*****Spoilers if you haven't read my fanfic****
Okay. Here's the thing. One flame from a person who throughly read the fanfic from chapter one til now I can accept. But. When it's clear the person who flamed this fanfic not once-but twice, seems like they didn't even start from the beginning of the fanfic and went straight to defending the "hero's-Well in this case, Ichigo's honor" The thing is, once Rukia left with Yuki, nothing happened. Rukia never caused any trouble for him for the 6 years they've been apart. It was Ichigo who tried to be part of their lives when it's convenient for him. If he really wanted to explain what really happened he would have gone to soul society and pummeled all the captains to get to her but he didn't. Which means he didn't care enough for them. He lead a happy content life with Orihime after Rukia left with Yuki. For SIX YEARS.
Rukia and Yuki?
They've been living in Soul Society quite fine after months of being put down and humiliated-but still carried on without even thinking about Ichigo.
Plus, you saying how Ichigo wasted his life during high school life fighting Aizen isn't enough to compare the pain of what Rukia and Yuki went through? The constant thought of feeling nothing more than a mistake? The mere thought of feeling back stabbed by the two people who you thought would never do so? The feeling of being shunned by your own peers? Being emotionally scarred is nothing compared to what Ichigo went through?
Is Ichigo immune to moral obligation?
Hello no!
But wait! Rukia's and Yuki's emotions mean nothing for as long as the "Hero" who is put up on a pedestal can do no wrong. Hell, he deserves a golden statue and plaque!
*rolls eyes*

"Kurosaki," Rukia finally broke the silence as she continued to run her slender fingers through Yuki's hair. "Please, the next time Yuki and I have dinner with Yuzu chan, Karin Chan and your father, don't be there. Let Yuki have her day with the people she loves."
"Under one condition..."
Birds chirping and leaves rustling was heard as Yuki stares at the door before her. She was tightly squeezing Rukia's hand because she knew. Yuki knew where she was.
His obnoxious reistu oozes from the hell hole Yuki once called her home.
"Mom?" Yuki quietly called out. "Do I have to be strong for this?"
Yuki was now looking at Rukia who swallows her pride. Rukia is doing this for Yuki. Yuki needs to connect with the other half of herself.
Tightly gripping Yuki's hand, Rukia quietly whispers to Yuki. "You know I love you, right?"
An eye brow arches once Yuki watches Rukia stares straight ahead, avoiding Yuki's eyes.
"Yeah... I know you love me-"
"And I would never do anything that would hurt you..." Yuki looks up at Rukia who's beaming a big right smile-this confused Yuki. Why would Rukia bring her to his place when they clearly don't want anything to do with him?
Though, the real question should be, why is Rukia's voice so uneasy?
"Mom..." Yuki oddly called out, "Why are you-"
Two firm knocks on the door was heard. It was Rukia who knocked on the door and it was those eager steps that stumbled it's way towards the door that made Yuki pale. Yuki is doing this for Rukia. She's being strong for Rukia's-was that the scent of Yuzu's homemade okonomiyaki?
Two days of Yuzu's homemade okonomiyaki?
Yuki's mouth watered the moment the door swung open to the sight of smiling orange haired man who more than happily invited Rukia and Yuki in.
Tightly gripping Rukia's hand, Yuki's head beams up at Rukia, "Moom..." Yuki sadly pouts, "Kurosaki knows my weakness..."
Smiling, Rukia playfully taps Yuki's nose, "Let's just go and eat."
The quiet hovered above Ichigo, Rukia, and Yuki. Only the sound of chopsticks tinkling against ceramic bowls was heard as Ichigo took quick glance at Rukia and Yuki. The love and care radiating from them felt so comforting and so warm-he wants to be part of that once again.
An eyebrow arches once Yuki nudges Rukia. "Mom... do you want to start?"
"Oh?" Rukia mischievously smiles, "You're going to lose like last time we played this..."
"Nuuuu..." Yuki cheerfully pouted, "I'm going to win this-"
"Can I play?" Ichigo's voice was eager and willing as he looked at Rukia, reminding her of the deal they made last night.
-Flash Back-
"Kurosaki," Rukia finally broke the silence as she continued to run her slender fingers through Yuki's hair. "Please, the next time Yuki and I have dinner with Yuzu chan, Karin Chan and your father, don't be there. Let Yuki have her day with the people she loves."
"Under one condition..."
An eye brow arches. "That condition is?"
Letting out a deep huff, Ichigo ran his calloused hand through his hair, "I want to have dinner with just you and Yuki and be part of the love radiating around you two... I want things to be the way they were. I want back the family I had before I-"
He wants to be part of Yuki's life...
"Yuki won't be happy about this Kurosaki, and-"
"That's why I want you to be there too... Yuki listens to you..."
-Flash Back end-
"Nuuu..." Yuki maliciously teased, "You can't play because you aren't a Ku-"
"He'll be an honorary Kuchiki for a day."
It went silent as Yuki's eye brow twitched as she looked at Rukia. An honorary Kuchiki for the day? What is mom doing!?
"Moommm..." Yuki awkwardly warned. "He's a-"
"Kurosaki." Rukia quickly interrupts as she looks as she looks straight ahead, avoiding Yuki's confused pout. "Just watch Yuki and I. Join when you catch-"
"Buuutt mooommmm..." Yuki angrily pouts, "He's not a Kuchiki!"
"Neither is Uncle Renji," Rukia quickly added, "and he played with us."
Eyes stared at Rukia with disbelief. Rukia is actually helping Ichigo back into their lives?
"Moommmmm!" Yuki whined as she folded her arms. "He's not a Ku-"
"Yuki." Ichigo boldly interrupted. He was looking at her with the utmost sincerity-Rukia noticed.
Yuki's violet eyes watched Ichigo as he slowly puts down his chopsticks and looks at her and Yuki knew. She knew-for once Ichigo was being sincere. He wasn't doing this because he has to or be was obligated. He just wants to be with the family he once had. The family he nearly destroyed.
Taking a quick glance at Rukia who closes her head and nods, Yuki lets out a deep huff and looks at Ichigo. "Kurosaki."
Alas! Rukia is actually helping Ichigo patch things up with Yuki?
Cautiously, Ichigo gets out of his seat as he advances Yuki-Yuki slightly scoots away and braces herself. She denies Ichigo any chance of hugging her. She's not ready for that yet.
"There's something I want you to see."
A eye brow arches once Yuki stares at Ichigo. What's so important about what Ichigo wants Yuki to see? It's not as if it's going to change the way she feels about him. Nothing could possibly change the way she feels about Ichigo.
Not after what he did to them.
Reluctantly, Yuki follows Ichigo as she grabs Rukia's hand, urging Rukia to follow her. Urging Rukia to stay with her during times like these. Times where Yuki feels uncomfortable.
Alas! Ichigo sands before the closed door of a room Ichigo wants Yuki to see... This seems all too familiar to Yuki who tightly holds onto Rukia's hand as Ichigo turns around and looks at Yuki. "Yuki, open the door.."
Violet eyes beamed up at Rukia who smiles at her and nudges her, "Go on now... "
Loosening her hold from Rukia's hand, Yuki slowly advances the door. Her hand rests on the cold door knob as she twists it. The sound of the door slowly creaks open-Yuki's eyes widen.
