked inside, wondering why the city would have a cat shaped castle. The answer to his questions were soon answered as he stepped into a hall with a throne and lying at the foot of the throne was a woman with cat like features.
"Whoa! An anthropomorphic cat!" Mike said as he walked up to the unconscious woman and looked her over.
She was slender and curvy and had brown hair with white highlights reaching her upper back. It is tied in a ponytail with strands framing both sides of her face, wearing a dark brown dress with golden manacles and a garter on her right thigh. Her necklace had a small black stone bound by a red chord and a bag was worn on her hip.
"Who are you?!"
Mike jumped and spun around, spotting three people who were standing behind him, brandishing weapons. They were anthropomorphic cats like the woman lying on the floor with the middle being the largest, having blue skin, while his upper body was well developed and tapers down to a slender waist. A band of dark brown hair circled around the lower skull and was pulled back into a warriors tail. The hair then extended down his face into a pair of impressive mutton chops. Scars slashed over his chest, right shoulder and over his right eye.
A further star-shaped scar was on his left shoulder and the outfit was fairly simple; a red/brown waistcoat with spikes down the front, black trousers and a belt with the customary red jewel, red/brown shoes that leave the claws exposed, and studded red/brown wrist guards. The one on the right had red-orange fur with black stripes and white areas. He wore a blue outfit and green armor and he walked barefoot, showing the claws on his feet. He pulled out a blue whip with three balls at the end and looked ready to slash it at Mike. The final one was a woman that had blonde hair with spots. She wore a brown outfit that exposes lots of her cleavage and midriff, and sandals with brown wrist-to-elbow guards that sport a disc around each wrist.
These discs are also present around her ankles. Her face had strange markings, presenting a pale pink upsweep around her pale red eyes, giving the impression of drastic eye makeup bordered by short, blonde eyebrows. In her hands was a yellow bo-staff that she twirled expertly in her hand, demonstrating herself as someone dangerous.
"Whoa easy! I'm mean no harm! I'm Mike!" Mike hastily introduced himself, holding up his hands to show he was not a threat.. "I was just looking around and I found this girl here!"
The cat like man on the left narrowed his eyes. "Why are you here?"
"I'm looking for someone. A friend of mine." Mike answered, lowering his hands. "I thought he might have come here." He looked back at the woman who was seemingly asleep. "What happened to her?"
"Mumm-Ra cursed her into eternal sleep and now he's stolen her heart."
This answer didn't come from the three cats but from a young anthropomorphic cat that was possibly a boy who slipped out from behind the adult cats with a girl next to him. The boy had white with brown highlights and wore clothing that was adorned with multiple pouches and pockets, much like the girl next to him. Like many of the other cats clothing, his outfit was asymmetrical, having only one glove on his left hand. The girl had orange colored hair with black highlights and wore a single-shoulder short top that left her midriff bare and a skirt made of different hanging pieces.
Unlike most of the other Cats, she was completely barefoot, wearing only adornments around her ankles.
"Be quiet Kat! We don't know if he can be trusted!" The giant cat scolded.
"He looks nice to me!" The boy retorted.
"Yeah. He probably is a good guy." The girl agreed. "How about I prove I'm a good guy by getting her heart back?" Mike asked, gesturing to Pumrya.
"That's impossible, kid." The orange fured cat said. "Mumm-Ra's pyramid is very far. It's not safe for a kid like you."
"I'm not afraid." Mike said defiantly. "We can't just leave her like this. I can help. You got to believe me. Come on, let's go get her heart."
"He's right." The boy, Wily Kat said. "We got to go and help Liono."
The blue cat frowned but suddenly smiled. "You know? You're right. We can take my tank to reach Mumm-Ra's pyramid."
"But Panthro-" The orange cat protested.
"He's got that same look in his eyes as Liono." Panthro stepped forward and put a hand on Mike's shoulder. "Come on, kid. I know the way. We wouldn't want you to get lost."
Mike smiled as he followed after Panthro. "Thanks for letting me help."
"Don't mention it, kid."
"It's Mike."
"Whatever."
Xxx
Outside of the ruined city Mike was greeted with the awe inspiring shape of a giant tank shaped like a cat that Panthro affectionately called the 'Thunder Tank'. "Wow!" "She's a beaut, ain't she?" Panthro said as he got in the driver seat. "Build her myself." "Wait till Terra and Gwen see this." Mike said as he hopped on along with the other Thunder Cats.
"But if it's a tank won't it take forever to find this Mumm-Ra?" "She may be a tank but she's fast. This baby can take you though land, air, fire and water." Panthro said, grabbing a throttle and pushed up to the max level, causing the Thunder Tank to shoot away from the city with what sounded like a roar.
"Whoa!" Mike shouted in jubiliation from the speed.
Xxx
"Great, Mikey goes tomb robbing with a bunch of walking furballs." Jo rolled her eyes at the image of Mike riding the Thunder Tank. "Why are we watching this? It's not like we are going to be doing anything about it?"
"Because it's not just Mike we're watching." Chris answered as he pressed a button and the screen showing Mike was replaced by a familiar Key Bearer exiting the portan from the Lanes Between and took her first step onto Third-Earth.
"Gwen." Heather scowled. "I should have known that she'd stick her Gothy claws into this."
"Two Key Bearers in the same world." Chris chuckled. "And it just so happens that Gwen's challenge is to find the pyramid of that evil mummy. And someone needs to do that. Orders from the old man."
"Why do we need to do that? Let's just take her out and be done with it." Courtney commented. "She doesn't stand a chance if we attack her all together."
"Fine by me. I want a rematch with her anyways." Heather agreed.
"No thanks. I'm not gaining up on Gothy just because you two couldn't beat her. I'll do it myself thank you very much." Jo scoffed.
"Lightning don't need no team to take down one puny chick." Lightning said in agreement.
"It would be unfair to simply attack her with superior numbers. I am not one to participate in such horrendous games." Alejandro stated.
"Thanks for supporting your girlfriend, Al." Heather grumbled.
"As much as I like a game of 'Rush the New Guy' I'm more interested in fighting her one on one. It's more fun." Duncan shrugged.
"Of course." Courtney rolled her eyes.
"That'd be against the rules anyways." Chris scolded as he faced the Dark Key Bearers. "So who shall it be this time? Three of you already tried and lucked out." "Let me do it."
Scott raised his hand. "I can take her."
"Yeah right." Courtney rolled her eyes. "She'd beat you with her eyes closed and one hand tied behind her back."
"Perhaps I should step up to avenge Heather's defeat at her hands." Alejandro offered. "I cannot take watching Gwen trounce my girlfriend and not exact revenge on her behalf."
Heather crossed her arms."Fine but make her hurt."
"For you, my dear, anything." Alejandro smiled and bowed.
"Yeah, yeah, just go. And remember, it doesn't matter if you beat her or not. Just get her to that mummy's pyramid." Chris waved off the annoying affection.
"As you wish." Alejandro pulled the hood of his coat over his face and stepped into a Corridor of Darkness that appeared in front of him.
"He's toast. He'll never beat Gwen and Mike if they're together." Duncan grumbled.
"Bitter Duncan?" Heather smirked. "Alejandro will be more than a match for Gothy. He's more skilled with his Keyblade than you are pyro-loser."
"I was closer to whacking her than both you and Courtney were. And I recall Alejandro lost his first fight like everyone else did." Duncan retorted.
"True but that was against Terra who was more combat orientated. Gwen's not a fighter no matter how tough she is." Heather chuckled. "He'll roast her alive."
"We'll soon find out." Chris turned back to the screen.
Xxx
"Another world, another headache." Gwen sighed after her armor receded back into her forearm armor pads and took her first step into the desert that greeted her when she arrived in the new world. "I just hope I find Mike or the others here. I just hope Terra has had better luck than me."
Her last world adventure had been a disaster when she had found her fellow former competitor Justin, one of the contestants she had not been on good terms with the last time she had seen him but that was so long ago that it didn't really matter. What did matter is that he had been held captive by a madman and she helped save him… Only to lose him when her ex-boyfriend Duncan appeared from out of the Darkness and attack, kidnapping Justin and fighting her with a Keyblade of his own.
'First Heather, than Courtney, and now Duncan. That's three people who I have had personal dealings with years ago during Total Drama. Heather who is been like my sworn enemy from day one, Courtney who has been after my head after Duncan got together with me, and then Duncan…my ex.' Gwen flinched as she remembered the relationship she once had with Duncan. 'Together for nearly two years before we fell apart. And now the three of them have Keyblades like me and are after my head…or maybe my heart.'
The three know doubt were after her because of well…their rivalry back on Total Drama which has somehow evolved into a full blown war.
"Those three are after me but the real question is…Are they the only ones?" Gwen mused out loud.
"Indeed Gwen." Gwen's eyes shot up as a Corridor of Darkness appeared a few feet away and out of it stepped someone wearing the same dark coat that Heather, Courtney, and Duncan wore when she fought them and slowly took off his hood. "…Alejandro."
Alejandro had changed very little since the last time she had seen him, following the end of Total Drama All-Stars. His hair was slightly longer with a single dark streak through it, like Courtney.
"So, you too huh? I should have known. Wherever Heather goes you are not far behind." Gwen remarked, now becoming used to these appearances. "And I'm beginning to think I know who else might be lurking in the shadows with a Keyblade, waiting to try and kill me."
"Really?" Alejandro asked with an intrigued look on his face. "Do tell."
"You along with the others were all on the same team during the last season of Total Drama. The team was made up of villains, people who were 'evil' during the show. And then there's the fact that just after the show ends Mike, Zoey and I gain Keyblades just in time for the world to end. So based on what I know and what I've seen then I should expect not only you to have a Keyblade but the rest of the members from the Villanous Vultures! And then there's the matter of the person who gave you the power to use the Keyblade." Gwen pointed at Alejandro with an angry and accusing look on her face. "This is Chris's doing isn't it? He set this whole thing up from the beginning didn't he? He destroyed our world and I bet he even has a connection with the Unversed."
Alejandro chuckled and clapped his hands. "Bravo, Gwen. Bravo. Truly you are as smart as you are ethricaly beautiful. Heather and Courtney clearly don't give you enough credit."
"Are you going to answer me anything?" Gwen questioned.
"And what does it matter?" Alejandro lightly asked.
"What does it matter? What matters is our world was destroyed and you are helping Chris and whoever is pulling his strings cause more destruction to the rest of the worlds!" Gwen shouted, anger and rage becoming dominant in her voice.
"Pulling his strings?" Alejandro asked.
"Chris isn't smart enough to mastermind a plot to cause death and destruction and he's not smart enough in any forms of magic. He's always had more ratings and money than brains." Gwen explained.
"True." Alejandro admitted.
Xxx
"She's got a point." Duncan chuckled.
"Hey!" Chris cried as the rest of the Dark Hedgehogs laughed at him. "I do too have brains since I set up all this equipment."
"Really? You mean it wasn't the Unversed or the Heartless that did it." Jo quipped and laughed at the sour look on Chris's face.
Xxx
"Chris is good at preparing challenges but he's not a fighter or a tactician. He couldn't have masterminded a plan to attack the worlds and giving us Keyblades makes this scheme too complicated for it to be him. No…Someone else is behind this and it can only be someone who has knowledge of the Keyblade who could train you and rest of the villains team to use the Keyblade and the Darkness." Gwen continued. "Chris is nothing but a patsy, a front for the real mastermind." Alejandro chuckled at Gwen calling Chris a patsy.
"My, my, Gwen you have really got things figured out. I' impressed. So who is the so-called mastermind?"
"I was hoping you'd tell me. Why are you even doing this?" Gwen questioned. "What's in it for you and the others?"
"I'm afraid that is personal, Gwen but as a favor I promise you that I will not try to brutally kill you as your previous opponents did." Alejandro summoned his Keyblade and held it in front of his face, performing what appeared to be a warrior's salute.
"Alejandro, don't do this. No matter you are or have been death and destruction is not what you want. It's not you." Gwen said, trying to reason with her former fellow competitor. "You're not a killer no matter cold you act. You know this isn't right. The Heartless, the Unversed, and whoever is out there behind all this is pure madness."
"True but desperate times call for desperate measures." Alejandro brought his Keyblade down to the side with one foot out.
Gwen summoned her Keyblade. "I don't want to fight you or the others, not even Heather but I will if I have and I'm a lot stonger now than I was back at Total Drama."
"I know." Alejandro said before leaping up into the air, somersaulting down towards Gwen and brought his Keyblade down.
Gwen brought her Keyblade up, blocking the attack with a Reflega spell but the force of Alejandro's attack pushed her back. Gwen jumped back, removing her Keyblade and spun around, slashing at Alejandro's mid-section but Alejandro easily blocked and pushed Gwen's Keyblade aside, launching a slash at Gwen's chest. Gwen stepped back, blocking Alejandro's next few attacks, back flipping as Alejandro thrust his Keyblade at her head and quickly used her Reflega spell to block the next attack.
"Impressive." Alejandro remarked at his Keyblade clashed with Gwen's. "I heard you trained under Madame Web before switching to the other one. I understand they both trained you in the art of Keyblade magic."
"How do you know?" Gwen narrowed her eyes. "Have you been spying on me? All this time? With Chris?"
Instead of answering Alejandro slashed at her, launching multiple attacks at once that forced Gwen back, jumping and spinning to parry every attack.
"Your style is based on flexibility, utilizing it along with your magic as defense and unpredictability to confuse your opponents. Your not as strong as Terra but you have enough strength to knock down almost any opponent." Alejandro stated, launching a sweep at Gwen's chest which she hastily blocked. "I admit, you truly are strong and very powerful enough that it is understandable that Heather, Courtney, and Duncan lost to you in their fights. They always believe that power alone would be enough to conquer anything in their way." Alejandro grinned. "But enough to defeat me."
Gwen glared at him as she spun around, blocking an attack aimed at her back by raising her Keyblade over head and catching Alejandro's Keyblade and rolled back to gain some breathing room. She ran forward, feigning to the left before attacking from the right. At first it seemed Alejandro had fallen for it but spun around and blocked Gwen's Keyblade, shoving it to the ground and tried to pull Gwen down with it. Acting on reflex Gwen somersaulted over the top of Alejandro's Keyblade while still locked and managed to break free and retreat.
"Truly impressive." Alejandro commented with a admiring smile. "Not even Heather is capable of such elegant moves."

"I will kill him and rip Gwen's heart." Heather growled. "Oh. This is getting good." Chris snickered and ducked, dodging the fire ball Heather fired at him in anger.

Alejandro continued pushing Gwen back with multiple whirling slashes that matched the elegant performance of a professional fencer which Gwen was quick to realize as she hastily worked to block every strike. It wasn't simply a style that Alejandro used it was a style that he mastered to a degree that resembled a work of art. He maintained a safe distance and launched quick attacks, utilizing speed and precision over strength while able to effectively dodge any attack that Gwen could try to launch to stop him. Alejandro was always dangerous during Total Drama but now he was a dangerous enemy that might just kill her if she's not careful and what her fights with Heather, Courtney and Duncan had shown her.
She needed to turn this fight around and fast or there was a good chance Alejandro would beat her and possibly kill her. Heather, Courtney, and Duncan had all come at her with the intent to kill and she didn't believe Alejandro was any different. Gwen charged forward.
"Thunder!" Alejandro raised his Keyblade, blocking the bolt of lightning that came down from the sky but Gwen was not done.
"Freeze!" A shard of ice shot from the tip of Gwen's Keyblade, hurtling across the air towards Alejandro who blocked with his Keyblade.
"Is this it, Gwen?" Alejandro taunted with a confident smirk that boarded on arrogance. It seemed he had the advantage in this fight but just as Gwen was in striking distance that was when he realized too late that Gwen had a plan.
"Aeroga!" Gwen pointed hey Keyblade up as what could only be described as a whirlwind that kicked up sand in all directions that pushed Alejandro back several feet as he shielded his eyes to protect them from the hail of sand that slammed into his face.
Gwen rushed forward, slashing her Keyblade up and knocking Alejandro's to the side and brought her foot up, delivering a sharp kick to the chest that sent him reeling back. Alejandro grunted loudly as Gwen kicked him in the chest and nearly fell down thanks to the sandy ground that made up the desert they stood on. It was in that moment that Alejandro realized he had chosen a poor place to confront and fight Gwen, especially since she was a skilled magic-user. He couldn't have a solid stance on the ground like this which was bad for him since his fighting style that relied on his footwork which hindered him. And Gwen now knew that.
"You knew." Alejandro accused, glaring at Gwen.
"I suspected. One thing you learn about fighting is that some fighting styles have a distinct disadvantage in certain places. For example if you have a fighting style that utilizes aerobatics, agility, and speed it becomes next to impossible to use in a crowded environment. Your style uses your feet to maintain a fair distance and to quickly move underneath you opponents guard. If we were on solid ground you'd have the advantage but in a desert like this you can't maintain a solid stance on the ground and that makes it hard to maintain your balance which is fatal in a fight." Gwen explained calmly. "You screwed up, Alejandro."
Alejandro looked angry at first but then smirked. "You truly are a good fighter, Gwen and you are much more cunning than I imagined. Now I understand why Heather feels so threatened by you."
Xxx
"I am not threatened by her!" Heather shouted in anger at what her boyfriend stated.
Chris snickered.

"Give up, Alejandro. You can't beat me like this." Gwen stated, pointing her Keyblade at Alejandro. "Let's not fight. Work with me, help me find and save the others. Be a hero and help me stop the Unversed."
Alejandro chuckled. "You've come a long since the Villainous Vultures, Gwen. You are acting like a real hero and I actually respect your courage. But I must decline."
"Alejandro please. I don't want to end up killing you or the others." Gwen said, genuinely trying to make him see reason.
"Some things are much worse than death." Alejandro said, preparing himself. "Dark Impulse!"
Gwen barely had the time to see Alejandro become engulfed by an aura of Darkness before he moved with such speed he created a comet tail of dust as he charged forward and Gwen instinctively created a barrier that blocked the first two strikes before shattering under the third and fell to her knee as she just barely blocked the fourth strike. Alejandro quickly launched a few slashes that knocked Gwen onto her back as she let out a startled scream. Looking up Gwen watch as Alejandro pointed his key at her chest, realizing what he was after: her heart.
"Alejandro, please…" Gwen whispered as she looked up with begging eyes. "Don't do this."
"I have no choice." Alejandro whispered back as he prepared to stab her.
However just before he could both heard a voice shouting through the air. "Hold it right there!"
Alejandro looked up in time to see the dark outline of someone fall towards him, pulling out a sword and sing it down. Alejandro quickly jumped back, the sword missing his face as the stranger landed between him and Gwen. Once the dust from the person's cleared away both Gwen and Alejandro could see him and were shocked his appearance.
"A giant…cat?" Alejandro said in shock.
The so-called cat was of average build with cream and gold colored fur, spiky red hair, blue/teal eyes, pointed ears, small, elongated fangs and a striped face. His attire consisted of pale blue armor on his shoulders, torso, and hips, with dark blue pants that needed to be held up by a large belt, and silver shin guards that also covered and protected his knees while he wore no shoes leaving him barefooted.
"That's Thunder-Cat." The cat answered. "I am Lion-o, Lord of the Thunder-Cats and I don't like someone attacking a person who can't fight back. You defeated her and yet you were willing to kill while she was defenseless. Why do such a thing?"
"Orders." Alejandro stated simply while pointing his Keyblade at the so-called Thunder-Cat. "She's an enemy and I was ordered to fight her with the intent to kill. You on the other hand are in my way, 'Lord of the Thunder-Cats'." Lion-o narrowed his eyes. "And I don't intend to let you carry out your orders. Leave now while you still can."
Alejandro chuckled. "And what can you do against me, kitty-cat?"
Lion-o held out his sword as Gwen stood up. "Wait! You don't have to fight him and risk your life!"
"Don't worry." Lion-o whispered as he swung his sword through the air that suddenly started to grow in length, becoming a full-broad sword with the eye on its hilt resembling the symbol of a tiger as blue lightning shot out from the blade, lighting up the sky above the three. Or a cat.
"Thunder…"
"Thunder…"
"Thunder!"
"Thunder-Cats! HOOOOOOOO!"
